August, 2018, Part 5, Political Class Insanity: Poop In San Fran, Murder In Georgia, Incompetence at the TSA and More,

It is another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let’s get started:

1) We have often discussed the perpetual question, which is the most inept Federal government organization? The top three candidates are usually the TSA, the Social Security Administration, and the Pentagon for various and often creative failures. This week the TSA takes the honor because of an incident in Seattle:

• Apparently an airline employee at the Seattle-Tacoma airport stole an airliner and went for a joy ride around the Seattle area.
• Unfortunately, the employee was on a suicide mission and crashed the airliner onto a sparsely populated island in Puget Sound.
• Fortunately, the employee was not a terrorist or homicidal maniac since crashing the airliner in downtown Seattle would have been a total disaster.

Which gets us back to the TSA: how is it possible that an unauthorized, non-pilot can walk into a hangar at a major U.S., back out an airliner, and then take off? Who in the world was controlling access to both the plane and the runway? We have given the TSA untold billions and billions of dollars to protect us over the years since 9-11 and yet something like this happens? This week, the TSA is the most inept Federal entity in the country.

2) It is no secret that most politicians can lie at the drop of a hat and can move in and out of hypocrisy as the situation warrants. Such was the case of a Congressional candidate in Georgia:

• Kellie Collins recently ran for Congress in that state.
• A major part of her campaign was to be a strong anti-gun advocate, wanting to confiscate Americans’ guns.Not only was she not successful in her Congressional bid, she is now under arrest for allegedly murdering her campaign treasurer with….a gun.

As always with American politicians, it is do as I say,not as I do.

3) We have recently and previously discussed the disgusting situation in San Francisco in that the homeless problem is so bad there that the city had to set up a hotline for people to report human feces locations on public streets. The hotline gets dozens of calls every DAY which requires the city to send out personnel to clean up the human poop. A raging political class failure like this situation, turning the streets of a great American city into a third world cesspool.

Well, since those discussion, the situation must have gotten worse since according to the San Francisco Chronicle:

• The city has formed a new, formal “poop control” outfit that now does not wait for a call to come regarding human poop on a street, the patrol actively goes around the city looking for it.
• According to Public Works director, Mohammed Nuru: "We're trying to be proactive. "We're actually out there looking for it."
• And this is not a joke, Landon Breed who was elected the city’s mayor in July told local news outlets that "there's more feces on the sidewalks than I've ever seen growing up here."
• The patrol will consist of five city employees who will drive around in a vehicle equipped with a steam cleaner to clean up the public poop messes.
• According to Breed: "I've been talking to the Department of Public Works director on a regular basis, and I'm like, 'What are we going to do about the poop?'" He and I talked about coming up with some different solutions. "I just want the city to be clean, and I want to make sure we're providing the resources so that it can be."

Of all the discussions one would expect a city’s officials and politicians to have in this country, would one ever expect it to include an agenda item called,”What are we going to do about the poop on the street?” Would you ever expect the politicians of a great city like San Francisco to be so inept that this type of conversation could even exist? Insane.

4) And finally, some political class insanity from Hollywood. Recently in a special Congressional election in Ohio, Troy Balderson defeated Democrat Danny O’Connor by less than 1% of the vote. Balderson won by about 1700 votes. 

But it did not take long before a third tier, nobody Hollywood actress, Alyssa Milano, decided she knew two reasons why the Democrat lost. She blamed 1) Green Party voters who diverted enough votes away from O’Connor and 2) wait for it….the Russians obviously caused the defeat of O’Connor. Yes, the Russians are the cause of EVERY thing that goes wrong with Democrats: “Because of our unwillingness to pass policy that protects our election integrity, I immediately think the Green Party votes tonight are Russian meddling. Why else would anyone cast a protest vote in Ohio when there’s so much at stake?#OH12

My gosh, Putin must wake up every morning and just laugh and laugh at us. A nobody American actress gives the Russians credit for something she has absolutely no proof of. Oh, by the way Miss Milano, the Green Party candidate in this election got less than 1,200 votes, meaning that if you had a head for math, even if every citizen who voted for the Green Party candidate switched to the Democrat, he STILL would have lost, that is simple math. 

Oh, and by the way, you have no right to berate any American citizen that exercises their right to vote the way they want to vote, not the way you want them to vote.

That will do it for today: a still inept TSA, still poop in the streets of San Francisco, a gun control politician uses a gun to kill her campaign treasurer, and Hollywood idiocy and elections continue.
