After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.
1) As many people know, the Obama administration, FBI, Justice Department and other Federal government agencies were up to no good when it became evident that Trump had a decent chance to become President and after he actually won. You see, it is my contention, that the embedded Washington political class and high ranking government bureaucrats had a sweet deal going on from a self enrichment, career advancement, and corruption perspective.
Trump, an outsider comes along, and threatens to upset this cozy status quo and many in government decided that this could not happen. So the Federal agencies set about to discredit Trump, both before and after the election, and took steps to either prevent his election or get him kicked out of office after he took the reins.
If this is true, then any clear thinking American, regardless of party or political leanings, should be appalled. The thought that the national police force, the FBI, along with elected and unelected officials would try to overturn a legal and binding election is a major threat to democracy in this country.
Fortunately, the tide seems to be changing, at least a little, and the truth is starting to trickle out how the political establishment does not care about democracy, voter rights and decisions, and the Constitution:
- FISA is a secret court that government officials can go to in matters of national defense.
- It has been used extensively, and properly, to track down and thwart terrorist attacks against the country.
- The fact that its proceedings are secret is a little disturbing in a free country since abuses of the court would be almost impossible to identify and stop.
- Which is exactly what happened because of at least one FBI employee who abused the FISA warrant process.
- Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith has pleaded guilty to abusing the FISA warrant application process for knowingly altering an email document to get a FISA search warrant to investigate Trump and people associated with him.
- Of course, the mainstream media, no unexpectedly tried to limit the damage of this guilty plea, attempting to shut down what could be more far reaching misdoings by others in the Obama administration.
- Legal expert, Alan Dershowitz, explains: “I think the big story is how the media is handling it. The New York Times has a whole front page analysis in which they say this is not the tip of the iceberg, this is the iceberg itself – that this isn’t indicative of how deep the problem went. Totally, totally false.”
- Clinesmith altered an email to say former Trump campaign worker, Carter Page, had not been a CIA source, when he actually had been a source.
- This directly led to a FISA warrant that would not have happened without the change in the email.
Given the following message that Clinesmith sent to someone in 2016, it seems he was not the only one in trying to undo a legal election: “I am so stressed about what I could have done differently . . . the crazies finally won; this is the Tea Party on steroids.”
Sounds like Clinesmith may have a deeper story to tell once his lawyer looks for a deal on sentencing. Despicable, if true, that Federal agencies and officials tried to manipulate the voters’ desires because they wanted to keep their comfy Washington lives going on.
2) I will not get into the whole mess of mail in voting and the ramifications and potential for massive voter fraud today. I will only share an idiotic statement that one of our favorite political gaffe machines, Nancy Pelosi recently committed. Pelosi for some reason thinks that Trump will sabotage the postal system to stop mail in voting or some such nonsense.
As a result of her paranoia, she issued the following statement: “The Postal Service is a pillar of our democracy, enshrined in the Constitution and essential for providing critical services: delivering prescriptions, Social Security benefits, paychecks, tax returns and absentee ballots to millions of Americans, including in our most remote communities.”
The problem is that the Federal government stopped mailing physical Social Security checks years and years ago, during the Obama administration, in an attempt to speed up delivery and save the government money. A little history from Matt Whitlock from the NRSC: “Wow. In the first sentence of her letter announcing the House will come back to vote on Postal Service legislation (not unemployment benefits) Pelosi warns of mail delays delivering social security checks. But the Obama admin ended social security cheeks by mail 10 years ago.”
Pelosi was certainly around back then and may have actually been Speaker of the House when Obama got rid of physical paper checks for Social Security. And yet she has no clue that happened on her watch during a Democratic administration and goes off on another fake Trump conspiracy theory. As always with Pelosi, you can never take anything she says seriously because so many, many times it is pure fiction, just like her latest rant.
3) Unfortunately, for years we have been discussing the failure of Chicago politicians to provide a basic, basic government service to its residents, the protection of lives and property. Unfortunately, the violence, the carnage and crime that has pervaded a lot of the city has not only intensified recently but has moved into other parts of the city, resulting in more deaths, more violence , more crime, and more looting.
The last point there, more looting, has certainly gotten the attention of Chicago business owners:
- One of the highly likely reasons for the upswing in crime in the city is that State Attorney, Kim Foxx, has dropped thousands of felony cases against alleged perps.
- This in all likelihood has emboldened criminals since the chances they will ever get prosecuted is getting smaller and smaller at least from Foxx’s priorities.
- As a result, Chicago business owners have told the city’s mayor, Lori Lightfoot, that if she and the rest of the city’s politicans do not get the crime and violence under control, they are leaving and taking their businesses with them.
- Which should not be a surprise since a single recent episode of looting caused $60 million in damages.
But given her inability to do anything effective, I think it is a pretty good bet that pretty soon there is going to be a lot of boarded up business locations in Chicago and the city’s residents are going to be far worse off because of it. Another example of how American politicians cannot provide a basic government service, protection of lives and property.
That will do it for today’s insanity: leaving town in Chicago, Pelosi has no idea what she is talking about, and the first unraveling string in the plot to unseat a duly elected President by American citizens may have just happened ("Obamagate").
