After reviewing just a handful of these insanity posts we think you will agree that we are currently being served by the worst set of American politicians ever to hold office in our entire history.
1) News reports were rampant this past week that the Biden administration was going to spend $30 million of taxpayer money to hand out free crack cocaine pipes to drug addicts around the country. Not surprisingly, the response to such idiocy was widespread and appallng for any number of reasons:
- This type of nonsense enables drug addiction, it does not help to cure drug addiction.
- This type of nonsense has been used multiple times across the country with other government entities and it always made the drug addiction worse, not better.
- There are far better uses of $30 million including feeding the homeless and treating drug addiction, not enabling it.
- Despite just about every news outlet claiming that crack pipes were being bought for drug addicts across the country, Psaki claimed that this was not true.
- Specifically: “[the kits] may contain alcohol swabs, lip balm, other materials to promote hygiene and reduce the transmission of diseases like HIV and hepatitis. I would note that what we’re really talking about here is steps we’re taking as a federal government to address the opioid epidemic, which is killing tens of thousands, if not more, Americans every single day, week, month of the year. There was inaccurate information out there,” Psaki continued on the subject of the Washington Free Beacon story. “This policy is focused on harm reduction strategies, including prioritizing the use of fentanyl test strips and clean syringes.”
- Ah, there it is, not crack pipes, syringes for drug addicts to shoot up their drugs.
- Obviously, this is just as bad, if not worse.
- Cities that have tried giving out free syringes, addicts still kept shooting up drugs and then left dirty needles all over the city streets, endangering the lives of adults, kids, and animals that would be walking down those streets.
- It did not cure addiction, it enabled more addiction and endangered others.
And it is quite ironic that the Biden administration is now so worried about opioid deaths since their open border, failed immigration policies have resulted in a massive increase in illegal drugs coming across the border. Somehow he thinks that giving away lip balm is a better solution than locking down the border and making the drug cartels work much harder to get their poison into the country. Insanity.
2) As most people know, Canadian truckers have engaged in a nationwide protest against the ridiculous Canadian covid mandates that have endangered freedom, and economic vitality in Canada. Note that these are Canadian truckers protesting in Canada against the Canadian government administration of boy king, Justin Trudeau. And yet, Trudeau recently blames Americans for the Canadian protest:
- He implied that Americans were funding the “Freedom Convoy” that have been protesting across Canada for the past few weeks.
- Specifically: “This morning, I had a direct call with President Biden to talk about our shared challenges at the border. I updated him on the situation, particularly. We discussed the American, and indeed global influences on the protest. We talked about the U.S.-based flooding of the 911 phone lines in Ottawa, the presence of U.S. citizens in the blockades, and the impact of foreign money to fund this illegal activity.”
- Of course, he provided no information or proof that outsiders, non-Canadians, were behind the protest.Trudeau has performed very poorly in this crisis. It is obvious that this is a national Canadian movement.
Joel Lightbound, a member of the Canadian parliament, summed this failure up quite nicely: “I think it’s time to stop dividing Canadians, to stop pitting one part of the population against another. I can’t help but notice with regret that both tone and the policies of my government changed drastically on the eve and during the last election campaign. Time to stop with the division and the distractions. It’s time to choose positive, not coercive methods. It’s time to unite. Finally, why am I alone voicing these concerns publicly today? I can tell you that I’m not the only one who feels varying degrees as I do within our ranks. I remain hopeful this call for more humanism, for more reason, for more hope will be heard.”
Finally, a voice of reason who is actually a politician. But Trudeau, in typical politician manner, blames everyone else for his failure and has shown that he has zero diplomatic and leadership skills. Just another useless, long term politician.
3) As we referenced above, Biden's stupidity and failure in controlling the border has resulted in a massive increase in illegal drugs coming into this country. It will obviously result in more American drug addiction and more drug addiction deaths.
But it is not just a drug addiction that's manifesting itself on the Biden border fiasco:
- Border Patrol agents recently came across two five year old girls coming over the border without any adult accompaniment.
- Let me say that again: two five year old girls came into this country by themselves.
- They were just two of more than 160 unaccompanied children that were apprehended coming over the border.
- These 160 were a subset of 2,280 kids that came over the border in the fourth quarter of 2021.
- One of the five year olds was found wandering alone on February 7.
- The other five year old was found on February 9 along with three unaccompanied teenagers.
- According to a Border Agent: “Border Patrol agents keep finding small children abandoned at the edge of the Rio Grande river, and we’re grateful that these two are safe. But there have been other children who were not so lucky. For years, agents have found children in the river after drowning while trying to cross, and it has to stop. Unfortunately, the policies of this administration are only encouraging parents to send their children on the dangerous trek across the border. Until the White House and Congress figure out how to stem the flow across the border and create an orderly process for those seeking asylum, current policies are only going to lead to more children tragically drowning.”
That will do it for today’s insanity: five year old girls wandering along the border by themselves, Trudeau calls all dictator on his citizens, and Biden wastes $30 million on an absolutely stupid and fatal idea.
