On a periodic basis we do some posts that fall under the theme of “by the numbers.” Rather than trust what the American political tells us about reality, we like to examine the real numbers and the real reality in the world to understand what is actually going on. Relying on politicians, and their cohorts in the media, to tell us what is reality is always a sucker bet. They have their own agendas and goals, usually centering around their needs and self-enrichment. So we need to look at the reality of the numbers to determine what is really going on.
Previous analyses of “by the numbers” can be accessed by entering the phrase in the search box above. This is the third and final post this month where we look at the numbers to truly find out how good, not likely, or bad, most likely, the American political class is doing in managing our tax dollars, protecting our freedoms, and resolving major issues that affect all of us.1) Biden and other politicians on the left end of the political spectrum have been obsessed for decades about global warming and its rebranded myth, climate change. He and those like him would like to put expensive and rationing restrictions on the everyday activities of every American, hitting the least wealthy the hardest..
But even if man made climate change is real, and we would point to sceince that says it isn’t, whatever the U.S. does to reduce its so-called carbon footprint would not matter, given what other countries are doing:
In 2022, the Chinese installed the equivalent of 100 coal fired, carbon spewing plants in their country to increase electricity supplies.
This is the equivalent of about 100 gigawatts of new coal generation, an amount of coal based energy production that will continue year in and year out.
China already produces about 25% of the world’s climate change-related emissions, about three times what the U.S, produces and that number of 25% is likely to go up as they bring more and more coal fired plants online.
Thus, for the planet to break even carbon-wise, the U.S. would have to close 100 coal fired plants and I doubt that there are that many in existence. Thus, as countries like China and India ignore the myth of man made climate change and continue to roll out more and more coal fired plants, whatever burden Biden and others impose on Americans to fight the myth of climate change it will never be enough to overcome what the rest of the world is doing. 100 coal fired plants brought on line in a single year proves that.
2)Try to follow this money laundering scheme, courtesy of the Biden family:
On March 1, 2017, less than 2 months after Vice President Biden left his post in the Federal government, State Energy HK Limited, a Chinese company, wired $3 million to a company owned by someone named Rob Walker.
The next day, Walker’s company wired $1,065,000 to a company associated with someone named James Gilliar.
James Gilliar is an alleged friend and business associate of the Biden family.
Over the next 3 months, Biden family members allegedly received about $1,065,000 in payments sent to different bank accounts from Gilliar
Thus, Biden family members allegedly received about one third of the money that was originally sent from a Chinese company to Rob Walker.
The money went to at least four different Biden family members and what they did, if anything, to receive this money is unknown at this time.
Sounds like a classic case of money laundering and bribery if the charges are true., The numbers do not lie.
3)Kari Lake supposedly lost an election to be governor of the state of Arizona back in last November. However, there were a number of serious voting violations and irregularities that indicate that the fix was in to ensure that she would not win the election, e.g. the person in the Arizona state government supervising election procedures, Katie Hobbs. was her opponent for governor, a clear case of conflict of interest.
Now, a recent Rasmussen poll reinforces her claim that the election was flawed and illegal:
In a poll, Rasmussen found that 52% of the respondents asserted that they voted for Lake.
Only 43% asserted they voted for Hobbs.
Similar results were found for other Republican candidates who also lost to their Democratic opponents.
Over 50% of those polled held a “favorable” view of Lake while only 44% held a “favorable” view of Hobbs.
Another piece of evidence that election fraud is real and likely happened in Arizona back in multiple elective office elections back in November. The numbers, if correctly sampled and answered, do not lie.
4)It seems that not only can we not trust election results, we may also not trust the mainstream press:
According to a recent Gallup poll, 50% of those polled disagreed that “national news organizations do not intend to mislead.”
Only 25% agreed that news organizations do not mislead.
52% disagreed that national news organizations “care about the best interests of their readers, viewers, and listeners.”
Only 23% of those polled agreed with that statement.
More proof that at least in the eyes of Americans, the mainstream media cannot be trusted, a serious threat to our freedoms. America has survived bad and corrupt politicians, Nixon, Carter, Obama, etc. but it cannot survive a biased journalism industry that does not represent truth.
4) The city of Austin was one of those liberal bastions that jumped on the “defund the police” bandwagon and reduced the budget and manpower of its police force. Unfortunately, the city, and other like it such as New York City, Chicago, Portland, and others, had no backup plan to fill the void created by fewer police resources.
Besides reducing manpower of its own police forces and budgets, many of the liberal politicians in these cities also harshly and unfairly criticized their police forces, resulting lower and lower morale. All of which led to skyrocketing crime in these cities.
The numbers in Austin bear this out:
It has become increasingly difficult to find resources to serve in all aspects of city law enforcement.
The Austin Police Department recently had to pull 460 officers off of tis specialized units, SWAT , homicide, and child abuse, to fill routine patrol vacancies.“We are in a crisis right now,” said APD Assistant Chief Jerry Bauzon last summer when the department faced a deficit of more than 250 positions.
And get this: things have gotten so bad that the average hold time for a 911 call on a busy night to the Austin police is a whopping 30 minutes… not 30 seconds … 30 minutes.
Imagine how much additional chaos, crime, and violence can happen in that 30 minute wait window.
Experts estimate that it will take 6 to 8 years for the department to catch up with its staffing needs that took such a dramatic hit during the defund the police frenzy.
The numbers prove again that the defund the police movement was and continues to be a disaster with fatal consequences.
5)San Francisco has been one of the worst hit defund the police cities:
Back in 2020 the city government stripped out a whopping $120 million out of the city’s police budget over two years.
Within one year, city homicides surged up 17% and property crime went up 7%.
In one city neighborhood, Tenderloin, violent crime was up 161% in one year.
The city has about 300 police force vacancies but has less than a dozen new officers ready for deployment.
More proof that defund the police was a great slogan and a horrible policy.
That will do it for today’s numbers and what they prove:
Whatever Biden and his ilk do for the myth of climate change, the carbon actions in the rest of the world will overwhelm those efforts.
More evidence that are elections are corrupted and frauds.
More evidence that we do not trust those in the journalism profession who should be protecting us from corrupt and dangerous politicians.
Biden’s family allegedly continues to benefit from that corruption
More evidence that defund the police was stupid.
Politicians may lie but the numbers do not.
