Afghanistan has been a collective failure of multiple Presidential administrations and multiple sessions of Congress. Thus, please consider signing the petition below that calls for the immediate resignation of every member of Congress that has at least twenty years of service and the resignation of President Biden, Vice President Harris, and critical, and failed, members of the Biden Administration. They do not deserve to serve any longer given their miserable twenty year track record of death, destruction and waste in Afghanistan.

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.
To review past posts on this insanity and idiocy, just click on the first few posts in each month listed to the right of this page. After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.
1) Far too many times we have discussed the horrid state of affairs in the state of California:
- A large and growing homeless population.
- Sky high taxes at all levels of government.
- Escalating crime rates especially in the bigger cities.
- Sky high home prices.
- A state government with close to a trillion dollars worth of unfunded future financial liabilities.
- A governor so inept that he faces a very real chance of being recalled.
- A state government that fails at everything it does, e.g. high speed rail line fiasco.
- A growing rate of out migration of citizens to other locations as quality of life continues to deteriorate.
- Some of the highest gasoline and utility costs in the country.
- The state Senate recently passed a bill by a 28-2 vote to replace a toppled statue of the first saint canonized on U.S. soil and sent the bill to the governor to be signed into law.
- The state assembly had previously approved the bill by a 66-2 vote.
- The statue had been knocked down in 2020 at the height of the inane Black Lives Matter riots.
- According to a local news report, the bill, “removes the statutory requirement for the Capitol to maintain a statue of Father Junipero Serra, and replaces it with a mandate to install a work of art that commemorates the indigenous people on whose land California sits.”
- The saint was the founder of the California mission system way back in the 18th century.
- Modern day critics of the saint say he was trying to convert the local native Americans to Christianity which would wipe out their customs and culture.
- Critics also accuse the saint of enslaving the locals to work on the missions.
It will only serve to give short term, shallow relief to a bunch of white liberals that don't know how to fix the real problems facing Californians TODAY, vs. some hypothetical problem that happened hundreds of years AGO. It is the Titanic syndrome all over: these state politicians do not know how to fix the real problems facing their citizens so they flutter about focusing on stuff that really does not matter in the lives of almost every state resident.
2) We have also talked far too many times of how bad the local politicians have allowed the once great city of Chicago to sink into a hellhole of violence and crime. Michael Snyder, writing for the Economic Collapse blog, recently summed up some of the growing decadence that inept politicians have allowed the city to become:
- According to Mr. Snyder, recent research shows that the city is home to over 117,000 gang members.
- As crime has increased, grand, old, beautiful structures like churches, factories, and hospitals are in a state of decay and rot all over the city.
- Illegal, open air drug markets are scaring away citizens and tourists from local businesses, causing many of them to shut down or move out of the city.
- Chicago police statistics for 2020 show a 50% jump in city murders on a year over year basis, 729 vs. 495 in 2019.
- Shootings in the city were also up about 50% year over year, 3,261 vs. 2,140. Proving again that local politicians have no idea how to fix what they allowed to break, state representative Marcus Evans thinks that if they make it illegal for retailers to sell violent video games like “Grand Theft Auto” to minors, that will fix the city’s violence epidemic.
- Yeah, that will work: take away violent video games and those 117,000 gang members will take up a pacifist lifestyle in no time.While state and local politicians fiddle with nonsense like violent video game sales, residents and businesses cannot get out of the state fast enough.
- Illinois recently recorded its seventh straight year of population loss.
- From July, 2019 to July, 2020, the state population dropped by over 79,000 people, the most since World War II and the second most of any state in raw numbers and percentage of population.
Another Titanic situation: people getting murdered in the streets to the tune of almost two a day while some nut case worries about the effects of selling violent video games. You cannot make up this insanity.
3) Nancy Pelosi has never been our favorite politician. She and her husband have allegedly made millions and millions of dollars using insider trading government information, they have profited from the timing of legislation, she has put forth no coherent legislative strategies which would finally resolve some of the issues facing Americans despite being Speaker of the House, and she has refused to meet with the families of Americans who were violent victims of illegal immigrants while fully supporting illegal immigration. Her career has been an empty story except for her own self enrichment.
But probably her most callous action just recently happened:
- Recall last year that when George Floyd was murdered in Minneapolis she went ballistic and all “Black Lives Matter,” leading a bunch of Congress people in a moment of silence while kneeling on one knee.
- And that was certainly her right to do that.
- Recall last week when 13 U.S. service people were unnecessarily killed in Afghanistan by a suicide bomber because of Biden's inept withdrawal plan from that country.
- This week, House Republicans wanted to do a Congressional moment of silence in honor of those brave soldiers that died for no reason and who died for their country.
- In an act of unspeakable and hateful malice, Pelosi refused to let that honor take place.
That will do it for today. Pelosi continues to be a callous, cowardly, and petty politician, Chicago politicians continue to send Chicago down the drain, and California politicians have the worst priorities possible.
