It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.
1)One would hope that anyone running for public office would have a high degree of personal integrity and morality. Unfortunately, as we have pointed out many times, that hope is rarely present in the American political class:
A former North Carolina Democratic Party county chairman recently pleaded guilty to committing a sex act against a young boy.
The ex-chairman, Daniel Ray Green, was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to a number of sex charges with a minor.
He was arrested two years ago when a 14 year old boy claimed Green gave him alcohol, shared pornography with him, and then sexually assaulted him.
Another sad part of this sordid affair is that Green is a former judge in the local superior court.
Besides the jail sentence, he has to pay the boy’s medical bills, is permanently disbarred from practicing law, and must register as a sex offender.
Another huge and disgusting episode with a member of the political class.
2)But disgusting political class behaviors of low or no moral integrity is not restricted to sex with minors:
A Connecticut state politician, Michael DiMassa, is facing criminal charges, alleging that he stole over $630,000 from the city of New Haven.
The money came from the American taxpayer via the covid Cares Act and was given to the city government of New Haven for covid relief.
It is alleged that DiMassa and another person set up a dummy consulting firm which began billing the city government for work that was never done.
After receiving the relief money, DiMassa then wrote checks to himself, many of which coincided with trips to a major Connecticut casino.
According to the FBI: “From February 12, 2021 through April 30, 2021, seven checks were made payable to COMPASS INVESTMENT GROUP, LLC from the City of West Haven and were deposited to the business account. The checks ranged in value from $11,847.50 to $87,650.0. These funds were then used for twenty-one cash withdrawals that were conducted by MICHAEL DIMASSA, ranging from $8,000 to $10,000, for a total of $178,150.”
If he is guilty of this fraud, then that is the good news. The bad news is that we have no idea how many people like him have not gotten caught defrauding the American taxpayer.
3)New York Post reporter, Miranda Devine, recently published a book, “Laptop From Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets The President Tried to Hide.” The book is obviously focused on a damaged laptop computer that Hunter Biden dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop but whose contents got out and showed how corrupt both Hunter Biden and his father, Joe Biden, are.
One of the excerpts from the book explains just a single incident of the corruption that has permeated the Biden political career:
One of the incidents of corruption outlined in the book involved a Chinese Communist government dominated company exec giving Hunter Biden a huge three carat diamond worth about $80,000.
The diamond gift came from the head of a Chinese energy company, CEFC, a gentleman named Ye Jianming.
The diamond was part of a business deal that was to bring the Biden family in on a joint investment company that would be run by the Biden family and CEFC.
The diamond exchange came in 2017 when Hunter Biden flew to Miami to meet with Ye Jianming.
In a private, one on one diner, Jianming not only offered up the diamond but offered to pay Hunter $10 million a year for a minimum of three years strictly for Hunter to make introductions to influential Americans which presumably was focused on his father, then the Vice President.
As a cover story, Hunter claimed the meeting with Jianming was to get a donation to the World Food Program USA of which he was a board member.
This cover story apparently was used more than once on Hunter’s world enrichment tour.
Two bad things going on here. Obviously, the most obvious is the President’s son, both now and in the past, using his father’s high positions in the Federal government to enrich himself, a huge conflict of interest and ethics violations. The second, more subtle wrong here is that the mainstream press has basically lost their voice in the face of this obvious corruption, carrying very few stories of possibly one of the biggest corruption stories in recent time as it relates to the American political class.
As we have said before, the country will survive bad Presidents. We got through bad Presidencies before, e.g. Carter, Obama, and now Biden. However, democracy will not survive if the press and journalism industry continue to lose their voices when it comes to the corruption they refuse to report on because of their personal and business political leanings. A corrupt, silent, unbiased press will eventually cause freedom to wither in the face of ignoring the destruction of integrity in the American political class.
4)And it really is not a true “political class insanity” post unless we check in with the domestic war zone known as Chicago:
Violence and murders continue to soar in the Windy City and this past Thanksgiving weekend was no different.
Three city residents were killed and 40 were shot just over the Thanksgiving weekend.
In 2021, city shooting incidents are up 9% vs. 2020, now totaling over 3,200 with a month yet to go.
This means on average, almost 300 people are shot every month in the city.
This increase in violent crime follows a 2020 move by the mayor, Lori Lightfoot, and the city council to gut/defund the police force in the face of Black Lives Matter pressure and riots.
This defunding included taking $59 million out of the police force budget and reducing the department’s staffing plan by 600 positions.
But after a female police officer, Ella French, was murdered on duty this past August, Lightfoot has proposed to refund the police force with a $16.7 police budget that would include hiring more police officers.
Even more disconcerting, is that some of the gun fire heard in the city streets over the weekend could have included shots from a machine gun.
From day one we asserted that the “defunding the police” movement would result in more murders, more shootings, and more crime since there was no proven alternative to police actions. And we were right. Our analogy was this: defunding the police was like trying to design a new parachute AFTER you have jumped out of the airplane and you are falling to earth.
Unfortunately, it took deaths and crime to make people like Lori Lightfoot see the light but only after who knows how many innocent people were maimed or killed by the stupidity of defunding the police movement.
That will do it for today: Chicago politicians still haven't found a way to make the city not be a violent shooting gallery, the Biden family is up to their corrupt necks in influence peddling and self enrichment, a Connecticut politician is caught defrauding the American taxpayer, and a powerful local North Carolina pleads guilty to sexually abusing a minor.
