June, 2019, Part 4, Political Class Insanity: Obama's Historical Lies and a Brand New Whopper Of A Lie

It is another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let’s get started:

Countless times over the years we have reviewed the hundreds, if not thousands, of times, that Obama lied to the country. His favorite categories of lies included the following:

Obama promised that if you like your current doctor, you can keep your current doctor under the Obama Care legislation. False: millions of Americans lost access to their current doctors because of Obama Care.
Obama promised that if you like your current insurance company and policy, you can keep your current insurance company and policy under the Obama Care legislation. False: probably upwards of seven million Americans lost access to their current and likely preferred insurance policies.
Obama promised that if you like your current hospital, you can keep your access to that hospital under Obama Care. False: under Obama Care, many hospitals changed or restricted the types of insurance customers they would accept, shutting many, many Americans out of their preferred hospitals.
Obama promised that under Obama Care, an American family could see upwards of a $2,500 reduction in their annual health insurance premiums. False: under Obama Care the vast majority, if not all, insurance policies saw huge, double digit percentage increases in the annual cost of their premiums.
Obama promised that Obama Care would not add a single dime to the national debt. False: according to a Congressional Budget Office estimate, Obama Care in the first ten years was estimated to add almost $2 trillion to the national debt.
Obama promised that Obama Care would “bend the cost” curve of healthcare downwards. False: if anything, the cost of healthcare accelerated upwards under Obama Care.
Obama promised that signing up for an Obama Care policy would be as simple as signing onto Amazon to buy a product: False: the online Obama Care process was shoddy, slow, and exposed millions of Americans to identity theft because of poor security protocols, something that never happens on Amazon.
Obama said the Benghazi attack on the U.S. consulate was caused by an obscure YouTube video. False: the attack, which left four Americans dead, was a planned and ruthless terrorist attack which had nothing to do with some YouTube video.
Obama promised to go through the Federal budget line by line to weed out excessive government spending and reduce the annual Federal deficit by 50% by the end of his first term. False: under Obama, government spending exploded, resulting in four consecutive years of trillion dollar deficits, and the nearly doubling of the Federal government debt during his term.
Obama promised that all Obama Care debates and negotiations in Congress would be broadcast on C-SPAN, False: those broadcasts never happened.
Obama promised that all legislation sent to him to be signed would be posted on the Web for at least five days before he would sign it. False: pending legislation never appeared on the Net.
Obama promised that lobbyists would be excluded from high ranking positions in his administration. False: powerful lobbyists ended up in high level positions in his administration almost immediately after taking office.

Let’s stop there, you get the idea, this man lied to the country about everything from Obama Care to budgeting to the Iranian nuclear arms deal to who knows what else. A fuller listed of his lies can be found at a previous post of ours:

We bring his past history of pathological lying up today because apparently he is still out there throwing around erroneous information and realities. His latest excursion into lying happened outside of the country:

According to a May 31, 2019 article by Ryan Cleckner on the Federalist website, Obama recently gave a speech down in Brazil at a “digital innovation” event.
For whatever reason, he took the opportunity to talk about, and lie about current U.S. gun laws.
Specifically: “Our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense. Anybody can buy any weapon, any time, without much, if any, regulation. They can buy [guns] over the internet, they can buy machine guns.”
Mr. Cleckner found at significant and numerous lies in this Obama statement.
Obama said “anybody can buy any weapon” which is not true since there are at least three major Federal government restrictions on who can buy a weapon that does not include the many, many state and local restrictions on who can buy a weapon.
According to Federal rules, no one under the age of 21 can purchase a handgun from a dealer and no one under 18 years old can buy a rifle or shotgun.
According to Federal rules, felons, those convicted of domestic violence crimes, drug addicts, illegal immigrants, fugitives, or veterans with dishonorable discharges can buy a weapon in this country.
And finally, Federal rules prohibit non-U.S. citizens from buying a weapon in this country.
State and local gun rules pile on additional restrictions on who can buy a weapon.
Obama also claimed that any weapon can be easily purchased in this country.
But since 1986, generally no civilian can purchase a machine gun.
The National Firearms Act of 1934 regulates and prevents other types of weapon purchases.
States pile on other equipment restrictions since, for example, Connecticut prohibits the sale of AR-15 style rifles and California prohibits the sale of the most handgun models.
Obama claimed that in this country you can purchase a weapon at any time.
But this is not true since when buying a gun from a licensed gun dealer, a background check must be done through the National Criminal Background Check System which operates only during certain hours of the day.
A purchase cannot be made outside of the hours of that the background checks computer systems are working.
For example, the Federal background system is only up for 17 hours a day.
In addition, some states require that a background also be done according to their state’s own standards.
In addition, if a person is outside of his home state, he is not allowed to purchase a handgun, disproving Obama’s assertion that anyone at any time can buy a weapon in this country.
Some guns, such as short barreled rifles, must get clearance from ATF before completing the purchase, a clearance process that can take up to 10 months.
Again disproving Obama’s asserting that anyone can buy any weapon at any time with little regulations.
Obama claimed that weapons can be purchased with very little regulations which we have already proven to be false since certain categories of people have been regulated out of the weapon market, the Federal government requires background checks, the ATF is involved in some purchases before they are approved, and the states and local government have a whole other set of regulations.
Obama implies that guns in this country can easily be purchased over the Internet, i.e. a gun can be purchased online and sent directly to the purchaser’s home without any regulations.
This is not true since if someone tries to purchase a weapon on the Net, that weapon is not shipped to the customer directly; it is first shipped to a local Federally registered firearms dealer who does the necessary regulatory and background check processes before the customer gets the weapon.
And possibly the biggest lie of all, anyone can purchase “any weapon,” a blatant lie.
First of all, no ordinary citizen can buy a machine gun [there is a very narrow, highly, highly regulated exception to this statement but it is not worth going into since most ordinary citizens have no chance of ever legally getting their hands on a machine gun.]
And just to be clear, Obama implied that any weapon can be bought at any time, not that any gun can be bought at any time.
Civilians are not allowed to buy machine guns, hand grenades, rocket launchers, land mines, flame throwers, etc., weapons that are not legal but which Obama says can be easily bought in this country.

Obviously, his penchant for lying and skewing the truth has not ebbed since he left office. As always, you have to wonder if he actually believes these lies that he has been spouting over the years and thus, lives in a whole different reality from the rest of us. Or he thinks we are too stupid to think for ourselves to examine the truth and reality of a situation and are too enthralled with his words to not trust him.

His denial of reality may be one of the reasons why he was one of the worst Presidents ever, with no significant positive accomplishments to speak of, either economically, diplomatically, or domestically. Obama Care was a total failure, the Iranian deal was a failure, the Paris Climate Agreement was a failure, he almost doubled the national debt, our public schools are no better than when he took office, our infrastructure is still crumbling, he allowed Russia to be a major international player and pest again, Medicare is eight years closer to fiscal insolvency, as is Medicaid and Social Security, etc.

In any case, it is a sad commentary that someone of such a lying and dishonest nature actually was President for eight years. And worse, millions of people never questioned his lack of integrity and penchant of lying about everything.

June, 2019, Part 3, Political CLass Insanity: More Hillary/FBI Corruption, Soda Tax Failure In Philly, and Liberal Wall Hyprocisy

Let’s get started:

1) In our last post we discussed the reality that we now know that Hillary Clinton’s use of an illegal unsecured computer server, that she used as Secretary of State, was likely hacked by foreign interests any number of times. This carelessness on her part should have gotten her arrested and prosecuted for breaking existing Federal laws.

But the saga of the Clinton misbehaving does not end with the lies and law breaking surrounding her server we discussed in the previous post:

The Judicial Watch watchdog group has continued to gain access to government documents via the Freedom of Information Act.
It recently announced that it had possession of 277 pages of FBI records that prove the FBI hid information related to the illegal Clinton email computer server as requested by the Inspector General.
The FBI claimed that meeting notes are “missing” and conveniently the CD disc containing the notes is likely irreparably “damaged.”
This information from 2015 finally came to light because the Obama administration blocked the release and Judicial Watch had to get a court order for its release.
This effort uncovered the reality that a “Chinese state-owned company” had hacked Clinton’s server and the inspector general referred the investigation to the FBI on July 6, 2015.
Within a month the FBI claimed the notes regarding the investigation had been lost forever.
Which brings us to the lies of Huma Abedin, Clinton’s closest advisor during the time she served as Secretary of State.
We now know that while Abedin had warned people on Clinton’s staff and inner circle that Clinton’s unsecured, illegal server had indeed been hacked, the new Judicial Watch documents show that Abedin lied to the FBI when she told agents that she did not remember any hacking attempts.
According to the head of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton: “The Obama FBI was frantic to target then-candidate Trump while magically losing or destroying important evidence in the sham investigation of Hillary Clinton’s illicit email system. This new information underscores the need for a fresh, unbiased investigation into the Clinton email scandal.”

Lying to the FBI, destroying official government records, getting hacked by Chinese interests, oh yeah, the slime, crime, and abuse from Clinton and her illegal email server go on and on, constantly uncovering the massive corruption that exists in the FBI and throughout the Washington political class.

2) Although we have discussed the disaster in Philadelphia that occurred when the local politicians established the city’s so-called “soda tax,” Warner Todd Huston, writing for the Godfather Politics website on May 21, 2019, brings us up to date on how this effort failed so miserably:

Recall that this soda tax was supposed to raise the cost of soda at stores within the city limits in a lame attempt to curb obesity, the theory being that if soda costs more to buy, consumers would use less of it and would get skinnier.
A side benefit was to bring more tax revenue into the city government.
But the theory backfired since city residents simply went out of the city limits to buy their soda and taking their soda dollars with them resulting in falling soda sales in Philadelphia stores.
In addition, the significant increase in taxes that the city government expected never materialized as planned and forecasted since while the tax on soda was increased 17%, the sales of soda fell by 51% in the city’s limits so raising the tax rate actually reduced tax revenue.
Specifically: “So, let’s look at this assuming one million ounces of soda was sold annually before the tax went into effect. If sales had remained the same, the city would have realized $62,400.00 in revenue instead of $54,300.00. But with the volume cut in half, they managed to slash their revenue to $31,200.00…. Great job, guys. You gutted your revenue stream, caused layoffs in the beverage industry and depressed sales in the city’s retail outlets, likely impacting entry level jobs.”
The sales of bottled water or healthier drinks to replace the use of soda did not increase as hoped so there was no increase in healthier drinking options.
And city stores did not only lose soda sales since when city consumers went out of town to buy soda, they also bought other groceries while they were in the out of city stores, which in turn reduced the overall grocery sales of in city stores.
The local Pepsi plant laid off 100 workers because of the shift in demand out of the city.

This is why every politician needs to take and pass a simple economics course before taking office. By being so economically stupid, the city’s politicians implemented a plan that raised tax rates but reduced tax revenue, caused the city’s economic vitality to shrink, caused more unemployment, reduced the chance of a city kid getting an entry level job,and did nothing to reduce obesity. Insanity.

3) Jim Geraghty, writing for the National Review on May 23, 2019, gave some examples on how hypocritical Democrats and liberal can be when it comes to “building walls:”

Most liberals and Democrats are against building a wall on our southern border to keep out gang members, drug cartel members, illegal drugs, human traffickers, and potential terrorists.
They would prefer that we just let anyone strut across the border, regardless of their intentions. They would prefer to ignore the rule of law as it applies to current, legal ways to get into this country.
Unless those walls are what they desire to keep the less wealthy out of their ultra wealthy neighborhoods:
First off, Farhad Manjppo, who recently wrote a New York Times article on how liberals are in favor of walls when it keeps the poor and needy out of their neighborhoods got a lot of grief from those same wealthy liberals.
His specific words that put him on the wrong side of liberals and Democrats go as follows: “Reading opposition to SB 50 and other efforts at increasing density, I’m struck by an unsettling thought: What Republicans want to do with I.C.E. and border walls, wealthy progressive Democrats are doing with zoning and Nimbyism. Preserving “local character,” maintaining “local control,” keeping housing scarce and inaccessible — the goals of both sides are really the same: to keep people out. We’re saying we welcome immigration, we welcome refugees, we welcome outsiders — but you’ve got to have a $2 million entrance fee to live here, otherwise you can use this part of a sidewalk for a tent,” said Brian Hanlon, president of the pro-density group California Yimby. “That to me is not being very welcoming. It’s not being very neighborly.”
For this honest appraisal he got crucified by liberals.
But this is not the only example of the liberal hypocrisy when it comes to walls.
In liberal and wealthy San Jose, California, 500 local residents showed up at a town meeting when one of the topics of the meeting was a proposal to build some new, low income apartment buildings in the town for lower income Americans citizens.
Those in attendance screamed and shouted at the local politicians holding the meeting and actual broke out in the chant, “Build a wall” to keep those beneath their social status from moving in nearby.

Outrageous liberal hypocrisy. At least when Trump and his supporters talk about building a wall, they are not talking about keeping Americans out, they are talking about protecting the safety of Americans from foreign elements.

That will do it for today’s insanity: liberal hypocrisy in California when it comes to walls, soda tax insanity in Philly, and more and more corruption that pops up on whatever Hillary Clinton touches. More insanity to follow.

June, 2019, Part 2, Political Class Insanity: Congress Wants Even More Pay For Being Useless, Hillary Was Hacked and Stupid Immigration Policies Reign

Let’s get started:

1) Let’s look at some of the biggest problems facing America today:

Medicare going bankrupt.
Medicaid going bankrupt.
Social Security going bankrupt.
$22 trillion national debt and growing.
Public schools that under educate our kids.
Out of control healthcare costs.
Crumbling infrastructure.
Millions of American homeless, hungry, and drug addicted.
Dangerous and unchecked immigration of gang members, drug cartel members, drug runners, and potential terrorists on our southern border.

These are very serious problems affecting every American. And yet the Washington political class, especially those that have been in office for years and decades, have no plan, no will, or no ability to fix any of these problems. These problems get worse and worse as time goes by with Washington politicians more concerned about their perpetual reelection and self enrichment.

Which makes a recent article from Politico all that more disgusting:

Caitlin Emma, writing for Politico on June 4, 2019, points out that Democrats in the House of Representatives are working on a plan to give themselves a $4,500 pay raise despite their utter failure to address and resolve ANY problem facing American today.
Their justification goes as follows: “There is strong bipartisan support for these modest inflation adjustments,” said Evan Hollander, a spokesperson for the House Appropriations Committee, noting that the panel does not have to take action to allow the automatic increases and will simply be forgoing language that would block the raises.
In other words, they will get sneaky about it since they have rigged the system on the pay raises to happen automatically without public debate or voting by Congress.
Although they current earn $174,000 a year, about three times what the normal America household earns, they still want a 2.6% increase.
So far only one Washington politician to my knowledge has spoken out and said what most Americans are thinking, Senator Richard Shelby: “I think the American people would think that Congress ought to earn it first.”

Thank you Senator Shelby, they should have to earn any pay raise first. This is what we proposed in our book, “Love My Country, Loathe My Government,” under Step 37 which reads as follows: “Base pay increases for Congressional members on an annual customer satisfaction rating and repeal the practice of automatically increasing Congressional pay without a public, Congressional vote.”

Most of us who work outside of Congress are probably subjected to such a merit based system already: perform your job well and add value to your organization, get rewarded with bonuses and pay raises. Perform your job poorly and do not get rewarded.

Unfortunately, Washington politicians do not see it this way and end up getting highly paid with outstanding life long benefits for failure. Never have so many accomplished so little for so long and been paid so well.

2) Speaking of accomplishing so little, consider the sad state of our failed immigration system:

If you are caught illegally entering this country, you are arrested and go before an immigration judge.
The judge will issue a warrant that requires you to come back to the immigration court at a future date to have your immigration status decided.
It turns out this process is so stupid since 87% of illegal immigrants that were first detained and then released into the U.S. population until their asylum hearing never show up for those asylum hearings and are now roaming the country illegally.
This was the finding of a recent study by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Department of Justice organizations.
Adding insult to injury, during this time, illegal immigrants are often issued work permits that allow them to be employed despite their illegal activities, robbing citizen Americans of job opportunities.
In addition, by releasing them into society and having an 87% no show rate for their hearings, additional taxpayer funds need to be expended to find them and deport them.

This ridiculous process is another example of Washington being out of step with the country’s wishes since, according to a recent Harvard-Harris poll, about two out of three Americans are against this catch and release program of illegal immigrants. Insanity.

3) Hillary Clinton assured us that her private, unsecured, and illegal email computer server was nothing more than a place for private family emails, recipes, and other harmless material and that it was not subject to secrecy requirements of being hacked. But, as with her many other lies, this one was nothing more than B.S. from a Washington political type:

According to the Washington Times, Clinton’s email server was not secure and was hacked and government documents were violated.
Recently released FBI documents prove that her illegal server was hacked at least by one hacker and the information that was obtained ended up on the Dark Web, a nefarious virtual place of shady dealings and illegal activities.
A Romanian hacker that goes by the name “Guccifer” breached a computer server used by long time Clinton cohort Sidney Blumenthal that allowed Guccifer to hack into Hillary’s illegal computer server.
This initial hack gathered information from Clinton’s computer and transferred it to a computer located outside of Bucharest, Romania.
The FBI documents show that multiple subsequent hacks of her illegal computer also occurred beginning on May 22, 2009.
It appears that Guccifer used an anonymous computer server in Russia to carry his hacks and there was a “high possibility” that Russian officials had access to these computers and any information from the Clinton computer hack that was on that Russian computer.
At least one file taken from the illegal Clinton computer server ended up on the dark web and has been described as containing “targeting data,” that would usually require the highest level of government security: “If it is determined by the by the FBI that this file ever was overtly classified, it will serve as a potential ‘smoking gun document.'” the notes said,” as described by the FBI documents investigating the hack."
Moreover: “This file represents a major loss to the Intelligence Community because it appears to be targeting data.”
Guccifer appears to have hacked a number of different computer networks and 37,000 files were found on a computer traced back to him.

And this lady wanted to be President of the United States. Imagine how much damage she would have done if elected, her careless and lawless handling of information as Secretary of State was bad enough but being President would have taken her carelessness and chutzpah to new, dangerous heights for the country and its citizens.

And yet, she is still not in prison for knowingly violating a very serious Federal law regarding the handling of top secret information. One must wonder what national security damage and what lives may have been lost of our operatives based on her stupidity. Insanity.

That will do it for today’s insanity: Clinton gets hacked and top secret information is stolen and shared with the world, idiotic immigration rules and regulations, and greedy Washington politicians. Typical political class insanity, more to follow.

June, 2019, Part 1, Political Class Insanity: Political Corruption in Minnesota and Washington and New Zealand Citizens Tell Their Government To Shove It,

Let’s get started:

1) Elijah Cummings is a long term member of Congress. He has been one of the more vocal Democratic opponents of Trump, opponents who want Trump impeached for simply not liking him. But Cummings may want to idle back his public exposure, given the financial hanky panky that his wife may have been involved in, as discussed in a recent article by Madison Dibble on the Independent Journal Review website:

Cummings wife, Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, has been under pressure regarding alleged unethical and/or illegal behavior.
It may turn out that she mingled two businesses that she oversaw, a consulting firm and a nonprofit.
According to the article, “Rockeymoore Cummings’ for-profit consulting firm, Global Policy Solutions LLC, was paid more than $250,000 by her charity, the Center for Global Policy Solutions.”
Apparently between 2013 and 2015, the nonprofit charity paid her consulting firm “management fees” that totalled over $250,000.
Interestingly, both organizations share the same address.
Her nonprofit is facing an IRS complaint that has been filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, that alleges she is using the charity for her personal benefit.
The IRS complaint involves a Federal government contract that her consulting firm landed to oversee the “Leadership For Healthy Communities” in 2017, an effort that had the nonprofit listed as the “national program office.”
The IRS concern is that the nonprofit is money laundering money for her personal use.
Oh, by the way, certain organizations have contributed to the nonprofit, the same companies that have business interests that could be impacted by actions that Cummings takes as the chairman of the powerful House of Representatives Oversight committee.
According to the article: “When a powerful chairman of a committee of the House of Representatives has a wife that is bringing in money from entities with interests before his Committee and she is not providing the transparency mandated by the IRS, there’s a serious problem.”

If true, this is political corruption of the highest degree but not unheard of in Washington. Many times we have run across situation where an elected official uses their government position to benefit a relative, spouse, or child (e.g. Congresswoman Maxine Walters and her daughter, Senator Diane Feinstein and her husband). Which is why nothing ever gets accomplished by D.C politicians, they are too busy enriching themselves.

2) Many Democrats and liberals in this country want to violate the Constitution and greatly restrict the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights, the rights of Americans to bear arms to protect themselves, their families, and their freedom. They want to do so despite research and evidence that shows armed Americans make for a safer America. Which implies in my mind that, as always, they do not care about us, they only care about power and dominance.

Thus, it was refreshing to find out what happened in New Zealand when that country’s politicians tried to confiscate that country’s weapons from its citizens that legally owned guns under the current laws of New Zealand. Matt Agorist, writing for the Freedom Outpost website on June 7, 2019 explains:

A few months ago New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that certain efforts would be made to confiscate certain guns of the citizens in that country.
This was in response to a mass shooting that had occurred in that country on March 15, which was carried out by a lone gunman who killed dozens of people.
According to Ardern: “On 15 March, our history changed forever. Now, our laws will too. We are announcing action today on behalf of all New Zealanders to strengthen our gun laws and make our country a safer place. What we’re banning today are the things used in last Friday’s attack. It’s about all of us, it’s in the national interest and it’s about safety.”
But things did not go as planned since, as reported by the NZ Herald, citizens feel safer by holding onto their guns and not abdicating their responsibility for their own safety to the government.
As a result, of the 250,000 New Zealanders that own the type of weapon that was banned, owning about 300,000 of the banned semi-automatic weapons, only 530 guns that have been banned have been turned over to the government.
This comes out to about a .18% compliance rate, not 18%, not 1.8%, .18%.
Government officials tried to explain away the non-compliance by saying that gun owners wanted more compensation from the government before voluntarily giving up their weapons.
But let’s be honest, it is hardly plausible that 99.82% of gun owners were just waiting for a few more dollars but really were telling the government hands off their rights to have these types of weapons to protect themselves and their families.

This is another example of idiotic thinking by politicians. The only people who will lose in this type of confiscation mentality are innocent, law abiding citizens who have now been disarmed and left vulnerable to wacko criminals and terrorists. The wackos and terrorists are not going to give up their weapons, by definition they are wackos and terrorists.

And taking guns from law abiding citizens does not attack the root cause of gun violence. England found that out. They confiscated guns from law abiding citizens who are now being attacked by knife wielding criminals, wackos, and terrorists. This has led the politicians to put into effect an inane knife confiscation and control program.

Kudos to the good people of New Zealand who have the courage and foresight to ignore another idiotic program from their political class. The article sums up the insanity very nicely: "The protectionist attitude of taking guns from law abiding citizens to keep guns from criminals is ineffective, self-serving, one-sided and ignores the benefits of an armed society as well as history.

And, it only serves to further the oppression of those who cannot defend themselves. While it would certainly be an amazing thought to be able to live in a world without guns, that is simply not the case. Until it is the case, anyone who wants to defend themselves and their family, should be able to do so in any manner they see fit — as the only other option is tyranny.”

3) Ilhan Omar is a first term Congresswoman from Minnesota. Although she just came into office this past January, it appears she has not wasted any time fitting in to the lawless and corrupt attitude and culture that is the American political class, as outlined in a recent article on the Patriot Brief website:

This past week the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board ruled that Omar had committed campaign finance violations back in Minnesota.
The board found that when Omar was a local politician back in Minnesota she used campaign money to fund her tax returns and pay for travel that did not involve her work duties.
She has to pay back the money she abused and pay a measly additional fine of $500.
Specifically: “Rep. Omar must personally reimburse the Omar committee $3,469.23. This reimbursement payment is the total amount of campaign funds that were used for purposes not permitted by statute in 2016 and 2017. Rep. Omar must provide documentation within 30 days from the date of this order showing the deposit of the reimbursement into the Omar committee’s account.”
The board’s investigation also may have uncovered a reality that she has filed up to eight years of fraudulent Federal tax returns which could merit an IRS investigation.

The hypocrisy of the Democrats, and mainstream media, in Washington’s political class is very interesting in this case. While they clamor for a look at Trump’s tax returns for no other reason than an impeachment fishing expedition, they completely ignore the findings of the election board up in Minnesota who found one of their own guilty of campaign crimes and quite possibly serious IRS violations. Their silence is deafening.

That starts off this month’s political class insanity stream: illegal campaign fund mischief in Minnesota, hypocrisy in Washington, Congressional money laundering with a wife, and citizens in New Zealand tell their political class to shove it. More insanity to follow.
