May, 2022, Political Class Insanity, Part 6: Taxpayer Wealth For Urine, Record American Deaths Due To Fentanyl Overdoses, And Baby Formula For Illegal Immigrants But Not For American Families

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

To review past posts on this insanity and idiocy, just click on the first few posts in each month listed to the right of this page. After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) At any one time in this country there are about 500,000 - 600,000 homeless Americans around the country. In a country as wealthy as this country we should not have this many homeless and hungry Americans living on the streets.

Keep that reality in mind when we discuss the following government project and expenditure:
  • The National Science Foundation of the Federal government gave $3 million of taxpayer money to the University of Michigan to develop a urine based fertilizer.
  • Yes, $3 million to experiment with urine as fertilizer.
  • They have been experimenting with putting their urine concoction on peony flowers in the school’s Nichols Arboretum.
  • Those involved with the research crassly refer to their work as “pee on the peonies.”
What a waste of taxpayer wealth, especially since there are so many suffering Americans that certainly could make better use of that $3 million. Plus, even if this nonsense had some merit as fertilizer, how would the process be scaled up to be relevant to the world? Would we all have to urinate in cups and then send those cups to a factory to have it converted to fertilizer? Would we have to have a different toilet in our house just for urinating so that when that toilet is flushed it would go directly to the fertilizer factory? How much would that cost to put in separate pipes for urine collection across the country

Just another example of bad priorities and stupid research using taxpayer wealth.

2) Shortly after Biden became President, he opened up the southern border to just about anyone who wanted to get into this country, making it easy for anyone to walk across our southern border. Those coming across included not only the poor of the world looking for a better life but hard core criminal and drug cartel gangs intent on getting rich with the distribution of illegal drugs in this country.

Thus, it is not surprise we are now faced with the following crisis that followed Biden’s dropping of our border defenses:
  • The CDC has released data that estimates that Americans dying from drug overdoses rose significantly in 2021.
  • Their estimate: 107,000 Americans died from drug overdoses in 2021, an all time record.
  • This surge in drug overdoses corresponds with a surge in illegal immigration: “In FY 2021, CBP recorded a total of 1.72 million enforcement encounters, including 146,054 encounters of unaccompanied children, 478,492 encounters of individuals in family units, and 1,098,500 encounters of single adults,” the border patrol agency said.
  • In just the first three months of 2022, border agents confiscated 62 TONS of illegal drugs coming over the border..
  • That is what they intercepted, imagine how many tons of illegal drugs that they did not find.
  • Much of the tonnage that has been intercepted contains fentanyl, a chemical that has been a significant contributor to the record number of drug overdose deaths.
  • “There is absolutely a connection between drug trafficking and the surge in illegal immigration at the southern border,” said Preston Huennekens, government relations manager at the Federation for American Immigration Reform. “Cartels control both drug trafficking and human smuggling at the border – and profit from it enormously. The cartels send massive groups of migrants across the border, who are then apprehended and processed by Border Patrol. While BP is dealing with all of this, the cartels will then send over their drug operations – free from any interference because [border patrol] is too busy processing the migrants who came before. There is no question that these phenomena are connected and deeply intertwined,” he added. “The cartels control both drug flows and the flow of people – it’s that simple.”
  • The leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45 is now fentanyl, most of which is coming across our southern border.
As we have discussed many times, a very, very basic function of government is to protect the lives and property of those being governed. With the collapse of security on the southern border and the resultant massive increase in drug overdose deaths, the Federal government and Biden administration are failing miserably in failing to execute this basic government function.

3) So, our first two discussion points today concerned the fact that Washington politicians do not really care about American citizens. Rather than feed the hungry or shelter the homeless in this country they would rather spend $3 million on urine fertilizer for flowers. Rather than secure the southern border, they have allowed the number of Americans dying from drug overdoses because of the non-secure southern border to sky rocket.

Which brings us to the baby formula disaster currently underway in this country:
  • For whatever reason, there is a dire shortage of baby formula on the grocery shelves in this country.
  • This shortage is endangering the lives of American babies across the country.
  • One would hope that the government and politicians would be working hard to get relief to American families with very young kids to protect their health.
  • But according to Congresswoman Kat Cammack that is not the case since she is claiming that the Biden administration is sending vast quantities of baby formula to the border to service illegal immigrant families while American families cannot find much, if any, baby formula for them to get their hands on.
  • Specifically: “Empty shelves in America but full shelves at the border. Biden is sending pallets of baby formula to the border. This is what America last looks like,” Republican Rep. Kat Cammack wrote on Facebook. “They are sending pallets — pallets — of baby formula to the border. Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula.”
  • The Congresswoman was sent a picture from a border patrol agent who told her that the amount of baby formula being accumulated for illegal immigrants was “disgusting.”
  • She went on to state: “This is what ‘America last’ looks like. This is 100 percent what it looks like. They’re sending pallets — pallets of baby formula — to the border. And if that doesn’t infuriate you, I don’t know what will.”
  • Furthermore: “I don’t know about you, but if I am a mother, anywhere, anytime in America, and I go to my local Walmart or Target or Publix or Safeway or Kroger or wherever it may be that you shop, and you are seeing their shelves and you are seeing signs that you are not able to get baby formula, and then you see the American government sending by the pallet thousands and thousands of containers of baby formula to the border — that would make my blood boil. It is not the children’s fault at all. But what is infuriating to me is that this is another example of the ‘America last’ agenda that the Biden administration continues to perpetuate.”
So, the disastrous Biden policy on the southern border is killing Americans due to the massive amount of cheap, illegal drugs coming over our porous border and endangering American kids by shipping scarce baby formula not to American supermarkets to serve American families but to the southern border to serve illegals. Horrible and fatal political class priorities.

A footnote on the baby formula crisis: when Biden Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, was questioned about the crisis, she coldly said that any American mother who cannot get baby formula for their infant should call their doctor, She then immediately moved on to the next question, showing no empathy or feeling of sadness for those in need of formula. 

She is either that cold-hearted or so ignorant to think that someone’s doctor would magically be able to produce baby formula when stores everywhere are out of it. Disgusting.

February, 2022, Part 3, Political Class Insanity: Five Year Old Girls Wandering Along The Border, A Stupid Drug Addiction Concept, and Trudeau Goes All Dictator On His Country

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) News reports were rampant this past week that the Biden administration was going to spend $30 million of taxpayer money to hand out free crack cocaine pipes to drug addicts around the country. Not surprisingly, the response to such idiocy was widespread and appallng for any number of reasons:
  • This type of nonsense enables drug addiction, it does not help to cure drug addiction.
  • This type of nonsense has been used multiple times across the country with other government entities and it always made the drug addiction worse, not better.
  • There are far better uses of $30 million including feeding the homeless and treating drug addiction, not enabling it.
Well, Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary tried to calm things down but actually made the uproar and opposition worse:
  • Despite just about every news outlet claiming that crack pipes were being bought for drug addicts across the country, Psaki claimed that this was not true.
  • Specifically: “[the kits] may contain alcohol swabs, lip balm, other materials to promote hygiene and reduce the transmission of diseases like HIV and hepatitis. I would note that what we’re really talking about here is steps we’re taking as a federal government to address the opioid epidemic, which is killing tens of thousands, if not more, Americans every single day, week, month of the year. There was inaccurate information out there,” Psaki continued on the subject of the Washington Free Beacon story. “This policy is focused on harm reduction strategies, including prioritizing the use of fentanyl test strips and clean syringes.”
  • Ah, there it is, not crack pipes, syringes for drug addicts to shoot up their drugs.
  • Obviously, this is just as bad, if not worse.
  • Cities that have tried giving out free syringes, addicts still kept shooting up drugs and then left dirty needles all over the city streets, endangering the lives of adults, kids, and animals that would be walking down those streets.
  • It did not cure addiction, it enabled more addiction and endangered others.
Psaki went on to claim these kits will save lives and reduce drug addiction deaths. Her logic defies logic: by enabling more drug addiction we will save lives. These programs have not worked elsewhere, what makes anyone think that the Federal government, which screws up everything it touches, will do any better?

And it is quite ironic that the Biden administration is now so worried about opioid deaths since their open border, failed immigration policies have resulted in a massive increase in illegal drugs coming across the border. Somehow he thinks that giving away lip balm is a better solution than locking down the border and making the drug cartels work much harder to get their poison into the country. Insanity.

2) As most people know, Canadian truckers have engaged in a nationwide protest against the ridiculous Canadian covid mandates that have endangered freedom, and economic vitality in Canada. Note that these are Canadian truckers protesting in Canada against the Canadian government administration of boy king, Justin Trudeau. And yet, Trudeau recently blames Americans for the Canadian protest:
  • He implied that Americans were funding the “Freedom Convoy” that have been protesting across Canada for the past few weeks.
  • Specifically: “This morning, I had a direct call with President Biden to talk about our shared challenges at the border. I updated him on the situation, particularly. We discussed the American, and indeed global influences on the protest. We talked about the U.S.-based flooding of the 911 phone lines in Ottawa, the presence of U.S. citizens in the blockades, and the impact of foreign money to fund this illegal activity.”
  • Of course, he provided no information or proof that outsiders, non-Canadians, were behind the protest.Trudeau has performed very poorly in this crisis. It is obvious that this is a national Canadian movement.
Rather than talk to the truckers and those protesting, Trudeau demeans them, blames mysterious and unknown non-Canadian interests, and promises violence to break up the protests rather than be a leader and look for a suitable middle ground.

Joel Lightbound, a member of the Canadian parliament, summed this failure up quite nicely: “I think it’s time to stop dividing Canadians, to stop pitting one part of the population against another. I can’t help but notice with regret that both tone and the policies of my government changed drastically on the eve and during the last election campaign. Time to stop with the division and the distractions. It’s time to choose positive, not coercive methods. It’s time to unite. Finally, why am I alone voicing these concerns publicly today? I can tell you that I’m not the only one who feels varying degrees as I do within our ranks. I remain hopeful this call for more humanism, for more reason, for more hope will be heard.”

Finally, a voice of reason who is actually a politician. But Trudeau, in typical politician manner, blames everyone else for his failure and has shown that he has zero diplomatic and leadership skills. Just another useless, long term politician.

3) As we referenced above, Biden's stupidity and failure in controlling the border has resulted in a massive increase in illegal drugs coming into this country. It will obviously result in more American drug addiction and more drug addiction deaths.

But it is not just a drug addiction that's manifesting itself on the Biden border fiasco:
  • Border Patrol agents recently came across two five year old girls coming over the border without any adult accompaniment.
  • Let me say that again: two five year old girls came into this country by themselves.
  • They were just two of more than 160 unaccompanied children that were apprehended coming over the border.
  • These 160 were a subset of 2,280 kids that came over the border in the fourth quarter of 2021.
  • One of the five year olds was found wandering alone on February 7.
  • The other five year old was found on February 9 along with three unaccompanied teenagers.
  • According to a Border Agent: “Border Patrol agents keep finding small children abandoned at the edge of the Rio Grande river, and we’re grateful that these two are safe. But there have been other children who were not so lucky. For years, agents have found children in the river after drowning while trying to cross, and it has to stop. Unfortunately, the policies of this administration are only encouraging parents to send their children on the dangerous trek across the border. Until the White House and Congress figure out how to stem the flow across the border and create an orderly process for those seeking asylum, current policies are only going to lead to more children tragically drowning.”
Thus, the failed immigration policies of Biden are not only endangering American lives with cheap and plentiful dangerous drugs, but these policies are resulting in not only five year olds wandering along the border but probably resulting in unnecessary and tragic deaths of those that don't get rescued by Border Patrol agents.

That will do it for today’s insanity: five year old girls wandering along the border by themselves, Trudeau calls all dictator on his citizens, and Biden wastes $30 million on an absolutely stupid and fatal idea.

July, 2021, Part 4, Political Class Insanity: Biden Lies, Psaki Lies, and Ocasio-Cortez Denies Reality

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) In the last few posts we have touched on the reality that violent crime in Democratically controlled cities has been skyrocketing over the past year or so:
  • Chicago just experienced a 4th of July weekend that was the most violent weekend of the year with over 90 citizens shot and 16 of them dying from their wounds.
  • Over 2,000 people have already been shot in Chicago this year.
  • Murders are up 89% year over year in Minneapolis, the center of the idiotic defund the police movement.
  • Violent crime is up 58% in NYC.
I could go on and on about how official law enforcement statistics show a tremendous upswing in violent crime across the Democratically controlled big cities but you get the idea. No rational, sane, person can look at the crime numbers and not say crime is up wildly in those cities.

Which brings us to the latest insanity and idiocy of Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez:
  • We used to do a lot of posts around her ignorance when it came to simple concepts like the basic definition of unemployment, what are the three branches of government, the difference between a tax break and a tax reduction, and a myriad of other easy to understand ideas that somehow always eluded her grasp.
  • But after a while it got tedious and a waste of time chronicling her ignorance, she was out of touch with reality and it was not worth the effort.
  • But she’s back with her latest assertion that stretches the bounds of belief, is she really that out of touch or does she think we will believe any nonsense she says?
  • Despite all of the skyrocketing crime statistics, despite all of the people moving out of Democratically controlled cities to get away from the crime, despite even the mayor of Chicago calling for Federal government help to control the out of control crime wave in that city, Ocasio-Cortez thinks it is all a myth, fiction, not reality.
  • According to her, it is the media that is creating “this idea” that violent crime is surging upwards in order to create hysteria.
  • She went on to say that the crime statistics are lacking “context” whatever that means.
  • I would bet that the 2,000 people who have been shot just in Chicago could care less what the context is, they have been shot.
  • Of course, if people believe that their lives and families are more endangered than the movement to defund the police, a pet project of hers goes out the window.
  • She would rather save a stupid, failed idea than protect the safety of the citizens in her Congressional district.
You can see why we no longer spend a lot of time with her, she is so out of touch with reality that it is not worth the time. When one is so disconnected from the reality of the numbers then any idea she has is not based in fact and reality and thus, is useless.

2) Speaking of being out of touch with reality, or lying through their teeth because she thinks we are that stupid, consider the latest insanity from Biden press secretary Jen Psaki:
  • The cities that have defunded their police department at various levels include Portland, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York City, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
  • All of those cities have long been under the dominant control of the Democratic Party.
  • But according to Jen Psaki, it was Republicans who led the charge to defund the police departments across these cities.
  • Her convoluted logic went like this: since Republicans helped defeat Biden’s “America Rescue Plan” which may have, may have, had a tiny sliver of funding for more police, it was the Republicans’ fault that the defund the police movement in Democratically controlled cities is a failure and resulting in higher and higher urban crime.
According to Peter Doocy of Fox News in his questioning of Psaki, no Republican in Congress said they voted against this legislation because they wanted to defund the police, but Psaki continued the lie that Republicans were the bad guys in the whole defund the police fiasco. Again, the proverbial question: do political people like Psaki actually believe the tripe and outright lies they put forth or does she think we are that stupid and believe her lies?

3) We have previously talked about how Biden, over the decades, was a sexual predator, racist, and pathological liar. The biggest compilation of those realities was in the following post:


And even while now President, where every word he says is quoted, analyzed, and fact checked, he still cannot get away from the big lie:
  • A quick summary: Biden has lied by plagiarizing the works of others, he lied about his educational background, he lied about his marching for civil rights, he lied about getting arrested in South Africa with Nelson Mandela, he lied about his college scholarship, he lied about what college he went to, and on and on and on.
  • He recently hosted the LA Dodgers, current World Series champs, at the White House.
  • At that time, he told the world and the Dodgers that he had once hit a 368 foot home run off the right field wall during a Congressional baseball game long ago.
  • He even brought his family into the story, claiming his “kids remember that.”
  • However, research from newspaper accounts at the time found that he did not hit a 368 foot home run, he did not hit any home run, he did not even get a hit, he was 0 for 2 with a strikeout and a ground out.
  • When Politico called out this lie, the White House refused to comment, probably hoping that the latest gaffe/lie by Biden would just go away.
He lies so much about so many things it is hard to believe anything he says on any topic, be it related to issues facing the country or his glorious but fictitious background on a whole slew of topics.

So, what did we learn today: Biden lies about everything including a fictional baseball exploit, Psaki lies about defunding the police, and Ocasio-Cortez is still totally out of touch with reality or she lies about the current crime wave also. Integrity and Washington are apparently two independent concepts.

July, 2021, Part 3, Political Class Insanity: Biden’s Impersonation of the Gestapo, Chicago Streets are Still Shooting Galleries, Biden Continues to Dive Downwards in Approval Polls, and Another Potentially Corrupt Politician.

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) One would hope that the elected leaders of the country would be fine, upstanding citizens and that they would be above corruption and petty greed. However, as we have pointed out in hundreds of previous posts, that could not be further from the truth relative to the current members of the American political class. From the city corruption in local cities like Chicago to national corruption like the Clintons money laundering operation via the Clinton Foundation, it seems that the American political class does not draw the highest quality people to political positions.

Consider just another in a long list of indicted public officials:
  • Congressional candidate Abhijit Das was recently indicted on charges of accepting excessive campaign contributions, conduit contributions, conversion of campaign funds, engaging in a scheme to falsify, conceal, and cover up material facts, and making a false statement.
  • He is accused of raising $125,000 from people close to him and then using the money for business and personal purposes.
Obviously he is assumed innocent until proven guilty. But given the American political class history of corruption, it would surprise no one if this Congressional candidate deserved to be arrested.

2) Biden has been office about six months and during that time:
  • Inflation has skyrocketed with all kinds of prices going higher and higher.
  • There is a humanitarian, drug cartel, human trafficking, and child neglect crisis on the border.
  • Russia, China, and Iran are taking advantage of Biden’s weakness and declining mental state to aggressively go after their global goals.
  • Violent crime has jumped up in many Democratically controlled cities across the country.
And apparently American have noticed that they have a weak old man for President who has been cognitive decline for years:
  • A Washington Post poll found that only a third of those polled approve of how Biden is handling the immigration crisis on the border while a majority, 51%, disapprove of his performance.
  • More telling, only 63% of Democrats approve of his handling of the crisis.
  • Only 38% approve of his handling of the rising violent crime in the country with 49% disapproving his handling of the crisis.
  • These results should not be a surprise since under Biden, illegal immigration crossings is up a whopping 700% year over year.
  • According to Breitbart, murders in Atlanta are up 58% year over year, they are up 533% in Portland, and 37% in Philadelphia.
  • Shootings are up 54% in NYC, 51% in LA, and 18% in Chicago.
Things have gone south very quickly in Biden’s first half year and the really scary thing is that he does not seem to have a clue, a plan, or even an understanding of how bad things are going in this country.

3) Far too many times we have reviewed the violence, death, and carnage that has been going on in Chicago for years. Every week for what seems forever, dozens are shot every week on the streets of the city and some of those shot die. Since a very, very basic function of any government entity is to protect the lives of the citizens it serves, the political class in Chicago has been an abysmal failure in that basic function.

The recent July 4th weekend was no exception:
  • 92 Chicago citizens were shot over the July 4th weekend.
  • 16 of those shot died from their wounds.
  •  of those shot were kids.
  • It was the deadliest weekend in Chicago in 2021 and that is saying a lot, given how crime and violence has risen significantly throughout the year.
  • According to the Chicago Sun Times, the number of shootings and deaths the July 4th weekend were highs for the year.
  • So far this year, there have been over 2,000 shootings in the city.
There is no doubt that the mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot, and the rest of those in the city’s political class, have failed miserably in protecting the lives and safety of city residents. But as always, Lightfoot continues to avoid taking responsibility for the carnage:
  • She has blamed lax gun laws elsewhere in the country even though Chicago has some of the strongest gun control laws in the country.
  • She has blamed Trump even though Trump offered more than once while in office to send Federal law enforcement help to try and curtail the violence but Chicago politicians refused help.
  • She has blamed local media outlets because, in her opinion, they have too many white skinned reporters and they don't give her enough credit for her mythical accomplishments.
  • And in a show of total ignorance or outright lying, she recently had the nerve to claim that the violence situation in Chciago was abating, something that is easily proven false by the above numbers.
Thus, the death toll gets worse and worse and the local politicians, starting with the mayor, appear to have no plan to make the city safer except to blame everyone else for their failure.

4) The very foundation of America is freedom. Unfortunately, over time, the political class has slowly eroded our freedoms as the political class has made the government larger and larger. And every time the government gets larger, our freedom gets smaller.

The last frontier of freedom is our homes, a factor in our lives that the Constitution protects from unreasonable searches. We have all seen the old Gestapo movies where government officials ask “papers, papers please” as they try to find those that oppose overt government control.

Well that scenario may soon come our doorsteps:
  • According to Jen Psaki, Biden is working on a five point plan to encourage, or force, Americans to get their covid vaccination.
  • One of those points is to have government employees go door to door around America asking for “papers, covid papers please.”
  • Specifically: “The president will outline five areas his team is focused on to get more Americans vaccinated. One, targeted community, by door-to-door outreach to get remaining Americans vaccinated by ensuring they have the information they need on how safe and accessible the vaccine is.”
  • It was unclear what actions these government agents would take if Americans refused to take their advice and get vaccinated.
This is a serious breach of freedom, tracking people down in their homes who made the personal decision to not get vaccinated. Next winter will Biden do the same thing for flu shots? No one needs government agents knocking on their front door, that is another step towards freedom suppression.

The Failing Biden Presidency - Part 10

This is the tenth in a series of posts that document the idiocy and total failure of the Biden Presidency so far. After being in the Oval Office for a few months, the world is in much worse shape both domestically and internationally due to the failed and idiotic leadership and actions of Joe Biden. His approval ratings are sinking faster than the increase in violence and price inflation that he has caused to happen. Today’s discussion does not provide any hope that things will improve under his leadership anytime soon.

Note: We keep trying to move on from Biden's almost daily screw ups and sad cognitive state but the idiocy, the sadness, and dangerous behaviors that he and his handlers go through every day make that task of moving on very difficult. That is why we are on the tenth installment chronicling the failure of the Biden Presidency.

1) In a recent post we discussed the reality that Biden’s approval numbers are cratering access to the country. Higher and higher inflation, a humanitarian disaster at the border, an embarrassing showing on the world stage at the G7 conference, the list of Biden failures is becoming epic. A recent poll found that his popularity is fading especially fast in Iowa:
  • The latest poll from the Des Moines Register found that Biden's approval ratings continue to fall in the state.
  • The latest iteration of the poll found that 43% approve of Biden’s job performance while a majority, 52%, already disapprove of his performance just five short months into his term.
  • In March, two short months ago, Biden actually had a higher approval rating, 47%, than a disapproval rating, 44%, in the state.
  • Apparently, his failure on the economy/inflation and immigration are the main causes for his disappearing approval ratings.
  • Only 40% approve of his handling of the economy while 56% disapprove of his behavior.
  • But it gets worse on the immigration disaster at the border with only 29% approving his handling of immigration and a whopping 63% disapproving.
Five months in and things are going south real quick.

2) It has been pretty clear for a while that Joe Biden is in the middle of a pretty steep cognitive decline. As a result, his staff gets up tight every time he goes off of the very strict, detailed process that want him to go through in public because he usually says something stupid.

And at the recent G7 Conference he did just that at the beginning of a press conference. He actually admitted that he had a list of pre-selected reporters that he would only call on, leaving the impression that these “special”/ pre-selected reporters had been screened and prepped by his staff and would not ask him any difficult or controversial questions.

Specifically, he stated: “I’ll take your questions and as usual, folks, they gave me a list of the people I’m going to call on.” How sad and pathetic is this? A President who isn't allowed to field questions from any valid member of the press. A mainstream media that kowtows to his staff and him and sets him up with softball questions as opposed to what real journalists are supposed to do, ask the hard questions that Americans deserve to get an answer to.

The Internet exploded at this abridgment of freedom and stonewalling:
  • John Cooper of the Heritage Foundation thought that one of the biggest tyrants in the world, Russia’sValdimir Putin had a better, more open session with reporters than the leader of the free world did: “It’s frankly embarrassing watching Vladimir Putin take questions from the press for 45 minutes, and then Biden comes out with a preset list of reporters he’s allowed to call on.”
  • Kyle Martinsen of the Republican National Committee: “Someone needs to ask Jen Psaki why they make Biden do this. Do they think he’s incapable of calling on reporters without a list?”
  • “Putin, the leader of a country with some of the greatest restrictions on press, took questions from all reporters,” observed Lesley Fulop Byers, the Communications Director of the House Homeland Security Committee Republican, “The leader of the free world only calls on a handful of reporters from a list his staff pre-approved. Yikes.”

3) In a very freaky show of cognitive decline, in a recent press gathering Biden abandoned his regular speaking voice and started answering questions in dramatic whispers. Seriously creepy. I am pretty old and I've never seen a President act so bizarrely in front of the press and the American people. Judge for yourself, I bet you cannot come off thinking, ``What is wrong with this fellow?”:


4) In that same press conference there was another example of cognitive decline. After it almost wrapped up, with Biden cutting it short to catch a helicopter ride, Kamala Harris had to remind Biden to go back to the podium and say something, anything about the tragedy unfolding in Miami where a condo building had collapsed and likely killed over 150 Americans while they slept.

This is major, international news and Biden completely slipped up in not at least offering support and condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the tragedy. It should have been in his opening remarks in the press conference, not something he haphazardly addresses as an afterthought. No, he had to be reminded to do so. So sad.

Even worse, after Harris reminded him to say something, anything, he returned to the podium with an awkward laugh and the phrase: “Oh yes, I apologize. Yes, thank you.” This is obviously not a laughing matter but somehow he found humor in it. Again, how sad.

The decline of Joe Biden the man and Joe Biden’s Presidency continues unabated despite the best efforts of his staff to make him look strong, intelligent and involved. I feel sorry for his staff since it looks like their efforts will always be a losing battle.

June, 2021, Political Class Insanity, Part 2: Biden's Approval In Free Fall, The White House Might Get A Cat, Violence In NYC and More

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) We have often talked about how we should expect our politicians and government workers to be honest, hardworking, and always looking out for the good of the taxpayer. That we would hope they would be of the highest character since we are paying their salaries to serve us.

But that is rarely the case as recently illustrated by a former high ranking city employee in San Francisco:
  • Mohammed Nuru was once the high ranking city employee and director of San Francisco’s public works entity.
  • It was his job to clean, maintain and organize repairs for the city government.
  • He was nicknamed “Mr. Clean” for his role in keeping the city clean.
  • But he was recently arrested for trying to rob a man at knife point.
  • Yes, a former city employee, who was probably pulling down over $100,000 a year in city salary, was arrested for robbery.
  • The altercation and arrest took place at a food bank where Nuru was a volunteer.
  • He apparently wanted to steal a bag of potato chips from another man at the food bank and pulled a knife to emphasize his desire for chips.
  • This incident comes on top of a previous criminal charge involving public corruption.

Nice guy, corruption and knife wielding, a fine upstanding public servant. Allegedly flashing a knife for a bag of potato chips no less.

2) It has also been a strong belief that for a democracy to endure, a free, aggressive, fair, and professional press is needed to inform voters and citizens of the critical issues of our times and to make sure politicians stay in line. Unfortunately, today in this country we do not have a fair, professional, aggressive,and unbiased press industry. Examples abound by the thousands of how the mainstream press is no longer professional, no longer journalistic, no longer the watchdog on the politicians and government we need to have a free, thriving democracy.

This was again illustrated at a recent White House briefing with White House Press secretary Jen Psaki:
  • Keep in mind that we have a criminal, drug cartel, and humanitarian crisis at the border.
  • Inflation is becoming a bigger and bigger concern in all of our lives.
  • The Middle East is simmering and flaring up in violent and fatal ways.
  • China is trying to take over the world.
  • Hackers from around the world are attacking every component of our lives.
  • There are a lot of ripe and juicy stories out there for American journalists to pursue and help resolve.
  • But all of these cases listed above took a backseat to discussion at that recent White House briefing.
  • The main issue the press was worried about that day was whether or not the Biden family was going to get a cat as a pet.
  • Yes, the potential for a First Cat.
  • Brittany Shepherd, of Yahoo News, asked this critical question of Jen Psaki, the rest of the crises in the world be damned: "Any update on the White House cat? Is that something that's still happening here? Our readers are asking us a lot."
  • Rather than point out to the Yahoo News reporter that the question was not critical relative to the rest of the world, Psaki actually wasted everyone’s time by actually answering the question: "I bet. I've been joking, although maybe it might be true, that we're waiting for a bad news day for that to come out. If you see a tail wagging coming out of the briefing room, you'll know something bad is about to happen. I don't have any update on the cat."
Seriously, who cares about a hypothetical cat when people are dying on the border, dying in the Middle East, dying from the virus??? This is what passes for journalism in this country today in a time of crises? This is what a White House press secretary wastes time on? So pathetic from a journalism professionalism perspective.

3) It has always been our contention that a very, very basic function of government is to protect the lives and property of its citizens. If the government did nothing else, as long as they did that well we would be ahead of the game.

But alas, many government entities around the country do not do that well at all despite being a basic government function. Many, many times we have talked about the carnage that grips Chicago everyday with the dozens of shootings and many, many murders every week. Over the past year, criminal activity and violence has spiked in many liberal, Democratic cities around the country as they “defund the police” and then watch crime skyrocket.

But Chicago is not alone:
  • According to the NYC Police Department, the same department that Mayor de Blasio stripped of over $1 billion in funding, the number of shootings in the city is up 86% year over year through May
  • Over the recent Memorial day weekend, 13 people were shot in NYC including a Bronx 15 year old boy who was killed in a shooting.
Again, a basic tenet of government is protecting citizens and a basic tenet of American politicians is that they fail miserably in their duty.

4) We have never been a big fan of just about any politician but are certainly a fan by any stretch of the imagination of Joe Biden. We have laid out a number of times of how much he is a sexual predator, a racist, and pathological liar, as outlined extensively in the following post:


More recently we ran a series of three posts where we already could document with numbers and reality that his Presidency was failing already, less than five months in:




And it now appears that the rest of the country is also picking up on our contention that he is a failure already:
  • A new Rasmussen poll found that a majority of American believe Joe Biden is the weakest President of modern times.
  • Only 32% of poll respondents think Biden is a strong President compared to others.
  • 43% “believe Biden is a weaker commander in chief than most recent presidents.”
  • 51% of Democrats believe Biden is a strong President, 12% of Republicans think he is a strong President, and 25% of independents think he is a strong President.
  • Although a majority of Democrats think he is a strong President (51%), that means 49% of even Democrats don't think he is a strong President.
  • 75% of Republicans “think Biden is a weaker commander in chief compared to most recent presidents, as do 13% of Democrats and 44% of unaffiliated voters.”
  • The majority of respondents (54%) think that Biden is less aggressive than recent Presidents “in pushing what is best for America,” while only 24 percent think Biden is more aggressive.
  • In less than five months Biden is in free fall and taking the country with him.
So, we have another corrupt and possibly violent former government official running loose with a knife in San Francisco, the pathetic priorities of the mainstream press, more defund the police idiocy that endangers more and more Americans every day, and the nosediving, negative perception of Biden’s Presidency.

April., 2021, Part 2, Political Class Insanity: Biden Continues To Lie, Psaki Continues To Embarrass and Is Biden Not Even Able To Sign His Name Now?

It is the beginning of another month which means it is time again to review the latest political class insanity from the American political class. Each month it takes us multiple posts to cover the wasteful spending, incompetent government organizations and employees, government programs that usually make a problem worse than resolving it, inane and idiotic politician comments, etc.

After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.

1) Jen Psaki is Biden’s press secretary. She is in my opinion the worst press secretary in recent memory. She rarely answers a question, preferring to constantly and annoyingly say, “I’ll have to circle back to that.” Which is okay to say once in a while when given an odd question but she says it constantly, evidence that she is always ill prepared to run a press briefing.

Recently she was at it again and tripped herself up, indicating that she was aware of a situation and question that was posed and lied her way through it:
  • Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, has been an embarrassment to the family and the country for years and years.
  • He was kicked out of the service for drug abuse, he has taken advantage of his father’s political status to get bribes from various countries around the world, he started a relationship with his deceased brother’s widow while still married, he got a stripper pregnant, and he may have criminally falsified information on a gun application.
  • In addition, it appears, based on confirmation from various sources, that he accepted a $3.5 million “gift”/bribe from the mayor of Moscow, Russia.
  • This is not new news, it was part of the election news cycle back in 2020.
  • But in a recent news briefing Psaki was asked by a New York Post reporter what that $3.5 million Russian gift was for.
  • She immediately played dumb and claimed she was not familiar with the transaction even though it was part of the last election cycle, the Department of Homeland Security reported on it, and a U.S. Senate report reported on it and yet, she says she is unaware of this situation.
  • But she immediately then claimed there was not much evidence behind the claim (“It doesn’t sound like it’s backed up by a lot of evidence.” )
  • So what is it: you cannot claim you are unaware of the gift but then say there is not much truth to the story, which is it Jen?
Thus, she was either again totally unprepared for the question despite the history of the bribe or she is lying and ducking this question like she has ducked hundreds of other questions with her lame “circle back” excuse. Totally inept person in a very important job, much like her boss, Joe Biden.

2) We have previously reported on the many, many lies Joe Biden told over time that were listed in the following post (a post that also documented his sexual predator behaviors and racist comments and attitudes):

Once in office, his continued propensity to lie has not abated:
  • Biden recently commented, more than once, that a person can go to a gun show and buy a weapon and not have to get a background check.
  • This is the so-called, nonexistent “gun show loophole” that liberals have falsely been pushing for a very long time.
  • For the record, the gun show loophole NEVER existed.
  • Biden’s specific lie went as follows: “Most people don’t know it, you walk into a store and you buy a gun, you have a background check. But you go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want, and no background check.”
  • A Federal background check is done every time a gun is sold by a Federally licensed gun seller, whether it is in a store or at a gun show.
  • Even Politifact, a liberal loving, Democratic lap dog, called him out on the lie once the White House tried to spin his lie by saying “some sales without background check take palace at gun shows” to which Politifact rebutted: “That’s not what he said. Biden claimed that all sales at gun shows avoid background checks.”
When your fact checking friends call you a liar, you're probably a liar. A trait he has demonstrated so many times over the decades he has been in politics.

3) Very shortly after Biden made the above, false statement, his Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, was asked about Biden’s gun show statement. Remarkably, she denied that was his belief even though, as the statement above shows, he said that you could walk into a gun show and buy a gun without a background check. Specifically, Psaki said that “it is not his belief” about no background checks at gun shows.

So who is lying: Biden that says gun show sales do not have to have background checks or Psaki who about an hour after Biden stated his belief said it was not his (Biden’s) belief. What an inept circus.

4) It has been my contention going back to the middle of 2020 that Joe Biden is in the throes of a significant cognitive decline, based on his behavior and speech difficulties and my experience caring for an elderly relative who came down with and died from dementia.

My opinion has not changed, given his continued inability to form coherent thoughts and sentences and his need to write everything down when speaking. And now there is a growing suspicion that things have gotten so bad cognitively that he is not actually signing and approving legislation and executive orders.

Highlights from the article include the following:
  • The article lays out his signature as it appeared in past documents in previous years.
  • It then lays out what his signature looks like on recently signed documents he has signed since becoming President.
  • The first thing you notice is that every signature sample included in the article is absolutely positively identical to each other, indicating that he is not actually singing government documents, some sort of machine is actually doing the signing (which calls into question if anything he “signs” is legal if he did not sign it himself.
  • But more interesting is that his most recent signings look suspiciously like Jill Biden’s handwriting, samples of which are also included in the article, especially when you look at the “B” in “Biden.”
See for yourself and then decide if the argument and samples put forth are valid in your mind. Because if they are, then we have a President who has cognitively declined so much that he no longer is in control of his signature, his wife had to forge his signature in order to get it processed through some sort of signing machine that is now used to sign official government documents. 

All of which, again, raises the question: is anything that comes out of the White House valid if Joe Biden did not sign it himself and what appears as his signature is a forged, mechanical copy.

That will do it for today. Bottom line: this administration is an insane mess and an embarrassment on so many levels.
