May, 2018, Part 2, Political Class Insanity: More CNN Bias, More Maxine Walters Hate, and Tigers Coming Over The Border!

It is another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let's get started:

1) Many times American politicians are the most short sighted, bigoted people that exist when it comes to dealing with those Americans that have a different view then those politicians. For example, we have documented that Congresswoman Maxine Walters publicly wished that Tea Party followers should just die and go to hell since they disagreed with some of Obama’s policies. Hillary Clinton called millions of Americans “deplorables” just because they had a different political opinion than her.

But it is not just politicians that hate and debase others that have a different opinion than them. Members of the liberal mainstream media, people that are supposed to be unbiased reporters of reality, also are not shy about lambasting those that dare to disagree with their views. 

Consider the recent rant of CNN reporter Jim Acosta: “The problem is that people around the country don’t know it’s an act [namely, the Trump Presidency]. They’re not in on the act, and they take what he says very seriously, and they take attacks from [former White House press secretary] Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders and what they do to us on a daily basis very seriously. They don’t have all their faculties in some cases — their elevator might not hit all floors. My concern is that a journalist is going to be hurt one of these days.”

How are we expected to get unbiased news reporting from this guy when he publicly thinks that anyone supporting Donald Trump is not a sane person?

2) Speaking of Maxine Walters and her tendency to insult, hate, and verbally assault those that disagree with her, consider the recent flap surrounding singer Kanye West. Keep in mind that both Walters and West are African Americans. 

Kanye West recently stated that there were some things about the Trump Presidency that were not that bad and that Democrats were not always looking out for the best interests of the African American community. Well, this is near heresy among Democrats who have courted and relied upon the African American vote for decades even though they have not done much to improve the economic well being of the African American community.

And Maxine Walters did not like one of her own race daring to question the integrity and true intentions of Democrats [my emphasis added]: "Kanye West is a very creative young man. … But we also think that sometimes West talks out of turn and perhaps he needs some assistance in helping him to formulate some of his thoughts. We don't think that he actually means to do harm, but we're not sure he really understands the impact of what he’s saying, at the time that he’s saying it and how that weighs on, particularly the African-American community – and for young people in general...And I think maybe he should think twice about politics – and maybe not have so much to say."

She basically said that Kanye needs to shut up, follow the party line, and have no original thoughts, basically stay down on the plantation if I can be allowed to be so rude. Can you imagine if a white Congressman or woman had such things, they would have been labeled as racists by anyone on the left side of the political spectrum. But Maxine Walters says these racist things and Democrats, liberals, and the mainstream press go silent. So in her mind, Tea Party members can go to hell and uppity blacks need to just shut up, nice leadership from an elected official. Insanity.

3) Let’s consider that maybe Maxine Walters needs to “not have too much to say” given what she has said and done in the past:

• She wished that Tea Party supporters would go to hell.
• She called Los Angeles street riots an “uprising”as if there was something noble about rioting and looting.
• As a member of the House Financial Services Committee she used her position to help bail out her husband’s failing bank.
• She claimed that Putin and Russia had invaded Korea when they really invaded Crimea.
• She claimed that she was a millennial (obviously she was not).
• She claimed she never called for Trump’s impeachment even though she had indeed called for Trump’s impeachment.

This is a person who actually votes on laws that affects all of us. That is a real insanity.

4) There has been a lot of angst and fighting over the leaky border with share with Mexico. It allows drug cartels, human traffickers, illegal immigrants, criminal gang members, and potential terrorists to come into this country to the detriment to U.S. citizens and and their safety. 

Of course, many liberals and Democrats are okay with that, as witnessed in our previous post. There we discussed the reality of the Oakland mayor warning criminal illegal immigrants that Federal immigration officers were about to conduct raids in order to apprehend said criminals.

Maybe that mayor and others would have a different take on leaky borders if they were aware of a recent article on the Twitchy website:

• Border Patrol immigration agents recently rescued a tiger cub that someone was trying to smuggle into the country from Mexico.
• Four Mexicans were intercepted at the border by agents, causing them to drop a duffel bag and flee back over the border.
• When agents inspected the bag, they found a four month old sedated tiger cub inside:

Fortunately, reports are that the cub is in good health and will recover nicely from the incident. The bigger question is whether the mayor of Oakland and others like her will finally understand the dangers of leaky borders that if foreigners are trying to smuggle live wild animal over the border, what else are they smuggling

That will do it for today’s insanity: dangerous illegal animals coming over the border, the hatred of Maxine Walters of those that dare to disagree with her, and the another day, another example of the bias and hatred of the mainstream press. More insanity to follow.
