As we have discussed many times in this post there is no set of Americans more full of hypocrisy than the American political class:
While millions of Americans are forced to live with the idiocy that are Obama Care insurance policies, American politicians treat themselves to world class medical care and health insurance with taxpayer money, getting far better health care than the taxpayers that pay for politicians’ health care.
While just about every American was forced to shelter in place and wear masks when out in public during the height of the covid crisis, American opticians were going about their normal lives, getting their hair done, getting their nails done, going out to dinner without using masks, taking vacations trips that regular Americans were forbidden to take, etc.
While Americans go to jail for insider stock trading, American politicians can enrich themselves via insider information without fear of jail times.
This is obviously just a partial list of their ongoing and blatant hypocrisy. The latest example of their hypocrisy was pointed out in a recent Wall Street Journal article. Obviously, most people know that there was a riot and invasion of the Capitol building on January 6, 2021 when supposed Trump supporters protested the corrupt election of Joe Biden.
Now what is becoming known is that the crowd in the building was not only Trump supporters. We now know that Antifa gang members, Black Lives Matter folks, undercover FBI and other government agents and who knows who else were among the crowd. Thus, who knows who was causing the problems.
But Democrats and liberals have gone crazy over this incident, acting like it never happened before, having biased Congressional hearings, staffing the hearing committee investigating the incident with Trump hating Congress people, calling on only selective witnesses, falsifying documents, destroying documents, etc. They have acted like the country was about to be overthrown.
And yet when Democrats, liberals and their supporters did similar acts of aggression in the past, Democrats were mute in their response. No outrage, no Congressional hearings, etc., their hypocrisy is overwhelming given the history of left wing, liberal groups attacks on government elections, buildings and institutions:
For example, 2005, 31 Democrats of the House of Representatives voted to object that Ohio’s Presidential electoral votes were being awarded to George W. Bush despite Bush beating John Kerry by 118,601 votes in the state,
And yet in 2021 Democrats cried foul when Trump investigated the possibility of voiding electoral votes for Biden based on voting fraud allegations.
In 2005, Congressman John Conyers went on the House floor and claimed that “electronic machines transferred” votes from Kerry to Bush.
He want on to say that some Ohio precincts had more votes than registered voters, some voters cast more than one vote, and that voting machines could be accessed remotely and vote totals changed,
But when Trump made the exact same accusations in 2020, Democrats went wild with hypocrisy, ignoring the fact that they made the same accusations 15 years before.
Many of the same people that accused Bush of voting fraud are still in Congress and ignored their hypocrisy when Trump made the same arguments they did in 2005, e.g. Maxine Walters, Ed Markey, Frank Pallone, Conyers, and others.
At that time Pelosi supported the baseless Democrat allegations of voter fraud by saying that “[voting] debate is fundamental to our democracy,” and warned Republicans not to “talk about this as a conspiracy theory,” and argued the accusations were “about the Constitution.”
When Trump basically said the exact same thing what Pelosi said in 2005, she ignored her hypocrisy and instituted a Congressional committee to investigate not the voting fraud realities but investigate Trump.
Biden has not helped the situation by continuing the hypocrisy that Pelosi and others set out in 2005 by accusing those that doubted the results of the 2020 election that they were “thwarting the will of the people” and that he “would not stand by and watch the will of the American people be overturned by wild conspiracy theories and baseless evidence-free claims of fraud.”
And yet I would bet that hypocritical Biden did not speak similar words when members of his party did the exact same thing in 2005.
And while Democrats in 2021 got rightfully upset that thousands of Trump supports, Antifa members Black Lives Matter folks, and undercover government agents invaded the Capitol building, these same Democrats were silent when left wing liberal groups planted bombs in the Capitol and Selective Service locations in the past or when liberals attacked dozens of Federal buildings during the George Floyd riots.
I am not defending the Trump incident in January, 2021 or the Democratic uproar against Bush in 2005. In essence they are the exact same thing from a hypocrisy perspective: in 2005, the Democrats went wild on their voting fraud accusations, not to protect the Constitution and our democracy but to get their guy elected president. In 2021, the exact same thing happened but the roles were reversed.
The bottom line is all members of the American political class do not usually care about freedom, honest elections, or hypocrisy: they are only in it for themselves, be it insider trading, getting their hair and nails done while regular Americans go hairy and live with unadorned nails, or when they live by the old adage, ‘do as I say, not as I do.” They all stink.
Personal opinion: I am a professionally trained statistician. I looked at the election results of the 2020 Presidential election, and in my statistical opinion, the election was rigged and Biden was not elected to the Presidency, he was installed as President. This post and others lay out the statistical discrepancies, the mathematical impossibilities, and other irregularities in the voting results. These posts also discussed the documented cases of eye witnesses seeing the voting results being manipulated, deleted, falsely submitted.
Since that time, I have accumulated over 700 news articles of voting fraud instances where people have been arrested, prosecuted, and found guilty of voter fraud. I would be more than happy to share any of these articles with anyone who is interested. In my mind, given the numbers, the results, the eye witness accounts, and prosecution of voter fraud across the country, the 2020 Presidential election was a mess of fraud, deceit and cheating.
By the way, as I have made clear many times in this blog, I did not vote for Trump in 2020 or 2016, I have never voted for a Republican for President, and when I was a resident of New Jersey I was a registered member of the Democratic party for a time. So please, no accusations that I am a disgruntled Trump voter, I am a disgruntled American voter who is convinced that there was massive voter fraud in 2020 and that we are still being led by some of the most hypocritical people in this country, the American political class.
