Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class continue to show that they are incapable of efficiently operating any level of government in this country.
Even their best efforts are almost always ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.
1)We have always said that most American politicians abide by the old saying, “do as I say, not as I do.” Many times they seem to think and assume that the very laws they pass do not apply to them, that they are somehow above the law. A politician running for the U.S. Senate in Maryland is the latest example:
Angela Alsobrooks is running for the U.S. Senate representing the state of Maryland.
The problem is that she apparently owes $47,580.56 in property taxes on a home that she used to own in Washington D.C.
Apparently she accepted the fact that she had not paid the necessary taxes on the property but as always, the politician had an excuse, namely that she had never been sent the property tax bills.
Although she has paid back some of the unpaid taxes, she still owes almost $30,000. And yet, she is running for the U.S. Senate. Ain’t America great, not pay taxes and still be eligible to serve in the U.S. Senate?
2)A primary, basic function of any government entity is to protect the lives and property of the citizens they serve. Unfortunately, Biden’s failed immigration policies have allowed all sorts of nefarious types to enter the country: organized crime organizations, drug cartels, human traffickers, etc. The actions of these folks have resulted in the rapes, murders, thefts, and drug overdoses of an untold number of Americans.

And the carnage has not ended:
A Chicago Jewish gentleman was recently walking towards his synagogue to worship when he was shot for no other reason than being Jewish.
The shooter is allegedly an illegal immigrant who crossed into this country illegally in California.
He also allegedly is from an Arab country since during the shooting and the following shooting against the first responders he was shouting “Allahu Akbar.”
So not only are illegal immigrants committing run of the mill violence and criminal acts but at least one of them is intent on doing violent, anti-semetic hate crimes.
3)We have often discussed the reality that Biden’s failed economic programs and policies have resulted in double digit inflation over the course of his time in office. In fact, at one point, the monthly annual estimate of inflation had hit a 40 year high.
But the high information rates are not the only very high, and very undesirable rate, of his administration:
In 2021, Biden took apart the existing and reliable long term FBI crime reporting system and replaced it with an optional system that allowed local law enforcement agencies to make their crime submission to the FBI optional.
This resulted in over 6,000 law enforcement agencies across the country opting out of reporting their crime statistics.
This is almost 30% of the total number of law enforcement agencies in the country.
Thus, overnight, the rate of violent crime officially decreased by about 30% simply because crimes were not being reported.
And some of the agencies that bailed out of reporting their crime were crime infested cities like New York City and Los Angeles.
When the latest crime statistics were released it showed a decrease in violent crime by 2.1% and Biden claimed success in reducing violent crime.
But the FBI quietly admitted later that violent crime actually increased by 4.5%.
This increase was the result of an additional 1,699 murders, 80,029 violent crimes, 7,780 more rapes, 33.459 robberies, and 37,091 aggravated assaults that were eventually counted in the final estimate.
Thus, the Feds via the FBI and Biden administration tried to cover up well over 100,000 violent crimes that Americans had suffered.
With their credibility destroyed, it is worthwhile looking at a non-FBI and non-Biden crime reporting source.
The National Crime Victimization Survey is that source since it relies on reports from victims, not corrupted government sources.
Their analysis and reporting actually found that there was a whopping 55% increase in violent crime since Biden and Harris took office.
And while the real statistics show the steep increase in violent crime, there is also anecdotal evidence of how bad crime is rampaging.
For example, the city government in Chicago has not renewed a contract with a “gun-fire detection agency” because there were just too many guns being fired in the city.
There is now so much gunfire that Chicago police respond to gunfire only if someone is actually shot.
In New York City violent subway crime has gotten so bad that the governor had to deploy the National Guard to patrol the subway system.
More government corruption to cover up the failure of the Biden administration to provide a very, very basic government service: protecting the lives and property of every American. Lies, deceit, and violence, a horrible legacy of a horrible Presidency.
4)Speaking of corruption, consider recent reporting by former CBS News correspondent, Catherine Herridge (note: I consider Ms. Herridge one of the few unbiased, thorough, and intelligent journalists left in the country and left in the journalism industry):
IRS whistle blowers have come out to accuse key government agencies such as the IRS, DOJ, and FBI of being aware that Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop computer was the real deal and not some type of Russia shenanigans.
The report goes on to suggest that Federal government officials avoided investigating the laptop to protect Biden’s run to the Presidency.
The whistleblowers allege that prosecutors instructed them to NOT pursue any lines of questioning that could implicate Joe Biden in his son’s likely unlawful activities.
Their accusation is that the prosecutors and others wanted to protect the “Big Guy” which we now know is code for Joe Biden: “There were a lot of overt investigative steps that we were not allowed to take because we had an upcoming election.”
They explained that the Biden campaign’s influence over investigative protocols was evident throughout their work: “The prosecutors specifically told us that they didn’t want to ask about the big guy because they knew it was Joe Biden.”
Herridge reports that as government officials were telling Americans that the laptop was a Russian, they all knew that it was real and if the reality of the laptop contents got made public Biden would suffer at the polls in the upcoming election.
Anthony Blinken, Biden’s Secretary of State, allegedly played a big part in suppressing the laptop story and thus, got rewarded with a valuable Cabinet position.
More government corruption. Thankfully, some honest IRS whistleblowers have come forward to show that Biden probably would not have been installed as President if the Federal government had not covered up his son’s shady doings.
Unfortunately, the government does not like whistle blowers and these IRS whistle blowers have paid a heavy career toll: “The IRS has put a smothering blanket on me, hoping that I quit, that they find some way to terminate me or commit suicide or something.” It’s a shame since these folks proved that Washington in general, Biden crime family specifically, exists and will corrupt government agencies to help them grow their wealth and power.
Enough insanity for today: government corruption protects the Bidens, government corruption fakes the true crime statistics, more illegal immigrant violence in Chicago, and a Maryland politician says no taxes for me.
