January, 2016, Part 2, Political Class Insanity: Corruption In Massachusetts, Budget Insanity and Low Ethics In Washington, and EPA Law Breaking

It is the start of another month which means it is time for our monthly review of the latest political class insanity that continually spews forth from America’s politicians. Their actions, words, quotes, incompetency, and general ineptness continue to reinforce our theory that we are currently being served by the worst set of politicians in the history of the nation.

As you read about the latest shenanigans and ineptness of the political class, keep in mind what should be their priorities in these difficult times and compare this list to what they are actually working on:

NBC recently reported that ISIS forces are getting larger and stronger despite the Obama administration spending billions of dollars on a failed air campaign and military strategy.
The stock market is stalling.
Job creation is barely keeping up with population growth.
Wage growth is anemic, growing just .2% in the second quarter, the lowest quarterly growth since 1982.
The labor participation rate is at the lowest level in decades because the Obama economy cannot generate enough jobs.
Thousands of veterans are still not getting the medical care they were promised by the Federal government.
45 million Americans are still receiving monthly Federal food assistance.
Our borders still leak and thousands of illegal immigrant criminals continue to walk our streets.
Major programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are hurtling towards insolvency and lose hundreds of billions of dollars every year to fraud and mismanagement.
Our kids are still getting lousy public educations at most public schools.
The IRS and other government functions seem to be getting their computer systems hacked on a regular basis, exposing tens of millions of Americans to identity theft potential.
Obama Care is a failure along so many dimensions as health care costs continue to soar despite the Obama promise that they would decrease.
Annual Federal deficits, while down, are still about half a TRILLION a year meaning that even though the Federal government is collecting more in taxes than ever before, it still cannot run a balanced budget.

Again, keep these real crises in mind as you read what our politicians are actually doing, saying and wasting.

1) The politicians within the Washington political class always seem to be telling us what to think, how to act, give them more of our wealth in the form of taxes, and to trust them. What do Americans think of being told what to do by these people? Should we trust them like we may have trusted them in the past?

According to a new Gallup poll, most Americans have a very low trust level of today’s politicians:

64% of those polled say that they rate the honesty and ethical standards of Congressional members as either low or very low.
In contrast, 85% rate the honesty and ethical standards of nurses as high or very high. Talk about a world of difference in integrity between two professions.
Americans are SEVEN times more likely to rate the honesty and ethical standards of police officers as high or very high, 56%, vs. the only 8% who rate the honesty and ethical standards of members of Congress as high or very high.
Of the 20 professions used in the Gallup study, members of Congress had the highest percentage of rating their honesty and ethical standards as low or very low.
Even lobbyists, the scourge of Washington and American taxpayers, and lowly telemarketers rate higher in honesty and ethical standards than members of Congress.
Pharmacists and medical doctors ranked second and third for their honesty and ethical standards, with a combined 68% and 67% respectively rating them as either high or very high.
I find it ironic that politicians are often telling nurses, pharmacists, and doctor what to do via Obama Care and telling police officers how to behave when the honesty and ethical standards of these same politicians are a fraction of what these other professions enjoy.

I doubt that America has ever had lower faith and trust in the politicians in Washington. And while this low rating is richly deserved, given how poorly these people have served the country, this is not good news for the country. It will be near impossible to unite the country and proceed forward with unifying solutions to the issues facing Americans if we do not trust anything that those in power do or say.

It is just insane that people in such powerful positions can be held in such low esteem. That is why term limits are so important because really, how much worse could it be if we threw every Washington politician out of office and replaced them with other Americans?

The level of trust in Congress would probably go up, a very low bar to exceed given the Gallup results, and any progress in resolving our major issues would be an improvement in what lack of progress we have lived through with our current politicians in Congress.

2) Congress just passed a massive Federal government spending bill and it is a disaster on so many fronts:

First of all, it is for $1.1 TRILLION which means that there are a whole lot of hiding places for wasteful and fraudulent spending.
It is a massive 2,242 pages long, reinforcing our conclusion that there are a lot of hiding places for waste.
According to Senator Rand Paul, he voted against this travesty of legislating since: “It was over a trillion dollars, it was all lumped together, 2,242 pages, nobody read it, so frankly my biggest complaint is that I have no idea what kind of things they stuck in the bill. I voted against it because I won’t vote for these enormous bills that no one has a chance to read. We were given it yesterday or the day before the bill came forward, and so this is not a way to run government. It’s a part of the reason why government is broke.”

One day to read a 2,242 page piece of legislation that will definitely add hundreds of billions of dollars to the national debt, come nowhere near to balancing the budget, and is a fraud and a sham of Congressional responsibility. Congressional people do not have a lot to do besides oversee government operations and responsibly spending taxpayer wealth. This little incident shows that they are terrible at doing both.

3) A Heritage Foundation article by Daren Bakst on December 14, 2015 reporting on how the EPA broke Federal law with so-called “covert propaganda” on social media sites relative to a water ruling and regulation it was pushing. According to the New York Times, “[t]he Environmental Protection Agency engaged in ‘covert propaganda’ in violation of federal law when it blitzed social media to urge the general public to support President Obama’s controversial [water] rule[.]” This report was based on the conclusions of the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

Besides being a stupid rule and regulation along many dimensions, as the Heritage article documents, this is just another example of how the law of the land only applies to the Obama administration and the Federal government when it serves their purposes. In other words, for those in Washington, laws are merely suggestions, but for the rest of us, laws are requirements.

4) While there is no doubt that Washington politicians are corrupt and inept, that diseases is not restricted to Washington. Consider the case of a state politician from Massachusetts:

John George is a former Massachusetts state politician.
In early 12015, was convicted for embezzling money from a taxpayer-subsidized bus company he owned (how this was not a conflict of interest from day one is beyond me).
Now he is in trouble again, according to Boston’s WCVB, since he apparently stashed $1 million in cash in safety deposit boxes which he did not report on his taxes, something he was required to do back in July, 2015 when he was sentenced for his embezzling.
At that time he claimed he only had $160,000 in bank accounts and $28,000 in cash.
U.S. Marshals found the hidden cash when they got access to boxes in several different banks.
The cash was in rolls of small bills which must have required a set of large boxes, a million dollars in small bills has to take up a lot of room.

Just another example that verifies the Gallup finding on honesty and ethical behavior cited above: we are currently be served, or not served, by the most inept and corrupt set of politicians in the history of this country, both at the national level and at least in one instance in Massachusetts.

January 2016, Part 1, Political CLass Insanity: The TSA, VA and Medicare Continue to Stink At What They Do

NBC recently reported that ISIS forces are getting larger and stronger despite the Obama administration spending billions of dollars on a failed air campaign and military strategy.
The stock market is stalling.
Job creation is barely keeping up with population growth.
Wage growth is anemic, growing just .2% in the second quarter, the lowest quarterly growth since 1982.
The labor participation rate is at the lowest level in decades because the Obama economy cannot generate enough jobs.
Thousands of veterans are still not getting the medical care they were promised by the Federal government.
45 million Americans are still receiving monthly Federal food assistance.
Our borders still leak and thousands of illegal immigrant criminals continue to walk our streets.
Major programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are hurtling towards insolvency and lose hundreds of billions of dollars every year to fraud and mismanagement.
Our kids are still getting lousy public educations at most public schools.
The IRS and other government functions seem to be getting their computer systems hacked on a regular basis, exposing tens of millions of Americans to identity theft potential.
Obama Care is a failure along so many dimensions as health care costs continue to soar despite the Obama promise that they would decrease.

Again, keep these real crises in mind as you read what our politicians are actually doing, saying and wasting.

1) We often debate in this blog what is the most inept, ineffective Federal government entity. While a number of different agencies are often incompetent enough to grab this title, it is usually the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that wins out. This is critical since national security is currently a big concern for most Americans.

Our President keeps telling us that we are safe despite recent terrorist attacks in California and France, the rise of ISIS, and leaky U.S. borders. He keeps asserting that he and his administration are on top of the whole terrorist problem and for us not to worry, led by the TSA and DHS.

However, a recent news story kind of undermines this Presidential viewpoint. American Airlines announced that hundreds of its airport security badges have disappeared at various airports across the country. These badges allow possessors of those badges to bypass airport security checkpoints at airports. Given how wealthy the leading terror organization, ISIS, has become, it does not take a genius to figure out how valuable those missing airport badges would be to a would be terrorist and how much they would be willing and able to pay for them.

Just a little something else to worry about during your travels, is that airport employee real or is he a terrorist with a fake badge, brought to you by the Federal government and the TSA?

2) Prior to the Obama administration, the Secret Service would probably have ranked very high in competence vs. the rest of the Federal government. It had never been involved in any scandals or had royally screwed up in its job functions in any way. It had been fifty years since a President had been assassinated. This looked like one government organization that was efficient and effective and competent.

That illusion has certainly been shattered in the past few years. People have successfully jumped the fence surrounding the White House, with one fence jumper actually getting deep into the White House itself. The White House windows have been shot out be a drive by shooter. Just prior to a Presidential visit to Columbia, Secret Service agents were caught partying with prostitutes that may have been funded by drug cartels.

To this tawdry set of incidents we now can add another tale of Secret Service incompetence. According to CNN, a Secret Service agent recently had his gun, badge, radio, handcuffs, and computer flash drive stolen in the middle of the day from his car that was parked near the Secret Service headquarters in D.C. Not only were they stolen from his car, the agent had left the stolen items in a car that, according to the police report, had a window that had been “unzipped,” making stealing anything from the agent’s vehicle easy and not need to have a window broken.

As always, you cannot make this stuff up when it comes to government incompetence. A Secret Service agent, who works on the Presidential Protection detail, leaves his gun and other important material in a car that has a zip out window and parks it on a busy street in D.C. How lax, how amateurish, how stupid can one be? And this President wants to take control over all of our guns when a trained Secret Service agent cannot even protect his own gun? Insanity.

3) One reason writing this blog is so easy to write is that politicians constantly think that they can make up facts and reality and that we are too stupid to not checkout the validity of their claims, making them appear to be the outright, pathological liars that they mostly are. Our current President is particularly active in asserting things that are just not reality.

And apparently his former Secretary of State has the same problem with truth. In a recent Presidential debate, Hillary proclaimed that Donald Trump is being used as a recruiting tool for the terror group, ISIS. She claimed that ISIS is using videos of Trump to recruit others throughout the world to their cause.

Bad claim to make without having the proof. Since her accusation, no one has been able to find any videos from any terror group that is using Trump as a recruiting tool. What has been uncovered, though, as a result of her claim, is that her husband, Bill Clinton, is being featured in ISIS video recruiting videos. A four-minute ISIS video released last month, “No Respite,” includes an image of Bill Clinton, who is called a “fornicator,” a probable reference to his affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, among many others. The video also showed pictures of Bush and Obama.

Note to Hillary and her staff: do not spread lies that can be easily checked out for facts, especially if your own husband is playing the role that you accuse your political opponent of playing. In other words, stay in integrity and don’t be stupid.

4) We have already discussed today another adventure in incompetence from the TSA but the Veterans Administration (VA) almost always gives the TSA a run for its money for ineptness. Recently the VA mistakenly declared that 115 veterans were dead but in reality, they were still alive. Unfortunately, by declaring these living veterans to be dead veterans these vets had their government benefits terminated for no reason.

The VA admitted their mistake in a letter to Congress and promised to do better in the future. But given that the VA has made many promises over the years to improve all aspects of how veterans are treated and has failed on just about every one of them, Lord knows how good this new promise will be, especially since the VA stated that it could not determine the root cause for the false termination alive or dead status. If you do not know what caused a problem in the first place, resolving that problem without the right root causes can be a little challenging.

To show how comical and out of control this problem is, Philip Klein writing for the Washington Examiner, reported that Carl Colamonico was not only prematurely declared dead by the VA but they also had recorded that he been buried in Riverside National Cemetery and that he was incorrectly listed as a World War II vet when he actually was a Vietnam vet. Thus, the VA screwed up everything: he was alive not dead, he was upright, not buried and he was a Vietnam vet, not a World War II vet. Cannot be more wrong than what they did to poor Carl. Insane.

5) Alright, today we have embarrassing failures from the TSA and VA so let’s add another Federal agency into today's disaster mix, the Medicare operation. According to a recent article from the Senior America Association, written by Greg Allen on December 17, 2015:

Twenty four year old Daniel Suarez ran what appeared to be a successful pharmacy operation, especially since he already owned a Rolls Royce and Bentley at the tender young age of 24.
However, what he was really doing was running a criminal operation that had up until recently scammed the Medicare program out of an amazing $21 million of dollars.
Fortunately, he was finally caught running his Medicare scam, was sentenced to nine years in prison and his mother and three other family members were also sentenced to jail.
But this was not before he had purchased a Rolls Royce Ghost, a Bentley, a Range Rover, a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG and two unidentified luxury cars with some of the stolen Medicare funds.
The Mercedes sells about $160,000 while the Rolls sells for about $300,000, according to Car and Driver.
This 24 year old also owned two homes, more than a dozen trucks, $100,000 in jewelry, and over $2 million in credit card charges.
This Cuban immigrant and his relatives were all licensed pharmacy techs and operated eight small pharmacies in the Miami area from which they paid patients and recruiters to gain access to Medicare ID numbers.
They then billed Medicare for drugs that were never actually dispensed.

Disgusting. This caper raises some very serious questions on how incompetent Medicare is:

Why did this obvious fraud go on so long, long enough for this 24 year old to buy cars, trucks, homes, and run up millions of dollars in credit card charges?
Doesn’t the Medicare system have some kind of sanity check points in their data systems to help identify these types of outrageous scams from small pharmacies long before they lose millions of taxpayer dollars to these criminals?
Given how simple this fraud was to set up, how many other times is this type of fraud going on across the country, how many billions of dollars is it costing the American taxpayer every day of every year, and what steps, if any, is Medicare taking to shut this insanity down?

Again, disgusting. This is why no American, rich or poor, should pay an additional penny in taxes, not when the political class allows such massive and easy-to-get-away with fraud to go on.

First political class insanity report of the month, much more to go. But in early returns, the TSA, the VA and Medicare continue to prove every month that they are some of the most inept and poorly run government organizations to ever exist.

The Obama Era, Part 4: Memories From The Worst Presidency Ever?

What is the Difference and Why Does Obama Always Say I.S.I.L.

Here is an explanation of the difference between the terms ISIS and ISIL.

ISIS = Islamic State of Iraq and Syria . Iraq is to the east of Jordan (shaped like the hatchet) and Syria is to the north.

ISIL = Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant . Iraq is still to the east of Jordan, and “the Levant” is a term that comes from “the rising (of the sun, i.e., to the east)” - and is basically the land along the Mediterranean - that includes Lebanon , Israel , and those countries along there.

By saying ISIL, you “negate” Israel as its own country and lump it in with the rest of the countries along the Mediterranean - and Israel sort of disappears (loses its sovereignty) and becomes part of “the Levant ” - which is therefore part of ISIL.

If you've wondered, as I have, why all government agencies and especially BHO calls it ISIL and even spells it out every time it's used, instead of ISIS as the rest of the world here's the answer.

In one press conference after another, when referring to the Muslim terror super-group ISIS, United States President Barack Obama will use the term ISIL, instead of their former name ISIS , or current name Islamic State.

Have you ever wondered about that? Here is the difference:

What makes up the near exact center of the Muslim Levant ? Israel .

ISIL stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.

Now, to us Westerners we don't really make much of a distinction, do we?

No, honestly from our perspective it’s all about the same. But how would a Muslim living in the Middle East view it?

Just what is the Levant anyway? Let’s take a look.

The geographical term LEVANT refers to a multi-nation region in the Middle East . It’s a land bridge between Turkey to the north and Egypt to the south.

If you look on a map, however, in the near exact middle of the nations that comprise the Levant , guess what you see? Come on, guess!

It’s Israel. When Barack Obama refers over and over to the Islamic State as ISIL, he is sending a message to Muslims all over the Middle East, that he personally does not recognize Israel as a sovereign nation, but as territory belonging to the Islamic State.

Now you know why Obama says that he has no plan, no goal, and no stated aim for dealing with ISIS . But he does have a plan. Obama’s plan is to drag his feet for as long as he can, doing only the bare minimum that Congress forces him to do. His plan to buy ISIL as much time as possible to make as many gains as they can.

Listen as Obama and his press secretary and the spokesperson for the State Department and his Joint Chiefs of Staff painstakingly spells out the letters I-S-I-L so there is no doubt in your mind.

And it’s working.

The Islamic State has garnered millions of dollars, a vast cache of weapons, and in their latest foray have captured Syrian fighter jets and now 12 commercial passenger planes. With each passing day that Obama fulfills his stated aim of doing nothing, the Islamic State grows by leaps and bounds. The ultimate goal, of course, has not changed and will never change.

The ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel.

Now you know a little bit more about why Obama chooses his words so carefully.

I will remember a lot about this Presidency, almost all of it very forgettable, regrettable and often disgusting, as we have discussed over the past three days. President Obama could have been one of the most impactful Presidents of all time. He came into office with sky high popularity and approval ratings. His party had a sizable majority in the House Of Representatives. He had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. The country was ready to turn away from the Republican party.

But let’s review. We have had a President who sits silent and allows ordinary Americans with intelligent, informed, contrary opinions to be slandered and demeaned by his political allies.

He uses deception as he tries to incite different segments of America against each other for his political gain.

Every one of his economic policies have been failures.

It is always all about him.

He tramples on the principles laid out in the Constitution, ignoring the rule of law as he sees as convenient, often trampling the liberties and rights of Americans in the process.

Often it seems like his golf game, his fund raising trips, and his vacations are more important than running and leading the country.

His foreign policy activities have mostly been failures, failures that are dwarfed by the unfolding disaster known as Obama Care.

He has not resolved, or even come close to presenting coherent plans to address the major issues of our times while the faulty operational aspects of the Federal government continue to be redundant, wasteful, inefficient, and ineffective.

But the biggest reason for his disasters is his narcissistic inability to take personal responsibility for his actions and subsequent failures. It is never his fault. Someone else always ruins his plans. This lack of humility means a person never looks inward to see how he or she could improve. And a President without the ability to self evaluate and improve ends up leading a country that does not improve.

And that is what I will remember most: this country, our freedoms, our democracy, and our financial well being are in far worse shape today than they were on that long ago day in January, 2009 when the Obama Error began.

The Obama Era, Part 3: Memories From The Worst Presidency Ever?

We are coming up on the end of another year so I thought it might be a good time to review everything that I remember about the Obama administration. He has been in office for seven years, seven long years that in my opinion have been horrific in so many ways. This was someone who entered office with approval ratings that were above 70% and who represented the so-called “hope and change” that many Americans were seeking.

Seven years later hope has become very scarce and change has almost always been for the worst. Now, before someone says that I am just a sour grapes Republican, conservative, or neo-con, understand that I have never voted for a Republican for President in my life (I started voting in the 1970s). Up until 2010, I had never voted for Republican for national office in my life. I fully support gay rights and respect a woman’s legal right to an abortion. Thus, none of what you are about to read over the next few days comes from a Republican sour grapes perspective.

But unless you have had completely had your head in the sand or elsewhere, this has been the worst Presidency that I have experienced in my lifetime. From horrid legislation (e.g. Obama Care) to a failed foreign policy (e.g. Syria) to daily lawlessness on the part of this administration (e.g. use of unsecured email accounts by high ranking administration members), the ineptness and ineffectiveness of this administration is mind boggling.

Thus, given this set up, in no particular order, this is what I will remember about the Obama Presidency:

- I remember that Obama found time in his first term, a period of time, marked by high unemployment and stagnant economic growth, to film a television commercial for the George Lopez show, to appear on The View television show, to appear on Oprah’s television show, to jet off to Europe to lobby for his home town of Chicago to get a Summer Olympics (an effort that failed miserably), and to conduct an untold number of photo ops with athletic teams, college and professional, despite promising that if elected President he would devote his entire life to serving Americans.

- I will remember how peeved Obama was when American aid worker James Foley was beheaded by ISIS since it forced him to hold a perfunctory press conference in order to not miss his golf tee time.

- I will remember how the number of Americans receiving monthly food assistance has increased and stayed 50% above the levels they were at when he became President, indicating that his economic policies are a failure or his ability and plan to curtail food assistance fraud is a failure.

- I remember that this administration was also not able to produce anything close to an enduring peace arrangement between the Israelis and Palestinians.

- I will remember how this administration allowed North Korea and Iran to get seven years closer to becoming a nuclear weapons power.

- I will remember how Obama’s Afghanistan policies and strategies has not come close to defeating the Taliban after seven years, requiring him to continue to deploy thousands of U.S. troops in the country into an indefinite future.

- I will remember how this administration presided over the first credit agency downgrade of the Federal government’s creditworthiness in the history of the country.

- I will remember how this administration’s economic policies failed to improve the economic plight of minorities in this country, both on an absolute basis and relative to non-minorities.

- I will remember how Obama promised not to appoint high powered lobbyists to positions of power in his administration and once elected, promptly installed high powered lobbyists in his administration.

- I will remember how Obama ignored existing law forbidding foreign military aid to any country that is toppled by a military coup when a military coup toppled an elected government in Egypt but still received American military aid.

- I will remember how Obama illegally allowed lucrative taxpayer funded financial credits to Congressional members and their staffs to pay for Obama Care policies in violation of the Obama Care legislation.

- I will remember how this administration abused Federal government resources to inhibit and harass companies and businesses (e.g. Gibson Guitar and Boeing) whose business agendas did not line up with the President’s political agenda.

- I will remember how this administration intentionally violated the WARN act by telling companies to not announce layoffs that were in compliance with the WARN Act prior to the 2012 Presidential election, promising to pay any WARN Act fines in the future with taxpayer money those companies may incur as a result of violating the WARN as requested by the Obama administration.

- I will remember how this administration violated the Welfare Reform Act of 1996 by illegally allowing able bodied welfare recipients not to fulfill the weekly work requirements of that legislation.

- I will remember how Obama failed to fire James Clapper, a high ranking member of the President’s national security team, after Clapper lied to Congress about how much electronic information the National Security Agency (NSA) was collecting on every American citizen.

- I will remember how Obama personally signed off on the assassination of American citizens in foreign lands, e.g. the killing of American citizen Anwar al-Awlaki via a drone attack in Yemen, denying him and other citizens a fair trial by their peers, negating the rights, and lives, of al-Awlaki and at least three other American citizens, violating their right “to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” the Fourth Amendment, and the Sixth Amendment to the Constitution.

- I will remember how Obama failed to fire Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius after she allegedly pressured insurance companies to illegally contribute to the promotion and advancement of Obama Care.

- I will remember how Obama failed to fire Kathleen Sebelius after she violated the Hatch Law when she campaigned/endorsed a Democrat for office in North Carolina.

- I will remember how Obama failed to fire Kathleen Sebelius for general incompetence in overseeing the horrid rollout of Obama Care.

- I will remember how Obama slandered and cast slurs to Americans who happen to have a valid different opinion than his relative to global warming.

- I will remember how this administration violated the Federal Information Security Information Act (FISMA) by giving the Obama Care information systems infrastructure “authority to operate” even though it failed the required FISMA’s security control assessment.

- I will remember how Obama promised to use the Justice Department to go after any American who insults a Muslim but ignores Louis Farrakhan’s threat to gather 10,000 African-Americans to kill white Americans.

- I will remember how this President always took great interest when a white person killed a young black man but took no interest when black Americans killed black Americans, when a black person killed a white person, or when illegal immigrants he allowed to stay in this country killed American citizens.

- I will remember how Obama and his family spent hundreds of millions of dollars jet setting around the world for vacations, often disguised as pseudo government events.

- I will remember how Obama insulted Special Olympics children and their families when early in his term he compared his horrific bowling skills to the athletic skills of a Special Olympics athlete.

- I will remember how this administration and this President intentionally manipulated U.S. intelligence data regarding terrorism and ISIS to make it appear that their current foreign and military policies were performing better than they actually were.

- I will remember how this President labelled ISIS as a “JV” terrorist group right before it took over large swaths of territories and major cities in Iraq and Syria, how he assured the world that ISIS was “contained” right before a major terror cell, supported by ISIS, hit multiple targets in Paris France, killing over a hundred people and wounding hundreds, and how he boldly assured Americans that there was no credible terrorist threat on the horizon right before two terrorists killed 14 people and wounded at least 22 people in San Bernardino, California.

I will remember a lot about this Presidency, almost all of it very forgettable, regrettable and often disgusting, as we have discussed over the past three days. President Obama could have been one of the most impactful Presidents of all time. He came into office with sky high popularity and approval ratings. His party had a sizable majority in the House Of Representatives. He had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. The country was ready to turn away from the Republican party.

But let’s review. We have had a President who sits silent and allows ordinary Americans with intelligent, informed, contrary opinions to be slandered and demeaned by his political allies.

He uses deception as he tries to incite different segments of America against each other for his political gain.

Every one of his economic policies have been failures.

It is always all about him.

He tramples on the principles laid out in the Constitution, ignoring the rule of law as he sees as convenient, often trampling the liberties and rights of Americans in the process.

Often it seems like his golf game, his fund raising trips, and his vacations are more important than running and leading the country.

His foreign policy activities have mostly been failures, failures that are dwarfed by the unfolding disaster known as Obama Care.

He has not resolved, or even come close to presenting coherent plans to address the major issues of our times while the faulty operational aspects of the Federal government continue to be redundant, wasteful, inefficient, and ineffective.

But the biggest reason for his disasters is his narcissistic inability to take personal responsibility for his actions and subsequent failures. It is never his fault. Someone else always ruins his plans. This lack of humility means a person never looks inward to see how he or she could improve. And a President without the ability to self evaluate and improve ends up leading a country that does not improve.

And that is what I will remember most: this country, our freedoms, our democracy, and our financial well being are in far worse shape today than they were on that long ago day in January, 2009 when the Obama Error began.
