As we have dove into the whole issue of manmade global warming, or its new rebranded title of climate change, we found that Al Gore and people like him were guilty of a number of things:
- Ignoring science and realities that did not support their opinions and positions.
- Rather than have an adult conversation about climate, these types of advocates like Gore sank to the level of insulting those who dared look at ALL science by calling them a variety of names including racists, homophobes, terrorists, flat earth believers, and other slanderous names.
- Continuing to insist that politicians step up their intrusions into our lives with higher taxes, more regulations, and more control on our freedoms and standards of living based on a shaky theory at best.
Thus, let’s see the latest facts and science that prove you can be a global warming doubter and a believer in science, regardless of what Al Gore proclaims.
1) We have not done a lot of global warming/climate change myth busting for a while. Between the heightened political class insanity because of the election year, the riots and protests, and the virus crisis, we have had more than enough material to continually illustrate how inept, corrupt, and criminal the political class is. But that does not mean that the whole global warming and climate change nonsense is not still going on so let's catch up on it, beginning with the high potential for a coming ice age, not a global warming age:
- As we have previously reviewed, back in the 1970s, climate scientists were predicting a terrible coming ice age that would be a catastrophe.
- Within half of a generation those same types of scientists did a 180 degree pivot and started predicting a disastrous global warming trend, a trend that fizzled out about twenty years ago.
- And now we pivot again since NASA scientists are now predicting the onset of, you guessed it, global freezing.
- Specifically, NASA scientists are examining and tracking what could be the repeat of something called the Dalton Minimum.
- The original Dalton Minimum occurred between 1790 and 1830, a freezing climate time that resulted in brutally cold weather, crop failures, famine, and volcanic eruptions for decades.
- Average Earth temperatures dropped by 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit, 2 degrees, Celsius, enough to cripple crop production.
- In April, 1815, the second largest volcanic eruption in 2,000 years in Indonesia wiped out 71,000 people.
- The year was dubbed the “Year Without A Summer” in 1816, also nicknamed “eighteen hundred and froze to death.”
- That summer there was snow in July throughout the world.
- Jump ahead to the year 2020, a year which has seen the sun go “blank” with no sunspots 76% of the time.
- Last year the sun went blank 77% of the time.
- The last time this happened, the Dalton Minimum occurred, forty years of brutal cold and suffering.
2) We have discussed the following realities before but I thought it would be worthwhile doing it again since the information recently appeared in a Think Americana article by Troy Mullens on April 6, 2020:
- When Trump got into office, he pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement since it was a useless agreement that would accomplish nothing but strip American taxpayers of billions and billions of dollars.
- Of course, Al Gore types and liberals were beside themselves with rage since climate change is how Gore and others have gotten unbelievably rich off what is turning out to be a myth.
- But lo and behold, Trump pulling out of the agreement actually resulting in some great climate news.
- According to a report from the International Energy Agency (IEA), the United States had the biggest decrease in carbon energy related emissions in 2019 vs. every other country in the world.
- The U.S. reduced its carbon footprint 2.9% or 140 metric tons of CO2, the largest absolute decline of any country.
- The U.S. carbon footprint is now significantly reduced where it was in the year 2000, the biggest absolute decline of any country since that time.
- A huge factor in the carbon footprint reduction in this country has come from a 15% decrease in the use of coal in 2019.
- Also, the demand for air conditioning and heating in this country decreased because of milder summer and milder winter weather, something that Al Gore types predicted would not happen.
- In the same timeframe, India and China saw growth in their carbon footprint, not decreases, like the U.S. under Trump.
3) Let’s take a look back in history at some farcical government predictions that global warming advocates made regarding global warming and how it would destroy all life on the planet:
- Back in 2004, the Pentagon was given the task to do a top secret climate assessment analysis.
- Specifically, a top secret think tank within the Pentagon, the Office of Net Assessment (ONA), was given the task to research global warming.
- Which was a little strange to begin with since it was staffed by former CIA, NSA, State Department, and Pentagon types, hardly scientific whiz kids.
- Their task back in 2004 was to predict what global warming would do to the Earth by the year 2020, the current year.
- Their predictions fell short of actually coming true, all of which were supposed to happen before the year 2020:
- They predicted that England would be suffering through a Siberian climate.
- They predicted that multiple European cities would be completely under water and uninhabitable by 2005, one year later!
- They predicted so-called “mega-droughts”, famine and widespread rioting would happen in every major city in the world.
- They predicted the largest mass migration of humans in the history of the world would occur as people looked for scarce food supplies.
- They predicted that the lack of food would lead to mass cannibalism.
- They predicted that more and more countries would develop nuclear weapons to protect their borders and food supplies, using nuclear weapons to stop mass migration to their borders.
- The reported conclude with this terrifying statement: “Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life. Once again, warfare would define human life.”
Wow, serious stuff! Oh wait, none of this happened, not the Siberian climate, not the flooded cities, not the massive famines, etc., none...of...it...happened. So when some wacko Congresswoman from NYC or some teenage stooge from Sweden says we are all going to die from climate change in12 years, pardon us if we kind of chuckle. It has all been predicted hundreds of times and it has NEVER happened because of bad science, biased research and ignorant politicians.
4) Speaking of which, consider that other famous and complete failure as a climate forecaster Al Gore. In December, 2009, Al Gore predicted that there was an excellent chance that the Northern Polar Ice Cap would be completely melted within five years, by 2014.
He based his bold forecast on what he repeatedly called “state-of-art-climate” computer models when he stated at a Copenhagen climate meeting, “Some of the models suggest that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during some of the summer months, could be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years. Join me in asking president Obama and the US Senate to set a deadline of 22 April for final action in the US Senate. I do not believe we can wait till next November or December.” He went on to say that those that dared to doubt his computer models were “only reckless fools.”
Well, it looks like the reckless fools were right. In our current year, the polar ice cap is still very large and very cold. In fact, the cap is not melting, it is actually growing in size, thickness, and extent (DMI).
So the Pentagon was wrong, Al Gore was wrong, Gore’s state of the art computer models were wrong, every global warming prediction has been wrong. Which is why we continue to be global warming doubters and believers in science, real science.
