We have often talked about how illegal immigrants continue to get FREE food, shelter, medical care, cell phones, and other benefits paid for by American citizens. In the meantime, millions and millions of Americans are homeless, hungry, in need of drug addiction support, in need of health care and health insurance, and other struggles.
In addition, many Americans have suffered physical harm such as robberies, rape, and murder at the hands of criminal and violent illegal immigrants. Thus, our logical conclusion is that many liberals in the American political class care more about illegal immigrants, including criminals within that group, than the safety and needs of the American citizens they are supposed to serve.
We continue this discussion today:
1)Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins, recently issued a directive that access to food stamps be restricted to American citizens and legal immigrants in need, “The days in which taxpayer dollars are used to subsidize illegal immigration are over. Today's directive affirms that the U.S. Department of Agriculture will follow the law—full stop."
His actions are consistent and in line with an existing law, “Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996.” This law was enacted with bipartisan support and signed off by Bill Clinton, a law that : "generally prohibits illegal aliens from receiving federal benefits, including Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits." Thus, for years, and currently, any state or city government that provides SNAP benefits to illegal immigrants is in violation of Federal law.
What has been the cost to the American taxpayer of providing illegal support to illegal immigrants? According to the Congressional Budget Office, Biden’s open border policies and the millions and millions of illegal immigrants who flooded into the country have cost the American taxpayer over $16,200,000,000. Consider some simple calculations:
Since on average in this country it costs our food banks about $3.00 to provide a healthy meal to those in need, that $16.2 billion could have provided about 5.4 billion meals to America’s homeless population.
Thus, theoretically if that $16.2 billion had been directed to taking care of hungry Americans, every homeless American could have received three healthy meals a day for over six years.
While these are strictly mathematical, theoretical calculations, it does give you an idea of the magnitude of how much taxpayer wealth has been diverted to support the free benefits to illegal immigrants vs. taking care of American citizens in need.
2)One of the problems that Biden’s failed immigration policies has caused is the enrichment of the notoriously violent Mexican drug cartels. The cartels have gotten rich from our leaky border by flooding the country with illegal drugs, sex trafficking adults and kids, and getting wealthy off of human trafficking in general, charging poor residents of foreign countries high prices to get smuggled into the country.
By enriching the cartels, Biden has made them that much more dangerous:
According to the DEA, the Sinaloa drug cartel has deeply embedded its operations in major cities across the country.
According to former DEA agent, Brian Townsend, the cartels not only have a major presence in the metro areas but have also filtered out into more rural areas of the country: “They have distribution points throughout the United States, and from there, they use those hubs, and then [the distributions] spoke out from there into our communities.”
Last year the head of the DEA stated that our country is facing the “most dangerous and deadly drug crisis” in its history, thanks to a massive influx of fentanyl and methamphetamine coming into the country.
And that influx is driven by the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels and that influx is killing about 300 Americans every day during the year via drug overdoses.
And helping the cartels manufacture the drugs killing Americans are suppliers of the base chemicals in the drugs, the majority of which is coming from China.
So not only have Biden’s failed border policies resulted in billions and billions of dollars being diverted to provide free care to illegal immigrants, his open borders resulted in the enrichment and the growing power to corrupt by the cartels at the expense of American overdosing from their poison.
3)We have previously discussed the rapes and murders of many American citizens at the hands of illegal immigrant criminals:
Nursing Student Laken Riley - abducted, raped, beaten and killed by an illegal immigrant in Georgia when she went out for a midday run.
Rachel Morin - mother of five who was abducted, raped, beaten, and killed in Maryland when she went out for a midday walk.
Debbbie Kawam - subway rider in New York City who during a nap on a subway ride was intentionally set on fire by an illegal immigrant and died from the resulting fire.
We could go on and on but you get the idea: Americans are facing horrible fates as a result of the criminal and violent felons that Biden allowed to enter the country, including the following sad case of violence:
Mollie Tibbetts, an Iowa college student, went out for a run back in July and never returned.
After a month had elapsed, law enforcement authorities arrested an illegal immigrant who was charged with first degree murder in her death.
The alleged murderer led police to her body after he was apprehended.
Another day, another dead American at the hands of a violent illegal immigrant.
4)But the latest violence does not stop in Iowa:
A transgender illegal immigrant was recently arrested for allegedly stalking and raping a 14 year old child in New York City
The act of rape was allegedly done in a local store bathroom after the illegal immigrant followed the 14 year old into the bathroom.
The alleged perp was already being hunted by law enforcement authorities in Massachusetts and New Jersey.
And yet, despite the age of the victim and the heinous crime and attack, sanctuary city and state, NYC and New York state, may not hand him over to the Feds for prosecution and deportation since they are illegal self-proclaimed sanctuaries for illegal immigrants, even violent ones.
Another example where city and state politicians in a liberal city and state value illegal immigrants more than they value the safety of their own citizens.
More deadly and expensive results from Biden’s failed immigration policies.
