We have often discussed the many, many failures of the Biden administration:
Failed immigration policies.
Failed economic policies.
Failed diplomacy efforts.
Failed government initiatives.
To this fabulous list of failures, let’s discuss the latest government agency in the Biden administration to fail at it’s assignment and duties:
1)The Department of Homeland Security and the home of FEMA leader, Alejandro Mayorkas, has already admitted that his organization did not have enough budget to properly support the millions of Americans that are suffering from the past two hurricanes. A lot of the shortfall in aiding needy Americans was diverted to feed, shelter, and transport some of the 10 million illegal immigrants that Biden allowed to enter the country over the past several years.
Congressman Ralph Norman, summed up the reality: “FEMA, as well as this whole Biden administration has is here to protect Americans, our citizens, and hurricane Helene has put a tremendous burden on us, but, get this, follow these funds that have been directed at anything but Americans: $110 million in FEMA funds went to the emergency food and shelter program to assist migrants.”
Biden’s press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, admitted that a lot of FEMA funds did indeed go to supporting the needs of illegal immigrants: “Funding is also available through FEMA’s Emergency Food and Shelter program to eligible local governments and not-for-profit organizations upon request to support humanitarian relief for migrants.”
A recent letter to Biden from some Senators further expressed concern about how FEMA’s primary mission, to help Americans who are victims of disasters, is morphing into an illegal immigrant support function: “FEMA’s continued entanglement in DHS’s efforts to respond to the border crisis could impact its readiness and emergency response mission. Rather than ensuring FEMA is ready to respond to hurricanes and other emergencies, FEMA has been pulled into a border crisis mission. FEMA’s mission is ‘helping people before, during, and after disasters,’ not helping DHS clean up the impact of your Administration’s reckless border policies.”
What a mess, what a sad set of priorities of the Federal government.
2) Just to be sure this is exactly how Mayorkas said that his organization was short of funding for helping Americans: “We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.” He said this after FEMA has spent $1 billion on helping local governments to deal with Biden's failed illegal immigrant policies.
Florida Attorney Ashley Moody has not been happy about FEMS’s horrible performance in this weather crisis: “This is not something that has just happened recently. Mayorkas has come in like a virus and infected what need[s] to be healthy, strong, fundamental programs to ensure the stability and safety of Americans in times of disaster. So, you heard they have taken the FEMA emergency food and shelter program and over time siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars into basically making it an illegal immigrant resettlement program.”
She further noted that Democrat controlled states and cities are declaring disaster from illegal immigration in order to get FEMA assistance from the Biden administration.
3)One of the reasons why Mayorkas stated that FEMA did not have enough money to help Americans who were casualties of the hurricanes was uncovered by Tristan Justice’s analysis of federal government records. Ms. Justice is a journalist with the Federalist..
This is what she found: “The Biden-Harris administration took more than a billion tax dollars that had been allocated to the agency responsible for American disaster relief and used it to offer services for illegal immigrants.” She alleged, based on government documents, that FEMA “allocated nearly $364 million in the fiscal year 2023 and $650 million for the 2024 fiscal year to the ‘Shelter and Services Program.’”
Per Justice, the program’s purpose was “to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release from” DHS.
“Noncitizen migrants.” Not Americans in need, not homeless and hungry Americans ravaged by the two hurricanes, “noncitizen migrants.” I bet that $1 billion dollars could surely come in handy in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina today. But it is good to know that those that broke our laws and illegally entered the country from around the world have been taken care of, whew!
4)We had previously discussed the disgusting priorities of Kamala Harris who, in the center of the devastating hurricanes, bragged about sending about half a billion dollars to help Lebanese citizens that needed food, shelter, and medical support while millions of Americans were suffering from lack of food, shelter and medical support.
This was about the same time that Biden bragged that yet another $8 billion of taxpayer funds were going to be sent over to the wasteland that is the Ukraine/Russia war. Again, another tone deaf, bad timing announcement in the midst of suffering Americans.
And Kamala Harris finished off this tone deaf effort by announcing through FEMA that the Biden administration would be providing $750 to hurricane victims for their “immediate needs” like food and baby formula. Half a billion dollars to Lebanon, $750 to American families that are hungry, homeless, and distraught. Despicable, tone deaf leadership.
Congressman Tom Tiffany gets it relative to this Biden/Garris tone deaf pair: “$750 for Hurricane Helene victims. $700 for Maui fire victims. $175 BILLION to Ukraine. FREE flights, health care, housing, and food for illegal aliens.”
Oh, one last thing. When discussing the $750 assistance per family, Harris said that families could apply online for the $750 financial support. But is she so out of touch with the dire situation that she does not realize that power lines are down across the hurricane ravaged areas, that Internet networks are down, that people no longer have a house? But yet she ignorantly and flippantly says just go online to apply. So out of touch with reality and suffering of others.
That will do it for today's FEMA disasters. Taxpayer dollars sent around the world that could have greatly alleviated the suffering that those were so negatively affected by the hurricanes and so-called leaders that either do not care or are so out of touch with reality or both.
