Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class continue to show that they are incapable of efficiently operating any level of government in this country.
Even their best efforts are almost always ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.
1)We have very often talked about the many, many lies that have spewed out of Joe Biden’s mouth over the years. He lied about being in South Africa with Nelson Mandela. He lied about where he went to college. He lied about being a professor. In fact, the following link captured 38 of his most famous lies, not a comprehensive list:

And he recently continued his lying ways:
As most folks probably know, a container ship recently hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.
Sadly, the bridge collapsed which killed several innocent folks in the process.
In discussing the tragedy, Biden claimed that many times he had commuted from his home in Delaware to DC by train that went over the bridge: “At about 1:30 [a.m.], a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which I’ve been over many, many times commuting from the state of Delaware either on a train or by car.”
Unfortunately, the bridge never had a railroad connection over it, it was strictly a four lane road for cars and other vehicles, commuting over the bridge by train was impossible simply because no train line and tracks traversed the bridge.
Unbelievable that he would state such an impossibility. Either he believes this myth or he thinks we are too stupid to check his statement. In either case, not the type of behavior one would want in a President, either delusional or lacking any faith in our intelligence.
2)Continuing with the bridge collapse, Biden almost immediately claimed that the Federal government would pay to restore the bridge as soon as possible. Which makes no sense:
The Federal government, which is really a representative of the American taxpayer, had nothing to do with this accident and tragedy.
The owner of the ship that hit the bridge and caused it to collapse is a major international shipping company, Maersk.
I am pretty sure that Maersk carries business insurance to protect itself from accidents.
Thus, why should the American taxpayer pay to rebuild the bridge? Maersk and its insurers should pay for the damage and disaster they created. It makes no sense that Biden would immediately offer to use Federal government taxpayer money to cover the rebuilding.
But given that Biden is so delusional that he thinks that he often traveled over the bridge on a non-existent rail line, idiocy like this should not be unexpected.
3)New York City politicians, including current mayor Eric Adams, have sanctimoniously and pompously declared over the years that they were better than others who did not support sanctuary cities, cities where illegal immigrants were protected by the local political class from Federal government agencies. They were so proud of their shallow empathy for illegal immigrants.
But they have been hit with the cold reality of being a sanctuary city since Biden became President. Under Biden, border security has been almost non-existent and millions and millions of unvetted and unvaccinated people have poured over our borders. 180,000 of these illegal immigrants have found their way to New York City and this flood has forced politicians like Adams to divert taxpayer dollars away from their taxpayer services like police, education, recreation, etc.
Along with the large influx of illegal immigrants has come a huge increase in crime from South and Central American gang members who now roam the streets of New York. Thus, not only are taxpayers getting fewer services for their tax dollars, but their very safety is now more threatened by being a sanctuary city.
I review all of the above because NYC mayor Adams recently planned a visit to the southern border to see for himself what the illegal immigrant situation is:
The mayor was scheduled to visit Brownsville and McLean, Texas, the frontline for illegal immigration.
He was supposed to meet with Federal immigration officials on the border to get a firsthand view of the reality there.
But the State Department outlined safety concerns and the mayor ended up canceling his trip for his own protection.
However, back in October he took a four day trip through Latin America to plead with people to not make the dangerous trip to the U.S. border and that New York City was “at capacity,” i.e. the city could not handle any more illegal immigrants.
Two comments: First, they say karma's a bitch and his preaching and bragging about being a sanctuary city has come back to bite him and the unfortunate residents of his city. Second, think about it: he was able to travel around Latin America without any safety concerns but he cannot visit two U.S. border cities since his safety was a concern.
That is a perfect description of how bad Biden’s immigration policies have failed: a U.S. mayor, with armed guards, cannot visit other cities in the country without possibly being in harm’s way. Imagine how his mostly unarmed citizens feel about their safety as a result of the illegal immigration fiasco and the designation from their politicians of being a “sanctuary city.”
4)Democrats like Biden often claim that they are the more tolerant wing of American politics and that they are more sensitive to issues of women, sexual orientation, and minorities. But karma is raising its head again when situations like the following pop up:
Anthony Bernal is a very top aide to Democrat First Lady, Jill Biden.
He has been accused of making tremendously inappropriate comments about others’ genitalia and sexual orientation.
At least three former Biden White House employees have accused him of allegedly speculating about others' penis sizes and others’ sexualities.
On top of these gross behaviors he is viewed as a bully, a demanding, and overbearing boss who has made coworkers cry by spreading demeaning gossip about them.
This type of behavior had previously been reported by Politico and in a book by a New York Times reporter and yet, apparently nothing has been done to reprimand him for his behavior.
The White House chief of staff, Jeff Zients, has refused to investigate the accusation and thus, according to sexual harassment experts, has left the White House open to potential and serious sexual harassment liability danger.
So much for Biden’s assertion that he promotes respect and dignity in the White House staff. Just another example of the political class mantra, “do as I say, not as I do.”
That will do it for today: Biden lies again or is delusional about his train travel, Biden volunteers our tax money to pay for a bridge collapse that we had nothing to do with, Eric Adams cannot safely visit another U.S. city, and Biden’s White House might be a haven for at least one sexual predator.
