1) If we have learned anything from Washington politicians, it is that they have no economic common sense, training, or perspective. Over the past year and a half Washington has been on a spending spree, printing money faster than the Treasury Department could send it out, running up record deficits. And the Biden Presidency has been a main culprit in this outrageous spending.
And now their reckless and stupid money printing and spending binge is starting to bite back:
- According to Brittany Bernstein, writing for the National Review on June 19 2021, inflation is starting to rear its very ugly head.
- Consumer prices in May jumped by the biggest annual rate margin since August, 2008.
- That jump was equal to a 5% year over year growth, more than the 4.7% that was expected by the “experts.”
- Prices went up a whopping .6% in just one month, May vs. April.
- Used car and truck prices went up 7.3% year over year.
- Food prices went up .4% in just May.
2) It has always been our perception and position that Joe Biden should never have been allowed to run for President, given the significant cognitive decline he was on in 2020 and which continued to the present time. As the the legal guardian of an elderly uncle who sunk deeper and deeper into the throes of dementia, Biden has exhibited the same symptoms that my uncle suffered through: confusion, inability to put a cohesive conversation together, forgetfulness, etc,
These are the same behaviors that Biden has exhibited over the past couple of years, and behaviors that were recently and embarrassingly viewed by the world:
- Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, were recently asked to speak at the Royal Air Force base at Mildenhall, England.
- Ms. Biden spoke first and asked that the standing British airmen take a seat: “You know, you can sit down. I don’t want you to stand.”
- As they all sat down, Biden turned around to watch when someone shouted, “I love you Joe.”
- When Jill Biden noticed her husband staring out at the crowd, she admonished her husband, the President of the United States, to “Pay attention, Joe!”
- While some in the audience laughed, the Twitter universe was not so kind: “Over on Twitter, the joking behavior instead provoked criticism from those who felt that, even if she was joking, her “order” to the president made him, and thus the country, look weak to its foreign adversaries.”
- In addition: “Critics also argued that, while the “order” might be cute in normal circumstances, the president’s known dementia-like aloofness raised questions over whether the first lady had even been joking.”
- Biden did not help his cause when in the middle of his remarks he said: “I keep forgetting I’m president.”
- Inflation is ramping up.
- The Middle East is aflame again.
- Iran’s terrorist activities are ramping up.
- There is a drug cartel, human trafficking, drug addiction, humantarian, and criminal crisis on the southern border.
- China wants to take over the world.
- Russia and Putin are empowered again.
3) One of the saddest aspects of my uncle’s descent into dementia was his inability to remember what he said and who he said it to. He was lost in his own mind.
Biden recently exhibited the same confused, “what did I say and when did I say it” problem:
- A few days before leaving for England, Biden proclaimed that white supremacy was the greatest threat facing America.
- While I would definitely disagree with that position, he obviously has his right to his opinion and maybe he has access to information/data that I do not know (although he provided no proof that this was a true statement based on facts).
- But just days later he claimed that climate change/global warming was the greatest threat facing America: “You know, when I went over in The Tank in the Pentagon, when I first was elected Vice President, with President Obama, the military sat us down to let us know what the greatest threats facing America were — the greatest physical threats. And this is not a joke: You know what the Joint Chiefs told us the greatest threat facing America was? Global warming. Because there’ll be significant population movements, fights over land, millions of people leaving places because they’re literally sinking below the sea in Indonesia; because of the fights over what is arable land anymore.”
4) Don’t trust my opinion and my experiences of observing Biden over the past few years and how it measures up to my family’s dementia experience? Consider what the foreign politicians have recently said about Biden:
- According to Kipp Jones, writing for The Western Journal on June 10, 2021, the foreign press had some choice observations on Biden.
- One member of England’s parliament had this to say about Biden intruding himself into British politics: “America should remember who their allies are. Unfortunately he’s so senile that he probably won’t remember what we tell him anyway. Unless an aide is listening I’m not sure he’s going to remember for very long.”
- Brexit leader Nigel Farage had this to say about Biden: “We now have an anti-British US President in the White House. I hope all those who condemned Trump see their stupidity.”
- If foreign people are taking public shots like this, imagine what some of the private conversations about Biden’s ineptness are going on.
