Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class Far continue to show that they are incapable of efficiently operating any level of government in this country.
Even their best efforts are almost always ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.
1)We have often discussed the disaster of Biden’s failed immigration policies, how millions of illegal immigrants have swarmed unchecked over our borders and have landed in mostly liberal “sanctuary cities” across the country. Once there, local taxpayers have had to pay their hard earned tax dollars to feed, house, and medically treat the illegal immigrants.
New York City has been in the forefront of trying to deal with thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants. The logistics and costs are enormous, requiring the mayor, Eric Adams, and others in city political offices to cut budget dollars going to support the city taxpayers in order to pay for the care of the illegal immigrants.
Given the enormous magnitude of the problem, one would hope the good mayor would be focused on large, impactful and creative ways to deal with the crisis. And again, with most American politicians, that hope is quickly dashed:
The city has been dealing with the problem of not having enough lifeguards for city run pools and beaches.
Somehow, the mayor thought that combining these two problems into a single solution was a great idea.
Specifically: “We have a large number of migrants who are coming here who have excellent swimming skills.”
In other words, hey, we have vacant jobs, these folks need jobs, viola, solution!
Never mind that his statement has more than a tinge of racism, implying illegal immigrants from Latino and African countries are collectively good swimmers, an assertion completely devoid of any factual basis.
And just because one is a good swimmer, does not mean they would be a good lifeguard, that is just one of many skills a lifeguard should have, skills that probably require a very good proficiency of the English language.
And in the big picture, how is this anywhere close to a solution? There are well over a hundred thousand illegal immigrants in need of care in the city, how many vacant lifeguard positions are there: dozens, maybe a few hundred? Small thinking in the context of a large problem, typical approaches of American politicians.
2)We have often discussed the reality of people fleeing California because of the following realities:
Higher and higher taxes.
Escalating homelessness in many cities in the state.
Rising crime rates in many cities in the state.
Outrageously high housing prices.
Over regulation of businesses and individuals.
Failing public schools.
One set of people leaving the state is especially distressing and that is the number of California police officers who are leaving the state for other states. Apparently, over 5,000 police officers have left the state for states where they are more appreciated and where the district attorneys actually prosecute criminals. The lack of prosecution is one of the primary reasons that exiting officers say they are moving to other states such as Texas, Arizona, and others.
So it is probably a good bet that the states’ crime rate will continue to rise and make life very dangerous for state residents as it becomes more difficult to recruit and retain police officers in the state. Just another failure of the state political class.
3)Biden has been on a roll lately with incoherent speeches and statements and outright lies. Just in the past week or so Biden falsely claimed that his uncle was likely eaten by cannibals in the South Pacific in World War II although war records make that obviously false. He said that inflation was 9% when he took office when in reality it was only 1.4%. Every day brings more lies, delusions, and incoherence.
And he continued on a roll when he was recently giving a speech with the following incoherent statement: “There is no singular Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander identity and diversity in those cultures, the breadth of achievement, and shape the strength and fabric of this country,”
There is no way that statement makes any sense on any level of intelligence. And as always he had the help of a teleprompter and yet, he still spilled out this gibberish.
4)We have often made the case that Joe Biden has not been a very decent human being over the years. He has a history of being a sexual predator, issuing racist comments, and lying about just about anything in the world. And another despicable act of his, if true, would probably put all of the other actions and words to shame:
For a number of years, there have been rumors that a personal diary of Biden’ daughter, Ashley Biden, has been found or is floating around in various hands.
The story goes that Project Veritas paid $40,000 for the diary after she left it behind when she moved out of a friend’s house.
Project Veritas did not publish its contents because it could not verify whether it was authentic but that did not stop The National File blog from publishing its contents.
The supposed contents of her diary contained very disturbing and lurid details that stated that Biden had once had inappropriate showers with his young daughter.
Most news outlets did not publish these accusations since they could not be validated and many of the news outlets that could have published them were in the bag for Biden’s election when this all hit the fan back in 2020.
But that did not stop the Daily Mail in Britain from publishing the diary’s potential contents: “The diary’s explosive contents include Ashley’s speculation that showering with her father, then-Senator Joe Biden, as a young girl may have contributed to her sex addiction. ‘I remember having sex with friends @ a young age; showers w/ my dad (probably not appropriate).’”
Other contents of the supposed diary said that Ashley felt that she was “hyper-sxaualized [at] a young age” and that her drug abuse, extra marital affairs, and other problems were a result of this behavior by her father.
And while many in the mainstream media denied that the diary was real, that it was fake and designed to hurt Biden politically, the leftist fact checking organization, Snopes, recently confirmed that the diary is real, as documented by Blaze Media: “Up until this month, the Snopes entry indicated the claim was unproven because “the authenticity of this document or the images published by National File have not been confirmed.”The fact-check outfit was compelled to change its tune after Ashley Biden, 42, once again confirmed the diary was hers in an April 8 letter to the judge overseeing Harris’ case in New York. “I am deeply saddened that I even have to write this letter because my personal private journal was stolen and sold for profit,” wrote Ashley Biden. While admitting the document was hers, Ashley Biden attempted to cast doubt on the veracity of her various entries, suggesting they were “stream-of-consciousness thoughts.”
Specifically, Snopes admitted: “On April 29, 2024, Snopes changed the rating of this fact check from ‘Unproven’ to ‘True’ based on testimony provided by Ashley Biden. In an April 8 letter to a New York judge requesting jail time for one of the two people convicted of stealing her diary, Biden wrote, ‘I will forever have to deal with the fact that my personal journal can be viewed online.’ Previous versions of this fact check noted ‘strong evidence’ that the diary existed, but argued that no source had authenticated the contents of the pages published online, writing that ‘the authenticity of photographs purported to be from a diary is a separate question from the factual existence of a diary.’
Reviewing this development is not meant to cause additional stress and heartbreak on Biden’s daughter. It is meant, though, to show again that Joe Biden’s actions over the years, both public and now private, have been pretty disgusting. And it also demonstrates that even though the left wing media’s favorite fact checking organization has shown a shady side of a Democrat, it will likely not report on this reversal of Snopes assessment.
Given this topic, let’s take a quick look at how Biden has behaved relative to other young girls over the years, purely disgusting behavior:
That will do it for today’s insanity: Biden’s alleged very shady dealings with his young daughter, Biden’s public speaking engagements continue to be gibberish, California police migrate out of the state like everyone else, and Eric Adams comes up small when it comes to problem solving.
