There is a lot going on in the world: Obama and Russiagate findings, Middle East powder keg, the Russian/Ukrainian war, Federal government shutdown, etc. But through all this, the American political class continues to constantly deliver its own special brand of insanity, stupidity, wasteful taxpayer spending, and ineffective government programs.
1)We recently discussed the insanity out in Des Moines where the Board of Education hired an illegal immigrant with a criminal record with likely fake educational credentials to be in charge of Des Moines schools. The illegal immigrant, Ian Roberts, was finally arrested by immigration officials. You cannot make this stuff up.
Update:
The school district is suing the JG Consulting company that was supposed to have done a background search when Roberts was submitted as a candidate for the position.
Given what we know now, it does not appear that JG Consulting is very good at its job.
The district is suing the company based on negligence and breach of contract.
Between the $300,000+ salary, the search cost, and the legal and PR costs as a result of the screw up, the district has paid out a lot of taxpayer money for their incompetence.
2)As most folks know, the Washington DC crime situation had gotten so bad that Trump sent in Federal law enforcement and National Guard troops to bring the situation under control. As with anything Trump does, the Democrats in Washington went ballistic with rage against anything Trump does.
But the Democratic mayor eventually acknowledged that Trump’s actions did significantly reduce the violence and crime in the District. And we now know that the crime situation was worse than thought, making Trump’s move even more important:
The House Oversight Committee is investigating accusations that the DC police department was intentionally suppressing crime data to make crime look better than it actually was.
Whistleblowers have testified that the police department and courtrooms have allowed criminals to “wiggle out of…more serious charges.”
The efforts were designed to suppress violent crime instances and were "pervasive from the top all the way down” the DC criminal justice system.
The committee found over 150 instances where supervisors overrode the classification of violent crimes by onsite police officers to downgrade the severity of criminal acts.
According to a DC police officer: “What happens all the time is, from the get-go, crimes are under classified,” the officer said, relating a crime scene where a person he arrested for firing a gun at a group of people, who “miraculously” didn’t shoot anybody, was charged with endangerment with a firearm, a lesser violent crime classification, instead of assault with a dangerous weapon.
In other cases, robbery, a violent crime, was often re-classified as theft, a less violent crime.
Another day, another example of corruption that now seems to permeate every aspect of any government entity.
3)As time goes by, the liberals and Democrats that claim Trump instigated the storming of the Capitol building on January 6th starts to fall apart, as we have discussed before:
Over a hundred documents and videos were destroyed by Democrats who served on the committee investigating January 6th just prior to Republicans taking control of the House of Representatives, raising the issue of what was on those videos and documents that would not support the Democrats claim that Trump was responsible.
We now know that a Republican Trump hater and someone serving on the committee, Liz Cheney reached out to a witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, got her to change her testimony before the committee to be more negative of Trump and also provided her with free legal counsel, and did so without contacting Cassidy Hutchinson’s lawyer before hand, a severe violation of legal protocol and possibly an illegal act of witness tampering.
We know that Black Lives Matter and Antifa people were rampaging through the building, certainly not supporters of Trump in any way.
And in recent testimony before Congress, FBI Director, Kash Patel, revealed more realities and documents that show that maybe, just maybe, the January 6th incident was a Democratic and Nancy Pelosi false flag event:
Pelosi rejected Trump’s multiple suggestions that the National Guard be deployed at the Capitol building before January 6th.
Patel also pointed to public letters on how DC Mayor, Muriel Bowser, had coordinated with Pelosi to not deploy National Guard troops.
It just so happens that Pelosi was actually filming a movie that day in the Capitol building which was eventually sold to HBO.
According to Patel, Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, just so happened to be filming in the building that day, providing video substance that eventually went into the HBO documentary.
Patel confirmed that a whopping 274 undercover FBI agents were in the Capitol building that day, making one wonder whether or not the agents were provoking the crowd.
Patel accused former FBI Director Christopher Wray of lying to Congress when he testified about how the FBI may have been involved in the situation.
What a mess: suspicious activities by Pelosi and a member of her family, almost 300 FBI agents deployed in the crowd, witness tampering, documents and videos destroyed, refusal to take the common sense approach of having too much security around the building vs. too little, left wing radical groups roaming the halls that day, the corruption and lying is overwhelming.
Final note based on absolutely no data or proof, just logical speculation: if the FBI had 274 undercover agents in the crowd, how many undercover ATF agents were in the crowd? How many undercover Department of Homeland security agents were in the crowd? How many under cover DC police officers were in the crowd? We may never know for sure but I think most logical thinking people know the answer.
4)Speaking of the FBI and corruption, consider this recent news report:
A recently uncovered 2017 FBI memo suggests that Bill Clinton was receiving shady payments that were routed through a consulting firm.
This little rumor came up in a Senate investigation when a FBI document was discovered.
The document discussed interviews with a Steven Sullivan, who was the CFO at a consulting firm called Teneo which is located in NYC.
The FBI agent who created the document claims that Teneo seems to have been a conduit for payments to Clinton via Doug Band, a former aide to Clinton.
Oh, by the way, Band owns Teneo.
Band continued to be involved with Clinton activities after Clinton left office: he arranged Clinton’s paid speaking engagements and consulting arrangements while helping establish the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative.
Republican Senators are calling for an investigation regarding the process and possibility that what the whistleblowers are saying is true, that Clinton allegedly was receiving illegal payments long after he left office.
The Senate concern is that the FBi looked the other way and refused to further investigate the 2017 letter contents, which if true, is another corruption story of the FBI.
Just a corruption filled day: alleged Clinton payments/kickbacks, FBI looking the other way, FBI agents in the January 6th crowd, FBI lying to Congress, corrupting city crime statistics and reality, and either corruption or just plain incompetence out in Des Moines.
