April, 2019, Political Class Insanity, Part 6: More Congressional Computer Hacking, You're A Racist If YOu Disagree With This Judge, and Maxine Walters Ignorance...Again

It is another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let’s get started:

1) Several years Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz got into hot water because she allowed foreign citizen data professionals do work for Democrats in Congress. Things did not go well, with sensitive, classified information getting swiped by some of the data professionals. Wasserman-Schultz then went wild trying to prevent investigators from getting access to Congressional computers since it would prove how careless she was with government data.

Seems that scandal is lingering and growing in ways that were recently reported on the Freedom Outpost website:

• Jackson Cosko, a data professional formerly working for U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan, recently admitted that he stole tens of thousands of Congressional documents, credit card numbers, Social Security numbers and the ENTIRE contents of the network drive of Hassan’s office.
• It is alleged that he stole private data about other Senators to embarrass them during the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings.
• Cosko took a plea deal for his actions and admitted he worked with an accomplice who helped him get access to the computers to steal the data.
• News reports point to another staff Hassan staff member, Samantha DeForest-Davis, as the accomplice.
• Apparently, the two of them worked for months getting access and stealing the data and information.
• Hassan had already been fired by Hassan for other, unrelated issues but DeForest-Davis helped him gain access to computer rooms and computers: “Deforest-Davis — identified in court documents only as SUBJECT A — allegedly repeatedly provided Cosko a key that he used to enter the office at night and install tiny devices that capture every keystroke, including passwords which were then used to access further materials, according to the statement. After Cosko was caught in the act by a Hassan staffer in October 2018, the accomplice went to the office and wiped down keyboards and mice to erase any fingerprints, prosecutors said.”
• Even more disturbing is the reality that Hassan serves on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs so she probably has access to highly sensitive information, information that may have been compromised by a fired former employee.
• Court documents said Cosko feared that his “termination” by Hassan in May 2018 would stymie his career, but Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas hired him soon after. 

Despite being fired by a Senator, and subsequently breaking into that Senator’s office and her computers, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee actually hired Cosko to work on her computers in her office. You cannot make this insanity up. What a mess, these politicians in Congress expect us to trust them when they cannot even be trusted to secure vital government information?

2) Daniel Greenfield, writing for the Freedom Outpost website on April 14, 2019, discussed a ridiculous but dangerous position of an Obama appointed judge:

• Judge Carlton Reeves was appointed by Obama.
• He recently went off on this ridiculous rant: "When politicians attack courts as 'dangerous,' 'political,' and guilty of 'egregious overreach,' you can hear the Klan’s lawyers, assailing officers of the court across the South." 
• So if someone disagrees with a court ruling, he or she is a racist member of the KKK according to the good judge, the First Amendment be damned?
• He went on to rant that Trump is trying to bring the country to a "homogenous judiciary".

This is a judge who is out of control, wanting to suppress freedom of speech by designating someone with a different opinion of someone like him as a racist. 

3) So many members of Congress are so ignorant and out of touch with reality that it has kept this blog stocked with political class insanity for years:

• Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson, during a televised Congress hearing, voiced his opinion that the island of Guam in the Pacific Ocean could actually tip over if too many Navy resources were stationed there.
• Texas Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee once wanted to know if a Mars rover vehicle was going to drive anywhere close to where Neil Armstrong landed on the moon.
• Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi once stated that the Obama Care legislation had to get passed so that we could all find out what was in it, i.e. she wanted to enact a law before actually reading it.
• New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said so many incorrect, ignorant, and out of touch with reality falsehoods that she now has a recurring set of blog posts every month.

The above is just a sample of their idiocy. Consider how goofball Congresswoman Maxine Walters recently made a fool of herself during Congressional hearings:

• A bunch of bank CEOs were recently in front of a Congressional committee where the topic of student loans came up.
• Walters went on a little bit of a jag, citing statistics that showed a lot of people in this country had very high student loans that needed to be paid off.
• She then asked the CEOs what they and their banks planned to to do to ease the burden of student loans.
• She first asked Brian Monahan what his bank, Bank Of America, planned to do.
• Mr. Monahan answered: “We stopped making student loans in 2007 or so.” 
• She then asked Michael Corbat what his bank, Citigroup, planned to do with student loan burdens.
• Mr. Corbat answered: “We exited student lending in 2009.” 
• Still oblivious to her ignorance, she asked Jamie Dimon of J.P. Morgan what his bank planned to do about student loans.
• Mr. Dimon answered: “When the government took over student lending in 2010 or so, we stopped doing all student lending.” 
• When Walters FINALLY realized how ignorant she looked, she dropped the student loan line of questioning and moved on to small business.

What Walters should have know before going into a public Congressional hearing and making a fool of herself is that prior to 2010, private banks made student loans that were guaranteed by the Federal government. But Obama decided that year to cut the banks out of the student loan business altogether and have the Federal government serve students directly from a loan perspective.

But Walters and her staff were too stupid to do a little research ahead of time and educate themselves on reality. As a result, she shows another example of how ignorant and stupid many Congressional people have been and currently are, people that write, vote and enact laws affecting us all. And it appears that they do so from positions of ignorance and out of touch with reality.

Insecure Congressional computer systems, a racist judge, and Maxine Walters strikes again, making our case yet again for term limits. More insanity to follow.

April, 2019, Part 1, Political Class Insanity: More and More Washington Corruption and Joe Biden Gets Creepy

It is another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let’s get started:

1) Congressional Democrats and liberals went nuts during the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings, desperately wanting to believe that he was a sexual predator from long ago and was not fit to serve on the Supreme Court. They wanted to believe this based only on vague accusations that were all eventually proven to be lies or in a small set of accusation, were never proven.

It should be interesting to see how these same quick to act liberals will react as their leading candidate for President in 2020, Joe Biden, increasingly appears to be a serial fondler of not only woman but young girls, as reported by a recent Freedom Outpost article by Michael Snyder:

• Lucy Flores, a Democratic state politician started the Joe Biden sexual fondler rumors when she recounted an encounter with him years ago when he smelled her hair, touched her without permission, and did other nasty things to her body.
• Now Christian Science Monitor reported Linda Feldman has come forward with another accusation of sexual deviance.
• She was on site in Connecticut doing a story when, “We were at an outdoor event in Glastonbury, the sun blazing overhead, and I noticed the senators standing around chatting. I walked over and introduced myself. Senator Biden greeted me warmly – and then threw a sweaty arm over my shoulder, and gave me a squeeze. I cringed a little internally; I had never met Mr. Biden before. But I chalked the overly friendly gesture up to his personal style, and maybe a generational difference. I proceeded to interview the senators, but the thing I remember most vividly is Mr. Biden’s sweaty arm.”
• Gail Russell Chaddock a Congressional reporter, has come out and said, “Anybody who’s ever been around Joe Biden has been touched by him – literally.”
• Former Congressional aide, Amy Lappos, had a much more disturbing story about Biden as she related to the Hartford Courant: “It wasn’t sexual, but he did grab me by the head. He put his hand around my neck and pulled me in to rub noses with me. When he was pulling me in, I thought he was going to kiss me on the mouth. I never filed a complaint, to be honest, because he was the vice president. I was a nobody. There’s absolutely a line of decency. There’s a line of respect. Crossing that line is not grandfatherly. It’s not cultural. It’s not affection. It’s sexism or misogyny.”
• Even Vox, the severe left leaning Internet news website recently described Biden’s perverted behavior around women: “Biden’s been caught on camera embracing a female reporter from behind and gripping her above her waist, just below her bust. At a swearing-in ceremony for Defense Secretary Ash Carter, Biden put his hands on the shoulders of Stephanie Carter, Carter’s wife, and then leaned in and whispered into her ear. (He’s whispered into many women’s ears.) He’s also touched women’s faces and necks during other photo ops. Once at a swearing-in ceremony for a US senator, he held the upper arm of the senator’s preteen daughter, leaned down and whispered into her ear, as she became visibly uncomfortable. Then he kissed the side of her forehead, a gesture that made the girl flinch.”
• Democrat and liberal loving CNN, via Jake Tapper, also had a severe problem with Biden’s behavior: “I have to say, if any of the men around this table behaved this way at our places of work, we would get reprimanded, we would get potentially even fired. You are not allowed to touch women inappropriately. Again, it doesn’t matter if your intention is sexual or just friendly — you can’t massage a woman’s shoulders and sniff her hair and kiss the back of her head. That’s not appropriate.”

Come on folks, if even Vox and CNN are down on a famous liberal politician you know it must be really bad. These are not rumors like it was for Kavanaugh, there are plenty of video clips to prove that he actually is a nasty sexual fondler. Any other person in America would have either had his face slapped, reprimanded by his business, or arrested by the police. And yet, a career politician has gotten away with this disgusting behavior for decades and there are many on the left side of the political spectrum that actually think he would be a good President.

2) Ilhan Omar is a Muslim Congresswoman from Minnesota. She has made quite a name for herself and her anti-Semite, anti-Israel, anti-American statements over the years. This is obviously her First Amendment right, repugnant as they are to people like myself.

But her First Amendment rights do not protect her if she breaks the laws of the land that she may have actually done according to a Freedom Outpost article Daniel Greenfield on April 2, 2019:

• A criminal investigation is wrapping up back in her home state of Minnesota.
• It involves the misuse of campaign funds and the investigation came at the behest of another Minnesota politician, Steven Drazkowski.
• It is alleged that she improperly or unlawfully spent almost $6,000 of campaign funds for her own personal use, specifically she made payments to her divorce attorney and for her to travel to Boston and Estonia.
• She has previously violated state government ethics rules when she wrongfully took $2,500 in payment for speeches she gave at colleges that get state funding.
• According to the article: “A formal CFB investigation into the Omar committee’s use of campaign money to pay legal fees to her divorce attorney also remains ongoing. According to statements made to the CFB by attorney Carla Kjellberg, Omar's payment to Kjellberg’s law office was reimbursed for services that the Kjellberg firm initially paid for on behalf of the Omar Committee, which would be a violation of state law. Additionally, it appears that the reimbursed expenses may have been related to tax preparation and legal expenses related to immigration.”
• This alleged illegal behavior comes on top of some alleged family hanky panky: “Last year, Alpha News investigated the interesting background of Omar after Powerline Blog writer Scott Johnson indicated Omar may have engaged in marriage fraud. Omar, who publicly identified Ahmed Hirsi to be her husband, is currently married to Elmi – who through extensive investigation appears to be Omar’s brother.”

Anti-Semite, anti-Israel, hateful towards America, alleged campaign fund activities, and marrying your brother to get around immigration laws and rules. She is turning out to be the entire package of despicable political behavior.

3) We have previously talked about some of the insanity and despicable behavior of Congress people but a recent article from the Daily Caller reviewed how politicians in D.C. rigged the system and ethics processes to protect their despicable and corrupt behavior:

• According to the theme of the article: “Congress has designed its bureaucracy to protect incumbents, shielding them from punishment for misconduct and cloaking the institution’s dirty laundry in secrecy. Even members of opposite parties do not go after each other for ethics issues, part of a truce to avoid mutually assured destruction.”
• In 2018 we found out that the House of Representatives maintained a taxpayer funded slush fund to conceal sexual misconduct and bad behavior by Congressional members and their staff.
• Long term Detroit Congressman John Dingell was forced to resign from Congress in 2017 when his sexual misconduct became known but only after decades of such behavior.
• On 2015 he had fired a staffer for not succumbing to his sexual advances but after she filed a complaint, the House Office of Compliance paid her $27,000 in hush money to go away.
• Over the past 20 years the Office Of Compliance has paid out $1 million in taxpayer funds to cover up Congressional sexual misconduct.
• These payments always had to be approved by sitting members of Congress.
• The Office paid out a whopping $220,000 to end allegations of sexual harassment against Congressman Alcee Hastings.
• But the $1 million is probably an underestimate since in some cases Congressional members to pay off people without going through the Office of Compliance.
• They would have an employee who threatened to fire a complaint resign but still kept them secretly on the payroll so that they were still drawing a salary without having to do the job they had.
• They actually had a Congressional lawyer advice members on how to do this: “In fact, the statistics were missing a massive portion of the settlements because Congress’s own human resources lawyer was helping members seemingly break the House’s rules to pay settlements in a way that avoided a paper trail. The lawyer, the House Employment Counsel, advised members that they could pay off would-be whistleblowers by having them resign but continue to sign paychecks for nonexistent work, rather than having the Office of Compliance make a one-time payment from the special settlement fund.”
• For example, a formal report came out that alleged that Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty allowed her chief of staff to resign but still draw his salary after he allegedly punched and threatened a female staff member.
• She admitted to the fraud but said a House lawyer said she could do it.
• According to Daniel Schuman of the Demand Progress group: “Democrats don’t file ethics complaints against Republicans and vice versa because you don’t want the tables turned. They used to call it a Cold War detente: You don’t nuke the Russians and they don’t nuke you.”
• And when the House Ethics Committee investigates itself, it usually takes years and years to complete an investigation in the hope that the Congressional member leaves Congress.
• Even when Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz accepted a $56,000 personal cash gift from a company in 2017, a clear House ethics violation, nothing was done about it.

It’s the foxes guarding the hen house. Unbelievable corruption that is rarely rooted out and only when sunlight is accidentally shined on the offenders. Be it long established, long serving Congress people like Dingell and Wasserman Schultz or newbies like Omar, we continue to be under served by greedy, shallow, and deceptive folks in Washington and elsewhere and the insanity shows no signs of receding.

March, 2018, Part 1, Political Class Insanity: Ignorance, Vanity, Racism, and Guilt Of The Current Set of American Politicians

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let's get started:

1) We often associate political corruption with those in Washington but rampant political corruption also exists at all levels of government including local government, as recently reported by the Allentown (Pa.) Morning Call newspaper:

• Apparently Allentown, Pa. mayor Ed Pawlowski was recently found guilty on a whole slew of corruption charges.
• He was found guilty on 47 charges during his trial and not guilty on 7 charges.
• Most of the charges centered around kickback situations where he “traded contributions to his campaigns for favorable treatment that helped donors get work from the city.”
• A co-conspirator was also found guilty.
• He is likely facing up to ten years in prison according to the laws he was found guilty of breaking.

The good news is that a bad politician finally got what the law said should happen to any lawbreaker. The bad news is we don't know how many other like him in all levels of government are getting away with what he caught doing.

2) In any function of government, whether it is executive, legislative or judicial, we should always want the most qualified candidates for those jobs. This is true not only in government but also in business: why would you put someone less qualified to do a job in a job when there was someone better qualified?

Well, apparently that it is how Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer thinks: rather than filling a recent judicial opening based on qualifications he wants judgeships to be filled based on the race of the candidate, not on the qualifications of the candidate:

• The Senate recently had to vote on whether a gentleman named Marvin Quattlebaum should fill a court vacancy in the South District Court in South Carolina.
• Schumer, as is required under the Constitution, is one of 100 Senators who, in our check and balance system of government, gets to determine if that person should be approved for that judicial seat.
• One would hope that those 100 Senators would base their decision to vote for or against that nomination based on the credentials and abilities of that individual, in this case, Mr. Quattlebaum.
• But not Schumer, he opposed the nominee not because he was not qualified, not because he would not make a good judge but because Mr. Quattlebaum had the nerve to be born to white parents: “The nomination of Marvin Quattlebaum speaks to the overall lack of diversity in President Trump’s selections for the federal judiciary. Quattlebaum replaces not one, but two scuttled Obama nominees who were African American.”
• So apparently it is now an important criteria in selecting judges that their ethnic background be taken into account and the ethnic background of who they are replacing also be taken into account, their credentials and abilities be damned.

This is racism in one of its purest forms: pre-determining an outcome based on race rather than experience or ability. It undermines the entire process of getting the best candidate to fill the position. If Schumer thought Quattlebaum was not qualified, that is certainly his Constitutional perogative to say so. But to reject a candidate out of hand simply because of his race is pure racism at the highest levels of government in this country.

3) If you are having a discussion or debate with someone, you would hope that the person you are debating actually knows what they are talking about.Otherwise, you quickly realize you are arguing with ignorance and why waste your time arguing with someone who knows nothing what they are talking about.

Such was the case with one of our most vocal and yet ignorant politicians of the day, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. In a recent Independent Journal Review article that was covering Wasserman-Schultz try to make the case for more gun control in light of the recent school shootings, she made the following argument: “We moved legislation in the House at that point. We did not — we were not able to get the 60 votes for those proposals in the Senate. But that's not an excuse. I mean, these issues, making sure that we can do something about eliminating military-style weapons from society and only making sure that people who are in the military can utilize them rather than civilians and making sure that we don't have high-capacity rapid-fire magazines that allow mass killings and whose primary purpose is only to achieve that, that's going to solve this problem.”

“Rapid fire magazines?” Sorry, Congresswoman, there is no such thing as rapid fire magazines. The rifle holding the magazine determines whether or not it is “rapid fire,” the magazine itself has nothing to do with the rate of fire. Becomes really difficult to take a politician seriously when their ignorance is on this subject or any subject is so obvious.

4) Let’s conclude the insanity today with a recent Obama speech where he actually claimed that “We [his administration] didn’t have any scandals.” He made this ignorant statement at a recent MIT event, an event that was kept very private and secret with no transcript of his remarks given out to the press.

When a politician makes an inane statement like this you have to sit back and wonder: does he think that we are so enthralled with with he has to say that we ignore the reality of how many scandals he presided over or is he so vain that he actually believes this nonsense? No scandals? Seems to me I remember quite a few:

• You ran one of the least transparent Presidencies of all times as pointed out by the White House Correspondents Association and other journalism organizations.
• You lied about the true cause of the Benghazi terrorist attack in front of the country and the world.
• You shredded the First Amendment rights of millions of Americans when you weaponized the IRS to deter Republican, Tea Party, and conservative organizations from getting non-profit approval from the IRS.
• You broke domestic and international laws and treaties and placed military grade weapons and equipment in the hands of violent drug cartels via your failed Fast and Furious program.
• You shredded the Fourth Amendment rights of millions of Americans by collecting just about every electronic communications they made without due cause and without a legitimate warrant process.
• You lied hundreds of times about what Obama Care would do the health care and health insurance of millions of Americans by falsely promising they could keep their doctors, their health care plans, and current hospitals when you knew full well that was not going to happen under your signature Obama Care legislation.
• You allowed your Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, to operate a money laundering/crime syndicate scheme under the guise of the faux Clinton Foundation charity which grossly and personally enriched the Clinton family.
• You allowed your Secretary of State to use an unsecured computer server in her home, breaking lord knows how many government tenets and laws.
• You allowed numerous high ranking people in your administration, including yourself, to use fake email ids in violation of existing Federal laws.
• You made Freedom of Information Act requests very difficult and time consuming to obtain and in the process violated both the spirit and the law of that piece of legislation.
• You weaponized the intelligence operations in this country to go after journalists that were simply critical of your administration, e.g. James Rosen, Sharyl Attkisson and others.
• You traded highly dangerous terrorist leaders for a sole Army deserter named Bowe Bergdahl while ignoring the grief and sorrow of families of soldiers who lost their lives or who were wounded looking for the deserter.

Let’s stop here, anymore would be overkilling an obviously vain or ignorant statement of the former President. Either way, vanity or ignorance is not a trait we should encourage in our political leaders but they are two traits that are usually stronger than integrity, brains, and will.

That will do it for today’s political class insanity: a former President is ignorant or vain, a current Congresswoman is ignorant, a current Senator is a racist, and a mayor is guilty. Quite the array of “leaders” we have leading the country today. More insanity to follow.

November, 2017, Political Class Insanity: The Scandal That Is Hillary Clinton, Part 1

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

We are going to dedicate a couple of days to the latest insanity that has been coming out regarding the corrupt and unethical behavior of leaders in the Democratic Party, specifically Hillary Clinton, her staff, and their shenanigans.

1) Let’s start out with a quick summary we put forth in our last post regarding the latest revelations by Donna Brazile who became the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee in the midst of the Presidential race in 2016:

• Brazile thought that Obama was a leech to the Democratic Party, that he only used the Party for his own ego and personal causes which helped drive the DNC into near bankruptcy.
• According to Brazile: “We had three Democratic parties: The party of Barack Obama, the party of Hillary Clinton, and this weak little vestige of a party led by (Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz) that was doing a very poor job getting people who were not president elected.”
• Furthermore: “This was not working to strengthen the party. He [Obama] left it in debt. Hillary bailed it out so that she could control it, and Debbie went along with all of this because she liked the power and perks of being a chair but not the responsibilities.”

Let’s move from these basics to more detailed insanity from Hillary and her minions last year.

2) Ben Shapiro, writing for the Daily Wire website on November 2, 2017, filled in some details on what Brazile has revealed about the unethical workings of the Clinton campaign:

• After reading what Brazile has released from her forthcoming book, Shapiro summarizes her conclusions that Hillary was the villainess, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was incompetent and lazy, and Obama was “the unnamed cancer that ate away at the center of the party.”
• Brazile realized the Hillary had indeed rigged the nomination process of the Democratic Party and she regretted having to be the one to tell Bernie Sanders that he had been short circuited in his plan to become President.
• Wasserman-Schultz, the predecessor to Brazile as head of the Democratic National Committee, was inept and a disaster: “My predecessor, Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, had not been the most active chair in fundraising at a time when President Barack Obama’s neglect had left the party in significant debt. As Hillary’s campaign gained momentum, she [Clinton]resolved the party’s debt and put it on a starvation diet. It had become dependent on her campaign for survival, for which she expected to wield control of its operations.”
• Brazile claims that Wasserman-Schultz turned the operations of the Democratic Party over to the Clinton camp before the primaries started which allowed Clinton to control all party functions to her advantage.
• Brazile claims that Obama help lead the party to being broke with a $24 million debt on the books when Brazile took over the DNC.
• This debt hole allowed Clinton to step in and eliminate the debt but only by assuming control of all Democratic Party operations.
• According to Brazile, the CFO of the Hillary campaign, Gary Gensler, “described the party as fully under the control of Hillary’s campaign, which seemed to confirm the suspicions of the Bernie camp. The campaign had the DNC on life support, giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses, while the campaign was using the party as a fund-raising clearing house.”
• Shapiro described the Hillary takeover of the Democratic Party as a money laundering operation since while she raised a bunch of campaign money, almost all of that money went to her campaign and she only allocated less than one half of 1 percent of all money raised to the states,” as described by Brazile: “When the Politico story described this arrangement as “essentially … money laundering” for the Clinton campaign, Hillary’s people were outraged at being accused of doing something shady. Bernie’s people were angry for their own reasons, saying this was part of a calculated strategy to throw the nomination to Hillary.”
• Shapiro and others conclude that Bernie Sanders campaign got robbed of a fair fight for the nominations which Brazile describes the reality: “The funding arrangement with HFA and the victory fund agreement was not illegal, but it sure looked unethical. If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead.”

Wow, talk about cutthroat and unethical behavior. Step in and take over a bankrupt political party and then use the machinery of that party for her benefit to the detriment of all others in the party. 

2) Let’s review some other quotes from Brazile regarding Hillary, Barack, and the 2016 Presidential campaign:

• “We had three Democratic parties: The party of Barack Obama, the party of Hillary Clinton, and this weak little vestige of a party led by (Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz) that was doing a very poor job getting people who were not president elected.”
• “This [Obama’s actions and/or inaction] was not working to strengthen the party. He left it in debt. Hillary bailed it out so that she could control it, and Debbie went along with all of this because she liked the power and perks of being a chair but not the responsibilities.”

Bernie never had a chance, the embedded political class politicians in charge of the Democratic Party nominating process either weakened it or took charge of it for their own selfish and greedy purposes.

Wow, enough scandal and unethical behavior for one day. But certainly not a surprise, given the Clinton Crime Syndicate’s behavior we have talked about previously, what the Clintons want the Clintons go for in any way possible, be it personal wealth or the Presidency of the United States.

November,2017, Part 9, Political Class Insanity: A $6 TRILLION Foreign Affairs Mistake and The Nonsense Of the Democratic Party

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

1) One of the biggest spenders, and wasters, of taxpayer wealth has almost always been the Pentagon. Although it varies year to year, recent Pentagon budgets have usually been between $600 and $700 billion a year. A tremendous amount of money to be spent to defend the country.

And one reason why the budget may be so high is that the Washington political class has used and abused the Pentagon’s fighting resources to stick its nose into the business of countries around the world. And the success rate of these intrusions to other countries affairs has usually made a bad situation worse:

• After 9-11, Bush invaded both Afghanistan and Iraq in search of Bin Laden and to destroy terrorist nations and havens.
• This resulted in basically destroying two nations and two societies and helping spread terrorism even further throughout the Middle East.
• Obama took over and promised to have us militarily out of Afghanistan by 2014, another in a long list of busted promises.
• Not only are we still militarily in Afghanistan but Obama’s military strategies have allowed the Taliban to become almost as strong as they were when our intrusion began.
• In Iraq, against the advice of his military and diplomatic advisors, Obama withdrew all significant U.S. military personnel from the country in order to have a talking point in the 2012 Presidential election.
• Although he promised at the time that Iraq was secure, safe and democratic, with the withdrawal of U.S. troops, ISIS, the most heinous terrorist group of all time took root and shredded not only Iraq but Syria also.
• Obama poohed poohed ISIS, calling them the JV of terror groups, an assessment that could not have been further from the truth.
• Obama then began meddling in the Syrian civil war, looking like a fool when he drew “a red line” relative to chemical weapon use by the Syrian military and then did nothing when the Syrian military actually used chemical weapons.
• Obama also got us militarily involved in the Libyan civil war which went very badly, creating another terrorist haven in the Middle East.
• In addition, Obama dropped bombs and missiles on six different Middle Eastern countries in 2016 and probably earlier at the rate of over 20,000 a year.

Given our activity in all of these Middle East regions in the name of fighting terrorism, we are probably no better off from a safety perspective then we were when the first troops invaded Afghanistan under Bush. As we said above, the Taliban are resurgent in Afghanistan. Iran, our arch enemy, is vying for control in Iraq. The Syrian civil war continues unabated, creating ISIS terrorists everyday. Libya is a mess and Yemen, a country often bombed by U.S. forces under Obama, is being influenced by Iran and creating tensions with Saudi Arabia.

What a frigging and expensive mess. How expensive? Consider some research and analysis that was completed by Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs:

• According to their estimates, the U.S. will have spent nearly $6 TRILLION between 2001 and 2018 to pay for our military intrusions into Middle East affairs and wars.
• This $6 TRILLION comes out to over $23,000 for every individual American taxpayer or over $1,200 per every American taxpayer every year for 18 years.
• While a Pentagon study, the “Estimated Cost to Each Taxpayer for the Wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria,” put the total at only $1.5 TRILLION, that is only for military costs.
• The Brown University study also looked at related costs not directly tied to Pentagon combat including Homeland security, State Department,and Veterans Affairs.
• Despite being more comprehensive, the Brown study thinks their $6 TRILLION might be too low: “This report has not included here state and local government expenses related to medical care of veterans and homeland security. Nor does this report calculate the macroeconomic costs of war for the US economy. And while this report discusses some of the ways that families bear the burden of caring for seriously veterans [sic], I have not added a value for the costs of their uncompensated care.”
• The $6 TRILLION is a whopping 30% of the entire Federal Government's debt burden.
• Besides the hard military costs, there are human suffering costs also since nearly 7,000 American servicemen have died and over 52,500 have been injured in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East.

Incredible costs expended by the country by the Washington political class and what do we have to show for it? Not much. We have been attacked multiple times within our borders by Islamic terrorists, from the Boston Marathon to a bike path in Manhattan to an office party in San Bernardino, to dozens of places in between. Islamic terrorism is spreading around the world, from Africa to China. So for $6 TRILLION and 7,000 lost lives, the political class has delivered basically nothing, a foreign affairs failure unprecedented in American history.

2) Donna Brazile used to work for CNN. When things got dicy for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Democratic Party in 2016, she replaced then current DNC chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and as a result she had an insider view of what went down behind the scenes during the 2016 Presidential campaign.

She has been in the news lately, talking about what actually happened back in those campaign days via her new book, “Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House.” And what happened apparently is not pretty. We are going to discuss what her accusations and claims are in the next few days but as a teaser of how juicy her book is likely to be, we now know that she had the following opinions of major Democratic politicians from the past few years:

• She thought that Obama was a leech to the Democratic Party, that he only used the Party for his own ego and personal causes which helped drive the DNC into near bankruptcy.
• According to Brazile: “We had three Democratic parties: The party of Barack Obama, the party of Hillary Clinton, and this weak little vestige of a party led by (Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz) that was doing a very poor job getting people who were not president elected.”
• Furthermore: “This was not working to strengthen the party. He [Obama] left it in debt. Hillary bailed it out so that she could control it, and Debbie went along with all of this because she liked the power and perks of being a chair but not the responsibilities.”

Fascinating and depressing stuff, assuming Brazile is telling the truth. Remember, Brazile is the CNN employee that compromised the integrity of a Trump/Clinton debate by giving Clinton the debate questions ahead of time. 

But if she is telling the truth, which is more than likely given what we know from other sources about the giant ego of Obama, the tyrannical ethos of Hillary Clinton, and the ineptness of Wasserman-Schultz, then this stuff is political gold. A leech, a controller, and an incompetent, these are the types of people inhabiting the American political class today. Scary insanity.

September, 2017, Part 6, Political Class Insanity: All Kinds Of Insanity From Schumer, Hillary, and Wasserman-Schultz

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

1) Trump caused quite the ruffling of Democratic feathers recently when he said that he would give Congress six months to fix the so-called “Dreamer” problem as it related to illegal immigration. Basically, Obama unilaterally and illegally enacted legislation during his term which said that the Federal government would not deport illegal immigrants from this country if they illegally entered this country as children. The theory being that a child should not be made illegal because of an illegal action by their parents. 

Trump put forth a very logical and fair policy. He would allow Congress six months to fix Obama’s illegal action and return the country to Constitutional and representative government where elected representatives represent the views of voters and the President does not rule by decree. No one would be deported in the six month window that Trump gave Congress to fix the problem legally.

But the Democrats were besides themselves and saw this as another opportunity to make Trump out to be pure evil. The leader of the opposition was Senator Chuck Schumer who seemed to be everywhere in the media decrying Trump’s heartless and evil action.

But according to Amber Athey, writing for the Daily Caller website on September 6, 2017, Mr. Schumer has a little/lot of hypocrisy going on:

• Back in 2009, Schumer stated publicly that “Illegal immigration is wrong.”
• He gave a speech back then at an immigration conference at Georgetown University and strongly argued against the concept of illegal immigration: “The American people are fundamentally pro-legal immigration and anti-illegal immigration.We will only pass comprehensive reform when we recognize this fundamental concept.”
• He went on to say that, “First, illegal immigration is wrong and a primary goal of comprehensive immigration reform must be to dramatically curtail future illegal immigration.”

So when Trump proposes that Congress get its act together and pass comprehensive immigration reform, “as a fundamental concept,” and return Constitutional behavior to the country, Schumer goes off and calls him heartless even though he called for the exact same behavior 8 years ago. Insanity.

2) But Schumer was not the only hypocrite in the Democratic Party ranks. Hillary Clinton, a person who continues to stay around well past her over ripe date, also decried Trump’s actions. But given the beauty of historical video, we can see she was even more of a hypocrite than Schumer when it comes to “Dreamer” kids. 

Amy Moreno of the Truth Feed News website on September 8, 2017 reported on how Hillary once said that “Dreamers” cannot stay in this country. And she was quite specific and blatant about it, saying that the country must send a “clear message - just because your child got across the border, doesn’t mean your child gets to stay.” This position is even more heartless than Trump’s. At least Trump gave a six month window to fix the problem, Hillary is saying basically, “get out.”

3) Let’s stay with Hillary insanity since, again, she refuses to go away. Phoenix Brooks, writing for the US Chronicle website recently reported that in a speech Hillary gave at the 84th annual Convention of Mayors, she argued that so-called “secret money” had to be removed out of the American electoral system: “I don’t say this as a Democrat, I say this as an American, I think we are really skating on thin ice. It’s getting to the point where we have no idea where the money is coming from. It’s not being disclosed, it could be foreign government money.”

While I completely agree with her concept, let’s be honest, Hillary is not the one to be talking about secret money or secret anything for that matter. This is a person who basically ran a crime syndicate while she was Secretary of State. She traded government favors for contributions to the Clinton Foundation which served as a front for her husband to make tens of millions of dollars giving half ass speeches to those organizations and countries that contributed to the Clinton Foundation charity.

This is a person whose foundation failed to report donations from foreign governments, funneling the donations through a Canadian front organization before moving it into this country, basically a form of money laundering.

This is a person who had a secret unsecured server in her house and then refused to turn over secret emails that passed through that illegal secret server.

This is a person who oversaw a charity, non-profit foundation that is currently under investigation for possibly violating laws that ban “foreign governments and corporations from donating to American politicians in an effort to influence them to provide political favors.”

Hillary is the last person in the world who should talk about the need to “restore confidence and trust” in the United States government, as Ms. Brooks points out: “The statement about the need to restore confidence and trust in the United States government may have been the most comical point that Clinton made during her speech. Clinton has become such an untrustworthy individual in American politics, that there has been no end to the memes dedicated to her lack of trustworthiness.” Insanity.

4) We have already covered some of the following insanity but it keeps on growing and getting worse. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has been entangled in a scandal where she allowed foreign nationals to operate her data systems requirements as a member of Congress. She also recommended her data systems people to other members of Congress and almost two dozen Congressional members took her up on her recommendation. These actions allowed foreign nationals to have access to emails, documents, and computers of many members of Congress.

Things eventually went south for Wasserman-Schultz and her data systems friends. People started leaving the country, suspicious money trails developed, and the head of the operations was arrested at the airport with plans to leave the country for Pakistan. He has since been indicted on four felony counts, mostly related to potentially illegal financial transactions. 

When police went to his house, they found smashed hard discs from computers, raising even more suspicions. When Capitol police refused to turn over a laptop that belonged to Wasserman-Schultz’s office because it was part of a criminal investigation, Wasserman-Schultz came unhinged and actually threatened the chief of the Capitol police.

And now we have the latest twist in the scandal, as reported by the Twitchy website on September 7, 2017:

• Apparently, Capitol police found that contested computer laptop from Wasserman-Schultz’s office stashed in a phone booth at 3:00 am in early April.
• Attached to the laptop was a note from that top data systems guy, the one that we cited above who was arrested at the airport about to leave the country.
• The police found the laptop in a tiny room that was once a phone booth in the Rayburn House Office Building.
• Next to the laptop was a Pakistani id card, the driver’s license of Wasserman-Schultz’s head data systems guy, his Congressional ID badge, letters to the U.S Attorney General, and a notebook labeled “attorney-client privilege.”

As we stated above, we now know why Wasserman-Schultz was so anxious/desperate to get her hands on the laptop, going so far as to threaten the police chief. Looks like the data system guy was making sure that the truth came out since he was going to leave the country. Should be interesting to see what was actually in that letter, that notebook, and on that computer, more political class insanity and possibly criminal activity.

That will do it for today’s insanity: a desperate, scandal ridden Congresswoman, Hillary’s delusions and hypocrisy, and Schumer’s words come back to bite him. One more dose of insanity to follow.
