September, 2020, Part 11, Political Class Insanity: Minneapolis Goes Lawless, The State Department Ignores thew Fourth Amendment and The Clinton Email Scandal Continues

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

To review past posts on this insanity and idiocy, just click on the first few posts in each month listed to the right of this page. After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) We have not talked about Hillary Clinton for a while, probably because she brings no value to the table when it comes resolving the nation’s issues. And the reality is that if she was not Hillary Clinton she would probably be in jail for the criminal transgressions she and her foundation have incurred over the years and the laws she broke while Secretary of State.

But recent news reports show that her transgressions may have been worse than even we imagined along with the FBI coverup to keep her out of jail:

• Recall that a few years ago it was discovered that hundreds of thousands of secret Hillary’s State Department emails were found on the unsecured computer of Anthony Weiner, the husband of Clinton’s chief of staff.
• Former FBI agent, John Robertson, was busy back then investigating crimes against children.
• That is when he came across Anthony Weiner’s computer regarding Weiner’s trolling for underaged girls on the Internet.
• Like a good FBI agent, he reported these State Department unsecured emails to his superiors, FBI superiors who just happened to be the same FBI people who went headhunting and conspiring to remove Trump from office.
• Robertson was worried that no one above him in rank was moving on this bombshell information, secret State Department emails on an unsecured computer: “The crickets I was hearing was really making me uncomfortable because something was going to come down. Why isn’t anybody here? Like if I’m the supervisor of any [counterintelligence] squad … and I hear about this, I’m getting on with headquarters and saying, ‘Hey, some agent working child porn here may have [Hillary Clinton] emails. Get your ass on the phone, call [the case agent], and get a copy of that drive,’ because that’s how it should be. And that nobody reached out to me within, like, that night, I still to this day don’t understand what the hell went wrong. I have very deep misgivings about the institutional response of the FBI to the congressional investigation into the Hillary Clinton email matter … Put simply: I don’t believe the handling of the material I have by the FBI is ethically or morally right. But my lawyer’s advice — that I simply put my SSA on notice should cover me — is that I have completed CYA [Cover Your Ass], and I have done so,” Robertson wrote in a letter back in 2016. “Further, I was told by [Kramer] that should I ‘whistleblow,’ I will be prosecuted.”
• Further: “I possess — the FBI possesses — 20 times more emails than Comey testified to. … While Comey did not know at the time about what I have, people in the FBI do now, and as far as I know, we are being silent. … If I say or do nothing more, I am falling short ethically and morally. And later, I may be accused of being a Hillary Clinton hack because of the timing of all this. … But if I say something (i.e., whistleblow), I will lose my reputation, my career, and risk prosecution. I will also be accused of being a Donald Trump hack.”
• Robertson went on to testify to Congress that he was told to erase everything he had found and be quiet about the whole experience.

So Hillary allowed secret documents to end up on the unsecured computer of a child predator. An FBI agent investigating the predator finds these hundreds of thousands of emails and tells his FBI superiors about this massive security breach. His superiors go before Congress and lie about the volume of material that was found unsecured on Weiner’s laptop. They then tell a hard working FBI agent to make the whole criminal incident go away or his career would be in trouble.

And Obama supporters claim there were no scandals during his administration, a stance that has been destroyed many times. But here we see the top law enforcement officers in the Federal government suppressing law breaking and criminal activity for the sake of politics. Disgusting.

2) Shady doings at the State Department are not restricted to the Hillary Clinton/Barack Obama era, some illegal stuff was going on in 2019 during the Trump administration:

• Freedom Of Information Act requests by Judicial Watch have shown that the State Department in 2019 illegally spied on conservative Americans.
• Turns out the State Department illegally tracked the social media accounts of at least 13 Americans including Donald Trump, Jr., Fox News star Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lou Dobbs, and others.
• The illegal surveillance operation was conducted out of the U.S. embassy in Kiev when it was being run by Trump hater, Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch.

What the reason or purpose of the monitoring in a remote embassy was being used for or what triggered it is unknown. But all of those monitored would be considered conservatives/Republicans and even included Judicial Watch president, Tom Fitton. Another case of innocent Americans being illegally targeted and tracked without proper judicial oversight, a violation of their Fourth Amendment rights.

Looks like it is a Federal entity out of control, between lax monitoring of its documents' circulation to the illegal spying on Americans, do any of these people know anything about law and order and the Constitution?

3) Minneapolis was the center of the riots and anarchy that ensured after the police murder of George Floyd. Rioters and anarchists burned down parts of the city, destroying the homes and businesses of so many city residents.

As a result of this police murder, the local politicians on the town council hastily decided that they needed to “defund the police” and go about community safety a whole new way. The problem is they still do not know what that whole new way is.

However, that did not stop them from reducing the police budget and bad mouthing every city police officer because of the horrid behavior of a few bad cops. As we have discussed before, this budget cutting and undermining the integrity and effectiveness of the city police force has resulted in an explosion of violence, murders and crime in the city. So much so that:

• City residents have started to compare their neighborhoods and downtown areas to a “war zone.”
• The center of the George Floyd riots was in the police department’s 3rd precinct.
• The building in that precinct was burned down during the riots and thus there is no longer a physical police presence in the neighborhood which has resulted in increased assaults and robberies.
• Local business, Pedego Electric Bikes, got so frustrated that the owner formally communicated his concerns for his business and the safety of his employees, who were afraid of being robbed or attacked, to the city Police Chief.
• The bike shop owner, Craig Paulson got the following response from the police chief: “As far as a long-term plan I don’t have one. I have lost 30% of my street officers since the end of May. Budget cuts from COVID-19 and an additional 1.5 million from the council in August we have let go of 17 CSO’s and canceled a recruiting class of 29. A potential Cadet class slated for January of 2021 was also eliminated. It takes about a year to get a police Officer onto the streets with hiring, backgrounds, and field training so reinforcements aren’t coming anytime soon. We are doing everything we can with what we have. I hate to see great businesses like yours and the rest of your corridor being victimized and feeling unsafe. Please let me know if you have any more questions.” 
• Wow, in other words Mr. Paulson, you and the rest of the businesses and residents of the city are on your own since 1) my budget has been cut, 2) my current police force staffing has been slashed, and 3) there are no police reinforcements on the way any time soon.

A very, very basic function of government at any level is to protect the lives and property of the citizens that the government and the politicians operating that government represent. In Minneapolis, a hasty and stupid rush to judgement when it comes to police operations has endangered the lives and property of every city in Minneapolis. It was a stupid concept to defund the police department and even more stupid concept to do it without having a comprehensive and effective replacement plan.

As a result, the local political class in Minneapolis has violated a very basic tenet and responsibility of government, protecting lives and property. Given this failure, it is a pretty easy prediction that residents and businesses will be moving out of the city in ever increasing numbers for places that actually protect their lives and property.

So, a massive government failure in Minneapolis, a government violation of the Fourth Amendment out of a U.S. embassy far, far away, and the Hillary Clinton law breaking, and the high ranking government/FBI officials that protected her, continues to this day.

Joe Biden's Pathetic Attempt To Convince Us There Were No Obama Presidency Scandals,Not A "Whisper"

We wanted to move on to the latest unfolding disasters of Obama Care theme that we have been running over the past decade or so, given how pathetically bad that piece of legislation has performed. But we decided to put that off for a day or so and follow up on a statement that Joe Biden made in the past few days. 

As you probably know, Biden is now the 300th or so Democratic candidate for President in 2020. He made a bunch of press and TV rounds the day he announced his candidacy and made a ridiculous assertion that Obama has also made any number of times since his failure of a Presidency ended. Biden claimed that the Obama administration had not had a single major scandal. Specifically, he said there was not a “whisper of a scandal” in the Obama White House.

Such insanity and such a lie. Hey, Joe, let’s review a few “whispers” of a scandal:

• Benghazi - Four Americans were killed when the Obama administration refused to allow U.S. military resources to deploy and rescue them. The scandal got compounded when the entire Obama administration claimed that the attack on the U.S. consulate at Benghazi was caused by an obscure YouTube video. However, we knew years ago that the Obama crew lied through their teeth, that they knew ahead of time what was going to happen and it had nothing to do with a video. Judicial Watch’s actions and access to government documents in the past few weeks proves the lie, a lie that was needed to protect Obama’s false assertion that he had conquered terrorism and to protect his run for reelection. Obama, Hillary, et al committed to the family of those murdered Americans that they would bring the perpetrators to justice, an unfulfilled promise seven years later.
• The Obama administration broke numerous domestic laws, international laws, and international treaties and agreements by gun running military grade weapons to Mexican drug cartels via the Fast and Furious scandal. These weapons eventually were used to kill Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and dozens, if not hundreds, of Mexican civilians.
• Obama allowed his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to operate an illegal and unsecured computer server in her home which ended up in the unlawful mishandling of government classified information. The data management processes of secret information was so atrocious that over 600,000 pieces of information ended on on the unsecured laptop of convicted sex pervert, former Congressman Anthony Weiner, the former husband of Clinton’s chief of staff.
• Obama released five high value Taliban prisoners and leaders for a measly single American Army deserter, Bowe Bergdahl. These five Taliban leaders are believed to have reentered the world of terrorism while the many soldiers that were killed and wounded searching for Bergdahl after he deserted received no special treatment and were basically ignored by everyone in the Obama administration.
• Obama broke precedent and laws by paying the Iranians $40 million for the release of an American prisoner and then tried to cover up the reality that pallet loads of cash had indeed been shipped to the Iranians for the release.
• Obama allowed Hillary Clinton to run an international pay to play and money laundering operation, using the Clinton Foundation as a front, during her time as Secretary of State.
• Mismanagement of the Veterans Administration during the Obama years resulted in months long wait times for veterans to get a simple appointment with a doctor. This situation likely resulted in the death of some veterans while on the appointment wait list. At the same time, the inept VA administrators that allowed these conditions to exist received robust bonus and promotions opportunities. Despite promising to fix the problem early in his Presidency, he never made any attempt or achieved any success in doing so.
• Obama allowed his Attorney General to meet with Bill Clinton on the tarmac at an Arizona airport in a blatant attempt to make sure the Federal government and the Obama administration did not pursue criminal charges against Hillary Clinton on any number of different fronts.
• Obama gave out billions and billions of taxpayer dollars to shaky alternative energy companies, the vast, vast majority of which were run or backed by Democratic operatives and donors, all of which went belly up along with billions of taxpayer dollars. The administration then compounded the disaster by, in at least one case, Solyndra, illegally putting a private Democratic donor ahead of the American taxpayer in Solyndra bankruptcy proceedings.
• Secret Service agents partook of frolicking with prostitutes during an Obama South American visit, frolicking that may have been financed by drug cartel money.
• The initial Obama Care website, that never worked even though $600 million had been spent on it, a failure that was the result of Michelle Obama’s college friend’s company blowing up the effort, was illegally approved for rollout despite not getting the lawfully required government approval.
• There is not enough time in the day to list all of the Obama Care scandals including the multiple times that the Obama administration broke the law by unlawfully delaying, changing, or ignoring the tenets of the law he helped pass.
• His administration illegally tried to get Americans and American companies to pay high amounts of money for Freedom Of Information Act requests even though the law prohibits such payments.
• Obama shredded the Fourth Amendment by using the country’s spy apparatus to collect, store, and spy on just every Americans’ electronic communications.
• Obama shredded the First Amendment by weaponizing the IRS against Republican and conservative interests to illegally support his reelection campaign.
• Obama continued to shred the First Amendment by spying on journalists, an action that drew rebukes from many journalism industry groups and spokespeople.
• For the first time ever in America, the Obama administration put together and executed a formal hit list of American citizens to be assassinated overseas, depriving those Americans their right to a fair trial.
• The Obama administration violated the Constitution and the War Powers Act by involving the United States and its military in the Libyan civil war, an action cost untold billions of American tax dollars, toppled one of the more progressive Middle East societies, resulted in untold thousands of Libyans being killed and maimed, and turned the country into a terrorist haven that exists up to today.
• Biden fought against the operation that ended up killing Bin Laden, the terrorist that oversaw the plan that killed almost 3,000 innocent American on September 11, 2001.

Okay that is enough, you get the idea, we could have listed more but that would get to be overkill.

Joe, these are much more than whispers of scandals. These actions were often illegal, wasteful of taxpayer wealth, violated Americans rights, violated American and international laws, violated the Constitution, and resulted in the deaths and maiming of thousands of human beings around the world. 

If, after reading this list, you or any of your supporters still believe that there were no scandals during the Obama administration then I pity you and your lack of touch with reality.

March, 2018, Part 6, Political Class Insanity: Pelosi Wants To Cut The Grass and 41 Real Reasons Why Hillary Lost

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let's get started:

1) In our previous post we discussed Nancy Pelosi’s insanely stupid observation that the wall to be built on the southern border to keep drug cartels, human trafficking, gang members, and terrorists out of the country was “too high.” Yes, a wall to be built to protect Americans is too high according to a Washington politician who obviously does not understand the concept of a wall.

• But she was not done making inane comments about the government’s failed attempt to protect American citizens from the illegal people and activities coming over the border:
• Rather than building a wall, Pelosi suggested that we cut the grass along the border rather than build a wall in some places so that we can see the criminality going on.
• In an interview done for the Arizona Republic: "Let’s talk about where a more serious structure might be necessary, where fencing will do or mowing the grass so people can’t be smuggled through the grass.”
• Yes, the only reason we have such a lawless situation on the border is because the grass is too high, we just need to cut it and drug cartels, human traffickers, and terrorists will not come into the country illegally because with shorter grass they would be seen: nonsense.

When it comes to Nancy Pelosi no comment, no idea, no nonsense is too stupid.

2) Hillary Clinton has been touring the world, a paid tour because God forbid the Clintons do something and not get paid for it, where she has been bashing millions of American women who voted for Donald Trump. She continues to claim that millions of American women were too stupid to know who to vote for and were forced to vote for Trump because their husbands and brothers told /forced them too. This passivity of millions of American women cost her the election.

I recently came across a listing of other potential, and real, reasons why she lost to a political neophyte. Rather than continuing to blame others for her epic election failure, maybe she should consider the following 41 reason why she was a failed Presidential candidate, 41 reasons that are real rather imagined in her head:

Hillary - “I'm Still Trying To Figure Out How I Lost The Election:”

1. Was it the Russian Uranium Deal?
2. Was it Wikileaks?
3. Was it John Podesta?
4. Was it my campaign calling African Americans and Muslims “professional never-do-wells?”
5. Was it my campaign lumping all Hispanic cultures under a single “taco bowl” designation, basically reducing every Hispanic to a cheap Mexican lunch option?
6. Was it my campaign calling Latinos “needy?”
7. Was it my campaign calling millennials “f***ing stupid?”
8. Was it James Comey?
9. Was it having a sexual predator as a husband?
10. Was it Huma Abedin’s sexual predator husband Anthony Weiner?
11. Was it Huma Abedin storing thousands of secret and classified government documents on a convicted sex predator’s (her husband Anthony Weiner,) unsecured laptop computer?
12. Was it because the Clinton Foundation ripped off Haiti?
13. Was it Congressional subpoena violations?
14. Was it the Congressional testimony lies?
15. Was it the corrupt Clinton Foundation?
16. Was it the Benghazi fiasco and lies?
17. Was it pay for play via the Clinton Foundation?
18. Was it being recorded laughing because I got a child rapist off when I was an attorney? 
19. Was it the Travel Gate scandal?
20. Was it the Whitewater scandal?
21. Was it the Cattle Gate scandal?
22. Was it the Trooper-Gate scandal?
23. Was it the $15 million for Chelsea’s apartment paid with foundation money?
24. Was it Chelsea’s multi million dollar wedding paid with foundation money?
25. Was it my husband’s interference with Loretta Lynch & the investigation?
26. Was it me happily accepting the stolen debate questions given to me?
27. Was it my own secret server in our house and disdain for classified information?
28. Was it my deleting 30,000 emails from an insecure computer server in my house?
29. Was it me having cell phones destroyed with hammers?
30. Was it the Seth Rich murder?
31. Was it the Vince Foster murder?
32. Was it the Gennifer Flowers assault & settlement?
33. Was it the $800,000 Paula Jones settlement?
34. Was it calling half the United States deplorable?
35. Was it the underhanded treatment of Bernie Sanders?
36. Was it Bill’s impeachment?
37. Was it the lie about being under sniper fire in Bosnia?
38. Was it the lie about all of your grandparents being immigrants?
39. Was it the $10 million I got for the pardon of Marc Rich?
40. Was it the $6 BILLION I “lost” when in charge of the State Dept.?
41. Was it because I am a hateful, lying, power-hungry, overly ambitious, greedy, nasty person? 

Hillary for once look inward to find out why you failed rather looking outward to blame everyone but the one true reason for your failure: you.

March, 2018, Part 3, Political Class Insanity: Slandering Half of America, Coverups, Greed, and More

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Let's get started:

1) Democrats in Washington and elsewhere like to claim they are the party of tolerance and peace. That they are the ones that supposedly despise hate and intolerance. But as you will see in the following video, a half dozen Democratic members of Congress recently met with and fawned over Louis Farrakhan, a black power advocate who is anything but tolerant and peaceful. In the past, he has called for a gathering of young black men to go and kill white people. He has raged against Jews like no other.

And yet, these Congressional members, supposedly members of the tolerance wing of the American political class, obviously enjoy being in his company despite the hate he has spewed over the years:

2) This following scandal has been around for a few years now but a recent article on the Western Journalism website did a nice job summarizing the scandal and how the Washington political class and members of the Federal bureaucracy are so corrupt. And in many instances criminally liable for their actions when it comes to helping and protecting each other to maintain their cozy and enriching relationships at the expense of the rule of law, our freedoms, and integrity of such institutions as the FBI:

• A little background first: Andrew McCabe was the FBI Deputy Director who was responsible for investigating Hillary Clinton and her related criminal infractions including the use of an unsecured computer server.
• At the same time, his wife was running for the state senate in Virginia.
• During the time of his investigation, Clinton political allies donated $1.2 million to McCabe’s wife’s senate political campaign.
• This obvious conflict of interest and despicable act is now under investigation by the FBI inspector general.
• As the political campaign was underway, McCabe found out that classified government and Hillary Clinton emails had ended up on the unsecured laptop computer of Hillary’s top aide's husband, convicted sex fiend and former Congressman Anthony Weiner.
• But rather than announce the findings to Congress, McCabe sat on this information for about a month, with the obvious conclusion being that McCabe was trying to protect Hillary Clinton’s campaign from embarrassment and criminal proceedings until after the election as a return favor for Clinton’s friends’ donations to his wife’s campaign.
• That is the focus of the inspector general’s investigation.
• According to the article: “Andrew McCabe knew about the Abedin-Weiner emails as early as Sept. 28, 2016, when McCabe deputy Peter Strzok texted his FBI lover Lisa Page that he had been “called up to Andy’s office” and told of “hundreds of thousands of emails” turned over by Weiner’s attorney that included “a ton of material from spouse (i.e. Huma Abedin, Hillary’s top aide).”
• Over half a million dollars donated to the McCabe’s wife came from Fredrick Schaufeld who sat on Hillary’s National Finance Committee for the 2016 election.

Just another instance of those in Washington looking out for themselves even if it meant the corruption of the election processes at both the Virginia state level and the national level.

3) We have had a number of politicians that we would nominate for the worse people in Congress list:

• Congressman Hank Johnson thought that the island of Guam could actually tip over in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. 
• Former Congresswoman Corrine Brown was recently sentenced to prison for setting up a fake scholarship program for disadvantaged kids but ended up raiding the program’s funds for use by and on herself.
• Maxine Walters publicly wished that American citizens would die and go to hell for simply having a difference of opinion than hers.
• Sheila Jackson Lee has said any number of stupid things over time including wondering out loud if the Mars Rover expedition would be driving by the place where Neil Armstrong landed on the moon and claiming that North Vietnam and South Vietnam still both existed as separate entities with North Vietnam ruling over South Vietnam.
• And of course, the Congress people we spoke about above who were caught hanging out with famed black racist and anti-Semite, Louis Farrakhan.

But courtesy of the Liberty Planet website, we have four more candidates for worst Congressional representatives:

1. California Congressman Adam Schiff tried to legislatively go around the Supreme Court ruling on campaign finance reform, he fought to protect Hillary Clinton and her bungling of the whole Benghazi situation, he voted against funding the military budget, he voted against the Trump tax cuts, he voted against tougher oversight on Iran, and voted yes to keep secret FISA warrants in effect.
2. Texas Congressman Al Green has tried to get Trump impeached even though no impeachable offense has occurred, he voted against the Trump tax cuts, he voted against stronger Iran oversight, he voted against ending the DOJ slush fund for sexual predator settlements, and voted against deporting illegal immigrant gang members.
3. According to the article, Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline, “as the Mayor of Providence, Rhode Island, it was discovered that Cicilline supporters were taking out federal loans via the Providence Economic Development Partnership (PEDP). The taxpayer-backed loans were rarely, if ever, getting paid back and the money found its way into already wealthy Rhode Island business owners. Many of the recipients were ardent supporters of the former mayor and his bid for Congress. Although the PEDP had a high success rate before Cicilline took office, it suffered a staggering 60-percent default rate afterwards.”
4. And of course, no list of useless Washington politicians would be complete without Maxine Walters who represents a low income, high poverty district in California but who does not even live in the district she represents, who lives in a house worth almost $5 million while earning only $174,000 a year, and who has been called a “Poverty Pimp” by voters within her district.

Incompetence, greed, criminal cover-ups, sexist and racist comments, and the slandering of ordinary Americans, the personification of today’s American political class and political insanity. More insanity to follow.

November, 2017, Political Class Insanity, Part 8: A Delusional John Kerry, Weiner Goes To Jail and Congressional Arrogance

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

1) Often when a politician speaks it is hard to determine if they are that stupid or they think that we are that stupid. The latest episode in this philosophical question was reported by Victoria Taft, writing for the Independent Journal Review:

• President Trump is currently taking a Presidential trip throughout Southeast Asia.
• Not unsurprisingly, the topic of North Korea’s nuclear weapons effort has been a hot topic of the trip. 
• For some reason, past Secretary of State under the Obama administration, John Kerry thought he should comment on the North Korean nuclear weapons effort: “And I think the rhetoric to date has frankly stepped over the line with respect to the messages that are being sent. It's given North Korea a reason to say, 'Hey we need a bomb, because if we don't have a bomb, we're going to, you know, not be able to protect themselves and they'll come after us.'”

Seriously, because of Trump North Korea thinks it needs a nuclear weapons effort? Let’s review known history, Mr. Kerry:

• Kerry and Obama actually had a strategy for dealing with North Korea's nuclear effort, they caused it “strategic patience” and it was 1) in existence long before Trump became President and 2) it was a total failure.
• North Korea first tested a nuclear bomb in 2006 during the Bush administration, 11 years before Trump became President.
• North Korea carried out five nuclear weapons tests during the Obama administration and three while Kerry was Secretary of State.

So in Kerry’s world and reality the first six North Korean nuclear weapons tests do not matter, it is Trump’s rhetoric that caused North Korea to go after nuclear weapons, at least eleven years before Trump became President. I wonder what color the sky is in Kerry’s reality?

Or as the old saying goes: “It is better to remain silent and thought ignorant than to speak up and remove all doubt.” Some sound advice that we advice the former Secretary of State to take to heart.

2) One of the most disgusting displays of Congressional arrogance I have ever seen occurred during the Obama administration when California Congresswoman Maxine Waters said that tea party members, American citizens, should die and go to hell. Ms. Walters seems to forget that she and 500 of her peers serve in Congress to serve citizens and publicly wishing that many of those die and go to hell is the epitome of rudeness and insanity.

But apparently Walters is not the only politician that is discourteous, arrogant and impolite, as we learned from a recent article on the Life Site News website:

• Star Parker is the founder and President of the Center For Urban Renewal and Education (CURE.)
• She recently testified in front of a Congressional committee which was examining legislation banning abortions on babies with beating hearts.
• Parker testified: “In fact when you put the Dred Scott decision next to the Roe v Wade decision, they read almost verbatim. I’d like to also address something that was brought up earlier...when it comes to mixing the abortion issue with the challenges that we face in many of our hard-hit communities. I feel it disingenuous that the issues of Medicaid would come up, and other opportunities for us to re-address what has happened in...our most distressed zip codes. The way that Planned Parenthood targets these particular zip codes with abortion. Abortion is the leading cause of death in the black community today. Since roe v wade was legalized, 20 million humans have been killed inside of the womb of black women. And then on Halloween, Planned Parenthood tweets out that the black women are safest if they abort their child rather than bring it to term. To the gentleman from Texas who brought up Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, I think that is important that we put in record that the needs of those that are most vulnerable in society cannot be addressed with abortion. Abortion feeds a narrative that women are victims, that they have no control over their sexual impulses. And the result of this narrative being forced down into our hardest-hit communities – we are seeing now recklessness in sexual activity and marriage has collapsed. In the 50s, 70% of black adults were married. Today, that number is 30 percent. This is causing a lot more social pathologies that have to be addressed in different types of legislation, not the Heartbeat Bill. The Heartbeat Bill is to protect the innocent.”
• I included all of her words to give you an idea that she is a reasonable, obviously well educated and well spoken woman who seems to understand what are some of the root causes in the inner cities, especially issues that affect African Americans.
• But rather than accept her testimony with politeness and discretion, Congressman Steve Cohen let loose a broadside against this American citizen: “And to suggest I’m disingenuous shows your ignorance or your absolute inability to deal with Congresspeople the way they should. I believe in those issues and I think they’re proper, and to say I’m disingenuous is just wrong and I expect an apology.”
• Way to go Congressmen, invite a subject matter expert to testify, using up valuable time and resources and then call her ignorant in an open committee meeting, real classy.
• Fortunately at least one other member of Congress who was present had some class, Congressman Louie Gohmert immediately jumped in in defense of Ms. Parker: “I would ask for an apology from the gentleman from Tennessee (for) calling our witness ignorant when it seems to me she has a whole lot more knowledge and wisdom” than he does.
• Chairman Steve King then ended the hearing, citing the “lack of civility before this committee.”
• In an additional but of disrespect towards an American citizen, fellow Democrat Pramila Jayapal blamed the the way the meeting was conducted for Cohen’s outburst and unprofessional behavior, which is nonsense, if he had a problem with the way the meeting was being conducted he should of took it out on his peers on the committee not Ms. Parker.

Way to go Congress people, calling American citizens ignorant of hoping they die and go to hell. Who is it again who pays your salaries and let you live a very, very comfortable life? Insanity.

3) In other news about another classless act from a [former] member of Congress, Anthony Weiner was recently checked into a Federal penitentiary as a result of being found guilty of sexting a minor girl. Most people know that he has a long history of online deviant sexual behavior but did not cross the line into illegality until his sexting with a teenaged girl.

He will be behind bars for 21 - 27 months at the medium security prison that focuses on detaining prisoners with psychological issues. While there he will receive sex addiction therapy. Who is the ignorant one in this case, Mr. Cohen?

That will do it for today’s insanity: a delusional John Kerry, a classless member of Congress, and Federal prison garb for a former member of Congress. More insanity to follow.

November,2017, Part 3,Political Class Insanity: The Clintons Get Rich, Hillary Ignores Security Protocols, and Obama Builds His Temple

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Note: we realize that November, 2017 has not started yet but trust me, we have so much political class insanity to get to this month that we are going to start a few days early in order to get it all in:

1) It is been pretty clear for some time that the Clinton Foundation charity organization was simply a tool for the Clinton crime syndicate to use to enrich themselves. Typically, an entity or government would make its needs known to Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State, those needs would be met after that entity or country donated to the Clinton Foundation and usually allowed Bill Clinton to give a speech for them for which he usually received hundreds of thousands of dollars. Pretty neat shakedown operation.

Now some people have claimed that the Clintons enriching themselves, while seeedy and greedy, could be overlooked because their charity and foundation did such great humanitarian deeds around the world. Nice try, but no cigar, according to Peter Hasson writing for the Daily Caller website on September 16, 2017:

• According to IRS tax filings, the Clinton Foundation spent just under $91.3 million in 2014 according to their tax returns that year.
• However, only 5.7% of that was actually spent helping out humanity since of the $91.3 million that they spent, only $5.2 million actually went to charitable grants.
• The remaining 94.3% or $86.1 million was spent on employee salaries, employee benefits, and “other expenses.”
• “Other expenses” comprised over $50 million.
• A whopping $851,000 was spent on “professional fundraising expenses.”
• According to the article, “Despite taking in an additional $30 million in 2014, the Clinton Foundation spent 40 percent less on charitable grants in 2014 than in 2013. Even as it slashed charitable spending, the foundation increased the amount spent on salaries, employee benefits and compensation by $5 million in 2014. The foundation also spent $5 million more “other expenses” in 2014.”
• In addition, the work that the foundation was originally famous for, distributing drugs to poor people in poor countries is no longer done, according to Sean Davis at The Federalist, “the bulk of the charitable work lauded by the Clinton Foundation’s boosters — the distribution of drugs to impoverished people in developing countries — is no longer even performed by the Clinton Foundation. Those activities were spun off in 2010and are now managed by the Clinton Health Access Initiative, a completely separate non-profit organization.”

How does the Clinton Foundation’s use of donations compare to other charities? According to the Charity Navigator website, an organization that tracks and evaluates charities, the Clinton Foundation’s numbers are pathetic: “Our data shows that 7 out of 10 charities we've evaluated spend at least 75% of their budget on the programs and services they exist to provide. And 9 out of 10 spend at least 65%. We believe that those spending less than a third of their budget on program expenses are simply not living up to their missions. Charities demonstrating such gross inefficiency receive 0 points and a 0-star rating for their Financial Health.” 

Since the Clinton Foundation only spends about 6% on good deeds, they would fall into the “simply not living up to their mission” category. So sad and insane that people like the Clintons could get so personally rich by leveraging their time in public service and political office, in this case using the cover story of a charity to make themselves rich beyond most people’s dreams.

2) I thought it was obscene when George W. Bush spent half a billion dollars to build his Presidential library. No one deserves that kind of tribute, especially a President whose tenure was nondescript at best. But according to a new report, Bush’s library expenditure looks absolutely miserly, according to a recent report on the American Outlook website:

• Barack Obama’s Presidential library will likely need a $1.5 BILLION endowment to keep it operating.
• That is the estimate the Obama architectural team of Tod Williams and Billie Tsien came up with to satisfy Obama’s desires.
• The article confirmed that the Obama Presidential library effort will indeed cost three times more than what used to be Bush’s obscene cost.
• The Obama effort will contain not only a Presidential library but also a second building that will serve as a museum dedicated to the lives of Barack and Michelle Obama.

Seriously, $1.5 billion to pay tribute to a President who:

• Almost doubled the national debt by adding a whopping $10 trillion to the debt burden of every American?
• Weaponized the IRS to deny First Amendment rights to millions of Americans?
• Illegally and immorally entered the Libyan civil war without Constitutional or legal standing, resulting in the destruction of a foreign country and turning it into a terrorist haven?
• Spend over $800 billion on an economic stimulus program that failed miserably on every measure except the reality that his political cronies and supporters got rich off of taxpayer funding?
• Put together the worst piece of legislation ever passed by Washington, Obama Care, and then lied about so many aspects of the law in front of every American?
• Lied about the real story of Benghazi, blaming the disaster and deaths of our Americans on an unknown video?

We could on and on about the failure of his Presidency but let’s stop here since just these few failures listed above prove that he does not deserve a $1.5 million tribute to his failures. Fortunately, I will not be paying for it.

3) As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton and her staff had the national security requirement to ensure that government communications stayed secret and held close to the vest in order to protect the interests, lives, and borders of the United States. There are laws and government regulations in place to help facilitate that need for secrecy and security.

Of course, we now know that Hillary Clinton and her staff treated those laws and regulations as mere suggestions, allowing top secret documents and plans to feed through and unsecured computer server in her house, a server that was likely hacked by more than one country around the world. As of yet, she and her abusers of government documents and plans have not faced the penalties that they should face.

To show you how careless they were with our country’s secrets, consider the highlights from an October 20, 2017 article that appeared on the Self Reliance Central website:

• Judicial Watch recently announced that that the State Department has admitted that 2,800 State Department documents from the Hillary Clinton State Department days ended up on an unsecured personal computer of former Congressman Anthony Weiner.
• Weiner used to be married to Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin.
• Remember also that Weiner recently pleaded guilty to sexting with an underaged girl.
• Abedin used a non-secure and non-State Department email account for government business, routing it through Clinton's unsecured home email server.
• This information came to light after Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the State Department when the Department refused to comply with a 2015 Freedom Of Information Act request which sought, “All emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-‘state.gov’ email address.”
• Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch president summed up the transgressions: “This is a disturbing development. Our experience with Abedin’s emails suggest these Weiner laptop documents will include classified and other sensitive materials. When will the Justice Department do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law?”
• The article reminds us that Clinton attempted to delete 33,000 emails that were on her non-government server and that the State Department is still processing 100,000 emails Clinton failed to disclose when she was asked for them.

So, the Federal government, via the Clinton State Department, allowed almost 3,000 government documents to end up on the unsecured laptop of an admitted child sexual predator. And sher wanted to be President, ha!

November, 2017, Part 1, Political Class Insanity: The IRS Apologizes, Politicians' Perversion, and Economic Ignorance Still Exists

It is the beginning of another month which means it is again time to review the latest political class insanity from Washington and around the world. Political class insanity takes many forms including the wasting of taxpayer wealth, criminal fraud within government programs, inane and stupid political quotes and actions, the inability to create and implement effective and efficient government programs, stupid and ill performing economic policies and strategies, and other forms of insanity that continue to evolve and surprise and shock us.

Note: we realize that November, 2017 has not started yet but trust me, we have so much political class insanity to get to this month that we are going to start a few days early in order to get it all in:

1) Several years ago it became clear that Obama had weaponized the IRS. This led the IRS to start a scorched earth campaign to make sure that non-liberal and non-Democratic Party groups and organizations would be denied a non-profit status from the IRS. This crippled hundreds of organizations from exercising their First Amendment rights of free speech and quite possibly helped Obama get elected to a second term.

Obama, of course, denied any of this was happening, claiming that rogue agents in one IRS office had done some bad deeds. He made this announcement before any investigation had been done, hoping to kill the scandal in its early stages. Eventually Congressional hearings were held but nothing was done since the 2012 election had come and gone and Obama had been reelected, quite possibly because of his weaponizing of the iRS to harass and impede Conservatives and Republicans.

Of course, Democrats claimed nothing nefarious had happened. But according to a recent article on the Daily Caller website by Jack Crowe on October 26, 2017, it looks like quite a lot of First Amendment trashing did actually occur:

• The Federal government recently settled two class action lawsuits that had been filed by Tea Party organizations that alleged that Obama’s Justice Department discriminated against them solely because of their contrary political views.
• Over 400 organizations reached an undisclosed monetary settlement.
• They got this settlement because, as Attorney Jeff Session said that these organizations had their tax exempt status rulings delayed or denied “based solely on their viewpoint or ideology” and that “The [Internal Revenue Service]’s use of these criteria [holding a contrary political view] as a basis for heightened scrutiny was wrong and should never have occurred...It is improper for the IRS to single out groups for different treatment based on their names or ideological positions.”
• In court filings the IRS apologized: “The IRS admits that its treatment of Plaintiffs during the tax-exempt determination process, including screening their applications based on their names or policy positions, subjecting those applications to heightened scrutiny and inordinate delays, and demanding some Plaintiffs’ information that TITA determined was unnecessary to the agency’s determination of their tax-exempt status, was wrong. For such treatment, the IRS expresses its sincere apology.”

So, not only did Obama help himself in his 2012 election campaign by wiping out the voices of at least 400 organizations that did not support his reelection, misusing and abusing Federal government resources in the process, his antics also cost the American taxpayer and undisclosed amount of money used to pay this settlement. And nobody went to jail for this obviously illegal and unethical use of government power to suppress First Amendment rights of Americans. Insanity.

2) First, we had a Democratic President in John Kennedy who was an adulterer before and during the time he was President. Then along came Democrat Bill Clinton who was a likely sexual predator before, during, and after his time as President. This was followed by Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner who could not stop himself from sexting with a variety of women even though he was married and his wife was pregnant, eventually being found guilty of sexting to a minor. And most recently, we have movie mogul Harvey E Weinstein, a heavy, heavy supporter of Democrats across the country including Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama now under fire for allegedly sexually harassing many, many young hollywood actresses over the years.

But deviant sexual behavior is not limited to national well known Democratic politicians and supporters. On October 11, 2017, police raided the home of Phillip Ahr who was a member of the Radnor, Pennsylvania Township Board of Commissioners. His alleged crime was child pornorgraphy. The police found hundreds of images and videos of child pornography. According to the news reports of the arrest, the material collected was disgusting in its abuse of kids as young as three to five years old.

It is so sadly insane that so many in the current American political class are useless, inane, inept, and distressingly and morally corrupt, from the White House to Hollywood to a small town in Pennsylvania.

3) We have often discussed the economic idiocy of the political class, especially as it applies to the minimum wage issue in the country. Many politicians have been obsessed with the nonsense concept of a “living wage” and in several areas across the country have raised the minimum wage level to $15 an hour in a futile attempt to get low end jobholders a “livable wage.”

However, ignoring economic sensibilities, the result of jacking up the minimum wage almost always results in businesses going out of business and many people losing their job, giving them a wage level per hour of $0.00. No matter how many real life examples that occur which reinforce the need for the market to set prices/wages, politicians still insist that raising the minimum wage is always a good thing and always results in much more hardship than it saves.

The Independent Journal Review recently ran an article by Will Ricciardella that described an example of a pizzeria that went out of business because it tried to force a $15 minimum wage into a market that would not support it, much like what happens when politicians mandate an unrealistic minimum wage:

• Dudley Dough was a Boston pizza parlor that was dedicated to providing its employees a “fair wage” environment to work in, i.e. it raised its minimum wages to “above marketplace” wages without a politician mandate.
• However, Dudley Dough had to go out of business because its high wages did not enable it to stay profitable, according to reporting by the Boston Globe.
• Bing Broderick, executive director for the nonprofit Haley House, which oversaw the parlor’s operations stated: “The challenge for Dudley Dough was to support itself. While popular, the shop is not breaking even financially.” 
• This was a marketplace issue since three other restaurants opened for business at the same time that Dudley Dough opened and they are still operating.
• So instead of getting marketplace determined wages, the Dudley Dough employees will be getting no wages.
• Making the failure of Dudley Dough even more dramatic is that it could not stay profitable even though Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, gave the pizza parlor a $100,000 donation, a head start every other successful restaurant did not get yet they are still in business.

But I would bet that politicians will learn nothing from this basic economic lesson: the marketplace always wins. When politicians or others try to force the marketplace to bend to their prejudices, it never works out for the people that those politicians are supposed to be helping, the workers who lose their jobs because of politicians’ economic ignorance.

More insanity to follow. It is going to be a wild ride of insanity this month, guaranteed.
