It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.
1)Many Democratic/liberal states and cities have been bragging for years that they are so-called “sanctuary states” and “sanctuary cities,” i.e. they welcome illegal immigrants into their domains. Over the years, though, they have only had to deal with a trickle of illegals since it was the border states like Texas that were constantly facing the daily brunt of thousands of new illegal immigrants flooding their roads and cities with the side effects being more crime, more drug smuggling, more public health issues, etc.
But recently those border states have finally said enough is enough. Texas and Florida governors decided that if these sanctuary cities and states were so willing to host illegal immigrants than let’s send illegal immigrants to those sanctuaries. And once that happened those liberal leaders’ hypocrisies were exposed since it turns out they did not want the flood of illegal immigrants any more than the border states wanted them.
Consider the sanctuary city of New York City:
Once illegal immigrants started being bused into NYC, the city mayor, Eric Adams, started wailing that his city and its limited budget could not handle such an influx of illegals even though beforehand he proudly bragged that his city was a sanctuary for illegal immigrants.
So rather than own up and take care of these immigrants like he promised, he decided that he could solve his problem by doing the exact opposite: shipping these folks OUT of his city and try to make someone else handle the burden that at one time he was so bravely extolling.
His plan was to use taxpayer funded bus tickets to ship his illegal immigrants to Canada and let the Canadians handle the problem.
Well, it did not take long for the Canadians to get wind of his plan and formally asked Adams to stop funding this migration of his illegal immigrant problem into their country.
Turns out that just like the border states and cities like NYC, the Canadian government is overwhelmed by the cost and need to feed, house, and care for far too many illegal immigrants.
Hypocrisy and stupidity rolled into one. Hypocrisy that those supporting unlimited illegal immigration would turn their backs on the very people they yelled were welcome into this country. Stupidity to think that they welcomed these folks without thinking through the strain on American taxpayers and tax revenue to house, feed, educate and medically treat a flood of millions of illegal immigrants.
And keep this in mind: for each illegal immigrant given food, housing, and medical treatment, another American who is homeless hungry, or facing an ever rising drug addiction rate because of open borders is not taken care of. Thus, we have a set of American politicians that ignore the needs of our own folks but superficially care more about foreigners flooding the country. Insanity.
2)One function of government in theory is to provide services to the population that can more efficently be done by a well functioning central government entity than by private enterprise. The key words here are “well functioning.” In theory, government should be the best source to build and maintain roads, bridges and damns, government should be the best source to educate everyone’s kids, etc.
However, in this country we do not presently have a “well functioning” government. Despite giving the Federal government trillions of our tax dollars over the years:
Our kids are still under educated vs. the rest of the world’s kids.
Our roads, bridges, and other infrastructure is still falling apart.
Our health care costs are still out of control, with Obama Care being the latest failure.
Our dependence on foreign energy sources is a still a major issue.
And apparently the Department of Transportation of the Federal government is no exception to this dysfunction despite being funded by tens of billions of dollars every year:
A jet at Los Angeles airport recently collided with a shuttle van injuring five people.
Two jets at the Dallas airport recently avoided a disastrous collision.
Two jets at a New York airport recently narrowly avoided a disastrous collision.
There have been multiple railroad accidents and derailments across the country with one in Ohio resulting in a deadly environmental disaster.
In January the domestic commercial airline business was shutdown because of as malfunction of a Federal government computer system, a computer system that apparently is years and years out of date.
We give the Federal government, and the politicians that oversee this Federal government and its agencies, trillions of dollars every year. Yet they continue to malfunction to unbelievable and often fatal degrees with no accountability EVER for these failures.
3)To be honest, over the years I do not think we have ever had anything good to say about the city of Chicago. It has had an every increasing violent crime rate, it has a major homeless problem that gets worse every day, residents and businesses are fleeing the city because of a declining quality of life, which is reducing the tax base, it cannot keep or recruit enough police officers because of the hateful attitude of city politicians towards law enforcement,, etc.
But things have never seemed to be this bad and embarrassing for the city’s political class:
Apparently on any one night there are upwards of a 1,000 homeless people living int he public areas of of Chicago’s airport.
Not quite the first impression any city wants to make for people flying into their city.
And their are reports of some homeless folks intimidating and accosting both travelers and airport workers.
And local Chicago residents have been taking to Twitter and other social platforms to make sure everyone know how bad this situation has become at their home airport, for example: “@chicagosmayor please clean up this city! This is the current state of O’Hare airport, homeless everywhere, sleeping all over terminal 2 and getting in peoples faces yelling. This is the first impression people get when they land in this city.”
Another Twitter user posted a picture of a homeless stretched out asleep int he middle of an airport terminal.
“It’s out of control,” custodian Vonkisha Chatman told CBS News. “None of us feel safe.”
Another airport worker, Catherine Thompson, told CBS News she’s been stalked while trying to do her job: “They will come up behind you. This one man followed us last night.”
I do not think any set of politicians in the country have failed their voters more than those in Chicago: nothing works, the city is extremely dangerous, and there is still no plan from them to fix the crime, homelessness, and lower and lower quality of life problems. Pathetic.
4) We do not talk about Joe Biden a lot here because if we did we could be writing 24 hours a day to cover his failures. But today, a little exception:
For those that have not been made aware of the ecological and dangerous train derailment situation in Ohio, do some research: animals are dying, rivers have been polluted, fish are dying, and the long term health impact on local residents living by the derailment are likely not to be good.
And by the way, this is just one of four recent train derailments in the country.
But Biden is no where to be found, he is thousands of miles away in Ukraine showboating for the world.
He has promised Ukraine millions and millions of dollars while Americans are suffering because of the rail derailments, not a dollar to ease their suffering.
Pathetic priorities: Biden cares more about Ukrainians than Americans, Biden cares more about illegal immigrants than Americans, Biden cares more about enriching himself and his family than Americans.
Enough insanity for today: Biden’s pathetic priorities, Chicago’s quality of life continues to go downhill fast, the massive failure of Biden’s Department of Transportation, and the hypocrisy of sanctuary cities and states.
