The Failing Biden Presidency - Part 2

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

To review past posts on this insanity and idiocy, just click on the first few posts in each month listed to the right of this page. After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) Today’s post is going to be mostly focused on the cognitive and moral decline of Joe Biden. Everyone has a slip of the tongue or a slip of the mind occasionally but when it happens so often and it happens in the presence of other symptoms, then eventually one has to reach the conclusion that he is in the throes of a cognitive decline caused by unknown causes at this point in time.

And these slips are not recent, they extend back into the middle of 2020 and the Presidential race. In fact, we made the case that his wife, his family and his political handlers were guilty of elder abuse to put him through the rigors of a Presidential campaign.

1) In World War II there was a group of brave airmen known as the Tuskegee Airmen. This group of aviators were an all Black aviation group who distinguished themselves many times during the war with their bravery and heroics.

Completely independent of this group was a heinous Federal government medical experiment that ran from 1932 to 1972. This disgusting experiment purposely infected young black males with syphilis to see what the impact would be to these young men’s health. This experiment was also done in Tuskegee.

Two completely different situations that just happened in the same geographic area. But somehow Biden, managed to combine these two situations into one confused statement:

• Biden was being interviewed on YouTube in an effort to get more people covid vaccinated.
• This is an especially valid thing to do since there has been resistance among the black community in trusting the Federal government doing the right thing.
• But even this simple public relations effort was too much for Biden to pull off.
• During an interview, he showed that he did not know the difference between the heroic and famous Tuskegee Airmen of World War II and the racist 1930s Tuskegee experiment: “By the way, many of the older members of that community had memories of experimentation on black Americans that were not told about, like what happened, with the, you know, Tuskegee airmen and all those tests. And so there was a great reluctance.”

Seriously, how does one with any kind of education get these two things so mixed up that they combine into one historic piece of misinformation two separate pieces of history? Is his cognitive decline that bad or was he just ignorant of history? In either case, not a good luck from a leadership perspective. Either way, Biden looks like a fool.

2) Biden has told a whole bunch of outright lies over the years, lies we listed out in the following post:

• In that post we also went through the numerous racist comments and actions Biden has executed over the years.
• He was recently at it again when he falsely and viciously accused Trump of being a racist based on no evidence at all, continuing his history of racism and lying:
• In a recent interview Biden accused Trump of being a racist who campaigned on the concept and rhetoric that African-Americans were taking jobs away from other Americans.
• As always with his lies, he provided no proof or evidence that such a reality existed except in his own mind.
• He claimed Trump is a racist who was trying to appeal to other American racists to get their vote.
• Specifically: “The people who built the country are the people who are all being left behind. When that happens, and you don’t have a counter-voice to the reason you lost your job is because of an immigrant; the reason you lost that job is because those black folks are taking your job — it opens up the door to the Charlottesvilles of the world.”

But this is all more Biden fantasy. Consider some real data from the Washington Examiner: “The share of Trump voters who were women or people of color in last year’s election was 57.2%, up from 54.8% in 2016… The former president also increased his support among all racial demographics in 2020, with the exception of white men, making a 7-point gain among nonwhite women, a 4-point gain with nonwhite men, a 1-point gain with white women, and a 1-point loss among white men. …Black voter support also saw a substantial increase in last year’s election, with the group swinging 3 points toward Trump compared to 2016.”

Trump also gained 8 points in the Latino vote in 2020 vs. 2016. Biden als failed to mention that during the Trump administration, Latino, Black, and women unemployment rates got close to or set new historic lows.

So is Biden saying Trump is a racist who dared to get minorities good paying jobs like never seen before which resulted in Trump seeing significant improvements in voting preference from all types of minorities? If that is what a racist does then maybe we need more of that type of racism.

3) Biden has lied across a full spectrum of areas and topics as outlined in the post listed above. And now another, serious lie is coming out relative to his son, Hunter Biden:

• Hunter Biden has been involved in a lot of shady financial dealings around the world which often involved using his Vice President father as leverage.
• Hunter has especially been active in various components of the energy industry, from dealings in the Ukraine to China.
• Joe Biden has constantly denied he was ever involved in any aspect of Hunter's shady international energy dealings.
• But the New York Post says that may not be the case.
• Specifically: “Joe Biden met with Ukrainian, Russian and Kazakhstani business associates of his son’s at a dinner in Washington, DC, while he was vice president, records on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop show. The dinner, on April 16, 2015, was held in the private ‘Garden Room’ at Café Milano, a Georgetown institution whose catchphrase is: ‘Where the world’s most powerful people go,’ according to the report. The next day, Hunter received an email from Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, to thank him for introducing him to his father.”
• The letter read as follows: “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together,” Pozharskyi wrote in an email dated April 17, 2015. “It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” Pozhaskyi added."
• At the time, Bursima was paying Hunter over $83,000 a MONTH to sit on its board of directors even though he had virtually no experience in the energy field.
• The Post article goes on to list out some of the shady characters Hunter was dealing with: “The guest list prepared by Hunter three weeks before the Café Milano dinner included Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina and her husband, corrupt former Moscow mayor Yury Luzhkov, who since has died. Baturina wired $3.5 million on Feb. 14, 2014, to Rosemont Seneca Thornton LLC, a Delaware-based investment firm co-founded by Hunter and Devon Archer, a former adviser to Secretary of State John Kerry.”
• In October, 2020, an email was found that indicated that Joe Biden was actually getting a cut of the money flowing to Hunter from international entities: “One email, dated May 13, 2017, and obtained by Fox News, includes a discussion of ‘remuneration packages’ for six people in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm. The email appeared to identify Hunter Biden as ‘Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,’ in an apparent reference to now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co. The email includes a note that ‘Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate’,” the report continued. “A proposed equity split references ’20’ for ‘H’ and ’10 held by H for the big guy?’ with no further details. Fox News spoke to one of the people who was copied on the email, who confirmed its authenticity.”

Corruption, lying, and financial kickbacks, not the qualities you want in a President. And who knows what dirt, gossip, and illegal acts these foreigners are using to blackmail Biden now that he is President. Given that Biden just removed sanctions that will now allow the Russians to build a pipeline of oil into Europe, after Trump shut it down, is a potential indicator that Biden is compromised despite his lies to the contrary.

A compromised President, a lying, racism spewing President, a confused President. It is going to be a bumpy Presidential ride….and one that does not end well.

The Failing Biden Presidency, Part 1

1) Today’s post is going to be mostly focused on the cognitive decline of Joe Biden. And now, we have a President who I feel sorry for but who has endangered the country, its citizens, and its freedoms with his continuing mental decline:

• At a recent White House Medal Of Honor ceremony, Biden was honoring  the bravery that came from retired Korean War Army veteran, Ralph Puckett.

• Present at the ceremony was South Korean President, Moon Jae-in, obviously a high ranking member of an important ally.

• Biden said that Puckett, his men, and the “people of the Republic of Korea have never forgotten” his bravery, “as evident by the fact that the Prime Minister of Korea is here for this ceremony. I doubt this has happened before. I can’t say that for certain, but I doubt this has happened before.”

• The problem is that the Prime Minister of Korea was not present, the President of South Korea was present.

• The Prime MInister was back in Korea, half a world away,

Again, we all screw up once in a while but Biden continues to make statements and spout misinformation all the time. This time he embarrassed an important ally by not knowing who was actually standing next to him.

2)As most know, Biden has created a drug cartel, criminal gang, sex trafficking, and illegal immigration humanitarian disaster at our southern border. Massive amounts of drugs are flowing into the country along with massive numbers of illegal immigrants which is straining the authorities’ ability to feed, house, and prevent the crime that comes with such a disaster.

Millions of people are being  impacted by this crisis. It should be a top priority of Biden and his administration. Unfortunately, consider this hapless and shallow response to a legitimate question from a reporter to Biden about the border crisis:

• Reporter:  "Did you receive a briefing about the border today?"

• Biden: “Yes.”

• Reporter: “What did you learn?”

• Biden: “A lot.”

At which point, an aide whisked Biden out and away from the reporters. This type of nonsense and shallowness does not give one a good feeling that anyone is in charge.

3)If the illegal immigration disaster is the top problem facing our country, then the fighting between the Israelis and the PLO over in the Middle East is likely the top disaster on a world wide basis. One would think and hope that the President of the United States, the leader of the free world, would take the situation seriously.

But to think and hope that Biden takes this seriously would not be a good bet:

• Biden was recently in Detroit where they actually put him behind the wheel of Ford’s soon to be released all electric pickup truck.

• They then paraded him out in front of the press for an obviously shallow photo op.

• A reporter that cared more about people getting killed than a Biden photo op asked the President, while he was seated behind the steering wheel of the truck,  “A quick question on Israel...since it is so important?”

• To which Bien replied, “No, you can’t. Not unless you get in front of the car as I step on it.”

So many things wrong with this situation:

• It was a legitimate question, it deserved a legitimate response.

• People are dying over there in Gaza and Israel, it was not a time to kid around.

• And threatening to run down a member of the press is not Presidential at all, not adult/mature at all.

• “While America’s most important Middle East ally is under attack, Joe Biden threatened to run over a reporter for asking a question about it,” National Republican Senatorial Committee campaign worker Jonathan Turcotte said,

After even the left leaning press expressed tepid concern about such a threat, Biden claimed he was only kidding. Which really frames the problem: people are dying, the press wants answers and he is kidding around. Not very Presidential. By the way, he never answered the question, quickly speeding off in the truck.

As a side note, how violently would the mainstream media have reacted if Trump threatened to run over a member of the press, even if he was kidding? Just another side example of how biased and corrupt journalism has become in this country.

4) The country is about to get hit hard, very hard with economic inflation that will make just about everything more expensive from a cost of living perspective:

• Gas prices have risen significantly since Biden became President and with Saudi Arabia looking to cut their daily production, gas prices will probably go even higher in the coming months.

• The cost of lumber and many other essential things for life have also risen because of the Fed’s insanely low interest rates and the Federal government’s insanely out of control deficit spending.

• Peter Schiff, the chief economist and global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, told the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF), “People are going to be paying higher insurance, they’re going to be paying higher property taxes, local tax, utility rates are going to go way up. The 100% cause of inflation is the government … It’s when the government spends money that it doesn’t collect in taxes and then the Federal Reserve monetizes the resulting deficits by printing money.”

• Henry Olsen, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and a columnist at The Washington Post, also told the DCNF, “in the short term, consumers can expect to see rising prices across the board. I expect in the next few months people will be getting sticker shocked in virtually all aspects of their life.”

Gas prices up, lumber prices up, taxes up, utilities prices up, etc. A critical crisis that will affect every American. But when asked about inflation by a reporter at a news conference, “should Americans be worried about inflation, sir?” Biden simply turned and walked away. Did not address this critical issue, ignored the question and simply walked away. 

Again, he does not generate any kind of confidence that he has a clue what he is doing, what he should be doing and has the ability to understand and resolve the problems facing the country.

Inflation on the rise, humanitarian crisis on the border, Middle East violently imploding, and Biden not knowing who is standing next to him. Through it all Biden seems to have no clue what is going on and how to fix the problems. Much like his cognitive decline, the state of the country is not looking any brighter either.

May, 2021, Part 7,Political Class Insanity: Another Washington Law Breaker Avoids Jail, Karma For a Rochester Politician, and The Political Class Blows The Pandemic Crisis

Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) Possibly at some distant point in the past, Washington politicians and bureaucrats were focused on honestly doing their jobs and helping Americans. Seems like a long time ago, given today’s poisonous political atmosphere and the reality another Senate staffer has been found guilty of crimes:

• A second member on the staff of Senator Maggie Hassan has been found guilty of hacking government computers for political gain.
• The staffer, Samantha DeForest-Dave, assisted another Senate staffer, Jackson Cosko, in breaking into the Senator’s office where they hacked Congressional computers.
• The result of that hack was to download the addresses of Republican Senators and then make that information public, endangering the lives of those Senators and their families.
• Jackson has already pleaded guilty and is serving four years in a Federal prison.
• Apparently, he was angry because Brett Kavanaugh was being confirmed to the Supreme Court so, of course, endangering the lives of others was a rational reaction.
• DeForest-Dave initially lied to police investigators about providing keys to Cosko to get access to the Senator’s offices.
• According to Courthouse News: “After Hassan fired him in May 2018, Cosko lent Deforest-Davis money for her rent but requested a favor in return. That summer, spurred by anger over Kavanaugh’s Senate confirmation hearings, Cosko repeatedly used Deforest-Davis’ keys to access the senator’s office after hours and hack the congressional computers.”
• He then published addresses and phone numbers of Congressional Republicans on Wikipedia and Twitter.

Nasty and dangerous stuff but like most lawbreakers in Washington, she got no prison time, just a suspended sentence, 200 hours of community service, and two years of probation. Imagine what would have happened to us if you or I facilitated a hack into a restricted Federal computer system, downloaded secret information, and then published that information, endangering lives. Doubtful we would have avoided prison time.

2) As we have pointed out so many times in this blog, politicians talk a good game but often fall short of their own espoused ideals and goals:

• Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot shut down almost all small businesses in Chicago during the pandemic but forced her own hair salon to open to get her hair done while the rest of the city residents could not get that luxury.
• The Beaumont, Texas mayor did a similar antic, forcing her nail salon to open to get her nails done while forcing the rest of the city to stay shut down, the need for nails to be done by ordinary citizens be damned.
• The governor of California forced all of his millions of residents to wear masks during the pandemic while he partied and frolicked at a high end French restaurant with friends and supporters who did not wear masks.
• The governor of Michigan restricted travel in and out of her state during the pandemic but treated herself to a private vacation in Florida, to the tune of a $26,000 airfare cost, while her residents were stuck back at home.

Yes, the hypocrisy of the American political class often knows no limits. But every once in a while one of them gets hit up the side of the head with hypocrisy karma for their pompousness:

• Rochester, New York mayor, Lovely Warren, has a history of wanting to get guns off of the streets of her city.
• She has supported state laws that probably violate citizens’ Second Amendment rights and was all excited about a gun buyback plan her police force executed.
• She recently claimed that “getting guns off our streets must be a priority.”
• Specifically: "That’s why I’m glad our police department is partnering with the Attorney General’s Office and our churches to host a gun buy-back event next week. I know Chief Herriott-Sullivan and her team are working with their partners in law enforcement to stop the flow of illegal guns into our city. We must continue working together with our citizens to take these guns off our streets so our residents can feel safe in their neighborhoods and live the lives they deserve.”
• Certainly her right to have this opinion and the position it would help protect her citizens, a primary function of her office.
• But while she was out pontificating about getting illegal guns off of the street, it turns out she has illegal guns in her own home.
• When the New York State Police recently raided her home they found her husband, Timothy Granison, in possession of 31 grams of cocaine and in possession of a firearm.
• The firearm was illegally in his possession because of a conviction he received for armed robbery 24 years ago, a conviction that voided his right to be in possession of a weapon, which makes it an illegal gun, the kind his wife is campaigning against.
• He was arrested with seven other folks as part of an ongoing illegal drug investigation.
• The investigation executed seven searches including the Mayor’s home where, in total, they found two kilos of powder and crack cocaine, four guns including a semi-automatic rifle, and over $100,000 in cash.
• The rifle was found at the mayor's home.

Looks like the mayor should have cleaned up her own illegal gun act before trying to clean up the city’s gun population. The Zerohedge website summed up the mayor’s predicament quite nicely: “Well, I suppose the good news for Warren is that there are two fewer guns in Rochester today. Too bad for her that they were seized from her own home. I wonder if Warren is still big on ensuring that there are consequences for possessing a gun illegally in the city she oversees, or if she’s suddenly had a change of heart over the past 24 hours.”

Karma can be a bitch.

3) Warner Tood Huston recently did an online article about how many of the policies and lockdowns that the American political class forced on us all made the super rich even richer, helped make the politically connected richer, and had dire consequences for the rest of us, consequences that in many cases were worse than anything the virus could have done:

• According to Huston, the pandemic saw a bunch of power and money end up with the “overclass” of politicians, corporate managers, and government bureaucrats.
• Small businesses were forced to shut down, many never to reopen again, while big, corporate businesses got themselves deemed “essential” and thrived.
• High paid white collar workers got to work at home while others were forced into low paying delivery jobs, think Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.
• The national debt exploded which will force EVERYONE to pay higher taxes down the road, hitting the lower economic strata especially hard.
• Politicians often exceeded and abused their lawful duties and responsibilities.
• While the Chinese Communist Party used the cover of the pandemic and lockdowns to crush a righteous rebellion in Hong Kong, American politicians took similar actions.
• Americans who protested the draconian and often illegal lockdowns and other political orders were called granny killers while others, whose political leanings were in line with sitting politicians, were allowed to do anything they wanted without consequences.
• For example, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio allowed a massive Black Lives Matter protest while ensuring that the gates to a Jewish playground were welded shut.
• States with draconian lockdowns and dictatorial political leaders were not healthier, and in many cases were less healthy, than states and cities that used more common sense in their pandemic reactions.
• But that reality, realized early on, did nothing to change the often heartless and senseless lockdown rules of the stricter states and cities.
• According to an analysis by the American Institute for Economic research, the lockdowns did more public health harm than good: businesses died, causing economic hardship and stress on individuals and families, mental health problems cases exploded, people opted out of routine and elective medical procedures such as cancer screenings with the obvious long term negative consequences yet to be realized, child and spousal abuse rates climbed and kids basically lost a year of schooling, with, again, long term consequences yet to be realized.
• And while the country suffered, no politician, no government bureaucrat, no teacher union member lost a dollar in salary or compensation.

Look, the situation was challenging to say the least. Early on, no one knew what the virus consequences would be, how deadly the virus would be or not be, what was the best way to combat the virus, etc. But as time wore on, it became obvious what was working and what was not working: common sense from some states and cities that trusted their citizens to do the right thing voluntarily and produced procedures and guidelines that were based on common sense and the best info at the time.

At the same time, there were those local and state politicians that just went on a power ego trip and acted like the Chinese Communist party in Hong Kong: do it our way or else there would be dire consequences regardless of how stupid, and hypocritical our policies and ourselves are. As a result, economic disasters, business disasters and closures, unneeded alternative health issues, both physical and mental, and so much more.

As always, most American politicians approach every problem with a hammer when maybe a little more precision and elegance could be used to not make life so hard for regular Americans. And in the process protect our freedom to live our life as we see fit, not as some dictatorial governor or mayor sees fit.

That will do it for today: ego driven, power hungry politicians whose decisions were not optimal, a Rochester politician gets a brutal dose of karma, and another Washington lawbreaker gets off with basically no penalty.

May, 2021, Part 6, Political Class Insanity: The Pettiness, Profanity and Vanity of Kamala Harris, Lori Lightfoot, and The Biden Family

Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

1) Today will have a focus on the pettiness, pompousness, and child-like behaviors of members of the American political class. Rather than being leaders, behaving like adults and displaying integrity they are often little more than trivial, petty people:

• According to an article in The Atlantic,Vice president Kamala Harris maintains a list of media people and reporters who she deems as racist or who, in her opinion, do not appreciate or understand her life experience.
• She often declines to be interviewed by people on her “list.”
• The article says that, "The vice president and her team tend to dismiss reporters. Trying to get her to take a few questions after events is treated as an act of impish aggression. And Harris herself tracks political players and reporters whom she thinks don't fully understand her or appreciate her life experience."
• The article talks about how Harris often refers back to a Washington Post reporter who mistook the cheer of the historic black sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, as “screeches.”
• She is also not happy with Vogue magazine who did not use the photo she wanted used on the cover of an issue of Vogue.
• The article also says that Harris also monitors and tracks the words that reporters use to describe her: "She particularly doesn't like the word cautious, and aides look out for synonyms, too. Careful, guarded, and hesitant don't go over well."
• The article also reports that Harris’ aides are amazed that it takes so much work to brief her on certain policy issues or improve her interpersonal skills with reporters.
• She comes off as so off putting that, "At times, she comes off as so uninteresting that television producers have started to wonder whether spending thousands of dollars to send people on trips with her is worthwhile, given how little usable material they get out of it.”

When the mainstream, left leaning, Democratic loving mainstream media has nothing good to say about a Democrat you know there is a serious problem. Given that Harris was assigned the critical job of filing the major problems at the southern border that Biden created, and two months into that assignment she has not even visited the border, we now know that maybe her vanity and despising and tracking of reporters takes up too much of her time to fix a real issue facing Americans. Bad, bad priorities.

2) Lori Lightfoot is the current mayor of Chicago. During her tenure:

• The already high levels of violence, shootings and murders have gone even higher under her leadership.
• She defunded the city police force which has caused all kinds of crime to grow.
• As crime and BLM riots increased, residents and businesses have been fleeing the city, so much so that Lightfoot had to meet and plead with businesses to not abandon the city.
• In a typical act of hypocrisy, she forced her hair salon to open in the dire early days of the pandemic while making sure that no other hair salon could open and no one else but her in the city could get their hair done.

But none of these failures can compare with her latest childish, racist, and petty outburst and behavior:

• She recently sent out an official mayoral communication to the Chicago press corps where she announced that she would no longer be giving interviews to white reporters, only Hispanic and black reporters would get access to her.
• While Kamala Harris was just plain petty and vain when tracking which reporters said bad things about her, Lightfoot has gone full racist and will use race to determine who gets access to her.
• Specifically: “In looking at the absence of diversity across the City Hall press corps and other newsrooms, sadly it does not appear that many of the media institutions in Chicago have caught on and truly have not embraced this moment. I have been struck since my first day on the campaign trail back in 2018 by the overwhelming whiteness and maleness of Chicago media outlets, editorial boards, the political press corps, and yes, the City Hall press corps specifically.”
• She also specifically referred to the “overwhelming whiteness and maleness” of the Chicago press.
• She had previously accused the Chicago press corps of “institutionalized racism.”
• In a final insult she admitted that the press corps reporters were able and skilled but needed to be punished because, almost solely, they were white: “Many of them are smart and hard-working, savvy and skilled. But mostly white, nonetheless.”

Cannot get much more racist than that, depriving people the ability to do their job not because those people were incompetent but because they were born white. If a white mayor had said they were only going to be interviewed by white reporters, the uproar in the media and left leaning mindsets would have been deafening. Insane.

3) We have previously documented the racist words and actions of Joe Biden, as witnessed by the following Biden quotes:

• “Jeez, the reason I was able to stay sequestered in my home is because some black woman was able to stack the grocery shelf.”
• "Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point."
• “If you are African-American and you vote for the other guy “you ain’t black.””
• “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
• Using a bad Indian accent, Biden once claimed that “you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
• "And by the way, what you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”
• Regarding busing and school desegregation, Biden once boasted "we [Delawareans] were on the South's side in the Civil War."
• Regarding his good relations with segregationists in the Senate: "I was in a caucus with James O. Eastland. He never called me 'boy,' he always called me 'son’. Well guess what? At least there was some civility. We got things done. We didn't agree on much of anything. We got things done. We got it finished."
• Biden was described by Alveda King, Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece, as “One thing that Biden does, he wants to say he is helping the black farmers. No, he is not. He has suppressed everybody … putting our people in jail, saying our young men were predators and all of that.”

Thus, his history of saying some pretty racist things is not debatable. Which is probably why, during the 2020 Democratic primary debates, Kamala Harris, a biracial female Senator, accused Biden of being a racist. Based on Biden’s quotes above, Harris not only had a valid reason for going after him on the topic but strategically was a great debate point.

But Jill Biden, Joe Biden’s wife, had a different and profane take on Harris’ debate strategy:

• According to a new book by Edward-Isaac Dovere, Jill Biden profanely cursed Harris after the debate by saying Harris should “go f*#@ yourself.”
• In a call with supporters after the debate, Jill Biden claimed: "With what he cares about, what he fights for, what he's committed to, you get up there and call him a racist without basis? Go f--- yourself."
• Her press secretary did not deny the story: "Many books will be written on the 2020 campaign, with countless retellings of events — some accurate, some inaccurate. The First Lady and her team do not plan to comment on any of them."
• Jill Biden also did not deny she dropped the f-bomb in public claiming it was time to look ahead and not back.
• But Jill apparently is not the only Biden who drops f-bombs.
• According to the book, after the debate ended where Harris went after Biden’s racist comments in the past, Joe Biden turned to another candidate, Pete Buttigieg and stated, "Well, that was some f---ing bullshit."

Great, a potty mouthed President and First Lady. Given more recent news reports that Joe Biden regularly has expletive filled rants against staff members, not surprising that both he and his wife are into some pretty despicable language and attitudes against those they disagree with.

Thus, three more examples of how trivial, petty, and childish our political class members are: a Vice President more concerned about what others write about her than doing her job, a big city mayor who has decided in the most racist manner possible that people born white, no matter how capable, do not deserve any of her attention, and a Presidential f-bomb dropping First Family. Class acts, all of them...not.

May, 2021, Part 5, Political Class Insanity: de Blasio Reverses Course, Biden Appointee Breaks the Law Without Consequences, Crisis On The Border and More

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

To review past posts on this insanity and idiocy, just click on the first few posts in each month listed to the right of this page. After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) In our previous post, we discussed the reality that city politicians across the country erred so fatally when they decided to defund their police forces as a result of the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis. As a result, their police forces were given fewer resources to combat crime. This has led to more crime and to manpower shortages as police officers leave the force because of their hindered ability to do their jobs, because of less resources and verbal abuse and disrespect they received from city politicians.

Unfortunately, this short sighted defund the police movement has led to an explosion in urban crime and the deaths of unknown numbers of city residents. Nowhere was this defund the police rhetoric and action more obvious than in New York City. NYC’s mayor, Bill de Blasio has shown probably more contempt for his police force than in any other city in the country. He has berated them, belittled them, and has significantly defunded their budgets, all of which has led to an explosion in crime in his city like never seen in recent decades.

Now, all of a sudden, after the damage has been done, citizens have been killed mauled, and robbed, he finally sees how stupid his actions were:

• After threatening to cut the NYPD annual budget by about $1.5 billion, he is now crowing about how a new, $105 million NYPD precinct building for Queens is going forward AFTER he eliminated the project last year in the fever of defund the police hysteria.
• In a kiss up to Black Lives Matter and such, de Blasio proposed that a community center be built on the location and not a new NYPD police precinct.
• He proposed this community center despite the fact that the mostly black residents of the neighborhood desperately wanted more police presence since they were ones bearing the brunt of the local criminal elements.
• Another example of politicians kowtowing to the media and the more vocal demands of a minority set of voices. Unfortunately delaying the start of this effort probably resulted in more crime and more suffering of local residents, a secondary concern of a mayor and city political class who were more concerned about form and media preening than substance and providing a basic government service, protecting the lives of their constituents.

In other words, Nero fiddled while Rome burned, de Blasio fiddled around while NYC burned with increased crime.

2) The Hatch Act is a very good Federal Government law in that it prohibits government officials from promoting political candidates and causes when in their official government capacity. This helps prevent government resources and pressure from impacting political races and actions.

Unfortunately, it is rarely used to actually punish those that violate the letter and spirit of the law. A great example of this was when Kathleen Sebelius, a Cabinet member under Obama, endorsed a Democrat for lieutenant governor of North Carolina.

The Office of Special Counsel said she made the political remarks in her capacity as a federal employee and thus violated the Hatch Act. Of course, as what usually happens with members of the American political class when they violate existing laws, nothing happened because of her law breaking.

And now Biden has a similar problem and another Hatch Act violation:

• According to Politico, the office of Special Counsel has determined that HUD leader Marcia Fudge did indeed violate the Hatch Act when she expressed an opinion on an Ohio Senate race while acting in her official government role.
• The violation occurred during an official government press conference when Fudge was asked by a reporter about possible Senate candidates in her home state of Ohio.
• She mentioned that friends of hers, Tim Ryan and Nan Whaley, might be in the running for the Senate seat.
• Since then, both people have made moves to actually enter the race for the Senate.
• Of course, she later apologized for her remarks AFTER she got caught violating the Hatch Act: “I acknowledge that I should have stuck with my first instinct and not answered the question. I take these things seriously and I want to assure the American people that I am focused on meeting the needs of our country.”
• Ana Galindo-Marrone, the chief of Office of Special Counsel’s Hatch Act Unit, released a letter late last week summarizing the office’s findings: “By stating, for example, that ‘we have a good shot at it’ and ‘I believe we can win the Senate race,’ Secretary Fudge showed support for the Democratic Party with respect to the Ohio Senate race while speaking in her official capacity."

I guess it is okay then, no harm, let’s move on, she violated a Federal law but no problem. Let’s take her statement and make a few small changes as it might apply to an ordinary American: “I acknowledge that I should not have been speeding in my car. I should have stuck with my first instinct and not sped down the road. I take these things seriously.”

Same thought process, different context. You can bet that you and I would be held accountable for violating the law but as always, those in power in the political class get to apologize after the fact and move on with no consequences.

3) The Constitution is pretty clear on how our government is supposed to work:

• Congress passes legislation that funds and directs how those funds should be spent in the annual budget process.
• In theory, at least, their budget decisions should represent the priorities and needs of those that elected them, the voters.
• The budget agreement is then approved by and executed by the executive branch of the government.
• It is called democracy.

But much like the Hatch Act farce we just discussed, the executive branch sometimes thinks that it has the right to bypass the Constitution and the procedures that are set up for representative government:

• As we all should know, Biden has wasted no time in creating a major humanitarian, drug cartel, and national security problem at the southern border.
• Thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants and criminals have flooded the border areas which has resulted in tens of thousands of children being apprehended at the border with no adult or parent in sight.
• Part of the problem is that drug cartels and criminal enterprises are now locating unaccompanied kids on the border which has tied up Border Patrol resources which in turn has given the cartels and criminal freer reign to do their illegal activities.
• Thus, there are now 20,000 unaccompanied kids in Federal government detention centers, truly a humanitarian disaster, one that Biden created on his own.
• Now to compound his incompetence, he is likely violating the spirit and letter of the Constitution by diverting taxpayer funds that had been properly allocated to protect and aid needy Americans and is inappropriately taking $2 billion to care for these kids.
• Now, I am not saying these kids should not be taken care of but it needs to be done in a Constitutionally viable way, i.e. Congress approves the $2 billion needed as representatives of the voters and the executive branch then uses it to care for the kids.
• The executive branch has no Constitutional authority to move money around from the purposes it was designed for to cover its mistakes.
• Specifically, Biden’s HHS Department has taken over $2 billion that was approved for COVID relief to cover the costs of caring for the illegal immigrant kids.
• According to Politico, the $2 billion was supposed to be used replenish the Strategic National Stockpile with needed personal protective equipment
• Other medical equipment was also to be used for expanded covid testing of Americans: “The redirected funds include $850 million that Congress originally allocated to rebuild the nation’s Strategic National Stockpile, the emergency medical reserve strained by the Covid-19 response. Another $850 million is being taken from a pot intended to help expand coronavirus testing, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.”

Again, the kids need to be taken care of, no question. But there are Constitutional and government budget processes that are in place that were meant to protect our freedom, democracy and safety, and these have all been violated by the Biden administration.

4) How bad of a situation has Biden caused on the border in the few short months since assuming the Presidency? Consider reporting from the Associated press:

• Thousands of children, “from toddlers to teens,” are being housed in shelters across the country, shelters with very little oversight and scrutiny.
• Staff in some of these shelters have eluded FBI background checks so who knows what type of people are overseeing these kids.
• According to the AP, the kids “aren’t guaranteed access to education, recreational opportunities, or legal counsel.”
• Many of the 20,000 or so kids are being housed in “mass shelters” and "are isolated, less supervised and without basic services.”
• Oh, by the way, Vice President Kamala Harris, who Biden assigned to fix the problem he created, has yet to even visit the border and see what these kids are going through, despite having been given the task of fixing this mess over two months ago.

In four months Biden has disrupted the peaceful status quo at the border, an orderly and safe way for people to come into this country, and has turned it into a drug cartel, sex trafficking, criminal gang, and humanitarian crisis that has endangered not only illegal immigrant adults and kids but also has deprived Americans of their safety and needed medical supplies. A failure of monumental proportions.

That will do it for today's insanity: chaos on the border, Constitution violations, violations of the law but no legal consequences for government employees, and de Blasio, too late, supports the NYPD police and the residents of Queens.
