Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class continue to show that they are incapable of operating any level of government in this country.
Even their best efforts are almost always inefficient and ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.
1)For years, many of us had to put up with certain liberal city politicians claiming that they were more sympathetic than the rest of us, that they were more caring, that they were somehow better people because they declared their cities to be so-called “sanctuary cities.” This means that illegal immigrants were welcome to their cities and would be protected by Federal law from breaking immigration laws.
But these city politicians are having big headaches from being so caring vs. the rest of us. Biden’s failed border policies has allowed millions of unvetted and unvaccinated illegal immigrants from dozens of different countries to illegally enter the country. The illegal immigrants are now flooding into sanctuary cities to the dismay of the same politicians who bragged about being sanctuary cities.
They are realizing that the ramifications of being a sanctuary city is real when thousands of illegal immigrants show up on your doorstep and these folks need taxpayer funded food, shelter, and medical needs. This has resulted in these same politicians diverting taxpayer dollars away from programs that support their citizens (police, fire, education, sanitation, etc.) to service illegal immigrants and incurring serious budget shortfalls.
And these big city illegal immigrants crises are not restricted just to the big cities like Chicago and New York City:
The smallish city of Portland, Maine once declared itself to be a sanctuary city.
And now as illegal immigrants flood into their small city, the city struggles to service their needs with city taxpayer funds.
More than 1,000 illegal immigrants have arrived in the city between January and April of this year.
The city has had to pay for setting up an emergency shelter to shelter upwards of 125 illegal immigrants.
Portland city spokesperson has stated that,, “Our staff have been completely at capacity in terms of who they’re able to shelter and assist.”
A local American citizen summed up the frustration of local politicians taking better care of illegal immigrants than American citizens: “People from other countries come here, automatically get housing, get free care, free everything, it’s not right,” Bryce, who said he is homeless in Portland and that he came to the U.S. legally and went through a 10-year citizenship process.
Another day, another city taking better care of foreigners than its own citizens. It just isn’t right.
2)We have not talked a lot about Hunter Biden’s dealing with foreign entities and the bribery and kickback schemes he is allegedly involved in, schemes that also allegedly involved his father. To focus on the high number of shady business dealings and self enrichment/self indulgent activities would take us weeks, if not months, to cover all of the allegations.
But the latest news of investigations into his bad behavior has taken a very serious turn relative to his father:
According to real life bank documents obtained by Congressional investigators, Hunter Biden sent his father monthly payments from his bank accounts.
These payments usually followed after Hunter Biden received payments from his overseas business associates and partners.
Keep in mind that Joe Biden has constantly said that he had nothing to do with his son’s shady business dealings.
These payments first went into Hunter Biden’s Owasco Bank account and then funds were transferred directly to his father on a regular, monthly basis.
According to Congressman Comer: “Payments from Hunter’s business entity to Joe Biden are now part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in and benefited from his family’s influence peddling schemes.”
For example, in September, 2017, Joe Biden received a $40,000 check from his son’s account.
This happened shortly after a Chinese company sent Hunter Biden $5 million that went into one of Hunter Biden’s companies.
He then moved $400,000 to his Owasco account and more than $130,000 to one of his corporate accounts.
Curious how after receiving $400,000 into his bank account, he sent EXACTLY 10% to his father.
Hunter Biden then sent $150,000 to his uncle’s company and then his uncle sent $50,000 to his own personal bank account and another $40,000 to Joe Biden.
And this laundering of money is just one scheme that the Biden family had going on over the years. It does not include the whole Burisma episode in Ukraine and other Chinese shenanigans. What a mess of corruption.
3)Martin Luther King, Jr. was the greatest civil rights advocate this country ever had, maybe one of the greatest Americans this country has ever had. He worked tirelessly to end segregation and help the races co-mingle and respect each other, erasing stereotypes in the process. One would hope that politicians in this country would recognize his greatness and try to be a role model for his dreams of equality.
But as almost always happens with American politicians, hope is a false premise:
Michelle Wu is the mayor of Boston.
She is not a white American and is obviously not a fan of Martin Luther King Jr.
I say that because her Director of City Council relations, Denise DosSantos, recently sent out a party invitation to the “Electeds of Color Party.”
In other words, white people are not invited to a taxpayer funded party,, only people “of color.”
But she screwed up, rather than keep this obviously racially biased action a secret, she mistakenly sent it out to white members of the city council also who found out that they were NOT invited to this government funded party.
DosSantos then sent out a second email when the jig was uncovered, clarifying that the invitation was exclusively for the six councilors “of color, not the seven white councilors”.
She then tried to smooth everything out with a stupid attempt at an apology, another affront to Martin Luther King, Jr.:"I wanted to apologize for my previous email regarding a Holiday Party for tomorrow. I did send that to everyone by accident, and I apologize if my email may have offended or came across as so. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused."
So rather than say she was sorry for this racist action, she tried to minimize it by saying you white folks should have never seen the invitation, nor harm no foul, okay?
Non-white Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson did not see the racism, segregation aspect of this mishap, saying there was “no need for apologies at all,” the “email should not offend anyone” and saw no issue with a racially segregated party.
So sad that people of color want to return to a sad, sad story of American history, the segregation of the races. And you can be sure that their hypocrisy would come roaring out if the seven white Councilors put out an invitation that said “government funded party for only white people.” I cannot imagine the uproar.
4)The FBI has obviously severely damaged its reputation over the past decade or so. They went from probably one of the few respected and admired government entities to a biased, bad priority, oppressive police force. Over those years:
They illegally meddled extensively in the 2020 Presidential election.
They have harassed innocent Americans who simply wanted to protect their Second Amendment rights.
They have harassed innocent pro-life people who simply wanted to express their concern for the unborn and exercise their First Amendment rights.
They have harassed Catholic congregations and innocent Americans who were simply exercising their First Amendment rights.
They have harassed parents who simply wanted to have a say in their childrens’ education.
They have spied on innocent Americans, while at the same time lying to the courts, who were simply going about their business, violating Americans’s Fourth Amendment rights.
All of this has shown that the FBi today not only has bad priorities but also little respect for Americans’ freedoms. And while the FBI has been using taxpayer wealth for these stupid, oppressive activities, the safety of every American is apparently at high risk:
In a recent interview, retired FBI assistant director, Chris Swecker, stated that the country is vulnerable to a “catastrophic” terror attack.
Specifically: "I worked counterterrorism up close and I've never seen this country so vulnerable to a catastrophic attack. Much of this is caused by the open borders, which seem to me to neutralize all our other counterterrorism efforts. Now we have the holidays when terrorists like to strike."
As a result of Biden’s open borders, Swecker says that Islamic terror cells are already operating inside the country.
His comments are similar to comments made by high ranking FBI and Department of Homeland Security officials.
FBI Director, Christopher Wray recently testified in front of Congress: “I see blinking lights everywhere I turn. I've never seen a time where all the threats, or so many of the threats, are all elevated all at exactly the same time."
He also warned about the perils of Biden’s open border disaster.
So even the Director of the FBI says we are in dire danger and he allows his FBI resources to go after Americans who are trying to protect their First, Second and Fourth Amendment rights, who have done nothing criminal or suspicious except exercise their rights. If there is a catastrophic terror event, then both the FBI and Biden’s failed border policies are at the top of the list when it comes to explaining massive American citizen casualties.
Another bad day for American politicians: sanctuary cities continue to pay for their stupidity, the Biden crime family marches on, racial segregation makes a comeback and the FBI continues to fail.
