Over the past ten posts we have discussed the failed border policies of the Biden administration. These failed policies have unleashed violence and crime on innocent American citizens as well as dangers to illegal immigrants. The first of those posts can be access at:

However, during that time, American politicians have continued to show how inept and useless they are so let’s spend a few days catching up on our favorite topic, political class insanity.
1)We have not talked about Chicago lately but let’s lead off with that deteriorating city today:
Over the years we have had to constantly discuss the reality that Chicago has been and continues to be one of the most dangerous and violent cities in the country.
And that reputation was reinforced again this past July 4th holiday.
A whopping 89 people were wounded in the city over the Fourth of July holiday with 19 of those folks dying from their wounds.
An amazing one third of the murders in the entire country over the July 4th holiday happened in Chicago.
Rather than come up with answers to stop the carnage Chicago Mayor, Brandon Johnson, came up with a unique, and ridiculous, excuse for the violence.
He actually blamed Richard Nixon for the problem he cannot resolve.
Just for the record, Nixon left politics 50 years ago, he died about 30 years ago but it is still his fault for today’s Chicago carnage according to the good mayor.
Obviously Johnson has no idea how to fix what he, his predecessors, and political party have created in the city. When clueless, blame someone else to divert attention from your failure. But blaming Nixon is just the height of stupidity.
2)As we have said and proven hundreds of times over the years, the current members of the American political class have proven many times that laws do not usually apply to them especially when it comes to career advancement and self enrichment. So it is refreshing when one part of the government actually points out the disrespect a politician has for current laws:
Apparently, according to a Federal court, Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign violated important campaign finance laws.
According to the Washington Examiner, “A federal appeals court today said Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and a liberal super PAC crossed federal election lines when they flaunted their coordination in a multimillion-dollar effort to defend the Democrat in her losing bid against Donald Trump.”
Furthermore, “In the landmark decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said Clinton and the super PAC Correct the Record improperly used an ‘internet exemption’ to sidestep other restrictions to set up a ‘Benghazi Hearing War Room’ and conduct a witch hunt of critics without reporting it as a campaign expense.”\
Politicians’ campaigns and PACs are not allowed under law to coordinate actions.
And yet, despite being found to have violated the law, neither Hillary Clinton nor those on the PAC will face any punishment, another example of “do as I say not as I do.” The court did reprimand the Federal Elections Commission for not doing its job, with accusations that Hillary got a pass given her political connections.
3)Any major poll on the current set of American politicians is likely to show they are not thought of very highly and are assumed to lie through their teeth to get their way. And as we have shown so many times, Biden has been a very active liar throughout his entire political career:

But one of his biggest falsehoods, whether or not it was intentional, was one of his biggest deceits:
Every government agency that issues numbers on the economy, and the world, usually adjusts those numbers in later months as more data becomes available be it unemployment, labor participation rate, or other economic factors.
Almost always these adjustments of the numbers are relatively minor tweaks, maybe a couple of percentage points difference.
Those tweaks were usually minor until recently, when Biden’s Bureau of Labor Statistics decided that it missed accurately estimating the number of jobs created over the past year by a whopping 818,000 jobs.
In other words, the economy that Biden said was humming along just fine under his tenure had overestimated the number of jobs he created by 818,000 in just one year.
His new estimate said that on average 174,000 were created per month over the past year when the old estimate said there were, on average, 242,000 jobs created each month.
Thus, the Biden administration had over estimated monthly job creation by about 40%, that is not a tweak
Very, very suspicious. Which leads to a philosophical question: is the government under Biden that incompetent when it comes to measuring the economy or was it done on purpose to make Biden’s economic policies look better than they actually were?
And if the numbers were an intentional lie, why did Biden come clean now? Was it because he is still pissed at Harris and the rest of the Democrats for kicking him to the curb from a reelection perspective? We may never know but we now know that his economic policies are not nearly as good as they looked a couple of weeks ago.
4)As mentioned above, we spent the past ten posts discussing how bad, failed and dangerous Biden’s border policies have been. Many innocent Americans have been killed, raped, or assaulted by violent and criminal illegal immigrant parties. Illegal immigrants have died trying to get into this country and many, if not most, female illegal immigrants, have been raped along their route into this country as marked by the infamous “rape trees” along the way.
But there is another aspect of his failed border policies that is just as horrible and potentially catastrophic:
The Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general recently released a report that claims that the Biden administration has lost track of about 32,000 illegal immigrant children that have tried to cross the southern border unaccompanied by an adult.
That number is what the inspector general is pretty confident about but the report also indicated that possibly upwards of a quarter million kids have been lost and are unaccounted for by the Biden administration.
According to a letter Senator Josh Hawley sent to the Biden administration, specifically the Secretary for Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas: “As the report explains, your agency’s failure to issue court notices to these children limits the ability to monitor their location and status. In the Inspector General’s words: without such ability, there is thus “no assurance that [the children] are safe from trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor. You must immediately provide comprehensive public answers to questions concerning the impact of your permissive immigration policies on the safety of children who may now be prey to child labor criminals.”
These results are consistent with a previous New York Times article that alleged that Biden’s administration had lost 85,000 kids.
Very sad situation. It is unlikely that all 32,000, 85,000, or 250,000 kids, whatever the right number is, landed safely with relatives and friends and are living safe, protected lives in this country. More likely, many of them ended up being sex trafficked, raped, put into forced labor, or killed. Just another set of victims of Biden's failed border policies.
That will do it for today: the government cannot count, Biden loses untold thousands of kids, Hillary escapes responsibility again, and the mayor of Chicago is still clueless.
