September, 2017, Part 2,The Unfolding Disaster That Is Obama Care: The Idiocy Of A Single Payer System, Drug Costs Still Going Up, and More

Every month for years now we have had to discuss how bad Obama Care is turning out to be under the continuing theme, “the unfolding disaster that is Obama Care.” This month is no different. As the legislation continues to march through America, driving up health care and health insurance prices as it serves as dead weight on economic growth, it cements its rightful place as the worst piece of legislation Washington has ever produced.

It never had a chance to be successful since it really never addressed the underlying root causes of our ever increasing health costs in the country:

• Americans eat too much of the wrong kind of food, resulting in obscenely high obesity rates for the country.
• Our food chain is infested with overdoses of high fructose corn syrup, salt, sugar, and other unhealthy additives.
• Americans smoke too much.
• Americans do not exercise enough.
• The country is in serious need of health care tort reform.
• Barriers to insurance company competition across state lines need to come down.
• Obama Care never “followed the money” to find out who is actually profiting from the ever escalating healthcare costs in this country and how to get those factors under control.
• Obama Care never got the immense amount of fraud and abuse in current government healthcare programs, Medicare and Medicaid, under control in order to save money to efficiently fund other government health care initiatives.
• Obama Care never put serious research money towards curing the major diseases that drive high healthcare costs such as high frequency cancers and dementia type diseases.

You cannot resolve any problem unless you understand and address the underlying root causes. No difference here: Obama Care legislation never addressed these listed root causes and thus, has no chance of ever being successful.

But it is not just missing the root causes of our healthcare costs that makes Obama Care so horrible. It resulted in millions of Americans losing access to their favored doctors, hospitals, and insurance policies. It has caused insurance premiums, deductibles and copays to escalate substantially. It will likely add trillions of dollars to the national debt. It has exposed millions of Americans to higher than necessary identity theft chances. It has created government bureaucracies that are wastefully spending taxpayer wealth and being exploited by criminal elements. It has stifled economic growth and job creation.

These are just a sample of the types of idiocy that we have been reviewing for the past several years in this blog relative to Obama Care., To read those past posts, just enter the phrase, “the unfolding disaster,” in the search box above.

1)Even though  greatly enhanced government and political class interference in the healthcare market via Obama Care turned out to be an enormous failure, some liberals and Democrats are doubling down and saying the reason Obama Care failed was because there was not enough government and political class interference in the healthcare market.

These harping for more interference are calling for a so-called “single payer” health insurance process where the government controls every single aspect of your health care. But Brian Riedl, writing for the National Review website on August 15, 2017, showed how stupid this idea is:

• Every time someone proposes a single payer system in this country the reality of the cost of such a system shows how stupid the idea is.
• Bernie Sanders’ single payer proposal would cost $32 TRILLION in the first ten years.
• This would be about $3.2 TRILLION a year, equal about 80% of the entire Federal government budget today.
• This $32 TRILLION would require an annual average tax increase of $24,000 for every American household.
• The state of Vermont looked at a single payer system for their state in 2014 and gave up when the estimated costs would require a state tax increase of 160%, about $27,500 per Vermont household per year.
• New York also took a run at a single payer system and gave up when the costs got too high.
• In California, the estimated cost of their entry into a single payer system was a whopping $440 billion a year, a sum greater than the entire state government budget.
• The $440 billion came out to a per household annual cost of $26,500.
• In Canada, a country that has had a single payer system for a long time, three quarters of Canadians also see fit to purchase supplemental health insurance to cover prescription drugs, ambulance costs, dentistry, and other services not fully covered by the single payer system, which kind of defeats the whole concept of a single payer system which is supposed to cover “all” medical costs.
• And these cost estimates to not include the inevitable increase of tests and procedures being done if everything is “free” in a single payer system.
• And even if a liberal thinks these astronomical costs are manageable, keep in mind that no government program has ever come in under budget so the $32 TRILLION estimate is probably too low by orders of magnitude.

Unbelievable costs for a process that has never worked anywhere else in the world. And consider the pathetic history of Washington in managing health care processes besides the Obama Care failure:

• Medicare loses about $60 billion a year to wasteful spending, criminal fraud, and inefficiencies.
• Medicare is hurtling towards bankruptcy with a projected $33 TRILLION shortfall over the next 75 years.
• We have reviewed the reality that Medicaid also wastes tens of billions of dollars every year and is so ineffective as a health care process that numerous studies have shown that Medicaid customers are not any healthier than people with no health insurance.
• The Veterans Administration was so inept as a government run health care process that people died while waiting to get an appointment with a doctor within the VA system.

So let’s review: Obama Care failed, Medicare and Medicaid are rushing towards fiscal insolvency, the Veterans Administration killed people with its inefficiency, and no country in the world has operated a single payer system that delivered quality and comprehensive health care at a reasonable cost. And yet, some American politicians still want to go forward with such a system  in this country. To use a medical analogy: there is still no cure for stupid when it comes to a single payer system.

2) According to a Wall Street Journal article that was summarized in the June 9, 2017 issue of The Week magazine, the median out of pocket cost of a prescription drug through Medicare Part D was $117 in 2015. This was higher by nearly half of the level it was in 2011, $79. But wasn’t Obama Care supposed to reduce healthcare costs when it was passed back in 2010? Obviously, it did not do the job on prescription drugs if the cost went up almost 50% in just four years.

In addition, there are now 220 Part D drugs with annual out-of-pocket costs greater than $1,000 while in 2011 there were only 118 such drugs. Out of control cost rises with no sign that Obama Care had any impact in restricting such increases.

3) We have always said that Obama Care failed because it tried to resolve the problem of ever rising healthcare costs in this country by applying a very poor insurance solution when what is really needed is a well constructed public health solution. We have listed the root causes of our high health care costs above, one of which is the reality that America is generally overweight, a major cause of high healthcare costs, from hip replacement to diabetes.

This reality was recently highlighted in a Newsmax article by Cathy Burke on September 1, 2017:

• The 14th annual State of Obesity report from the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation determined that “obesity is a national security issue.”
• This reality has resulted in that almost 25% of all military recruits are rejected because they are too overweight.
• Furthermore, a majority of today’s kids in this country are not fit to serve in the military because they are overweight, have criminal records, are drug users, or have educational deficits.
• And obesity is a major problem  even for those recruits that get into the military since “obese service members and their families are costly, the report found, costing the military about $1 billion every year in healthcare costs and lost productivity.”
• Overall, in the entire U.S. population adult obesity rates are greater than 25% in 46 states.

As we have said many times before, obesity is a root cause of high healthcare costs in this country. It causes diabetes, it causes hip and knee replacements, it causes heart disease and other diseases, all of which result in higher and higher healthcare costs.

The root cause is obesity, a root cause that cannot be eliminated via insurance solutions, the base cause remains unresolved regardless of who pays for the damage caused by obesity. Obama Care never understood this basic issue.

Single payer idiocy, higher and higher drug costs, and obesity as a root cause, more to follow.

1) One of the supposed selling points of Obama Care, as constantly promised by Obama, was that the legislation would greatly reduce health insurance costs and bend downward the cost curve of medical costs in this country. We have written constantly in this blog how the legislation failed miserably on both of these counts. Rather than going down upwards of $2,500 a year as Obama promised, health insurance costs have grown by significant double digits every year since enacted. Regular medical costs have continued to increase far greater than the overall rate of inflation.

A recent Bloomberg article that appeared on the Newsmax website presented another example of how horribly Obama Care failed to control any kind of medical and healthcare costs:

• Fidelity Investments now estimates that a 65 year old American retiring in 2017 will need to spend $275,000 to cover his or her health care expenses for the remainder of their lifetime.
• This is 6% increase in ONE year vs. 2015 despite Obama Care being in effect for years and years.
• And this number does NOT include dental care, long term care, or nursing home care.
• This Fidelity estimate is close to the annual 5.5% increase for medical care that Health View Services research predicts for the next decade.
• The big drivers of higher and higher medical costs according to the Health View Services research are an annual increase of 7.2% for Medigap insurance premiums and an annual increase of 8% for Medicare Part D.
• All other components of medical and health care, according to their research will all grow faster than the current rate of inflation.

If Obama Care was going to bend the cost curve downwards as a primary objective, then these sobering research results from Fidelity and Health View Services are pretty damning in showing what a failure Obama Care has been.

2) Let’s take a quick trip to Iowa and see what is going on there with Obama Care policy premiums. According to a recent article on the Convention of States website, the only insurance company selling Obama Care policies in that state is looking for a whopping 57% increase in insurance premiums in 2018.

If that is not bad enough, the 57% is 13% higher than the rate hike they asked for just two months ago. This indicates that the Obama Care insurance market in Iowa is deteriorating faster and faster. So not only is there only one Obama Care insurer in the state, despite Obama’s promise that Obama Care would spur competition, the lone remaining competitor is looking for a huge increase, hardly bending the cost curve that Obama promised.

3) But Iowa is not alone in this jam. According to a recent Washington Free Beacon report, as listed on the Right Alerts website:

• The Kaiser Family Foundation reports that a majority of U.S. cities that it tracks, 71%, will see Obama Care premiums rise by double digits in 2018.
• A lot of this increase is driven by competitors leaving the Obama Care market.
• According to Kaiser: “The foundation analyzed data in the 20 states and in Washington, D.C. that had submitted rate filings to examine how much premiums were rising and how many insurers were participating on the exchanges.The study evaluated the cost of Obamacare’s second-lowest silver plan. Roughly 71 percent of enrollees have this type of coverage. The second-lowest silver plan is one of the most popular plan choices on the marketplace and is also the benchmark that is used to determine the amount of financial assistance individuals and families receive,” the report states. Of the 21 major cities that were evaluated by Kaiser, 16 will see a double-digit increase in the silver-plan premiums next year. Across these 21 major cities, based on preliminary 2018 rate filings, the second-lowest silver premium for a 40-year-old nonsmoker will range from $244 in Detroit, MI, to $631 in Wilmington, DE, before accounting for the tax credit that most enrollees in the market receive. Only one city will see their premiums decline, while in some cities premiums will increase as high as 49 percent in 2018."
• Kaiser also found that the number of insurance companies participating in Obama Care policies is also declining with 120 insurers in 2014 in the areas Kaiser studied but that has dropped down only 97 insurers today.
• Besides losing money on Obama Care policies, companies dropping out and those asking for huge premium rate increases cite the uncertainty of future subsidies and taxes on premium revenue.

What a mess, higher costs and fewer competitors. The exact opposite of what Obama promised. More unfolding disasters to follow.

September, 2017, Political Class Insanity, Bonus Post: Hillary - Please, Please Go AWAY!

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

I thought we would be done with this month’s political class insanity a few days ago but one last piece of insanity cropped up so I thought I would write about this month and not wait until next month. Before we got to today’s subject, let’s review the list of actual excuses Obama constantly used during his Presidency to blame others for his economic and fiscal failures as Presidency, never accepting responsibility for his ineptness:

• It was Bush’s fault.
• It was the fault of the Japanese tsunami.
• It was ATMs’ fault since they replace real bank tellers.
• It was the financial woes of Europe.
• It was Bush’s fault.
• It was the Arab spring’s fault.
• It was Republicans’ fault.
• It was the banks’ fault.
• It was Bush’s fault

It was never Obama’s fault, it was always someone else’s fault.

This ability to blame everyone else for one’s failure must be built into the political class gene since we are now being bombarded by the insanity of Hillary Clinton blaming everyone else for her defeat for President last November but herself.

Clinton has just released a new book on the 2016 Presidential race. The Blaze website has gone to the trouble of listing out everyone and everything that led to her defeat last year, as Hillary Clinton views reality. Not unexpectedly, much like Obama, she claims no responsibility for her ineptness in running for the highest office in the land:

1. Russian interference through either a disinformation campaign via WikiLeaks or Trump-Russia collusion. She’s also pointed blame at Russian President Vladimir Putin. Never mind that this point has never been proven and as time goes by it comes more and more apparent that someone within the Democratic National Committee itself released damning information to Wikileaks.
2. Former FBI Director James Comey’s criminal investigation of her use of a private email server while secretary of state. Never mind that if she had not broken Federal laws and State Department regulations by having the illegal server the server issue never would have occurred. Also, remember that last summer Comey made a strong case for putting Hillary Clinton in prison for her server performance but saved her neck at the last minute.
3. Poor voter data from the Democratic National Committee. Clinton has described it as “mediocre, “poor,” “nonexistent” and “wrong.” Never mind that the DNC claims that Hillary’s people ignored their data findings, data findings that proved to be correct, e.g. Wisconsin.
4. Voter suppression and voter ID laws. Never mind that there is no proof that there was voter suppression but there is ample and overwhelming data to support the reality that likely millions of illegal votes were allowed to count, the vast majority of which went to Hillary Clinton.
5. Sexism. Never mind that over 30 million American female voters voted for Donald Trump and over 30 million male voters voted for Clinton.
6. Racism. Never mind that racism does not apply to a powerful, rich, and greedy white woman.
7. Barack Obama. Never mind that Obama overlooked the crime syndicate that Hillary Clinton ran under cover of the Clinton Foundation and her position as Secretary of State. If he had done his job and enforced the laws of the land you never would have been a candidate for President.
8. Bernie Sanders and his supporters. Never mind that in America, Americans should have the freedom to choose who they want to lead them and be their candidates, it is not their duty to blindly follow someone who thinks she is entitled to be President.
9. Jill Stein. See the “never mind” under the previous point.
10. The mainstream media, specifically the New York Times for aggressively covering her email scandal. Never mind that the email scandal was real news and a real crime.
11. The Electoral College. Never mind that the Electoral College was the rule of the land for well over two hundred years, has served the country well, and not a surprise to anyone. Besides, despite what Clinton claims, she did NOT win the majority of the vote, the majority of the country did NOT vote for her and she may not even have a plurality when you take into effect the voter fraud and the suppression of the First Amendment rights when Obama weaponized the IRS to suppress the rights of Republican and conservative political groups.
12. Bad polling. Never mind that her pollsters sucked.
13. People who assumed she would win. Never mind that well over 60 million Americans did not make the assumption.
14. “Gullible Americans”. Never mind that insulting Americans is a great way to NOT get their votes.
15. Fake News. Never mind that most fake news was directed at Trump and Republicans by the liberal friendly press.

Let me add a few other reasons for Hillary losing to a neophyte political newcomer with serious character flaws:

• She headed up a crime syndicate that made her husband and herself rich and wealthy at the cost of Federal government assets and favors when she was Secretary of State.
• She called, and insulted, millions of Americans “deplorables” simply because they disagreed with her positions on the issues.
• She abetted, protected, and condoned the sexual predator behavior of her husband for decades in exchange for the chance to be President.
• She lied about the Benghazi scandal numerous times.
• She lied about and flip flopped her positions on a whole range of subjects in the past including gay marriage, illegal immigration, and other topics.
• Her Senate career was average at best, with no outstanding contributions to resolving any major issue facing Americans.
• She threw her daughter a wedding that likely cost somewhere north of three million dollars while millions American families were struggling to survive in jobs with little or no wage growth, assuming they could even find a job in the pitiful Obama economic recovery.
• She acted as if she deserved to be President for no other reason that she was Hillary Clinton.

She lost, and there was no other reason for her loss besides herself. She was the leader of the campaign, she had the ultimate and sole responsibility for the end results. That is what leaders do: they take the blame, and share the glory. That is a leadership lesson she never learned and the insanity of the whole situation is two fold:1)  she still does not get what a lack of leadership character she possesses and 2) she needs to just go away, America does not need someone who denies reality over and over.

September, 2017, Part 7, Political Class Insanity: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama - The Epitome Of Political Class Insanity...And Ineptness

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

1) Let’s finish up this month’s political class insanity by reminiscing a little about the Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton eras. Hopefully, both of these failures were quietly fade off into the sunset (doubtful), finally realizing that the damage they did to this country, its citizens, and our democracy was a lot of their personal doing. 

Let’s start off with the Obama administration. In my opinion, his was the worst Presidency of my lifetime, stretching back to the 1950s. He came into office as a community organizer and left it the same way, never evolving to a great leader or President. I dare anyone to give me a single thing he made better as President, a single issue he resolved, a single great piece of legislation he supported and got passed:

• Obama Care is a disaster. 
• He never put forth any ideas or concepts that would fix Medicare, Social Security, or Medicaid, all of which are hurtling towards fiscal insolvency. 
• He allowed Iran and North Korea to get closer to becoming nuclear weapons powers with his limp “strategic patience” doctrine. 
• He never fixed the broken public education processes in this country despite spending hundreds of billions of dollars.
• His economic stimulus program was an $800 billion failure.
• His legacy includes the reality that the infrastructure of this country (roads, bridges, dams) are in worse condition after he left the job vs. when he took the job as President.
• He allowed Russia to arise again as an international power broker.
• He allowed ISIS to arise, and possibly facilitated the rise, to become the worst terrorist organization ever.
• He almost doubled the national debt with his budgets, endangering the future economic security and prosperity of generations to come. 
• He broke numerous laws and treaties without ramifications. 
• He weaponized parts of the Federal government to attack his political opponents and shred the Constitution.

But do not take my word for it. Consider the sarcastic list of Obama’s historical “firsts” as President of the country, as put forth on September 8 on the Break Time Daily website:

• First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
• First President to have a Social Security number from a state he has never lived in.
• First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States Federal government by a major credit ratings agency.
• First President to violate the War Powers Act with his illegal and un-Constitutional intrusion into the Libyan civil war, an intrusion that helped destroy a functioning country and create a new haven for terrorists.
• First President to be held in contempt of court by a Federal judge for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
• First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party, i.e. forcing all Americans to purchase health insurance.
• First President to spend over $800 billion dollars on “shovel-ready” jobs when there was no such thing as “shovel-ready” jobs, instead wasting billions of dollars on idiotic make work projects with no redeeming societal benefit.
• First President to unilaterally, illegally,and arbitrarily change dozens of components of legislation (Obama Care) without Congressional approval.
• First President to by-pass Congress and implement immigration policy, i.e. the Dream Act, through executive fiat and without Congressional approval.
• First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.
• First President to tell a CEO of a major corporation (Chrysler) to resign.
• First President to terminate America’s ability to put a man in space.
• First President to cancel the National Day of Prayer and to claim that America is no longer a Christian nation.
• First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.
• First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law (DOMA) unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.
• First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke out on the reasons for their rate increases.
• First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it could locate a factory.
• First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN).
• First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.
• First President to actively try to bankrupt an American industry (coal).
• First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office and illegally avoid Constitutionally mandated approval by Congress.
• First President in about 60 years to golf more than 300 separate times in his years in office.
• First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
• First President to spend over $100 million of taxpayer money to support his lavish vacation trips.
• First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.
• First President to repeat the Holy Quran and tell us the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.
• First President to side with a foreign nation over one of the American 50 states (Mexico vs Arizona).
• First President to tell the military men and women that they should pay for their own private insurance because they “volunteered to go to war and knew the consequences.”
• First President to allow Iran to inspect their own nuclear facilities.
• First President to have blood on his hands from Benghazi.
• First President to stand up in front of the American people and the world, at the United Nations, and lie about the true cause of the Benghazi disaster, i.e. it was a simple video that caused the terrorist attack.
• First President to trade 5 important terrorists for a single Army traitor and deserter.
• First President to facilitate the Iranians to acquire nuclear weapons.
• First President to try to unilaterally enforce radical public restroom policies on Americans and American businesses.

I know that most of these items on this list of Obama “firsts” are true, we have previously cited reliable sources to back them up. I cannot vouch for all of them but would assume they are likely true, given the true reality of many facts we have already researched. Note: I dropped out a small set of “firsts” that the website included given that I found either highly speculative or strictly opinions, not facts.

But the article on the website did not cover some other Obama administration failures and dubious achievements in the area of fiscal and economic responsibility:

• Federal budgets that were 25% of GDP, highest level since World War II.
• Federal government debt rising to over 100% of GDP, highest level ever.
• Lowest labor participation rate since the Carter years.
• Lowest annual economic growth following a recession in over seventy years..
• Lowest home ownership rate in decades.
• First administration to run a trillion dollar annual budget deficit.
• First administration to run four trillion dollar annual budget deficits.
• Highest level of government dependency ever, defined as percentage of Americans receiving one or more direct Federal benefits payments.

To be honest, Obama had a lot of help creating all of these failures. But the failure of his Presidency is that he did not stop them and in most cases, he facilitated them. A total Presidential failure, based on the facts and realities he left behind.

2) Let’s move on to Hillary Clinton’s sad, sad history of failure. We have discussed the fact often that as Secretary of State she basically operated a crime syndicate out of the State Department. This syndicate and crime scheme allowed her to trade government favors and access for contributions to her charity, the Clinton Foundation, after which donors to her Foundation often had her husband, Bill Clinton, come by to their company or foreign government to give a token speech but receive hundreds of thousands of dollars each time for giving a speech.

But Hillary’s ineptness and greed and ego go way back in time. I have lifted a great historical summary of her checkered past off of a Facebook post by a guy named Robert Jones. I copied it and then realized I wanted to reprint it and now cannot locate the quote. There are so many Robert Jones on Facebook and he posted on a Facebook page that was not his own. 

Thus, I am taking a chance by copying it here without his permission. Hopefully, he is okay with it since it is a story that is well told by Mr. Jones and one that give anyone shudders if they ever thought Hillary Clinton was worthy and capable of being President:

When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over a health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a democratic controlled congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million in cost for studies, promotion, and other efforts.

Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female attorney general. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as “my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths of women and children.

Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection. When a little probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.

Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

Many younger votes will have no knowledge of “Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours.

Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House. Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.

Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the #$%$ eruption” and scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were:

She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. After the Starr investigation they settled with Ms. Jones.

She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.

Hillary’s devious game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for 'lying under oath' to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.

Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.

After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had stolen.

What a swell party – ready for another four or eight year of this type of low-life mess?

Now we are exposed to the destruction of possibly incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation – we have no idea what shoe will fall next. 

That about sums up the nonsense and incompetence we have had to put up with over the past eight years, in Obama;s case, or several decades, in Clinton’s case. True, true political class insanity!

That will do it for this month’s political class insanity. But you know that this time next month we will have to start all over again.
