January, 2019, Part 5, Political Class Insanity: Another Bit Of Idiocy From Ocasio-Cortez, Elizabeth Warren Lives In Another Reality, and Finally Admission That Obama's Nobel Peace Prize Was An Error

It is another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let’s get started:

1) Newly elected Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become this blog's favorite politician for inane, idiotic, and just plain stupid quotes and idea. She is a member of Congress that does not even know what the three branches of our government are. She has economics degree but does not know the definition of the simple economic concept of the unemployment rate. She has a college degree and totally misinterpreted a simple audit finding from the Pentagon. She wants to implement the "Medicare For All" concept and has no clue on how much it would cost and how impossible it would be to fund.

We could go on and on about her but let's stop there and add another ridiculous concept she has:

• According to Warner Todd Huston writing for the Godfather Politics website on January 4, 2019, she wants to implement a Federal government tax rate of 70% for high earners in this country. 
• Even though global warming stopped about two decades ago and thousands of scientists have stated that manmade global change is not a significant problem, and in some cases is a beneficial situation, she wants to fund an idiotic climate program called the New Green Deal. 
• This New Green Deal would negatively and significantly impact the U.S. and ultimately fail since the rest of the world, especially China and India, would continue to increase their carbon footprint for the foreseeable future.
• When told her plan was radical, she proudly responded, “If that’s what radical means, call me a radical,” she says. 
• And even though the top ten percent earners in this country already pay a grossly disproportionate share of the Federal taxes in this country, she says that her plan would necessarily add “an element where people are going to have to start paying their fair share in taxes," 
• She is ignorant to the reality that those taxpayers with incomes over $200,000 in this country pay a whopping 60% of all Federal taxes. 
• She then goes to the always stupid rationale that the Federal tax rate fifty years ago was 60-70%, as if somehow that justifies doing it again today. 
• She shows her ignorance of tax history because back when the tax rate was that high, there were an incredible number of deductions available to greatly reduce tax income at those high rates, for example back then you could deduct sales tax expenses, car interest payments, etc. so that the 70% rate was seldom reached because of all of the deductions, a reality she obviously is oblivious to. 
• If her fantasy came true, high earners in NYC would be paying an effective overall tax rate of 83% on their earnings over a certain level, that is NOT a fair share of taxes.

There you have it, another reason why this woman is so ignorant and dangerous. Global warming stopped twenty years ago. Thousands of scientists believe that manmade climate change is minimal and can sometimes be viewed as beneficial for mankind. The higher earners in this country already pay more than their fair share in taxes already. High Federal tax rates in the 60s were heavily and easily offset by a myriad of legal deductions. 

And most of all, anyone who was going to pay 83% on their work ethic and earnings is certainly a fool to do so. As what almost happens with higher and higher taxation, less and less tax revenue is generated. No one is going to work hard enough to earn an extra dollar to just give up 83% of it politicians like novice and naive Ocasio-Cortez.

And so she is obviously math challenged, as we have pointed out previously, consider this reality: There are millions of Americans in this country who are homeless, hungry, unemployed, and drug addicted today. Go focus on their problems and stop with this idiotic, unnecessary, and not well thought out fantasy.

2) Speaking of out of touch and delusional politicians, consider how Senator Elizabeth Warner assesses America today as she tries to position herself as a viable Presidential candidate, a candidate that has no idea what is going on in America today:

• Michael Graham, writing for the Boston Herald on January 1, 2019, summarized Warner's current out of touch views.
• Warren thinks that the middle class/typical people are "under attack." 
• She thinks that the middle class/typical people are being "ripped off." 
• She thinks the country's politics are "poisoned by corruption." 
• She thinks "families are falling into traps." 
• She thinks people are being killed by corporations. 
• She thinks that some of its citizens are "destroying the planet." 
• She ignores the reality that a Suffolk University poll found that a whopping 58% of her constituents said they do not want her to run for President. 
• She ignores the reality that U.S. median household income was $63,554 in November, the highest raw number ever and when adjusted for inflation, the highest level since the year 2000, so much for the middle class being under attack and being ripped off. 
• She ignores the reality that average hourly wages in the U.S. have increased to $22.95/hour, the highest level ever, so much for the middle class being under attack and being ripped off. 
• She ignores the reality that when getting emotional about raising the minimum wage, she is talking only about .5% of the population, mostly teenagers, are being paid the minimum wage. 
• She ignores the reality that the top 3% of income earners in this country pay more than 50% of the Federal tax burden, they are not "fat cats" who "paid less than their secretaries and janitors" in taxes. [Note: the top 50% of earners pay 97% of the Federal taxes, leaving 50% of the rest of the earners paying only 3% of the taxes.] 
• She ignores the reality that she is a fat cat, having been paid a whopping $350,000 to teach ONE/SINGLE law class at Harvard. 
• She ignores the reality that overall economic growth is up, wages are up, 4,000,000 more Americans are employed than two years ago, there are more job openings in the country than there are workers, rather than killing people, companies are making major investments in this country (e.g. Amazon, Apple, Ford, others), not killing people, the unemployment rate for Hispanics, African-Americans, women, and the less educated are at or near historic lows. 

Life may suck in Warren's reality but in the real world, it is pretty good.

3) One of the strangest happenings during the Obama administration was him receiving the Nobel Peace Prize early in his Presidency for doing....really, nothing. It was almost like a participation award even before the game commenced. His subsequent record was certainly not one dedicated and successful in bringing peace to the world:

• He conducted an illegal war against Libya, toppling an existing, legitimate government in violation of the Constitution and the War Powers Act, and causing a viable country to deteriorate into a cesspool of murders, anarchy, and terrorism.
• He funded rebels and/or terrorists with weapons and support in Syria which helped lead to the destruction of that country and the deaths of thousands and thousands. 
• He failed to prevent Russia from invading the Ukraine and taking over the Crimea. 
• He failed to deter North Korea and Iran from developing nuclear weapons. 
• He failed to find a solution for peace in the Middle East. 

Now granted, many of these problems and issues have existed without a solution for many, many years. But he did nothing to remedy them or to deserve the Peace prize. And apparently those that gave him the price are having second thoughts and regrets for doing so:

According to Warren Todd Huston, writing for the godfather Politics website on January 3, 2019, a former secretary of the Nobel organization finally admitted that awarding Obama the Peace Prize was a failure:

• Geir Lundestad told the BBC that he thought that giving Obama the award, before he did anything worthwhile in the area of peace, would spur him to great, worldly, peace accomplishments. 
• Again, getting a participation award before the game even started as stated above. 
• He admits now that Obama dud nothing of note in the area of peace for eight years: "In that sense the committee didn’t achieve what it had hoped for.” 

Kudos for Lundestad for admitting the Nobel committee's mistake, reflecting another point of view of how poorly the Obama administration did in another area of failure.

That is it for today's insanity" Ocasio-Cortez continues to amaze with her idiotic ideas and overall ignorance, Elizabeth Warren obviously lives in a different reality, and the Obama Nobel Peace prize sham is finally admitted. More insanity to follow.

January, 2017, Part 7, Political Class Insanity: A Nobel Peace Prize Warmonger, Out of Control Debt, and Out Of Control Politicis

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us. 

Today and for all of the insanity posts this month, let’s start off with a welcome piece of honest political dialog. It comes from a State Department spokesperson. Mark Toner, who is about to start the daily State Department press briefing. In a joking matter, he makes the following quote: "Welcome to the State Department. I think we have some interns in the back. Welcome. Good to see you in this exercise in transparency and democracy." 

He then burst out laughing at his own quote, indicating he also knew what a joke the Obama administration has been, especially Mr. Toner’s State Department, when it comes to cover ups, lack of transparency, denial of Freedom of Information Act requests, the prosecution of whistleblowers, etc. But at least it was a little refreshing to finally hear some actual honesty out of Washington as we see from the actual clip of the news conference:

With that context of honesty, let’s see what other insanity has been going down:

1) Shortly after Obama’s first election victory for President, he was awarded the Nobel Peace prize for no valid or rational reason imaginable. He then proceeded to become the only multi-term President to have U.S. military forces actively involved in combat for the entire length of his Presidency. 

How badly did Obama act contrary to his "Peace” plan award? According to Rob Garver, writing on January 8, 2017 for the Fiscal Times website, research done by Micah Zenko, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations organization and research associate Jennifer Wilson, added up the number of bombs dropped by our commander in chief over the past year.

Their findings? Based on public data from the Pentagon, think tanks, and news organizations, they calculated that the U.S. military dropped 26,171 bombs or other armaments in 2016. This means that, on average, we dropped 71 bombs every DAY in 2016. Even worse, these U.S. bombs were dropped by the Nobel Peace prize winner in seven different countries:

• Syria: 12,192 bombs
• Iraq: 12,095 bombs
• Afghanistan: 1,337 bombs
• Libya: 496 bombs
• Yemen: 34 bombs
• Somalia: 14 bombs
• Pakistan: 3 bombs

These numbers do not include the U.S. bombs and missiles that were sold to countries like Saudi Arabia that used those U.S. bombs to bomb targets throughout Yemen. So many things wrong with these realities:

• Obama campaigned against the Bush administration’s military intrusion into Middle East affairs and yet is bombing targets across seven different Middle East countries.
• Pretty difficult to not think the Nobel committee, that selected Obama as a peace plan winner, is having second thoughts with the Obama administration dropping over 26,000 bombs and missiles in one year.
• How many innocent civilians, children and adults, in these seven countries have been killed by U.S. attacks and the munitions we have sold to other countries? Other sources outside of this article estimate that hundreds, if not thousands of innocent civilians, have been killed by these bombs.
• Constitutionally, why is Obama not in gross violation of the Constitution and War Powers Act, unilaterally involving the country in serious military engagements in Libya, Somalia, Yemen, and Syria without getting Congressional approval, as required by the Constitution and existing law?

I would hate to see how warlike Obama would be if he had NOT won the Nobel Peace Prize.

2) We have already often reviewed the fiscal insanity Obama has imposed on the country, both short term and long term, by almost doubling the national debt and adding a whopping $10 TRILLION to the national debt. Not only has he added a brutal $10 TRILLION to the debt but he has exploded a key fiscal measurement, the debt to the national GDP ratio, a ratio that has historically been around 60% or so and driven that to over 100%, a level that is very scary and unheard of.

In the past eight years, the Obama Presidency has incurred more annual debt each year than any other Presidency ever, incurring over $1 TRILLION in annual debt for the first four years of his Presidency. And yet, over the past few years he has bragged how he cut the annual Federal spending deficit in half. This is like the old Mafia joke: they break your kneecaps and then offer to sell you crutches at a discounted price. If they had not broke your kneecaps to begin with, you would not need to buy crutches.

Same as Obama. He drove annual spending deficits to over a TRILLION dollars a year, and then congratulated himself when he got the deficit down to about half a TRILLION dollars, a level that was still much higher than the annual deficit of any previous President.

Well, it seems that he cannot even make that claim anymore. Despite being six years into the Obama economic recovery and the claim that unemployment was at or near a “full employment” level, the 2016 Federal government spending deficit again jumped over a TRILLION dollars, $1,054,647,941,626.91. This comes out to about $8,400 that every American household would have had to pay to cover the Obama administration’s new $1 TRILLION annual deficit in 2016. 

To cover the total amount of debt that Obama has added to the national debt burden, every household would have to pony up an additional $75,000 or so to balance the deficit spending books of the Obama administration. Since the Obama administration basically doubled the national debt, than simple math tells us that every U.S. household would have to write a check for about $150,000 to get the Federal government out of debt.

And as we have pointed out many times before, if we had gotten anything for this massive amount of debt you might be able justify at least some of it. But our roads and bridges are still falling apart, our public education processes still stink, we have not had any breakthrough research to reduce deadly diseases, we still do not take care of our veterans, etc. The Washington political class has spent a lot of money and we did not even get a tee shirt for financing it today and for generations to come.

3) We have always maintained that our election processes and the political parties that drive those processes are out of control, wasting a lot of time, money, and attention while never resolving any major problem facing Americans. How obnoxious has this mess become? Consider an interesting math analysis by the New York Post in early December, 2016. 

The Post reported that Hillary Clinton and her supporters had spent an obscene $1.2 billion on her Presidential campaign. The Post then cited data from the World Food Programme, an international charity that tries to feed hungry children around the world. They claim that the can feed a poor child on $.50 a day. If you do the math and believe the World Food Programme organization, than the money spent to try and elect Hillary could have fed over 6.5 million hungry kids a year. 

Given that the average teacher in this country earns about $56,000 a year, the Hillary political money could have funded over 21,000 teacher positions for a year or over 2,100 teacher positions over ten years, certainly a better use of that money. This is how out of synch our national and political priorities have become.

That will do it for today's insanity: a Nobel Peace prize winner that is a warmonger, a President that is an out of control spender, and political processes that cost too much for so little in return. More insanity tomorrow.

Part 5, The Obama Presidency, The End Of An Error - THe Undistinguished List Of Obama Presidency's "Firsts"

As we near the end of the Obama Presidency, I thought it would be a good idea at the 100 day mark to review what he has done to and for this country over the past eight years. Before we do that, though, let me repeat my previous background statements on my past political actions:

• I have never voted for a Republican Presidential candidate in my life and I have been voting since the the Nixon era.
• Until 2010, I have never voted for a Republican for national office in my life.
• I am not affiliated with nor do I associate myself with the Republican Party, conservatives or people like Donald Trump.

Okay, now that we understand where I am coming from, let me just say that in my opinion Barack Obama has been the most inept, most divisive, most narcissist and worst diplomat in my lifetime to reside in the White House. From the economy, to race relations, to the national debt, to foreign relations to government operations, to blatant disregard for existing laws and the Constitution, in just about any measure we are far worse off as a nation than prior to him coming into office.

We will breaking down the failures and disappointments of this administration into some broad categories that will take us a number of days to cover as we analyze “The Obama Presidency - The End Of An Error.” Three days ago we reviewed the dozens of lies and broken promises of this President and two days we talked about the dozens of times that the Obama administration violated laws, the Constitution, and judicial rulings. 

Yesterday, we focused on how Obama and his administration has actively and aggressively divided Americans along sexual, racial, economic, and political lines. Specifically, rather than bringing people together, Obama stood silent and watched his political allies slander, degrade, insult, and divide the country to suit his needs, not the needs of the country and its citizens.

Today, we will focus on the many "firsts" of Obama and his administration, firsts that are often undistinguished, embarrassing, and a disaster:

Obama's Historical Firsts:

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating quality of the United States.

First President to violate the War Powers Act. 

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

First President to force all Americans to purchase a product from a third party, via Obama Care.

First President to spend and waste over $800 billion on “shovel-ready” jobs when there was no such thing as “shovel-ready” jobs.

First President to bypass Congress and implement the immigration Dream Act through executive decree.

First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.

First President to authorize and commit the assassination of an American citizen without due process of law.

First President to terminate America’s ability to put a man in space.

First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.

First President to unilaterally and illegally declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.

First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke out on the reasons for their rate increases.

First President try to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate a factory.

First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.

First President to actively try to bankrupt an American industry (coal).

First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.

First President in sixty years or so to golf more than 300 separate times while in office.

First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.

First President to keep a dog trainer on taxpayer funded retainer for $102,000 a year.

First President to incur a trillion dollar annual Federal budget deficit.

First President to incur trillion dollar annual budget deficits more than one time (four budget years).

First President to not meet its annual budget deadline and schedule four out of five years.

First President to stand in front of the world, via the United Nations, and tell an outright lie, i.e. the Benghazi terror attack was caused by an obscure YouTube video.

Now, an Obama supporter may claim that the following firsts are positives in the face of the above disappointing firsts:

First President to win a Nobel Peace prize, which is a falsehood since he is the fourth, not the first.

First African-American American President - absolutely true.

Not a great list to leave behind as a legacy and as we approach the end of an error. Tomorrow we will discuss the many economic financial failures of this administration.

May, 2016, Bonus Post, Political Class Insanity: Obama The War President, Apple Invests in China, and More

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc. In fact, last month we set a record, needing ten full posts to cover it all.

To review past posts on this insanity and idiocy, just click on the first few posts in each month listed to the right of this page. After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

This is our 12th post this month on America’s political class insanity. It sets a record for this blog on covering such disgusting behavior from our nation’s politicians. It is a sad commentary on the state of the country and those that are supposed to be leaders. 

I thought we were done with this month's insanity yesterday but as quickly as we review and discuss their insanity and idiocy, more insanity comes raining down on us. Thus, today's insnaity bonus post which is definitely our final look at this month’s insanity:

1) We have often reported on how poorly the Obama Presidency has handled economic strategy and the dismal results it has produced. Tens of millions of Americans needing Federal food assistance every month, millions of people who cannot find a full time job, settling for no job or only a part time job, the labor participation rate at 45 year old lows, etc. And as bad as the total, national results are, segments of the population are seeing far worse results, Minority unemployment and youth unemployment are much higher than the dismal national results we just reviewed.

Thus, one would think and hope that if the Federal government had some job creation money set aside they would use it for these sub-segments of the population, especially kids, to try and help them get at least summer jobs. Well, the good news is that the Feds do have a pot of money for such an effort. The bad news, is the Obama administration has set aside $2 million of it to help refugee kids, 400 hundred of them, get a summer job in Utica, New York under the so-called Summer Opportunity Project. Not American citizens' kids getting job help, not American kids stuck in American ghettos in cities like Chicago and Detroit getting job help. No, refugee kids in a single upstate New York city. 

In addition to getting summer jobs, these refugee kids will also get tutoring in math and English while, again, disadvantaged American citizens' kids will get nothing. Am I the only one who sees the insanity of using taxpayer dollars for programs like this, while ignoring our own kids, or am I a racist?

2) Apple recently announced that it was investing $1 billion in a Chinese car service that will compete directly with Uber in China. I have no problem with this, it is Apple's money, they are certainly free to invest it anywhere where it will maximize shareholder and company value the most. I do lament the fact that they found a better opportunity to invest $1 billion in China vs. the United States though, all because of the very, very high tax rates that the Federal government has in place for businesses.

Wouldn't it have been so much better for Americans if Apple found it easier and cheaper to invest $1 billion in America rather than China? How many jobs could a $1 billion investment create in this country? How much more in tax revenue would the Federal government have received if those jobs, that would be created by the $1 billion invested here, tax revenue that would recur year after year? Instead, Washington continues to not address a broken tax system and insanely high set of tax rates that forces companies to invest billions and billions of dollars in other countries. 

As a result, the Federal government gets no revenue from billions and billions of dollars kept and stranded overseas, American workers lose out on job opportunities that those stranded dollars could afford them, and the Federal government never sees the recurring revenue from jobs created domestically if those stranded dollars were spent here rather than in places like China.

But this $1 billion China investment is really small fish relative to the bigger picture. According to a recent article on the Personal Liberty website, if Apple brought back all of the money it has stranded over sees, it would pay a whopping $50 billion in taxes on it. Instead of cutting Apple a break and getting a smaller piece of this stranded money, but billions and billions of dollars invested in our economy, the political class refuses to reform our tax code and ends up getting $0 from that $50 billion. Imagine the economic boost our economy would get if Apple was allowed to bring tens of billions of dollars back home and invest it here and not get whacked with a $50 billion tax bill?

And Apple is just one of many large companies that could bring back tens or hundreds of billions of dollars back into this country for investment if we had a tax code that incentivized investment and economic growth rather than taxation. Tax code insanity, economic idiocy.

3) Remember how earlier in this month's political class insanity we pointed out that the Washington political class, Congress and Obama were working on legislation that would make the American bison the country's official mammal? At that time we pointed out how petty and stupid their priorities were, worrying about what should be the country's official mammal when tens of millions of Americans were either hungry, homeless, unemployed, under employed, dying from drug addiction or having their kids get under educated from failing schools. 

According to a recent Associated Press report, their priorities are still petty and stupid. The House of Representatives recently spent legislative time to ban the display of Confederate flags on flagpoles at Veterans Administration cemeteries. The legislation would ban descendants, family members, and others seeking to commemorate veterans of the Confederate States of America from flying the Confederate Battle Flag over mass graves, even on days that flag displays are permitted. 

Not surprising, a Congressman from the land of fruits and nuts, California, sponsored the legislation. I am assuming that there are no hungry, homeless, unemployed or drug addicts in his state, otherwise her would not have proposed such useless legislation that will impact virtually no one in the whole country. Insanely bad priorities.

4) Remember back or a year or so ago on how everyone was worried that the so-called PIGS of Europe, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain, were going to go bankrupt because their central government debt burden had gotten so out of control? European politicians were falling all over themselves to try and come up with debt relief and debt solutions before the debt crushed their economies and their nations. 

According to CNBC, Spain has not improved their debt solution much since, as of a week or so ago, the central government of Spain had a national debt burden of $1.23 TRILLION at the end of the first quarter. This enormous debt burden represents 101% of the country's GDP in 2015. In other words, the debt burden is so high that it represents over 100% of all the goods and services produced by every Spanish citizen last year. 

Oh, by the way, the U.S. national debt level is higher than Spain's 101%, putting the U.S. Federal government financials on a par, or worse, than the PIGS of Europe. All thanks to an Obama administration that doubled the debt load in eight short years, incurring more debt than EVERY Presidential administration before him.

5) Although Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, the New York Times recently ran an article proving Obama will go down in history as the only two term President that was actively involved in war and military activities the ENTIRE length of his Presidency. From prematurely withdrawing U.S. troops in Iraq in order to win a second term only to reinsert troops later to a failed military effort in Afghanistan over the past eight years to drone attacks that have killed hundreds of innocent civilians in Pakistan and Afghanistan, to an illegal and un-Constitutional entry into the Libyan civil war to the illegal meddling in Syria which led to the the deaths, wounding, and homelessness of millions of Syrians, to putting "boots on the ground" in Syria after saying numerous times he would never to such a thing to bombings in Yemen, he will go down in history as the longest war President ever.

And to this infamous record, we add the latest bit of military forays from a CNN report. CNN reported that Obama has, probably illegally, inserted U.S. Special Forces troops into the country of Libya in an effort to contain the influence of ISIS, the worst terrorist group to ever exist that arose out of the Obama administration's meddling in Syria. The Special Forces are operating out of a base in Misrata, Libya. The Pentagon has acknowledged the new presence of our military presence in that country.

As usual with most of Obama's unilateral actions, Congress and the American people have had no input to his wild and often reckless military misadventures and the strategy behind them. And that assumes there is a military and political strategy to Obama using military forces and might in at least six countries. Our military actions have killed and wounded thousands of civilians, hundreds of our own troops, cost hundreds of billions of dollars, with no measurable or apparent return benefit. That is certainly insanity of the nth degree.

That will do it for this month's record breaking review of political class insanity. Unfortunately, this might be a short term record, given the accelerating rate of political class insanity.

The Failed Presidency of Barack Obama, Part 10: Loose Odds and Ends of Failure

Over the past week or so we have been reviewing the many ways and perspectives on how the Obama Presidency has been an abject failure:

• We reviewed the many, many lies and deceptions of this administration and this President, from cutting the annual budget deficit in half to promising that you could keep your doctors under Obama Care to many others.
• We reviewed the many high ranking Obama administration officials that have illegally and immorally conducted government business, and likely government shenanigans, using personal, unofficial computers and email accounts, undermining the spirit and letter of the Freedom of Information Act, other laws, and Obama; own promise to operate the most transparent administration ever
• We reviewed the many instances where this administration has either allowed government functions and departments to continue to overspend but under deliver or allowed them to get even worse than when he took office.
• We also reviewed some past posts that we had done previously that laid out numerous reasons and actions that should have already led to the impeachment of this Presidency, based on violations of existing law, judicial rulings, and the Constitution.

Yesterday and today we are updating these transgressions, lies, failures, illegal actions, etc. that have occurred more recently. I will let you decide if they are moral, impeachable, criminal, etc. They are certainly numerous, when considered with the many failures we have already discussed, and are probably not over, given that this administration might actually be in power for another 21 months or so.

Today is focused on tying up loose ends and looking at failure lists that others have already compiled. Thus, in no particular order, the latest failures of the Obama administration:

1) ISIS torturing, beheading, and rampaging through the Middle East. Iran about to get a sweetheart deal from the West, enabling them to get nuclear weapons in a relatively short time. Israeli and U.S. relations at an all time low. Unemployment and economic growth still a major problem. All government functions still broken and expensive. North Korea threatening to go nuclear on the U.S.

A lot of bad things going on in the world but the President again had to take time out of his schedule to do an extended video piece on ESPN. On that video he went through every single NCAA men’s basketball tournament game to give his opinion, as if anyone cared who he thought would advance out of the first round. Bad, bad priorities again.

2) The Obama administration recently decided that it would kill a Federal regulation that subjected the White House Administrative Office to the tenets and requirements of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). While legally this does not violate any laws and courts have ruled that the Office is not subjected to FOIA requests, it has been complying with requests for over thirty years.

But the timing of announcing the shutdown of information flows is either ironic or suspicious or both. Ironic that it occurred on National Freedom of Information Day and suspicious that it occurred more than six years into the administration’s tenure and during a time when the need to get information to investigate administration wrong doing (e.g. Benghazi, email scandals, etc.). Certainly not consistent with the spirit of the FOIA law or Obama’s now broken promise to operate the most transparent administration ever.

3) The President does not even think that Iran wants to get a nuclear weapon since in his world: “And if in fact what they claim is true, which is they have no aspiration to get a nuclear weapon, that in fact, according to their Supreme Leader, it would be contrary to their faith to obtain a nuclear weapon, if that is true, there should be the possibility of getting a deal.” Given that Iran’s leaders have publicly said at one time or another that they want to wipe out Israel and the U.S., seems like the President is quite out of touch with reality, a condition that could get a lot of human beings killed.

4) Rather than try to explain all of the deceptions, hypocrisies, and lies let’s go to some videotapes where we have the President lie and deceive in his own words. In the first video, let’s look at a compilation of hypocritical remarks the President has made over time. The video compares and contrasts the statements made by the President to show how he changes his views and opinions to suit the situation.

6) Let’s move from the President's own words and how they show that he lies, deceives, and changes his positions just to satisfy his needs and ego to the compilation of lists done by others who have documented why this is the worst, failed President in a long time.

• I knew nothing about IRS targeting conservative groups.
• I knew nothing about what happened in Benghazi .
• I have never known my uncle from Kenya who is in the country illegally and that was arrested and told toleave the country over 20 years ago. And, I have never lived with that uncle. He finally admitted
• (12-05-2013) that he DID know his uncle and that he DID live with him.

7) The Americans Freedom Fighters website did their compilation of Obama failures, false promises and deceptions under the theme. “First President to…”:

• First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
• First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.
• First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States.
• First President to violate the War Powers Act. 
• First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
• First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.
• First President to spend a trillion dollars on “shovel-ready” jobs when there was no such thing as “shovel-ready” jobs.
• First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.
• First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.
• First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.
• First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.
• First President to tell a CEO of a major corporation (Chrysler) to resign.
• First President to terminate America’s ability to put a man in space.
• First President to cancel the National Day of Prayer and to say that America is no longer a Christian nation.
• First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.
• First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.
• First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke out on the reasons for their rate increases.
• First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate a factory.
• First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN).
• First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.
• First President to actively try to bankrupt an American industry (coal).
• First President to fire an inspector general of AmeriCorps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.
• First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.
• First President to surround himself with radical left wing anarchists.
• First President to golf more than 150 separate times in his five years in office.
• First President to hide his birth, medical, educational and travel records.
• First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
• First President to go on multiple “global apology tours” and concurrent “insult our friends” tours.
• First President to go on over 17 lavish vacations, in addition to date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends paid for by the taxpayers.
• First President to have personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.
• First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.
• First President to fly in a personal trainer from Chicago at least once a week at taxpayer expense.
• First President to repeat the Holy Quran and tell us the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth
• First President to side with a foreign nation over one of the American 50 states (Mexico vs Arizona).
• First President to tell the military men and women that they should pay for their own private insurance because they “volunteered to go to war and knew the consequences.”
• Then he was the First President to tell the members of the military that THEY were UNPATRIOTIC for balking at the last suggestion. (Thank God he didn’t get away with THIS one.)

8) Let's finish today with three of the latest foreign affairs failures of the administration:

Obama called ISIS the junior varsity of terrorist groups. Now they are the worse, most cutthroat terrorist group the world has ever seen.

Obama said that Iraq was safe and secure when he withdrew U.S. troops from that country. Now, Iraq is one of the most lawless, most terrorist intensive place in the world.

Obama said Yemen was a tremendous success and the model to follow from a counter terrorism strategy. Now, Yemen is essentially a lawless country, the U.S. embassy has been shut down, and the country is now being divided and fought over by Iranian backed terrorists, ISIS terrorists, and Al Qaeda terrorists.

Three different foreign affairs situations, three failures of catastrophic proportions.

This will complete our extensive, and depressing, review of the failures of the Obama administration. Many of his actions and failures are certainly impeachable, especially the numerous times he violated the tenets of the Constitution, the times he denied the Constitutional rights of citizens, and the many times he ignored, violated, or suspended existing laws. Other failures, while not impeachable, are certainly detrimental to the country’s well being, from skyrocketing debt to the unfolding disasters of Obama Care to effective government functions to all time lows in trusting government officials and politicians.

Six years into the administration and he can no longer blame Bush for the failures. His record now stands by itself and his record stands for failure. The question is whether the country, its citizens, and our democracy can withstand two more years of the same behavior and lack of competency. I believe in Americans but this administration has certainly put that hope to the test.

Part 3: Why The Obama Administration Deserves To Be Rated The Worst Presidency Since 1945

A recent public opinion poll conducted by Quinnipiac University, a traditional and unbiased source of public opinion, asked a sample of Americans who they thought operated the worst Presidency since 1945. Barack Obama won a plurality of votes in that poll for being the worst U.S. President since 1945. 33% of respondents named him as the worst President over the past seven decades with George W, Bush finishing second at 28%.

Both of them far outpolled who I generally consider the two worst Presidents of the past hundred years, Jimmy Carter (8%) for being a President who was clueless and totally ineffective, and Richard Nixon (13%) for simply being a vindictive crook. America has to be pretty disgusted with your Presidential administration when you are mentioned 2-4 more times than either Carter or Nixon as the worst president since 1945.

Over the next few days we are going to explore the overwhelming number of reasons while this result for President Obama is not only rational but is well deserved. Before anyone starts with their counter arguments or disputing my list of Obama policy failures, criminal acts, economic ignorance, violations of the Constitution, and broken promises, keep in mind the following facts:

• I have never voted for a Republican for President in my life and I am over 60 years old.
• Up until November, 2010, I had never voted for a Republican for national office.
• In the first two years of his Presidency, Obama’s party was in control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate with filibuster proof majorities in both places, I.e. he could have done anything he wanted politically and legislatively without any assist from any Republican.
• I am not saying that anyone else would have resolved all of the issues listed below but it is difficult to think that at least some of these issues would have been resolved by people such as Truman, Kennedy, or Reagan. The Obama Presidency has been so bad that just about every issue and problem listed below is actually far WORST rather than BETTER since the onset of the Obama administration.
• Consider an old saying: “Don’t tell me how rough the seas were, just tell me you brought the boat safely into the harbor.” In other words, a true leader takes the blame and gives the credit. No one forced Obama to become President, he knew the situation he was getting into. He should be judged on how well he managed the situation he inherited going forward. Unfortunately, instead of leadership and looking forward, he chose instead to whine, look backwards, and to blame others for his failures rather than focusing on moving forward from whatever adverse situation he inherited.

Okay, so that sets out the preliminaries: I am not a conservative, a Republican, or a neocon trying to tear down this President. This President could have done anything he wanted in the first two years of his tenure, he cannot blame the Republicans for blocking anything he failed at since he had a historic window of political opportunity. Instead of leveraging the window and leading the country, he chose to blame the previous President, the Japanese tsunami, ATM machines, and a whole host of other factors in the absence of Presidential leadership.

Thus, without any further delay and in no particular order, consider the following XXXX reasons why the Quinnipiac public opinion poll is probably an accurate view of why America rates the Obama administration as the worst Presidential administration in the past 70 years or so (the first 36 reasons were listed in the previous two posts starting with XXXXX):

37) He has constantly reinforced his masculinity by staging dozens of photo ops with professional and college athletic teams but has had minimal photo ops with outstanding teachers, heroic soldiers, or other outstanding American citizens. 

38) He embarrassed the country and his administration by not sending a high level representative to represent the country at Margaret Thatcher’s state funeral, just another in a long line of snubs against our allies around the world. 

39) His failure to come up with a sane and compassionate drug program, continuing the long failing war on drugs, has lead to the continued enlargement and enrichment of foreign drug cartels who have now established themselves firmly throughout the country, peddling their drugs and getting richer. 

40) His failure to live up to his campaign promise of not having high powered lobbyists in positions of power in his administration, a campaign promise that he promptly broke when he placed many high level lobbyists in his administration. 

Relevant Obama quote (Anthony Holm): “More than forty former lobbyists work in senior positions in the Obama administration, including three cabinet secretaries and the CIA director.” 

41) He failed to live up to his promise of reducing the obscene number of earmarks in the annual Federal government expense stream, with the value of earmarks at almost the exact same level of waste as when he took office five years ago. 

Relevant Obama quote: “We need earmark reform, and when I'm President, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely.” 

42) He signed the renewal of the Patriot Act with little discussion or change, a piece of legislation that has caused a significant drop off in freedom and privacy in this country. 

Relevant Obama quote: "We will revisit the Patriot Act and overturn unconstitutional executive decisions issued during the past eight years." 

43) His administration has, at times, incurred MONTHLY deficit spending levels that were higher than almost every other ANNUAL spending deficits from every other President including Bush. 

Relevant Obama quote: “Today I’m pledging to cut the deficit we inherited in half by the end of my first term in office. This will not be easy. It will require us to make difficult decisions and face challenges we’ve long neglected. But I refuse to leave our children with a debt that they cannot repay — and that means taking responsibility right now, in this administration, for getting our spending under control.” 

44) He failed to foresee the Arab spring, resulting in an unpreparedness that has considerably weakened the American influence in the entire Middle East region. 

45) His Obama Care legislation has resulted in many new taxes being directly or indirectly imposed on EVERY American. 

Relevant Obama quote: “If your family earns less than $250,000 a year, you will not see your taxes increased a single dime. I repeat: not one single dime.” 

46) The national debt has increased almost $8 TRILLION during his first six years in office, imposing an individual debt burden of over $50,000 on every man, woman and child in the country. 

Relevant Obama quote: “Nobody wants to put the creditworthiness of the United States in jeopardy. Nobody wants to see the United States default. So we've got to seize this moment, and we have to seize it soon.” 

Relevant Obama quote: "America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit." 

47) Of his many lies, one the biggest lie was to blame Congress for the impacts of the sequester, an idea that he proposed, and an idea he later denied ever proposing despite the public record of his proposal. 

Relevant Obama quote: “The sequester is not something that I’ve proposed. It is something that Congress has proposed.” 

Relevant Obama quote (Bob Woodward): “What the president said is not correct [that he did not propose the sequester]. He is mistaken. And its refuted by the people who work for him.” 

48) In cahoots with Congress, he secretly signed legislation that modified the STOCK Act, a secret signing that allowed Congressional members and their staffs to again conduct stock trading based on their insider secret knowledge of legislation that was pending, proposed or possible in the future. 

49) He allowed his administration to spend millions of dollars to buy fake Twitter and Facebook hits and followers while at the same time signing legislation that reduced the pension benefits of our veterans. 

50) Despite wining the Nobel Peace prize, according to Gallup's international polling, 23% of world citizens in a recent opinion poll still view the United States as the biggest threat to world peace, almost three times more than the next nearest threat (Pakistan), and more than four times higher than either Russia or China. 

51) Despite promising to have the most transparent administration ever, Transparency International recently proclaimed that corruption in the United States was growing faster than anywhere else in the world except Cuba, Dominca, and Burkina Faso. 

52) Analysis of IRS records showed that 36 Obama White House employees owe over $800,000 in back taxes and over 300,000 Federal employees owed about $3.5 billion in back taxes but all of whom were allowed to continue to draw their full Federal salaries and benefits; which should not be a surprise since he nominated any number of tax evaders and/delinquent tax payers to important government positions including Kathleen Sibelius (head of Health and Human Services), Timothy Geithner (Secretary of the Treasury), YYY Solis (head of the Labor department), Tom Daschle (who ended up not working for this administration) and others. 

53) He broke his promise not to sign non-emergency legislation before it had been posted on the Internet for at least five days. 

54) He broke his promise to televise the Congressional hearings regarding Obama Care debates and proceedings on C-SPAN so the entire country would understand what was going into the legislation. 

55) He lied when he stated that the Supreme Court had never overturned any law that had been passed by Congress., he lied when he said the auto bailouts he supported prevented Detroit from going bankrupt (it did go bankrupt), he lied when he said that Al Qaeda was almost defeated since we now know that Al Qaeda controls more physical territory in the world than it ever has before including battlegrounds in Iraq that cost Americans hundreds of lives and billions of dollars, he lied when he denied saying that he had ever declared a “red line” regarding Syria’s use of chemical weapons. (relevant Obama quote: “A red line for us is when we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around.”), he lied when he falsely claimed that health insurance companies were the cause of millions of insurance policies being cancelled when in truth it was the Obama Care legislation requirements that legally forced the cancellations, and he lied when he falsely claimed that an insurance company had refused to pay for his mother’s cancer treatment. 

56) Three years after the Dodd-Frank financial industry reform legislation has been passed, less than half of the needed regulations required by the legislation have been written by the executive branch. 

57) He vindictively shut down White House tours and DC war memorials during the sequester and government shutdown, claiming lack of government funds, but somehow found government funds to keep his favorite government run golf course open the whole time. 

58) He insulted the families who had loved ones die or be wounded by the Fort Hood terrorist attacker, Nidal Hasan, by claiming they were merely victims of “workplace violence” and not terrorism; this cold designation resulted in those families and victims not getting just compensation for their losses and suffering while at the same time paying over $200,000 in government salary and benefits to the shooter and terrorist Hasan as he awaited trial. 

59) He refused to fire the IRS employees who lost $67 million from an Obama Care slush fund, he refused to fire ATF employees who lost over 400 million cigarettes in their position, he failed to fire anyone connected with the $600 million Obama Care website that did not work, he failed to fire anyone who was connected with the botched rollout of Obama Care including Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, etc. In fact, in a time of massive government corruption, fraud, and incompetence, his administration has failed to fire or prosecute any government employee for any breach of conduct or laws.

60) He refused or did not care to rein in absolutely stupid and unnecessary government spending including research money used to build a robotic squirrel, development of a video game to simulate prom week, conducting pottery classes in Morocco, determining when dogs became man’s best friend, constructing a million dollar bus stop in Arlington, Virginia, keeping a dog handler (earning over $100,000 a year) on the White House payroll to handle the Obama family’s dog’s needs, keeping three full time professional calligraphers on staff, and other such extraneous, unnecessary and wasteful spending and nonsense. 

61) He criticized waterboarding and secret rendition of suspected terrorists but then went forth and simply just killed suspected terrorists and collateral damage civilians directly by drone attacks. 

Relevant Obama quote: "We will not ship away prisoners in the dead of night to be tortured in far off countries, or detain without trial or charge prisoners who can and should be brought to justice for their crimes, or maintain a network of secret prisons to jail people beyond the reach of the law." 

62) He failed to anticipate and then manage the growing humnaitarian crisis on our southern border with the invasion and assaulting of that border by tens of thousands of kids and adults from Central and South America, an assault that is straining border security, straining medical resources, and opening up the country to the potential for terrorist infiltration and disease introduction.

Sixty two reasons which justify why this Presidential administration deserves its ranking as the worst Presidency since 194. And we are not even close to completing the case that more and more of Americans are coming to understand. We will need at least a few more days to finsish up the list of failures and corruption of this Presidency. 

However, the remaining reasons we are going to list out in the coming days are actually more serious than the first 62 reasons. The remaining justifications for proving this is the worst Presdiecney since 1945 are actually actions and reasons for impeachment and removal from office. So far, we have just examined corruption, incompetence, broken promises, inept economic policies, inept foreign affairs management, etc. Going forward, we document and discuss dozens of reasons for both being ranked as the worst Presidency since 1945 and reasons justifying the termination of the Obama adminstration.
