We have often talked about how illegal immigrants continue to get FREE food, shelter, medical care, cell phones, and other benefits paid for by American citizens. In the meantime, millions and millions of Americans are homeless, hungry, in need of drug addiction support, in need of health care and health insurance, and other struggles.
In addition, many Americans have suffered physical harm such as robberies, rape, and murder at the hands of criminal and violent illegal immigrants. Thus, our logical conclusion is that many liberals in the American political class care more about illegal immigrants, including criminals within that group, than the safety and needs of the American citizens they are supposed to serve.
We continue this discussion today:
1)Let’s start today in Houston, Texas:
An illegal immigrant from Mexico was recently arrested in Houston.
He was charged as a sexual predator for his filming of women in bathrooms.
This was his second arrest relative to this crime, having already been convicted of secretly recording others in bathrooms in 2021.
Elsewhere in Texas, a south Texas man recently pleaded guilty when he tried to smuggle 36 illegal immigrants in a tractor trailer.
2)While Texans are arresting illegal immigrant criminals in their state, out in California, the governor is spending billions of taxpayer dollars to give any and all illegal immigrants taxpayer subsidized healthcare:
Governor Gavin Newsom and other liberals in the state just approved $9.5 billion to support the medical needs of illegal immigrants in the state.
Keep in mind that the state government is facing a $68 billion shortfall in this fiscal year and its long term unfunded liabilities are around a trillion dollars.
And yet, they think it is a good idea to spend almost $10 billion on illegal immigrant health care needs.
This $9.5 billion is about 46% more than what was originally proposed to the taxpayer base in the state.
Keep in mind that taxpayers in the state are coping with very high gas prices and taxes, very high property taxes, very high utility bills, a failing infrastructure, poorly performing schools, high crime rates in the state’s cities, high healthcare costs, very high homeless rates, and businesses and residents exiting the state, reducing the tax base.
But the state’s politicians think that spending $9.5 billion for medical care for illegal immigrants is a good idea.
Since there are 3.2 million illegal immigrants in the state along with 1.1 million U.S. born kids of illegal immigrants, about 11% of the state’s population will now be getting upwards of $10 billion in taxpayer-funded healthcare.
No benefits for citizens and yet paying the taxes for others to get healthcare benefits, why are Americans so often second rate citizens in the eyes of today’s politicians?
3)Let’s go back to Texas:
An illegal immigrant, Alberto Rafael Ferrer, was recently arrested in San Antonio.
He was charged with murder in connection with the death of an 81 year old Texas man who Ferrer, age 26, claimed was his spouse.
The 81 year old had been stabbed to death and once Ferrer was arrested, he eventually confessed to committing the murder.
Certainly a weird kind of arrangement, a 26 year old with an alleged 81 year old spouse, but another American citizen’s death at the hands of an illegal immigrant criminal.
4)Let’s go west to Utah:
Nestor Rocha-Aguauo, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was recently arrested in Utah.
He has been charged with murdering his girlfriend and dumping her body in Toole, Utah.
He had been deported for the second time the week before but still re-entered the country illegally.
Thus, he had entered the country illegally three times.
According to the New York Post, he has a history of illegal drug and domestic violence arrests.
Rocha-Aguano was arrested when he boarded a bus that was headed to Mexico.
His arrest includes charges of aggravated murder, abuse of a dead body, and aggravated robbery.
5)But it not just American citizens that are suffering as a result of Biden’s failed immigration policies and the violence of the human trafficking organizations that are getting rich off of those failed policies:
Recently, two little girls, ages five and nine, were found abandoned at the border by human smugglers in Texas.
The two little girls were from El Salvador and one had a note with an address and phone pinned to one of them.
Fortunately, the Border Patrol found them before something tragic happened to them.
Makes you wonder how many kids of this age did not make it successfully into the hands of the Border Patrol and possibly perished somewhere along the smuggling routes.
But as we have discussed previously just because an immigrant kid makes it safely into the country does not mean they are safe. Between 2019 and 2023, the Biden administration reported that 448,000 unaccompanied immigrant children showed up at the southern border.
Over 32,000 of them failed to appear at their immigration court hearings, the government not knowing where they might be. Additionally, the location of another 291,000 kids that have not been judicially processed have disappeared into the country.
Enough horror stories for today: illegal immigrant kids showing up after being abandoned at the border, murders across the country, and California politicians taking better health care of illegal immigrants than the state’s citizens.
