Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class Far continue to show that they are incapable of efficiently operating any level of government in this country.
Even their best efforts are almost always ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.
1)Back in late 2020 we put forth a series of posts that showed quite easily that there was massive voting corruption in swing states across the country. The first in those posts can be accessed at:
https://loathemygovernment.blogspot.com/2020/11/election-2020-part-1-first-invalid.html
More recently we discussed the reality that the Georgia Board Of Elections finally issued their report on the voting irregularities in that state in 2020. Their investigation found that there were at least 140 violations of state voting procedures and voting laws. In just one case, they found that about 380,000 ballots were never verified for whether they were valid or not. Their bottom line conclusion is that the Presidential election results in Georgia should have never been certified.
And the voting corruption tales keep on coming, this time in Michigan:
A recent documentary, “Voter Fraud: Exposed” was put together by Sara Gonzales.
In the documentary she was interviewed by Pulitzer Prize winning writer Charlie LeDuff.
According to Gonzales’s research, there are currently 105% of Michigan adults who are registered to vote.
In other words, there are more registered voters in the state than voting age adults, 8.3 million registered voters and just under 7.9 million adults in the state.
Furthermore, some of those 7.9 million adults in the state are not citizens and thus, not legally allowed to vote.
LeDuff related how in 2020 he received an absentee ballot from a woman named Jane, who had not lived at the address on the ballot for 25 years.
He also came across a house in Michigan that had been unoccupied for ten years due to a fire and yet still had four active registered voters living at the abandoned address, one of whom was born in 1914.
More voter fraud from 2020, an election that saw Joe Biden being the first President to be installed as President, not elected.
2)For years, many of us have had to endure the bragging and condescension of liberal state and city politicians who boasted proudly that they were “sanctuary” cities and states. This means that they would not cooperate with Federal authorities and Federal law when it came to dealing with illegal immigrants in their jurisdictions.
But karma's a bitch and as we know these same sanctuary states and cities have been overwhelmed with millions of illegal immigrants as a result of Biden’s failed immigration policies. These millions of illegal immigrants have caused taxpayer wealth to be diverted from taxpayer needed government programs to feed, shelter and provide medical care to these millions of illegal immigrants.
And apparently, this whole sanctuary state bragging is not going well in Massachusetts:
The state government has decided to evict illegal immigrant families from the government shelter system beginning in September.
Specifically according to the Governor, Maura Healey: “This new length of stay policy will strengthen those efforts to connect families with the resources and services they need to move into more stable housing and contribute to our workforce.”
Politicians are great at lying and denial: in Massachusetts, somehow going from welcoming and providing illegal immigrants free food, shelter, and medical care is great to throwing them out on the streets to fend for themselves is also great.
But the heartlessness of booting people out of sanctuary shelters is not restricted to only sanctuary state Massachusetts.
Other sanctuary cities such as Denver, Chicago, and New York City are doing the same, throwing illegal immigrants out of their taxpayer subsidized status to homeless status despite being “sanctuaries.”
So much for being “sanctuaries.” Again, karma's a bitch as boastful politicians in these cities and states never had a plan or budget to be sanctuaries for millions of illegal immigrants, an epic failure for illegal immigrants and taxpayers alike.
3)Speaking of not having a plan, let’s go out to Seattle and see how their politicians are failing miserably to resolve a major problem out there:
Despite spending a lot of taxpayer money to resolve the city’s homeless problem, the problem has gotten even worse.
In fact, recent news reports indicate the city’s homeless population has recently gone up 23% despite politicians’ efforts to get it under control/
Officially, there are now 16,385 homeless folks in the city, an official estimate that is seen by many to be too low.
A quote of a city resident in the Seattle Times sums up the problem nicely for those taxpaying, law-abiding city residents like himself: he told the Times that he felt he was “held hostage” by nearby homeless tents and RVs.
Just another example of the American political class spending a lot of taxpayer wealth and getting zero positive results.
4)It is not too hard to search out and find idiocy, inane policies and programs, and just general incompetence of the American political class. In fact, Americans are coming to that conclusion more and more:
According to a recent Rasmussen poll of likely voters, 54% of those polled feel that a group of 500 people randomly pulled from the phone book could do a better job than what is currently sitting in Congress.
Only half of that 54%, 27%, think that current members of Congress could do a better job than a random gathering of 500 ordinary Americans.
Only 20% believe that the average member of Congress listens to the voters he or she represents.
67% believe that the average member of Congress listens mostly to party leaders.
Again given the current state of the country, overall high inflation, high food prices, high energy prices, declining school performance, unchecked and dangerous immigration policies, hundreds of thousands of homeless Americans, out of control government spending and debt, skyrocketing crime, dangerous overseas crises, corruption throughout the entire Washington power and political structure, etc, it is no surprise why the majority of Americans hold the Washington political class in such low esteem.
That will do it for today’s insanity: Washington dysfunction and failure is now formally recognized, Seattle fails at fixing its homeless problem, sanctuary states and cities fail in their bravado, and more election corruption continues to emerge.
