Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class Far continue to show that they are incapable of efficiently operating any level of government in this country.
Even their best efforts are almost always ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.
1)We have often made the case that the Biden Presidency has been a failure along so many different perspectives: economically, inflation wise, diplomatically, immigration wise, skyrocketing crime rates, etc. He has absolutely been a failure from a fiscal and economic perspective:
51% of those recently asked in a Bloomberg public opinions poll said that they were better off financially under the Trump Presidency than under Biden.
Only 32% said they were better off under Biden.
Those polled said the cost of everyday goods is their number one concern.
In just three years, Biden’s economic policies have increased the national debt by trillions of dollars, propelling the devastating national debt load to well over $34 trillion.
Early in his Presidency the annual inflation rate hit a devastating 9.1% in June, 2022, a level not seen for almost 40 years.
It is now at around 3.4%, about 70% higher than most experts consider healthy for the economy.
Overall inflation is up over 20% since Biden took office.
The cost of many basic food products is up much more than this overall average 20% increase.
The cost of gas is up about 50% on average since Biden took over.
While the stock market is up 40% under Biden, it soared 68% higher under Trump despite the economic crash caused by the pandemic.
Mortgage rates are at a decades high level, about 7%, preventing millions of people from being able to buy a home for their families.
Middle class people have to average more than $106,000 in household income to comfortably afford an average house in this country, an all time high and up 80% since 2020.
You get the idea, life is much more challenging and depressing from an economic perspective since Biden took office, a trend that doesn't look like it is going to change anytime soon.
2)Many of the actions that Americans were forced to take during the pandemic were on the recommendations of Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top official in the health bureaucracy of the Federal government. Wearing masks, social distancing, getting vaccinated, etc. were just some of the major inconveniences that Americans were forced to experience based on his “expertise.”
But given recent Congressional investigations, his expertise and integrity are being called into question:
According to Congressman Rich McCormick, he now believes that Fauci lied to Congress during his Congressional testimony.
Specifically, the alleged lying is related to the Chinese Wuhan Institute of Virology, the place where many people believe the covid virus originated from.
Fauci testified to Congress in May, 2021, that his government organization, the NIAID, “has not ever and does not fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
But in very recent testimony, the National Institutes of Health's Principal Deputy Director, Lawrence Tabak, said that the government actually did finance research in Wuhan.
In addition, on May 22, Dr. David Morens, a top advisor to Fauci, is scheduled to testify regarding new information that he deliberately obstructed Congressional investigations into the origins of the covid virus to protect his former boss, Fauci.
What a mess. Not only were Americans’ lives disrupted to drastic lengths it now appears that quite possibly American taxpayer dollars were used to create the pandemic and Fauci, the man in charge, lied about it to Congress.
3)So it looks like Fauci may have lied about whether or not American taxpayers funded the source of the covid virus and he put that lie forth in front of Congress.
But in other Congressional testimony he revealed another government lie, a lie that inconvenienced every American:
At a Congressional committee meeting he stated that social distancing recommendations that so impacted our lives “just sort of appeared.”
“Just sort of appeared?” Does not quite sound scientific if you ask me.
Thus, the government bureaucracy forced us to buy and to wear masks, kept us shut up at home, kept our kids home from school, stayed six feet away from every other human being, etc. based on nothing scientific?
He also testified that policies and mandates that he promoted “may increase vaccine hesitancy in the future.”
Congressman Brad Wenstrup summed up these government failures quite nicely: "Dr. Fauci’s transcribed interview revealed systemic failures in our public health system and shed light on serious procedural concerns with our public health authority. It is clear that dissenting opinions were often not considered or suppressed completely. Should a future pandemic arise, America’s response must be guided by scientific facts and conclusive data."
According to Senator Rand Paul: "When asked by a fellow co-worker, Sylvia Burwell, he told her the truth. He said the masks don’t work because the pores are bigger than the virus … but then in public he wears three masks and in private he tells his colleagues you don’t need to wear one."
So social distancing just popped up out of the thin air and the government lied about it. The virus likely came out of an American taxpayer funded virus lab in China and the government lied about it. Joe Biden lies about everything. Great government we have these days.
4)One of Biden’s greatest failures has been to literally allow upwards of 10 million illegal immigrants to march into our country without any serious consequences. Immigrants. These millions of illegal immigrants have cost American taxpayers untold billions of dollars to feed, shelter and provide medical care to these illegal immigrants. Criminal gangs from other countries along with the Mexican drug cartels have caused significant rises in violent crimes in the country.
And it is not just poor illegal immigrants from Central and South America flooding into the country:
In a recent month about 700 Chinese illegal immigrants were apprehended, mostly at the San Diego border with Mexico.Border Patrol Agent in San Diego\.
According to the chief Border Patrol agent in the San Diego area, Aaron Heitke: “The smuggling of aliens from countries such as China are a constant reminder that we must remain vigilant and maintain a strong border security posture.”
FBI Director Chirstopher Wray is on record documenting his fears of the dangers from the Chinese government saying that: “The Chinese government poses a broad, whole-of-society threat to U.S. economic vitality and national security.”
As tensions rise between the Biden administration and China, it is not comforting to know that thousands of Chinese folks have already illegally entered the country. Whether they are all poor souls seeking freedom or members of the Chinese government with dangerous objectives relative to American lives, it is a good bet that we will soon find out and the results may not be pretty.
Enough insanity for today: Chinese walk into the country, Fauci lies to the country and then lies again, and Biden’s failed economic programs continue to produce hardships for us all.
