Voter Fraud Review - Part 5

One of the most important cornerstones of our country and our democracy is the ability to elect people to office to carry out the wishes of the citizenry. The bedrock of that concept is that one person has one vote which makes all of us equal under this doctrine, rich or poor, white or black, young or old, every vote should be legitimate and count as one person voicing their own opinion in the voting booth.

When this principle of one person one vote is violated or appears to have been violated, the whole foundation of our democracy and freedoms is undermined. We can never be quite sure if the election results actually reflect the will of the people or if those election results have been skewed by incompetence, deceit, criminal behavior, and anti-freedom forces.

I have people in my life that pooh pooh the idea that there is massive voter fraud in this country, either intentional or unintentional, due to incompetence or deceit of government officials and politicians. We have taken a look at their hypothesis that ‘s elections:voter fraud is insignificant over the past few days. I thought we would be done with this topic with the last post but more incidents of potential voter fraud have come to our attention, requiring another day of discussing this topic. When we finish all of the examples, you will agree that our voting processes are badly broken and possibly criminally broken and skewed and that unless actions are taken to restore the faith in our election processes, the country and the freedoms we enjoy are in serious trouble.

1) Joseph Curl, writing for the Daily Wire website on July 26 2017, pointed one of the reason why California may have thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants voting in our country:
  • In January, 2015, the state of California no longer required people applying for a California driver’s license to prove they were legal residents of the state.
  • All they had to show were “eligible proof of identification and residency in the state,” i.e. they only had to prove they actually were the name going on the license and that they lived in the state.
  • Under the law, the license could not be used to “discriminate against a holder of an AB-60 license, or use this license to attempt to question the holder's citizenship or immigration status."
  • But the law also said that these driver’s licenses could not be used to for identification purposes even though one of the main requirements for registering to vote in the state is a driver’s license.
  • According to the Sacramento Bee, over 900,000 illegal immigrants living in California have California driver’s licenses.
Now it is certainly possible that none of those 900,000 illegal immigrants never illegally registered to vote or illegally voted in state and national elections using their state issued driver’s license to register to vote. Right.

2) Another Joseph Curl article for the Daily Wire on May 31, 2017, went into more detail on illegal immigrants voting in Virginia, a topic we touched on a few days ago:
  • There were/are thousands of illegal immigrants registered to vote in the state of Virginia according to a new study by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF).
  • Furthermore, thousands of those illegally registered illegal immigrants have already cast thousands of votes in previous elections.
  • It took the PILF three lawsuits, tons of public record reviews, and reviews of voter history across 133 Virginia voting districts to uncover the truth.
  • The state of Virginia itself removed 5,566 voters who were illegal immigrants from the voting rolls between 2011 and 2017.
  • About a third of those removed had illegal voted in previous elections.
  • That third had cast 7,474, illegal votes over the years, some going back to the 1980s.
  • According to the PILF, Virginia state election government officials “routinely fail to alert law enforcement about these illegal votes or registrations” and that “At the instruction of Governor McAuliffe’s political appointees, local election officials spent countless resources to prevent this information from spilling into the open. Virginia hid critical information that would have improved election integrity while a political operative-turned-governor vetoed numerous proposals that would’ve prevented alien registration and voting. From NoVa to Norfolk and all urban and rural points in between, alien voters are casting ballots with practically no legal consequences in response.”
  • In Fairfax County alone over 1,000 illegal immigrants were removed from the voting lists.
  • Documents obtained by the PILF found emails where state employees talked about altering government records to hide the extent of the screw up.
  • One example of tampering involved Arlington County General registrar Linda LIndberg who wrote in an email: “This group [PILF] has and will interpret the fact that there may be voting credit on the cancelled record as “illegal aliens” registering and voting, despite the voter having subsequently affirmed his citizenship. ... I am going to delete or otherwise notate these names from my report, either by deleting the rows from the Excel version or marking them on the report.”
Illegal immigrants registering and voting and government officials altering government documents to cover up the reality. No wonder the integrity of our voting processes is in doubt in many parts of the country.

3) I used to work for a manager who had a great saying: Nothing is more devastating to an opinion than the proper number.” As a formally trained statistician, I believe that understanding the numbers of a situation allows one to understand the reality of the situation, much like some people did with a set of Harvard University based voting numbers:
  • Rowan Scarborough, writing for the Washington Times on june 19, 2017, discussed a study that estimated as many as 5.7 million non-citizens may have illegally voted in 2008.
  • The study was done by a group called Just Facts which is a widely respected think tank that is conservative and libertarian in nature.
  • Its president, James Agresti, and his organization looked at data from a large Harvard/YouGov study that goes out every two years and questions a sample size of tens of thousands of voters, some of which acknowledge they are noncitizens and thus, are not legally supposed to vote.
  • Just Facts analysis of the Harvard daya estimated that as many as 7.9 million non-citizens were illegally registered to vote in 2008 and that between 549,000 and 5.7 million actually did vote in the 2008 Presidential election.
  • For the 2012 Presidential election, Just Facts estimates that 3.2 and 5.6 million non-citizens were registered to vote and between 1.2 and 3.6 million actually did vote in that election.
  • In addition to this analysis, professors from Old Dominion University also looked at the Harvard raw data and did a different analysis.
  • This study was caused the Cooperative Congressional Election Study.
  • These professors estimated that in the 2008 Presidential election as few as 38,000 and as many as 2.8 million non-citizens voted.
Shady voting realities in California, Virginia, and across the country with potential illegal immigrant voting being a distinct possibility with the possibility of the wrong politicians getting elected also being a distinct possibility. That will do it for this series of posts where we have identified a multitude of voting irregularities that need to be addressed as soon as possible. Regardless of whether voter fraud is a reality or a perception, it does not matter, in either case it undermines the integrity of our voting processes and our democracy.

Voter Fraud Review - Part 4

We have taken a look at their hypothesis that voter fraud is insignificant over the past few days. I think that when we are done today with this topic, you will agree that our voting processes are badly broken and possibly criminally broken and skewed and that unless actions are taken to restore the faith in our election processes, the country and the freedoms we enjoy are in serious trouble.

1) Joe Schoffstall, writing for the Washington Free Beacon on May 18, 2017, reported on an analysis that is done every year by the state of Kansas which checks multiple voter registrations across state lines:
  • The latest analysis found that over 7 million voters are simultaneously registered in at least two different states.
  • This finding comes from the Kansas operated voter registration crosscheck program that has been in operation since 2005.
  • And this analysis only covers the 28 states that participate in the program, indicating that the 7 million double registered estimate is probably way too conservative.
  • Also, the study found that 916,000 people are registered multiple times in the same state with North Carolina accounting for 90% of the in state multiple registrations.
  • Almost 68,000 of the voter records analyzed found that these registrations had invalid birth dates associated with the voter registrations.
  • The current analysis is about the same as the 2014 study which also found over 7 million multiple registrations which implies that no progress has been made in fixing this embarrassment.
There is a lot of room for voter fraud in a pool of 7 million dual registrations. Disgusting how poorly the American political class handles the very important task of voting integrity.

2) Let’s go from 7 million voting problems nationally to a local voting problem down in Florida, according to an April 8, 2017 article on the Patriot reporter website, summarizing a report from the Daily Caller website:
  • In a recent political race for sheriff in Putnam County, Florida, 42 ineligible voters voted in the election.
  • The winning margin was only 16 votes.
  • Which from a theoretical perspective raises the question: if they caught 42 ineligible voters, how many ineligible voters did they not catch and would those uncaught bad voters have been enough to tilt a very close election? Again, perception is reality and the perception of voter fraud is just as bad as real voter fraud.
One fraudulent vote should be enough to concern all Americans.

3) Let’s travel west from Florida ands see what Hank berrien, writing for the Daily Caller website on June 13, 2017, found out about potential voter fraud in Indiana:
  • Turns out that 11 temporarily hired voter canvassers and their supervisor, Holiday Burke, were arrested for submitting fraudulent voter registration applications in the run up to the 2016 Presidential campaign, according to the Associated Press.
  • They were all employed by the Indiana Voter Registration Project.
  • Another political group, Patriot Majority USA managed the Indiana Voter Registration Project and the parent group has ties to Democrats Bill Clinton and Harry Reid.
  • When about a dozen bogus voter registrations showed up in Hendricks County in Indiana, a follow up investigation got underway to look at voter registration processes and results in pover 56 Indiana counties.
  • According to a Biz Pac Review article on this matter: “A search warrant unsealed on Nov. 14 says some workers admitted to falsifying registrations, saying they faced the possibility of losing their temporary job if they didn’t register at least 10 new voters a day. The probable cause affidavit says supervisors told canvassers “to obtain their quota by any means necessary.”
  • Some of those involved in this criminal action have confessed to their submitting of fake voter registrations and all involved could face up to two and a half years in jail and the Indiana Voter Registration Project could be fined up to $10,000.
  • Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said, “By giving someone a financial motive to (meet a quota) is what caused these canvassers to cut corners and do things that not only undermined the goal of having legitimate registered voters but led to a situation where we allege it bled over into criminal conduct.”
These folks got caught but again, the perception is raised is how bad is this problem and how many perps did not get caught and what damage did these folks to to the voting process integrity. Of course, in true liberal fashion, those in charge of Patriot Majority USA blamed this investigation on racism and attacks on the right of African Americans to vote despite the evidence uncovered and the fact that some workers admitted to falsifying records.

Today we have discussed voter fraud and voting problems in Indiana, Florida, and across the nation which undermine the integrity of our democracy. Over the past four days we have reviewed similar problems from New Hampshire to Virginia to Colorado to California.

After reading the past four posts in this blog and witnessing the analyses and research that proves our voting processes are broken and threatening our democracy, I am sure you would have to agree that at best we have a real perception of voter fraud and incompetence and at worse our voting processes no longer always reflect the will of the people.

Voter Fraud Review - Part 3

We are going to take a look at their hypothesis that voter fraud is insignificant over the next few days. I think that when we are done, you will agree that our voting processes are badly broken and possibly criminally broken and skewed and that unless actions are taken to restore the faith in our election processes, the country and the freedoms we enjoy are in serious trouble.

1) Over the past few days we have showed many examples where there is nation wide voter fraud going on, either through incompetence or criminal fraud. Donald Trump has claimed that this situation existed during the entire 2016 Presidential campaign and set out to do something about it. He set up a commission that was planning to look into voting fraud and deal with it to protect the integrity of our voting processes and democracy.

The state of Colorado decided to help Trump weed out voter fraud. According to the Washington Examiner, shortly after Colorado agreed to turn over state voting records over to the effort, hundreds and hundreds of people across Colorado’s voting districts started to withdrawal their voter registrations.

In Denver alone 175 people pulled their voter registrations immediately. In Arapahoe County, Colorado, 160 people pulled their voter registrations immediately even though the usual rate over the same time period is usually around 10.

The obvious conclusion is that these were fraudulent voter registrations, either being pulled by people that were ineligible votes or were fake registration altogether. If they were legitimate voters who wanted to voice their positions on the issues, what reason would they have to pull their registrations in light of being investigated?

It is great that even the threat of investigating voter fraud results in likely fraudulent voters going underground. Unfortunately, 14 states have decided not to help Trump and America ferret out voter fraud in their states, further leaving the integrity of our voting processes in doubt.

2) Let’s move over to the state of Virginia and see how bad that state is faring relative to voter fraud and voting irregularities. According to a May 31, 2017 article on the Federalist Papers website by Robert Gehl:

  • A report from the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PLIF) found that over 5,000 non-citizens were registered to vote in Virginia sponsored elections.
  • These 5,000 illegally registered voters were eventually removed from the voting records.
  • But they were removed not because of any kind of government investigation but because they self-reported that they were not legal to vote.
  • Which leaves the question that if 5,000 people honestly removed themselves from the voting rolls, how more thousands who were not that honest are still on the voting registration lists and still illegally voting in Virginia?
  • According to PILF President, Christian Adams: “At the instruction of [Virginia] Governor McAuliffe’s political appointees, local election officials spent countless resources to prevent this information from spilling into the open. From NoVa to Norfolk and all urban and rural points in between, alien voters are casting ballots with practically no legal consequences in response.”
Another state and another state with a substantial issue of voter fraud and irregularities.

3) Let’s keep the voter fraud issue rolling and look at a national picture of voter fraud, as painted by an analysis and research by the Election Integrity Project of Judicial Watch, as reported by Deroy Murdock and the National Review website on August 11, 2017:

  • The basis of their analysis was data from the Census Bureau’s 2011-2015 American Community Survey and July, 2017 data from the Federal Election Assistance Commission.
  • Their analysis covered data from 38 states and overall resulted in an estimate that says there are at least 3.5 million more people on U.S. election rolls than citizens that are eligible to vote.
  • 462 counties across the country had more voters registered than eligible voters in those counties.
  • These 462 counties were 18.5% of all the counties studied.
  • The most blatant example was Harding County in New Mexico which had 62% more registered voters than adults living in the county.
  • Washington’s Clark county had 54% more voters than citizens eligible to vote which represents at least 166,811 “ghost” voters.
  • California’s San Diego county had at least 810,966 ghost or over registered voters while Los Angeles county, at a 112% ratio of registered voters compared to eligible voters, had 707,475 ghost voters.
  • But according to Judicial Watch, LA County employees told Judicial Watch that the real ratio in LA County is 144%, not 112%.
  • In total, all of California counties have at least a whopping 1,736,556 ghost voters.
  • According to Judicial Watch President, Tom Fitton: “California’s voting rolls are an absolute mess that undermines the very idea of clean elections. It is urgent that California take reasonable steps to clean up its rolls. We will sue if state officials fail to act.”
  • Other states found to have significant numbers of ghost voters, enough to swing a Presidential election and the resultant Electoral College votes, include Colorado: 159,373, Florida: 100,782, Iowa: 31,077, Michigan: 225,235, New Hampshire: 8,211, North Carolina: 189,721, and Virginia: 89,979.
  • Note that Hillary Clinton won both Colorado and New Hampshire with winning popular vote margins that were far less than the number of ghost voters registered in each of those two states.
  • Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach and co-chairman of Trump’s Advisory Commission on Election Integrity: “When you have an extremely large number of stale names on the voter rolls in a county, it makes voter fraud much easier to commit. It’s easier to identify a large number of names of people who have moved away or are deceased. At that point, if there is no photo-ID requirement in the state, those identities can be used to vote fraudulently.”
  • The CBS network affiliate in Chicago in October, 2016 compared local voting records with the Social Security Administration’s master death file and found that, “the analysis showed 119 dead people have voted a total of 229 times in Chicago in the last decade.”
  • The CBS network affiliate in Los Angeles reported in May, 2016 that at least 265 dead voters had voted in southern California “year after year.”
Distressing examples of actual or perceived voter fraud situations across the country, possibly enough to upset and taint Presidential elections. But many (Democratic) politicians do not want to fix what is an obvious affront and danger to the integrity of our voting processes and democracy:

  • Democratic Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe vetoed common sense legislation earlier this year that would have required investigations of elections in which ballots cast outnumbered eligible voters.
  • When Florida Republican Governor Rick Scott tried to follow Federal law and clean up Florida’s voting records by removing 51,308 dead voters from the voting rolls, Obama’s Justice Department field a Federal lawsuit to stop him from doing another common sense deed to protect voting integrity.
Given that most of the most blatant voting irregularities are occurring in so-called blue states , e.g. California, New Mexico, Colorado, etc., and Democratic politicians go out of their way to stop common sense voting reforms, I think it is pretty obvious who benefits most from voting atrocities and fraud.

More distressing tales of voter fraud to follow.

Voter Fraud Review - Part 2

1) Yesterday we discussed the reality that many states have more registered voters in many of their counties then they have citizen adults living in those counties who would be eligible to vote. The WND website recently reported on a different type of voter fraud and voting irregularities:
  • The Washington Times reported recently that according to research by New Hampshire Republican Speaker of the state House, Shawn Jasper, nearly 6,000 people voted in the Presidential election last November in New Hampshire who had neither obtained an in-state license or nor registered a motor vehicle since their November vote.
  • 6,540 people had voted using out of state licenses but since then only 1,014 had obtained an in state New Hampshire license, possibly indicating that a lot of people voted in New Hampshire who should not have voted or who voted twice, once in another state and once in New Hampshire.
  • Given that Hillary Clinton defeated Trump in New Hampshire by only 2,736 votes while Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan defeated the Republican Senate candidate by 1,017 votes it is quite possible that both the Presidential and Senate voting in the state were corrupted and fraudulent.
  • The Times article said that 196 people are actively being investigated for illegally voting in the state and elsewhere.
  • Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of the Houston, Texas-based vote-monitoring nonprofit True the Vote, told WND “no one knows how many non-citizens are voting, because under the Obama administration, attempts to find answers were blocked at every turn.”
Very serious stuff. Imagine if the Electoral College results were so close that that the Electoral votes from New Hampshire made up the difference and allowed Hillary to win despite the reality that the popular vote difference was much smaller than the the fraudulent vote total. The entire voting process and Hillary Clinton Presidency would have been viewed as totally bogus by over half of the country, the majority of the country that did not vote for Hillary.

A divided country would have become even more divided because of faulty voting processes.

2) P. Gardner Smith, writing for the MRCTV website on August 29, 2017, discussed the evidence of massive voter fraud in Chicago, based on Freedom Of Information Act requests:
  • Chris Cleveland, the chairman of the Chicago Republican party (a truly futile position to be in, given that Chicago has been dominated by crooked Democratic politicians forever), filed a Freedom Of Information Act to get access to Chicago Board of Electors records.
  • The analysis of those voting records found that 15 Chicago precincts had at least 100 more ballots cast than registered voters while other precincts had fewer ballots counted than actual votes cast.
  • In total, precincts having more votes cast than voters totalled up to an extra bogus 16,000 votes being cast.
  • Now, according to law, the Chicago Board of Elections has to respond to Cleveland’s request for an explanation.
  • I would not hold one’s breath in getting a cogent answer back to such bogus voting records and history, given the city’s horrible record for holding valid elections.
  • The article goes on to discuss the state of New Hampshire and its voting problems, much like our previous point.
  • A former New Hampshire Democratic politician, Ed Naile, did some voter investigation when he became head of the Coalition of NH Taxpayers. He cross checked the lists of people who voted in New Hampshire elections, who lived close to colleges in the state, with the student attending those NH colleges with the hometowns of those students.
  • Unfortunately, he found that many of those who were attending New Hampshire colleges and who voted in New Hampshire elections had doubled voted back in their home towns. Most of those that appeared on all three lists were registered Democrats.
Given such widespread actual or perceived election fraud and shenanigans, is it any surprise that Pew Research Center found that only 20% of Americans trust our current set of politicians?

3) We have previously reported on this proven case of voter fraud but given that voter fraud is the topic of the week, let’s review an actual case that has been prosecuted for voter fraud:
  • A Virginia university student has already been found guilty of voter fraud and is serving jail time.
  • Andrew Spieles, a student at James Madison University, will serve 100 days in jail based on his illegal work for a Democratic party-affiliated voter registration group, work that paid him to register voters during the 2016 Presidential election campaign.
  • Unfortunately for him and the country, the people he was registering to vote were completely dead at the time he filed their voter registration papers.
  • He got caught submitting voter registrations for dead people, one of which was the dead father of a current Rockingham County, Virginia judge.
  • According to the government investigation: “Spieles later admitted that he prepared the false voter registration forms. He obtained the name, age, and address of individuals from ‘walk sheets’ provided to him by the Virginia Democratic Party, fabricating a birth date based on the ages listed in the walk sheet, and fabricating the social security numbers.”
Another three cases of potential and actual voter fraud today. Faking dead people voter registrations in Virginia, more voters than actual people in Chicago, and double voting in new Hampshire. More voting fraud and nonsense in the upcoming days.
