We have spent a lot of time lately discussing the violent and sometimes fatal consequences of Biden’s failed immigration policies on American citizens. Let’s take a break from that sad reality and discuss some good old political class insanity:
1)We have often discussed one of the dire and fatal outcomes of Biden’s failed border security problem: the large increase in illegal drugs that have flooded across the border into the country, a flood that continues to support the overdose deaths of over 100,000 Americans every year, Given his failed border policies, drug cartels and others have gotten very rich as they have mostly unfettered access to the country via the leaky border.
Consider the following example of how much the cartels have pumped up their ability to produce illegal drugs, especially fentanyl, for shipment into the U.S.:
The Mexican government recently had the largest seizure of fentanyl in the history of mankind.
The Mexican navy intercepted a load of fentanyl that was over a ton.
A ton of fentanyl is enough to kill untold millions of people.
The good news is that this massive load was intercepted and will not make it into our country and poison thousands and thousands of Americans. The bad news is that it is just a start and that for sure, while this seizure was going down, other loads were getting into the country.
What is interesting is that this interception occurred shortly after Trump had a discussion with the Mexican president and threatened tariffs on Mexican imports if the drug trafficking did not get under control. Coincidence, or did the Mexican government and its politicians finally do what it should have been doing over the past four years during Biden's term? If they had, how many Americans would still be alive today and had not overdosed?
2)How about some good old politician criminal behavior:
The FBI recently arrested Boston city councilor, Tania Fernandes Anderson.
She is charged with a number of criminal charges including corruption, theft, and wire fraud.
According to the indictment, she conspired with a staff member to steal thousands of taxpayer dollars from the city government of Boston.
She allegedly paid a relative of hers a $13,000 bonus and then received $7,000 of that bonus back in cash in a secret meeting in a city hall restroom.
She potentially faces decades of prison time if the charges prove to be true.
She had previously been cited for shady ethics dealings when she hired her sister and son for government positions.
Just another day and another member of the American political class focusing on self enrichment and not the welfare of her constituents.
3)In our previous post we discussed the sad reality that the Biden administration has lost track of over 300,000 illegal immigrant kids who have crossed into the country. The fear is that a large portion of these kids did not end up with friends and family but ended up in criminal enterprises including sex trafficking and sweatshop working.
But apparently it is not just illegal immigrant kids that the Biden administration has failed:
The Biden administration has been flying in thousands of illegal immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela under the CHNV program for years.
According to a recent Congressional report: “To mask the border crisis and artificially decrease historically high border encounters, President Biden and Vice President Harris implemented programs and policies that allowed aliens to bypass the southwest border so they would not be included as encounters in Border Patrol data.”
Apparently this program had some serious downsides for these illegal immigrants under this program: “Sex traffickers have potentially used CHNV to exploit women and girls. A fraud analysis of CHNV applications revealed that some applications that were sent from the same IP addresses were submitted on behalf of a high proportion of female CHNV aliens … raising concerns about potential sex trafficking. In one such case, 21 supporter applications were submitted from the same IP address on behalf of 18 females and only three males. At least six of the females were under the age of 18. Another concern surrounded the use of the same physical address by many supporters. According to the DHS analysis, 100 physical addresses were used at least 124 times each on behalf of 19,062 CHNV aliens.”
Thus, Biden flew these illegal immigrants into the country using American taxpayer dollars and then allowed multiple illegal immigrants to be released into the custody/care of potentially shady characters including human smugglers, drug cartels, and criminal organizations.
Another report, this one by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, found significant evidence of fraud including the use of “666666666” as Social Security numbers on forms for applicants applying to take possession of these illegal immigrants, 2,839 forms that listed non-existent zipcodes, 1,908 fictitious phone numbers, and over 1,000 applications featuring the same sponsor name.
Additionally, the most frequently used sponsor email address was listed on 3636 different forms.
The Congressional report concluded that their investigation: “Uncovered how the Biden-Harris Administration’s willingness to cast aside the best interests of Americans has enabled fraud, undermined national security, and endangered public safety, all in favor of ensuring that hundreds of thousands of otherwise illegal aliens can come to the U.S. through CHNV.”
First, the administration loses over 300,000 illegal immigrant kids. Next, we find out that many of the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants flown into the country using taxpayer dollars probably have likely ended up with some very bad people in the human and sex trafficking business, the drug cartel business and other criminal organizations. So sad that due to Biden’s incompetence, American taxpayers are subsidizing worldwide criminal organizations.
4)We often talked about the incompetence of the previous Chicago mayor, Lori Lightfoot. Under her regime, crime and violence skyrocketed, illegal immigrants flooded into the city overwhelming city government resources, and businesses and residents continued to flee the city, taking their tax dollars with them which created financial strains on the city budget.
She is now out of office and Brandon Johnson is the current mayor. But it seems his incompetence is somehow just as bad as Lightfoot’s, something that was thought impossible:
He has been in office for 18 months so he cannot use the excuse that he just came into power.
The city continues to still be wracked by crime, violence, murders, and gang violence.
The city continues to bleed tax paying residents and businesses.
Illegal immigrants in the city continue to drain city resources.
Johnson’s illegal immigrant program, “New Arrivals Mission,” has cost the city government $574.5 million in the past two years.
This $574.5 million that cannot be spent on better schools, improved roads and transportation, feeding the hungry and homeless citizens, etc.
Johnson now wants to increase the property tax rate in the city to continue supporting the city’s illegal immigrant population.
At a recent public meeting with Johnson a woman resident gave Johnson a piece of his mind: “I got a great way what we can do with this budget. First, let’s start with cutting off illegals getting free everything, free housing, free schooling, free food. Yeah, let’s start with that. That’ll save us a lot of money. Let’s start there. Then, let’s start with you. Your salary. You are going down in history as the worst mayor in America!”
Another resident also spoke up: “It’s gonna be an audit. Then, it’s gonna be an investigation. Then, it’s gonna be an indictment. And THEN [*pulls out orange prison jumpsuit*] – conviction. THAT’S what’s gonna happen to you. This is what’s gonna happen to you. You got Kash Patel and Pam Bondi that you’re gonna have to deal with, sooner or later.”
Obviously the natives are restless in Chicago as they are finally fed up with their hard earned tax dollars being diverted to take care of illegal immigrants while the other city problems, gang violence, murders, etc., continue to fester. The confrontation can be seen at the following link:
That is enough political class insanity for today: Chicago residents have had enough of yet another inept mayor, a Boston politician gets caught for her corruption and self enrichment, Biden loses more illegal immigrants, and the fentanyl express gets slightly detoured.
