June, 2023, Part 2, Political Class Insanity: The Biden's Presidential Failures and Corruption Continue Unabated

Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class continue to show that they are incapable of operating any level of government in this country.

Even their best efforts are almost always inefficient and ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.

Lately it seems like the insanity is getting more frequent and more intense as politicians continue to fail us all. Let’s look at just for of the latest examples of political class insanity:

1) Any rational person in this country knows that Biden’s economic policies have been a disaster. Supply chain problems, high inflation, massive additions to the national  debt, soaring interest and mortgage rates, the list goes on and on.

But Biden claims his policies have been great and that he has created “our historic economic progress.” However, the numbers would disagree with him especially when it comes to Federal income tax results. If the economy is so great, then why is the Federal government collecting less and less in taxes? Past economic good times have ALWAYS resulted in booming Federal government tax receipts.

Consider:

  • In the first seven  months of fiscal year 2023 the Federal government has collected $2.99 TRILLION in taxes while spending $4.16 TRILLION, adding a whopping $1.2 TRILLION to the national debt in only seven months.

  • In the first seven months in 2022, the Federal government spent $3.8 TRILLION and got $3.37 TRILLION in tax revenue, certainly adding less to the national debt but still not a good thing to add half a trillion dollars to the debt in only seven months.

  • But if the Biden economy is so great, why did the Feds collect about $370 billion less in tax revenue in 2023 vs. 2022?

  • April is usually the best month for Federal government tax collection because income tax filing time is April 15.

  • However, in 2023 the Federal government collected $102 billion more than it spent,  which seems like a good thing, until you realize that in  2022 the Federal government had a $373 billion surplus in  April, almost four times what the surplus was in 2023.

In  Biden’s economy, the Federal government spends a lot more every year while collecting a lot less, a formula for a financial crash of epic proportions in the not too distant future.

2)We have made no attempt to hide our feeling that Joe Biden has been in significant cognitive decline for a number of years. Having been the co-executor of an elderly uncle’s estate and witnessed what happened to his cognitive abilities as he descended into dementia, his behaviors and the behavior of Biden have been very, very similar.

And both of them, as the decline worsened, said and did incoherent things with Biden recently coming up with one of his most incoherent rantings ever. In a recent speech, he claimed that there were plans to build a railroad from the Pacific Ocean “across” the Indian Ocean: "We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean. We have plans to build in Angola, one of the largest solar plants in the world. I could go on, but I'm not. I'm going off script. I'm going to get in trouble."

Makes absolutely no sense. The rest of the world sees his incoherence and must shake their heads that he is in charge of the country, “a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean.”  This is how broken our political system is in this country that he could somehow become the President, one of the most powerful people in the world who has access to nuclear launch codes, and he talks this nonsense.

I am not mocking the man, I feel extremely sorry for him. I felt sorry for him when his wife, his family, and his political handlers put him through the pressures of a Presidential campaign, and how lost and bewildered he looks now. In fact, we have often stated that those folks should be prosecuted for elder abuse. It is not fair to him and it certainly is not fair to the rest of the country to have a leader who thinks that he can build a railroad from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean and more importantly even if it was possible, why would we do it?

3)Not knowing what economic policy is may be the least of Biden’s problems as it becomes more and more clear that he and his son likely participated in any number of illegal financial dealings while he was Vice President. And at least one of those illegal dealings may have involved the Biden family members receiving millions and millions of dollars:

  • Bursima is an Ukrainian energy company that somehow had Hunter Biden, Joe’s son, on its board of directors, paying him tens of thousands of dollars a month, even though Hunter had absolutely no background or ability in the energy field.

  • Senator Chuck Grassley recently said that a Bursima executive had in his possession 17 audio recordings of his conversations with both Bidens.

  • The executive referred to those recordings as his “insurance policy.”

  • Why would he need an  insurance policy you might ask?

  • Well, this executive allegedly paid Joe Biden and Hunter Biden $5 million each as part of a bribery scheme.

  • Grassley says that the FBI  generated a standard report that has a “redacted reference that the Bursima executive possesses fifteen audio recordings of phone calls between himself and Hunter Biden.”

  • That form, a so-called FD-1023, also references two calls the executive had with Joe Biden, "The 1023 produced to that House Committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. 17 total recordings. According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses 15 audio recordings of phone calls between him and Hunter Biden. According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses two audio recordings of phone calls between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden.”

  • Grassley is demanding that the Department of Justice and the FBI produce any and all work that they did relative to the alleged bribery scheme.

  • According to a Fox News report, the Burisma executive paid Joe and Hunter Biden $5 million each:  “The $5 million payments appeared to reference a kind of ‘retainer’ Burisma intended to pay the Bidens to deal with a number of issues, including the investigation led by Shokin. Another source referred to the arrangement as a ‘pay-to-play’ scheme.”

Serious accusations if true: a sitting Vice President of the United States taking millions of dollars in bribes from a foreign entity who undoubtedly was not being generous out of the goodness of his heart but who expected certain favors in return.

And this would not be the first time that Biden had shady dealings with Bursima and the Ukrainian government. Several years ago his son was being investigated for illegal  activities in Ukraine but Biden stepped in and told the Ukrainian government that if they did not fire the prosecutor investigating his son, that Biden would see that a billions dollars of U.S taxpayer aid would not be forthcoming.

Yes, he blackmailed the Ukranians using our tax dollars. A video of Biden bragging about his blackmail can be accessed at the following link:

Biden continues to reinforce our view that he is the worst President to serve this country in the past 100 years, worse than Carter, worse than  Nixon. Bad economic policies, crushing Federal government debt growth, and pure, unadulterated corruption for him and his family’s self enrichment. Combine that with his long history of racist comments, sexual predator behavior, and constant lying and no one comes close to being any worse.
