More Political Class Insanity: Chicago Remains A Dumpster Fire, Hunter Biden May Get Arrested, The Chinese Have Some Of Our Voter Data and More

 I think most folks realize that the American political class is pretty inept at anything it does and what it oversees the Federal government do. They spend a lot of taxpayer  money,  they never come up with a solution to a problem, they tend to get very rich off of their political status and elected office, and they generally are not the highest caliber of people from an integrity, morality, and honesty perspective:

1)Maurice Imhoff apparently is a 20 year old who is running for election to represent the 46th House District in the Michigan legislature. Pretty impressive that such a young person is running for office and until recently, had the endorsements of seasoned state Democratic politicians.


I say recently since that support has suddenly vanished and possibly for good reason:


  • Another Michigan resident, Mya Connell, recently went on social media and accused Imhoff of threatening to shoot up Northwest Middle School in 2016.

  • At that time, Ms. Connell and Imhoff were both students at that school.

  • There must be some credibility to the story since House Minority leader, Donna Lasinski, issued a statement claiming that the allegations of violence were disturbing and need to be taken seriously.

  • At the same time, she withdrew her support for Imhoff’s candidacy.

  • Imhoff and his campaign did not immediately react to the allegations.

  • Area news sources claim that they have confirmed the allegations via police reports they examined.


Fortunately, he did not shoot up the school. Fortunately, someone came forward to point his history since I would assume that most people would not want to elect someone who threatened to shoot up a middle school. And why this is all very distressing, it makes you wonder what background checks, if any, the local Democratic Party did before supporting Imhoff’s candidacy. Insane that this history was not found out BEFORE he became a representative of their party.


2)We did a large number of posts two years ago, proving, at least to ourselves, that Joe Biden did not win the 2020 Presidential election and thus, he was not elected to office, he was installed into the Presidency because of a very corrupt election process. Those of us who pointed out the varied and many ways that the election was corrupted were ridiculed and belittled by those people that had an intense hatred of Trump and were willing to overlook the corruption of the election process and the corruption of Joe Biden the politician.


But recent news does show a little vindication to those of us that have data, video, and statistics on our side to prove that the 2020 election was stolen and was corrupt:


  • An election software company’s CEO, Eugene Yu of Lansing, Michigan, was recently arrested in Los Angeles.

  • He is accused of illegally/improperly storing two million election workers’ personal information on computer servers based in Communist China.

  • He is the CEO of a company called Konnech

  • The Post Millennial outlet reported that: “‘Prosecutors learned of the data breach this year through a ‘separate investigation’ undertaken by the District attorney’s office, according to Gascón. He would not disclose the other investigation or exactly when his office became aware of the breach,’ the LA Times reported.”

  • The company denied that any wrongdoing had occurred.


Now maybe nothing shady happened, maybe the Chinese did not access the data stowed inside their country. But obviously someone in the DA’s office in LA  thinks someone broke the law and Yu is the person who they arrested. Anyhow, another blotch on the assertion that nothing shady was done relative to the 2020 election.


3)And it appears that Mr. Yu is not the only person under investigation and close to being arrested:


  • According to reporting by the Daily Wire, Federal prosecutors allegedly have enough information to charge Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, with an array of crimes and criminal behavior.

  • These alleged crimes include tax evasion and lying to investigators about a weapons purchase.

  • And it is not just conservative news outlets making these reports.

  • The left leaning, Democrat loving Washington Post reported that Federal agents had “determined months ago” that a reasonable and solid criminal case could be made against the younger Biden.

  • Now the question is whether the U.S. Attorney for the state of Delaware will go forward and execute a criminal case based on the findings of investigators.

  • Apparently the Feds started investigating Hunter Biden back in 2018 and his alleged shady financial dealings with overseas players.

  • Thai initial investigation effort got larger and larger and involved more and more Federal entities as the focus became whether Hunter had paid all of the taxes he was supposed to pay off of his foreign dealings, whether he lied on an ATF Form 4473 when he tried to purchase a firearm, and possibly foreign lobbying crimes.

  • Biden’s attorney denied the allegations and attacked the Federal agents and agencies that may have leaked the investigation results to the public, trying to deflect away from the actual criminal accusations.


But it is not just the Federal investigators that are interested in Hunter Biden’s activities, since according to the Daily Wire article: “ A group of over 30 GOP senators wrote a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland last month pushing for a special counsel to protect the ongoing Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation into Hunter Biden from politicization. The senators cited whistle blower accounts alleging that top officials at the FBI quashed concerning reports about the Biden scion" prior to being seen prior to the 2020 election.


From Russia to Ukraine to China, Hunter Biden flew around the world and used his family name to make himself very rich. Whether he paid taxes on those riches or broke other laws remains to be seen but it is going to get very interesting if the Republicans take back the House in next month’s elections and the resultant investigations they are bound to open up. That would be a movie I would pay to see. Oh wait, that move was already made:

4)Far too many times we have  talked about the disaster that is the city of Chicago. For years, thousands of residents have been shot, killed and maimed by skyrocketing gang violence in the streets. Higher and higher taxes paying for fewer and fewer government services has led city, and state of Illinois residents and businesses, to flee to other safer, less heavily taxed and better quality of life locations around the country.


And it is not just small, mom and pop businesses who are fleeing the city. Major companies like Boeing, Caterpillar, and Citadel Management have moved their business locations out of the city, not wanting to subject their employees to the escalating street violence they were facing just coming to work everyday. And the out migration recently included another major Chicago employer:


  • Food giant, Tyson Foods, recently announced that it would be moving its corporate staff out of the offices it has in the city of Chicago.

  • Those jobs will be relocated to Springdale, Arkansas.

  • According to the company: "The move will foster closer collaboration, enhance team member agility and enable faster decision making, positioning Tyson to win with its team members, customers, and consumers." 

  • Nice PR statement but one has to  think that the declining quality of life in the city along with the rising crime had something to do with moving out of the city.

  • Citadel Management founder, Ken Griffin  moved his operations out of Chciago to Miami where the murder rate is half what it is in Chicago and the tax burden is far less.

  • Mr. Griffin came right and said the obvious regarding his company move in that the crime rate in Chicago had motivated the company move out of the city.


Chicago has now probably entered into a financial death spiral that will eventually crush the city’s financial viability and force it into bankruptcy. As crime and taxes continually rise, more and  more tax paying businesses and residents move out. As more businesses and residents move out, less tax revenue flows into the city coffers which requires budget cuts and a lower quality of life (fewer police officers, fewer firefighters, fewer teachers) which drives more businesses and residents out of the city. This reduces taxes even more and the death spiral is in play.


And the current mayor, Lori Lightfoot, and her henchmen in the city government have  no clue how to fix what continues to be broken.


That will do it for today’s wide ranging political class insanity: a political  candidate once threatened to shoot up his middle school, a Presidential son may get indicted for major crimes, more potential  corruption regarding our voting processes, and Chicago continues to be a dumpster fire.

The Continuing Ineptness and Incompetence of Washington Politicians and The Biden Administration

 I think most folks realize that the American political class, especially at the Federal government level, is pretty inept at anything it does and what it oversees the Federal government do:


  • The Federal government has had over two  hundred years to learn how to operate a profitable Postal System and yet our current Postal System loses billions of dollars a year.

  • Social Security has been around for about 90 years and our current set of Washington politicians are doing nothing to fix it as it hurtles towards insolvency.

  • Medicare has been around for about 50 years and our current set of Washington politicians are doing  nothing to fix it as it hurtles towards insolvency.

  • The American taxpayer has probably spent hundreds of billions of dollars via the Department of Education since the Department was formed and yet American kids still get under-educated vs. kids in dozens of other countries.

  • These folks cannot even operate a simple National Do Not Call list,  given the many unwanted calls I get every week offering me low mortgage rates, car insurance and many other unwanted services and products.


Yes, they are quite inept and incompetent. But probably their biggest and most dangerous failing is in economic and budgeting policy. They print money and spend money like candy and nothing ever gets accomplished or fixed, as witnessed by the list above. As a result, we have a $31 TRILLION Federal government national debt and yet our schools still under-educate,  our national infrastructure of roads, bridges and dams are still  falling apart, and  major, important life sustaining programs like Social Security and Medicare are falling apart.


And the current administration seems clueless on how to fix any of these .problems and with the passage of its massive spending programs it has created inflationary price spirals that we have  not seen in about 40 years:


  • When Trump left office and Biden took over, the annual  inflation rate was about 2%.

  • By June, just a  few  months after Biden took office, the annual inflation rate was 5.4% but Biden said don’t worry, we have everything under control: “our experts believe, and the data shows, that most of the price increases we’ve seen were expected and expected to be temporary.”

  • By December,  2021,  Biden’s “temporary price increases” had grown to 6.8% year over year.

  • At that time he admitted that inflation was a “real bump in the road”   but that the economy and country had reached the “peak of the crisis.”

  • Unfortunately, he was wrong again, it was not a bump in the road and we had not reached the peak yet.

  • Prices continued to rise every month in 2022 hitting a 40 year high  in June, 2022.

  • All of a sudden, having been proven wrong about inflation for a year, Biden decided to blame others for his ineptness and incompetence of his administration blaming the Ukrainian/Russian war, price gouging oil companies, etc.,  refusing to take responsibility for the outrageous Federal government  spending, and borrowing, initiatives he forced through the Democratically control Congress.

  • But he really showed his economic ignorance, and I think this says it all for his stupidity, when he claimed that there was no inflation in the month of July, 2022: “I just want to say a number,: zero. Today, we received news that our economy had zero inflation in the month of July. Zero percent.”

  • However, inflation had been  8.5% in June and ANOTHER 8.5% in July.

  • Thus the rate of change in the inflation rate had been zero but the year over year inflation increases in July was still a soul crushing 8.5%.

  • Given that Biden cannot understand this very simple algebra concept, it is doubtful he has the intellectual ability to fix the problem he has created.

  • He tried to pawn off the horrid “Inflation Reduction Act” as a cure all for inflation but that legislation is just another wasteful spending and debt inducing boondoggle of the Washington political class.

  • The Wharton economic experts at the University of Pennsylvania ran their economic models and predicted that BEST CASE, this legislation would reduce inflation by .1%, basically rounding error.


Thus, you have a President that does not understand basic algebra and fractions, never mind  economic theory and  concepts,  and a Congress that is passing legislation disguised as wasteful spending for their pet projects which will drive up the national debt while maybe reducing inflation by .1%.


And as a result of this incompetence in D.C.,  this is what Americans consumers are facing everyday when they go to the supermarket to feed their families [per the Wall Street Journal reporting, August year over year price changes for groceries during the Biden Presidency]:


  • Overall increase in grocery prices: 13.5%

  • Butter up 24.6%

  • Roasted coffee up 18.7%

  • Milk up 17%

  • Snacks up 16.7%

  • Chicken up 16.6%

  • Breakfast cereal up 16.4%

  • Bread up 16.2%

  • Rice and pasta up 15.7%

  • Cookies up 14.3%

  • Ice cream  up 14%.

  • Seafood up 8.7%

  • Fruit up 8.3%

  • Vegetables up 7%

  • Pork up 6.8%

  • Beef and veal up 2.5%


So much for inflation under Biden being temporary, transitional, a bump in the road, etc. This is what happens when politicians operate anything: they muck it up, be it the Post Office , Social Security, Medicare,  Do Not Call  list, or economic and budgeting policy. We pay the price with higher and higher taxes, higher government debt, and higher food prices. And nothing ever gets better.

The Continuing Hypocrisy of the American Political Class: Presidential Voting Fraud

 As we have  discussed many times in this post there is no set of Americans more full of hypocrisy than the American political class:


  • While millions of Americans are forced to live with the idiocy that are Obama Care insurance policies, American politicians treat themselves to world class medical care and health insurance with taxpayer money, getting far better health care than the taxpayers that pay for politicians’ health care.

  • While just about every American was forced to shelter in place and wear masks when out in public during the height of the covid crisis, American opticians were going about their normal lives, getting their hair done, getting their nails done, going out to dinner without using masks, taking vacations trips that regular Americans were forbidden to take,  etc.

  • While Americans go  to jail for insider stock trading, American politicians can enrich themselves via insider information without fear of jail times.


This is obviously just a partial list of their ongoing and blatant hypocrisy. The latest example of their hypocrisy was pointed out in a recent Wall Street Journal article. Obviously, most people  know that there was a riot and invasion of the Capitol building on January 6, 2021 when supposed Trump supporters protested the corrupt election of Joe Biden.


Now what is becoming known is that the crowd in the building was not only Trump supporters. We now know that Antifa gang members, Black Lives Matter folks, undercover FBI and other government agents and who knows who else were among the crowd. Thus, who knows who was causing the problems.


But Democrats and  liberals have gone crazy over this incident, acting like it never happened before, having biased Congressional hearings, staffing the hearing committee investigating the incident with Trump hating Congress people, calling on only selective witnesses, falsifying documents, destroying documents, etc. They have acted like the country was about to be overthrown.


And yet when  Democrats,  liberals and their supporters did similar acts of aggression in the past, Democrats were mute in their response. No outrage, no Congressional hearings, etc., their hypocrisy is overwhelming given the history of left wing, liberal groups attacks on government elections, buildings and institutions:


  • For example, 2005, 31 Democrats of the House of Representatives voted to object that Ohio’s Presidential electoral votes were being awarded to George W. Bush despite Bush beating John Kerry by 118,601 votes in the state,

  • And yet in 2021 Democrats cried foul when Trump investigated the possibility of voiding electoral votes for Biden based on voting fraud allegations.

  • In 2005, Congressman John Conyers went on the House floor and claimed that “electronic machines transferred” votes from Kerry to Bush.

  • He want on to say that some Ohio precincts had more votes than registered voters, some voters cast more than one vote, and that voting machines could be accessed remotely and vote totals changed,

  • But when Trump made the exact same accusations in 2020, Democrats went wild with hypocrisy, ignoring the fact that they made the same accusations 15 years before.

  • Many of the same people that accused Bush of voting fraud are still in Congress and ignored their hypocrisy when Trump made the same arguments they did in 2005, e.g.  Maxine Walters, Ed Markey, Frank Pallone, Conyers, and others.

  • At that time Pelosi supported the baseless Democrat allegations of voter fraud by saying that “[voting] debate is fundamental to our democracy,” and warned Republicans not to “talk about this as a conspiracy theory,” and argued the accusations were “about the Constitution.”

  • When Trump basically said the exact same thing what Pelosi said in 2005, she ignored her hypocrisy and instituted a Congressional  committee to investigate not the voting fraud realities but investigate Trump.

  • Biden has not helped the situation by continuing the hypocrisy that Pelosi and others set out in 2005 by accusing those that doubted the results of the 2020 election that they were “thwarting the will of the people” and that he “would not stand by and watch the will of the American people be overturned by wild conspiracy theories and baseless evidence-free claims of fraud.”

  • And yet I would bet that hypocritical Biden did not speak similar words when members of his party did the exact same thing in 2005.


And while Democrats in 2021 got rightfully upset that thousands of Trump supports, Antifa members Black Lives Matter folks, and undercover government agents invaded the Capitol building, these same Democrats were silent when left wing liberal groups planted bombs in the Capitol and Selective Service locations in the past or when liberals attacked dozens of Federal buildings during the George Floyd riots.


I am not defending the Trump incident in January, 2021 or the Democratic uproar against Bush in 2005. In essence they are the exact same thing from a hypocrisy perspective: in 2005, the Democrats went wild on their voting fraud accusations, not to protect the Constitution and our democracy but to get their guy elected president. In 2021, the exact same thing happened but the roles were reversed.


The bottom line is all members of the American political class do  not usually care about freedom, honest elections, or hypocrisy: they are only in it for themselves, be it insider trading, getting their hair and nails done while regular Americans go hairy and live with unadorned nails, or when they live by the old adage, ‘do as I say, not as I do.” They all stink.


Personal opinion: I  am a professionally trained statistician. I looked at the election results of the 2020 Presidential election, and in my statistical opinion, the election was rigged and Biden was not elected to the Presidency, he was installed as President. This post and others lay out the statistical  discrepancies, the mathematical impossibilities, and other irregularities in the voting results. These posts also discussed the documented cases of eye witnesses seeing the voting results being manipulated, deleted, falsely submitted. 


Since that time, I have accumulated over 700 news articles of voting fraud instances where people have been arrested, prosecuted, and found guilty of voter fraud. I would be  more than happy to share any of these articles with anyone who is interested. In my mind, given the numbers, the results, the eye witness accounts, and prosecution of voter fraud across the country, the 2020 Presidential election was a mess of fraud, deceit and cheating.


By the way, as I have  made clear many times in this blog, I did not vote for Trump in 2020 or 2016, I have never voted for a Republican for President, and when I was a resident of New Jersey I was a registered member of the Democratic party for a time. So please, no accusations that I am a disgruntled Trump voter, I am a disgruntled American voter who is convinced that there was massive voter fraud in 2020 and that we are still being led by some of the most hypocritical people in this country, the American political class.
