Voter Fraud Review - Part 4

One of the most important cornerstones of our country and our democracy is the ability to elect people to office to carry out the wishes of the citizenry. The bedrock of that concept is that one person has one vote which makes all of us equal under this doctrine, rich or poor, white or black, young or old, every vote should be legitimate and count as one person voicing their own opinion in the voting booth.

When this principle of one person one vote is violated or appears to have been violated, the whole foundation of our democracy and freedoms is undermined. We can never be quite sure if the election results actually reflect the will of the people or if those election results have been skewed by incompetence, deceit, criminal behavior, and anti-freedom forces.

I have people in my life that pooh pooh the idea that there is massive voter fraud in this country, either intentional or unintentional, due to incompetence or deceit of government officials and politicians. We have taken a look at their hypothesis that voter fraud is insignificant over the past few days. I think that when we are done today with this topic, you will agree that our voting processes are badly broken and possibly criminally broken and skewed and that unless actions are taken to restore the faith in our election processes, the country and the freedoms we enjoy are in serious trouble.

1) Joe Schoffstall, writing for the Washington Free Beacon on May 18, 2017, reported on an analysis that is done every year by the state of Kansas which checks multiple voter registrations across state lines:
  • The latest analysis found that over 7 million voters are simultaneously registered in at least two different states.
  • This finding comes from the Kansas operated voter registration crosscheck program that has been in operation since 2005.
  • And this analysis only covers the 28 states that participate in the program, indicating that the 7 million double registered estimate is probably way too conservative.
  • Also, the study found that 916,000 people are registered multiple times in the same state with North Carolina accounting for 90% of the in state multiple registrations.
  • Almost 68,000 of the voter records analyzed found that these registrations had invalid birth dates associated with the voter registrations.
  • The current analysis is about the same as the 2014 study which also found over 7 million multiple registrations which implies that no progress has been made in fixing this embarrassment.
There is a lot of room for voter fraud in a pool of 7 million dual registrations. Disgusting how poorly the American political class handles the very important task of voting integrity.

2) Let’s go from 7 million voting problems nationally to a local voting problem down in Florida, according to an April 8, 2017 article on the Patriot reporter website, summarizing a report from the Daily Caller website:
  • In a recent political race for sheriff in Putnam County, Florida, 42 ineligible voters voted in the election.
  • The winning margin was only 16 votes.
  • Which from a theoretical perspective raises the question: if they caught 42 ineligible voters, how many ineligible voters did they not catch and would those uncaught bad voters have been enough to tilt a very close election? Again, perception is reality and the perception of voter fraud is just as bad as real voter fraud.
One fraudulent vote should be enough to concern all Americans.

3) Let’s travel west from Florida ands see what Hank berrien, writing for the Daily Caller website on June 13, 2017, found out about potential voter fraud in Indiana:
  • Turns out that 11 temporarily hired voter canvassers and their supervisor, Holiday Burke, were arrested for submitting fraudulent voter registration applications in the run up to the 2016 Presidential campaign, according to the Associated Press.
  • They were all employed by the Indiana Voter Registration Project.
  • Another political group, Patriot Majority USA managed the Indiana Voter Registration Project and the parent group has ties to Democrats Bill Clinton and Harry Reid.
  • When about a dozen bogus voter registrations showed up in Hendricks County in Indiana, a follow up investigation got underway to look at voter registration processes and results in pover 56 Indiana counties.
  • According to a Biz Pac Review article on this matter: “A search warrant unsealed on Nov. 14 says some workers admitted to falsifying registrations, saying they faced the possibility of losing their temporary job if they didn’t register at least 10 new voters a day. The probable cause affidavit says supervisors told canvassers “to obtain their quota by any means necessary.”
  • Some of those involved in this criminal action have confessed to their submitting of fake voter registrations and all involved could face up to two and a half years in jail and the Indiana Voter Registration Project could be fined up to $10,000.
  • Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said, “By giving someone a financial motive to (meet a quota) is what caused these canvassers to cut corners and do things that not only undermined the goal of having legitimate registered voters but led to a situation where we allege it bled over into criminal conduct.”
These folks got caught but again, the perception is raised is how bad is this problem and how many perps did not get caught and what damage did these folks to to the voting process integrity. Of course, in true liberal fashion, those in charge of Patriot Majority USA blamed this investigation on racism and attacks on the right of African Americans to vote despite the evidence uncovered and the fact that some workers admitted to falsifying records.

Today we have discussed voter fraud and voting problems in Indiana, Florida, and across the nation which undermine the integrity of our democracy. Over the past four days we have reviewed similar problems from New Hampshire to Virginia to Colorado to California.

After reading the past four posts in this blog and witnessing the analyses and research that proves our voting processes are broken and threatening our democracy, I am sure you would have to agree that at best we have a real perception of voter fraud and incompetence and at worse our voting processes no longer always reflect the will of the people.
