Politicians Say The Darndest Things, Unfortunately

Long ago, back in 2010, we put out a post entitled, "Politicians Say The Darndest Things." The purpose of the post was to  point out how clueless and ignorant the politicians in Congress at that time were. These clueless folks were responsible for affecting the lives of every American and yet when they open their mouths it is terrifying how out of touch and just plain dumb these folks were. They sign off on legislation that they never read or understood, they did not understand the basic physics of islands, they do  not understand basic economic [principles, etc. Given their ignorance and stupidity, it is a wonder the  country has lasted this long, given the inept leadership that somehow continually gets elected to  Congress.

*******

Politicians Say The Darndest Things. Unfortunately.

I recently came across a reference to an old television show from the fifties which was called "Art Linkletter's House Party." A favorite segment on every episode of the show was called "Kids Say The Darndest Things." Mr. Linkletter would ask questions of some children, usually aged between three and eight, and some of their responses were hilarious. This segment was spun off later into a show unto itself and was hosted by Bill Cosby.

This recollection reminds me of our present day politicians and how they also say the darndest things. Unfortunately, they are not as cute, cuddly, or funny as the kids that Linkletter and Cosby elicited answers from. In fact, they are down right depressing to think that these people are actually in control of the country and our lives and there is nothing funny about what they sometimes say:

Darndest Thing Said: A New York Times article from July 21, 2010 was about President Obama's signing of a sweeping expansion of Federal oversight and regulation of the financial services industry. Regarding the signing of the bill, the President said: "If you've ever applied for a credit card, a student loan, or a mortgage, you know the feeling of signing your name to pages of barely understandable fine print."

Commentary: I would bet that the fine print the President complains about regarding loans, credit cards and mortgages is that way because some government or political class entity passed a law or rule mandating the barely understandable details.

Darndest Thing Said: Regarding the need to pass Obama's health care reform law, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated: "We have to pass the bill so that you can find find what is in it, away from the fog of controversy."

Commentary: Let's see,  we have to pass Obama Care to find out what is in it? This is like saying lets drive along a foggy and icy mountain road at night to see where the road is. At some point, we are going to drive off the mountain. How bad of a bill is it when the Speaker of the House has no clue what is in it and what the likely ramifications are and will not know until the bill is live?

Darndest Thing Said: Not to be outdone by Pelosi, this is how Congressman Henry Waxman, a sponsor of the bill in question, reacted when asked what was in his proposed Cap And Trade Energy Bill: "I certainly don't claim to know everything that is in this bill... I don't know the details."

Commentary: Congressman, if you helped write the bill and are a sponsor of the bill but you do not know what is in the bill, how do you know it is a good bill? How do you know whether it will work and what the ramifications are going to be if you do not know all that is in the bill? Seems like you are on the same foggy and icy mountain road that Pelosi is on.

Darndest Thing Said: Pelosi, Part 2. When asked what good it would be to extend unemployment benefits, the Speaker responded: "It [unemployment benefits] creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name."

Commentary: In Ms Pelosi's world, the more people that are unemployed, the more jobs there are. Thus, if we fired everyone, there would be jobs for everyone. If we had more people unemployed, there would be more unemployment benefits and more jobs created. How did she not get the Noble Prize for economics that was given out today!!! Brilliant!

Darndest Thing Said: Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson speaking on the record at a Congressional hearing on our armed forces deployment on the island of Guam: "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.

Commentary: as with the above quotes, this one can be seen on YouTube. It is pretty apparent that he is serious when he offers this assessment, despite a press release later that he was kidding, there is no indication at the time he said this darndest thing that he was not serious. The bigger problem is not Guam, the Congressman should be more worried about Manhattan and Staten Island tipping over since they have many more people and cars and other things that could make those islands even more likely to tip over.

Darndest Thing Said: I could not find the exact quote that New Jersey Frank Lautenberg said regarding the decision of New Jersey Chris Christie to stop the construction of a new tunnel from New Jersey into New York City. Christie's logic for stopping the construction is runaway costs, costs that he did not want to stick to the New Jersey and U.S. taxpayer at this time of such a weak economy. The cost of the tunnel was originally estimated at $5 billion in 2005, the Federal government recently upped the estimate to $9-10 billion and Christie's analysts said the cost could already by between $11 and $14 billion. The project is starting to sound like the Boston Big Dig fiasco and Christie is putting a stop to it. To which Lautenberg said that cost overruns are inevitable on a project this big, according to the Associated Press.

Commentary: My question to Mr. Lautenberg then is why even estimate what the cost will be to begin with if cost overruns are inevitable? I guess we should just write out a blank check as taxpayers and let the politicians spend as much money as they want. Christie, at least, is one politicians with a enough guts to stand up against this type of government waste and stop the expenditure until there are proper cost and audit controls in place with the appropriate penalties for non-performance. Lautenberg would just write another taxpayer check.

Yes, politicians do say the darndest things but they are not as funny as a five year old. Our current crop of politicians would pass bills that they do not understand, they do not know what is actually in the bill, and do not know what the ramifications will be when the bill is implemented. Our politicians would rather just do things and not worry about the costs since they can always hit up the taxpayer later. And our politicians also worry about the darndest things including capsizing islands. [Note: I excluded Joe Biden quotes in the interest of space and time.]

Now, I am sure my Democratic friends will chastise me for only citing idiotic things said by Democrats. I am sure they will point out similar quotes that Sarah Palin, George Bush, Dick Cheney, and other Republicans have said in the past. But that is the exact reason I did not include them. Both parties are full of incompetence and politicians like the ones cited above. It does not make any difference which ones are elected and in power, the current political processes in this country get us bad, wasteful and dangerous legislation regardless of who is in charge.

What we do as citizens is argue amongst ourselves over who has the dumbest politicians, the Democrats or Republicans while the same tired and dangerous politicians, from both parties, are continually re-elected.  We are satisfied that our party's politicians got elected because we think they are less dumb than the other party's politicians. Dumb is dumb, it does not matter how we label them from a political party perspective. Regardless of who is elected as a result of our political processes, none of them have solved the pressing issues of our time including failing public schools, war on drugs, lack of a national energy policy, the illegal immigration problem and out of control spending and waste.

The obvious, but difficult solution is to change our political processes so that we to not have to choose between dumb and dumber but between candidates that are smart enough to read a bill, understand its ramifications, and vote it up or down accordingly.  Several steps from "Love My Country, Loathe My Government" would be a good start:
  • Step 14 - stop gerrymandering congressional districts to almost guarantee the re-election of incumbents.
  • Step 39  - is a longer term follow up to Step 14 in that it would impose term limits on all Federal government politicians in order to continually get a focused and fresh look at the problems facing America.
  • Step 36 - would require all politicians to take and pass a course on economic principles and theory in order for them to at least know when a bill will have dire economic consequences, even if they ignore the consequences.
  • Step 38 - would require all members of the Federal political class to sign a shared values statement where they pledge to do what is right for the country and not themselves or their party. Components of such a statement would include the principles of respect, integrity, trust and commitment.
Not included in the above list is the most important step of all and that is the need for all voters to stop accepting the performance and laughable quotes highlighted above and start demanding real change and real action on the major issues facing the country. We need to elect the best people for the job, regardless of political party and stop accepting mediocrity because they have the right party affiliation. We need to get to a place where the statement, "Politicians say the darndest things," is a good thing and that it means that they have come up with an efficient and innovative idea to solving a problem. Currently, whenever a politician speaks we could not be further away from that solution-based reality.

*******
One final observation: if you think that their ignorance was distressing over 13 years ago, consider this: Nancy Pelosi, who back then said that legislation had to first be passed to see what was in it, who said that unemployment creates jobs, is still in office. Hank Johnson, who was worried that a Pacific island could actually tip over, is still in office.

These are just two  examples of how corrupted our political processes have become, that people so ignorant of life's  realities serve in Congress for many, many years. They are the poster children for term limits.

Politicians Say The Darndest Things....And Usually They Are Wrong and Ignorant

In some past posts I have made references to an old television show from the fifties which was called "Art Linkletter's House Party." A favorite segment on every episode of the show was called "Kids Say The Darndest Things." Mr.

1)Ihan Omar is a U.S. Congresswoman from Minnesota. She is an  immigrant from  Somalia who has experienced the American dream: a poor immigrant who becomes a member of Congress, earning well over $170,000 every year. Given her wonderful American experience, you would expect and hope that she would appreciate her success story and protect the interests of American citizens.

But that hope would not be a good one, given her recent comments:

  • During a recent speech, she claimed that she and others are, “Somalians first, Muslims second.” There was no mention of where Americans were on her list of priorities.

  • In that same speech she proclaimed that her “No. 1 Job” is to look out for Somalia and that one day, Somalia will go after other countries to “unify all Somalia-speaking people.”

So she was elected to represent American citizens in her Minnesota Congressional district but Americnas do not make her top two priorities. Her district probably is facing a number of problems including crime, homelessness, drug addiction, and other scourges negatively affecting her  constituents but her  No.1 job and priority is to unify people from her homeland that live halfway around the world from her Congressional district. Disgusting priorities.

2)Recently, a Twitter user posted a tweet that listed out the states that had the highest gun ownership rates. Turns out these ten states are dominated by Republican and conservative politicians whose policies are probably in line with most Texan politicians.

Rather than respect the opinions and views of those Americans  living in those ten  states, Texas Democrat state representative Gene Wu responded to the tweet with a picture of an American Air Force bomber dropping bombs. His obvious but silent comment is that Americans that have a different view than him need to be bombed into oblivion for simply exercising their Constitutional rights.

This is an elected official in America that would like to see those with a different view to die, a disgustingly violent attitude. How can anyone in this country, never mind an elected official, call for the violent death of other innocent Americans?

3)It is not just politicians that say stupid things, those on politicians' staffs also do a good job saying stupid stuff.  In late September, Biden’s National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, said: “The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades.”

These words were found to be really ignorant about a week later when Hamas launched a brutal and inhumane attack on Israeli citizens, killing about 1,200 Israeli civilians in a very short amount of time. It is amazing how far off reality a Presidential administration can  be.

And just recently, Biden’s Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, had this quote: “I think it’s very important to note that this is an incredibly volatile time in the Middle East. I would argue that we’ve not seen a situation as dangerous as the one we’re facing now across the region since at least 1973, and arguably even before that.”

So in only three  months or so, the Biden administration went from “The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades” to “We’ve not seen a situation as dangerous as the one we’re facing now across the region since at least 1973.” This immense miscalculation of reality certainly does not give one a sense that Biden and his staff have a clue of what is really going on.

4)But confusion in the Biden regime is not just around the Middle East:

  • Keep  in mind that overall inflation is up about 17% since Biden became President three short years ago and some costs, e.g. food and gas, are up more than this average jump up  in prices.

  • And yet Biden recently had his economic ignorance shine through with this  statement: “Inflation is coming down, it’s now lower in America than any other major economy in the world. The cost of eggs, milk, chicken, gas, and so many other essential items have  come down.”

  • His ignorance is that while the rate of inflation has come down, inflation itself is still rising every month, just not as quickly as earlier in his term.

  • And yes, the prices of some things may have come down recently, but not as far as down to where they were three years ago and as we just said, prices on many daily products are still going up, just not as quickly.

  • Biden has confused a lowering of the inflation rate with the lowering of prices, a simple economic principle that he still cannot grasp.

  • But a member  of his administration, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, correctly contradicted Biden’s ignorance with this comment: “I think  most Americans know that prices are not  likely to fall.”

Yellen gets simple economics: prices have risen under Biden and are not likely to fall.  This is a direct rebuttal to  Biden’s quote and economic understanding that the prices of “so many essential items have come down.” No, they have not come down, they are just not rising as quickly.

Thus, it is no surprise that Biden’s staff cannot understand reality today, i.e. Sullivan’s view of the Middle East vs. Blinken’s view of the Middle  East, since Biden  himself says ignorant things, in direct opposition to what his Secretary of the Treasury is correctly saying, when it comes to the dire economic situation his policies have created for everyday Americans.

Yes, politicians and their associates do say the darndest things: whether it is caring more about non-Americans than Americans, having no problem threatening Americans with violent death for simply having a different opinion, or completely misreading the reality of the world, be it Middle East violence of economic hardships.

Unfortunately when they say these darndest things it makes us realize that they are clueless when it comes to resolving the problems facing the country today.

February, 2020, Part 1, Politicians Say The Darndest Things: Joe Biden, Rolanda Hollis, and Peter Buttigieg

Every so often we run a series of posts under the theme, “Politicians say the darndest things.” It is a parody of an old television show, “House Party,” where host Art Linkletter would ask simple questions of young kids and wait for their often funny responses. This segment of his show was called “Kids Say The Darndest Things.”

Unfortunately when kids say silly or dumb things, it is funny. When politicians say silly or dumb things, there are usually serious ramifications across the land that often involve stupid laws, wasteful spending, self delusion of a politician’s intelligence or abilities, or a continued lack of faith that today’s politicians are smart enough to get anything right.

So let’s take a look at the latest darndest things that American politicians are saying today:

1) Joe Biden has probably been one of the top two politicians to be quoted in this blog for all of the inane, stupid, and off the wall stuff he has said over the years. His only competition is probably Nancy Pelosi for saying the darndest things.

Lately, though, his thoughts and quotes have gone from inane and humorously stupid to a little more evil and darker. A few months ago he called a young woman a liar for asking a reasonable and decent question. And he really got nasty with a young college student when she also asked a reasonable political question.

According to an article on the Freedom Outpost website by Andrew West on February 10, 2020, when a young college co-ed asked him the very reasonable question on how will he rebound from his dismal performance at the Iowa caucuses, he attacked her and her question by calling her “a lying, dog faced pony soldier.” So Many things wrong with this reaction:
  • Why verbally attack someone who might be a voter in November for asking an intelligent question?
  • Why call her a liar based on a simple question, not an accusation, not a slur, not a verbal attack, a simple reasonable question?
  • And finally what does a “a lying dog face pony soldier mean?!?! Makes no sense.
Maybe it is best that Biden just hang up his political spikes. He went from being funny and stupid to mean spirited and irrational. But certainly consistent with our theme of politicians saying the darndest things.

2) Stupid quotes are not restricted to Washington politicians. Alabama State Representative Rolanda Hollis has put together a potential piece of legislation that would mandate that “every Alabama man to undergo a vasectomy within one month of his 50th birthday or the birth of his third biological child, whichever comes first.”

Seriously, this is what is important in the political class in Alabama, keeping track of how many kids a resident has fathered and then making sure one way or another that he is sterilized? Certainly one of the most inane and stupid quotes we have ever come across that has come out of a politician’s mouth. The state/government has no right to forcibly sterilize law abiding citizens, this is a gross violation of the Fourth Amendment. But as always with American politicians, rights and the Constitution often are merely suggestions.

3) Peter Buttigieg is running for President. He thinks it would be a good idea to flood rural American with immigrants to build up the population: “I’m proposing what we call “Community Renewal Visas” that when a community that is very much in need of growing its population, recognizes that, and makes a choice to welcome more than its share of new Americans that we create a fast-track, if they apply for an allotment of visas, that goes to those who are willing to be in those areas that maybe are hurting for population but have great potential.”

Of course, businesses love this proposal. It provides more customers and a larger supply of labor which under simple economic principles will drive down wages and improve businesses’ bottom line. But so many problems with this quote and proposal:
  • There are reasons why some rural areas are losing population, this quote and proposal does not address the root causes of the population loss, it just plunks down a bunch of foreigners into an area that is losing population.
  • What types of skills are these immigrants going to have and how will these skills fit in with the current economic situation? A rural area is unlikely to have a lot of high tech jobs so what good is putting hi tech trained immigrants into an area with no high tech jobs?
  • What would keep these immigrants from going elsewhere once they realize the root causes of the population drop had not been fixed and there were no jobs for them? Are we going to put ankle monitors on them to ensure they stay where they are put?
  • We have already talked about towns like Lewiston, Maine that Obama had flooded with immigrants and the devastating impact it had on schools and other town services. Teachers had to cope with different languages which ruined the educational processes for all involved, native and immigrants.
  • Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are going bankrupt, the national debt is growing so fast, public schools under educate, our infrastructure is crumbling, and there are millions of Americans who are homeless, hungry or drug addicted every day and this clown is working on these types of problems, horrible priorities.
Stupid quote, stupid idea. As always, politicians do not have the brain power or the ability to analyze the root causes of problems and then fix the root causes. Some rural communities are losing population for specific reasons. Find out what those reasons are and then decide what, if any, root cause solutions would fix the problem. Dumping a bunch of foreign speaking immigrants into a community makes no sense if you do not address the root causes of the population decrease. Just ask the folks in Lewiston.

It is an election year so we have a whole set of stupid quotes ready to go in the next few posts as politicians just keep talking without thinking. Today, we just got a beginning taste of stupid quotes and politicians saying the darndest things, from Joe Biden’s temper tantrums and attacks to castrating men in Alabama to dumping foreigners into rural communities, politicians say, and do, the darndest things.

December, 2016, Part 1, Politicians Say The Darndest Things: Obama, Pelosi, and More

Ever so often we run a series of posts under the theme,“Politicians say the darndest things.” It is a parody of an old television show, “House Party,” where host Art Linkletter would ask simple questions of young kids and wait for their often funny responses. This segment of his show was called “Kids Say The Darndest Things.

1) Barack Obama: “My suggestion to the president-elect is, you know, going through the legislative process is always better, in part because it’s harder to undo.”

Comment: This advice to Donald Trump from Obama is particularly inane given Obama’s excessive use of executive orders that were far reaching, often illegal (as subsequent court cases proved out), and freedom depriving. After the disastrous 2014 elections for the Democrats, Obama basically snubbed his nose at Americans and the Constitution when he stated he had “a pen and a phone,” clearly implying that he would govern as a dictator via executive actions since 1) he no longer controlled at least one house of Congress and 2) he deigned it below him to deal with, negotiate with, and compromise with Republicans. And then to give Trump the exact opposite advice, precious.

Also, I am sure that the Founding Fathers set up the Constitution so that the legislative process was the ONLY way to govern. Nowhere in the Constitution do the words and powers of “executive orders” exist. Obama acts this is an either/or process, either use the executive order or the legislative process when in reality and in the Constitution, the legislative process is the only process.

2) Nancy Pelosi: “The [United States] intelligence community never said that [that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction]. There is no intelligence to support that claim. That threat was made by the Bush-Cheney administration.”

Comment: Just another of dozens, if not hundreds, of times when Pelosi stated something as fact that could not be further from the truth. The “National Intelligence Estimate of 2002” was an extensive Federal government report and analysis that concluded that Iraq was continuing to develop and build weapons of mass destruction, the exact opposite of what Pelosi recently stated on TV. Now whether or not that report is accurate, is a different story. The fact that it exists shows that Pelosi was either talking out of ignorance or just plain lying, which is par for the course with her. So scary to think that at one time she was just two heartbeats away from being President.

Note: before uttering such an ignorant and incorrect statement regarding Iraq, Pelosi might have wanted to check some historical comments from leaders of her own party:

“Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. A deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.” — Democrat Sen. John F. Kerry, Oct. 9, 2002

“We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country.” — Democrat and former Vice President Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

“The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists.” — Democrat and former President Bill Clinton, 1998

Think before you talk Nancy, makes you look much smarter.

3) Bill Clinton: Donald Trump “doesn’t know much” but “one thing he does know is how to get angry white men to vote for him.”

Comment: Cannot get much more racist and sexist than this statement. Well over 60 million people voted for Trump, it is not demographically possible for all of them to be angry white men. I have friends, a female sibling, relatives, and co-workers who voted for Trump and none of them are angry white men. To make generalizations like this is so bigoted, so petty and childish, so divisive to the rest of the country.

And even if over 60 million angry white men did vote for Trump, so what? Angry white male Americans have the same amount of rights as any other type of American voter. To condescendingly look down on them like Clinton shows what a small, pathetic angry old white man Bill Clinton has himself become.

4) Senator Dianne Feinstein: “The name-calling, the email intrusion, the misinterpretation of what she had done with the emails, 11 hours in front of a committee while she [Hillary Clinton] was a candidate, and she stood up to it all.”

Comment: Obviously, Dianne Feinstein has a lot of respect and admiration for Hillary Clinton, which is certainly her right and privilege in America. But I find it pretty hypocritical that she feels sorry for Clinton because of the names Clinton was called during the campaign but Ms. Feinstein seems to forget that either Hillary or top members of her campaign also did a lot of name calling of their own:

  • African-Americans are “professional never do-wells.”
  • Muslims are also “professional never do-wells.”
  • Every type of Hispanic voter would be approached via a “taco bowl” strategy,” an attitude and strategy that reduced every variation of Hispanic voter to a single culinary option.
  • Hispanic voters are “needy.”
  • Millions of Americans are "deplorable."
  • Millennial voters are “f...king stupid.”
Yep, maybe Hillary was called some bad names during the campaign but she and her staff were just as gross, just as bigoted, something that Feinstein failed to mention in the interview where she made the above quote.

5) Nancy Pelosi: “They won’t be able to go to their own doctor if you take this away.”

Comment: A little context for this quote from the inane quote machine that is Pelosi. Medicaid, along with Medicare and Social Security, are heading for a fiscal cliff of insolvency as they eat up more and more of the Federal budget and taxpayer dollars. The unfunded liabilities of these programs run into the tens of TRILLIONS of dollars. If something is not done and done soon to corral the runaway costs of these programs, the Federal government and the country will go bankrupt.

Under the past eight years of the Obama administration, a time when Democrats sometimes controlled both houses of Congress and Pelosi was actually in charge of one of those Houses, Democrats and Pelosi did not nothing to address or fix the problem. Now that some adults in Congress, namely some Republicans, are actually trying to find a way to fix this runaway cost problem, Pelosi is worried that whatever changes they propose for Medicaid will result in some Americans not being able to “go to their own doctor.

Which is so precious and hypocritical when you recall that Pelosi was a main driver of Obama Care, a lousy piece of legislation that resulted in tens of millions of Americans losing access to either their current insurance policy, their current doctors, or their preferred hospitals or all three. All of a sudden now Pelosi is worried that the potential Medicaid changes might prevent some people from seeing their own doctors, talk about being a hypocrite.

6) Barack Obama: “Almost every country on Earth sees America as stronger and more respected today than they did eight years ago. In other words, by so many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than it was when we started. It’s a situation that I’m proud to leave for my successor.”

Comment: Where to start with this delusional statement? So many different examples of the exact opposite:
  • When Obama tried to play nice with the Castros and Cuba they took to their newspapers to mock and belittle him.
  • When Obama tried to interfere with how the Philippines President was handling that country’s drug problem, that President called him some unspeakable names and turned to Russia and China for support.
  • When Obama threatened Syria with a “red line” relative to chemical weapons, that country’s President ignored him and Obama did nothing.
  • When Obama threatened Russia with sanctions if they did not leave the Ukraine, Russia ignored him and did nothing.
  • When Obama protested when China started building man made islands in the South China Sea that will serve as military bases, in violation of every international law and rule, the Chinese ignored him and continued on their construction plans.
  • When Obama gave the Iranians a sweetheart deal for nuclear weapons, the US Arab allies looked to Russia for military armaments.
  • When Obama and his NSA were caught spying on foreign leaders, the President of Brazil took the unprecedented move of refusing a formal state dinner at the White House.
  • When Obama continually chastised Israel, he incurred by far the lowest Presidential favorability ratings among Israelis of all time.
  • Despite spending close to half a trillion dollars on the Pentagon over his eight years in office, our military readiness has never been weaker with vast amounts of our military forces not combat ready, making us hardly stronger than we were eight years ago.
  • And while we may be more prosperous than we were eight years ago as a country, this has been the weakest economic recovery since the Great Depression, leaving us particularly vulnerable when the next economic downturn occurs since Obama had doubled our national debt by $10 trillion, 94 million American adults are not in the workforce, an all time high, the true unemployment rate is just under 10%, wages and income levels are stagnant, leaving about 30% of US households with virtually no savings and almost 50% of American households unable to handle an unexpected expense of $500.
Delusional is the only word to describe this President’s higher than merited opinion of himself, a typical narcissistic trait.

That will do it for today’s inane and silly political quotes. If they were not so vital in making decisions in our lives, they would be insignificant parts of our lives. More stupidity, pettiness, and quotes tomorrow.
