March, 2018, Part 5, Political Class Insanity: Anti Semitic DC Politican, Anti Tax Cut Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi Still Out Of Touch

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let's get started:

1) Stupidity and brain dead statements do not only come from Federal government politicians. Consider the stupidity of the statements from a local DC politicians, as reported by Caleb Hull, writing for the Independent Journal Review on March 18, 2018:

• Trayon White, a member of the town council in Washington, DC, recently blamed a DC snowstorm on Jewish bankers.
• Yes, according to this politician, bankers actually are able to control the weather, a snowstorm in DC, and the climate, calling their ability “climate manipulation.”
• Stupidity in his own words: “Man, it just started snowing out of nowhere this morning, man. Y’all better pay attention to this climate control, man, this climate manipulation. And D.C. keep talking about, ‘We a resilient city.’ And that’s a model based off the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters they can pay for to own the cities, man. Be careful.”
• When he realized how inane he sounded, he finally apologized: “I work hard everyday to combat racism and prejudices of all kinds. I want to apologize to the Jewish Community and anyone I have offended. The Jewish community have been allies with me in my journey to help people. I did not intend to be anti-Semitic, and I see I should not have said that after learning from my colleagues. I have spoke to leaders and my friends at Jews United for Justice and they are helping me to understand the history of comments made against Jews and I am committed to figuring out ways continue to be allies with them and others..."

How has the “Jewish community have been allies with me” and yet he issues these stupid type of comments? His apology falls far short of being sincere when they are that insulting and bigoted in the first place. 

2) The Trump tax cuts have had a wonderful set of positive outcomes:

• 140 million taxpayers are being taxed at lower levels, both consumers and businesses.
• Over three million Americans received at least a thousand dollars in bonuses as a result of lower business taxes.
• Millions and millions of Americans received a pay raise as a result of the tax cuts including thousands and thousands of Walmart employees.
• Businesses have expanded their education programs for their employees as a result of having more cash from their tax savings.
• Some businesses have expanded their charitable donations since they have excess cash from their tax cuts.
• The unemployment rate at all levels, overall, African American, Hispanic, is plummeting as businesses use the extra cash to expand employment opportunities.

All kinds of good things have happened for over 100 million Americans. Which means that the Democrats insanely want to raise taxes. According to a recent article on the American Liberty website:

• Democrats in Congress recently and publicly declared that if they take over the House of Representative in November they intend to RAISE tax rates for Americans and American businesses.
• In an excellent example of idiocy, Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer recently described the Trump tax cuts as “unpopular.” 
• Yeah, getting pay raises, getting large bonuses, getting a lower tax bill, getting better job training, etc. is such a bitch. Talk about being out of touch and delusional.
• Schumer intends to raise the corporate tax rate, robbing companies of cash they have used to satisfy employees, shareholders, and charities, raise taxes on ordinary Americans, and reinstating the alternative minimum tax.

Still no cure for stupidity or robbing taxpayers. Fortunately, Trump would veto any such legislation if it ever did happen but this type of thinking shows again how out of touch American politicians are with reality and the needs of Americans.

3) A recent article on the Eagle Rising website documented another in a long line of inane Nancy Pelosi comments and views of reality. Apparently, she thinks that having a wall to protect the country along the Mexican border is “too high.” Yes, the purpose of the wall is to keep drug runners, human traffickers, gang members, and terrorists out of the country and she thinks the wall is too high.

If the wall is too low then it is useless and a waste of taxpayer money, Ms. Pelosi. Perhaps you do not understand the concept of a wall: “Did you see it? How high it is? … I mean, really? In a civilized society, we [would] do something like that? A wall that big separating people? I mean, really? This is a big wall.” 

Again, perhaps she does not understand the purpose of the wall: it is too separate people and make immigrants obey the laws of the land when it comes to immigration. A short wall is a waste. You cannot make up this type of idiocy and insanity.

That will do it for today’s insanity: Taxation insanity from Schumer, bigoted anti-Semitic insanity from a DC politician, and Nancy Pelosi still out of touch with this world’s reality. More insanity to follow.
