Every month we devote posts to just general political class insanity that is running rampant through the country. The members of the American political class continue to show that they are incapable of operating any level of government in this country.
Even their best efforts are almost always inefficient and ineffective at resolving any problem facing Americans. They spend a great amount of time not trying to improve the lives of their citizens but continually ensuring their reelection and enriching themselves, their families, and their friends in the process, all at taxpayer expense.
1)It has gotten worse and worse over time, Joe Biden’s inability to get stories and facts straight, his inability to not tell lies, and his nonchalant approach to reality. Dozens of his lies and fibs have been previously discussed in the following posts:

And despite being called out for his liles and confusions, he continues to do the same thing over and over, most recently in Philadelphia:
He recently gave a speech on Labor Day where he apparently had big three lies and/or detachment from reality.
First off he claimed that Philadelphia helped him get elected to the Senate: “I wouldn’t have been elected to the United States Senate in the first place were it not for Philadelphia. That’s not a joke.”
The problem is that Philadelphia is in the state of Pennsylvania and Biden has never been elected in a Pennsylvania election, all of his election wins have come from representing the state of Delaware.
Thus, how could a city in a different state help him get elected to the Senate?
But he did not stop with the lie or misconception there since he thanked the audience for helping him be elected President “...since you got me sworn in in January 2020!”
But this is also wrong since he was sworn in as President in January 2021.
And finally he tried to convince everyone that his economic policies were wonderful, saying that “everyone on Wall Street” was calling his agenda “Bidenomics” and “And guess what? It’s working!”
Another lie or another out of touch moment with reality since overall inflation is up 16% since he took office, grocery prices are up nearly 20%, gas prices are up about 50%, and the list of bad economic news seems almost endless.
The man lives in a different reality than the rest of us, a world where families are struggling to pay bills because of Washington's and Biden’s anemic economic skills, a world where we know what state our politicians come from, and a world where we know basic dates about our lives.
2)We have constantly talked about the plight of some very unfortunate Americans:
On any one day there are likely 500,000 to 600,000 homeless Americans living on the streets.
Millions of families are often confronted with real problems when it comes to feeding their families given the 20% increase in grocery prices discussed above.
Well over 100,000 Americans will likely die this year from drug overdoses because they cannot get the drug addiction treatment they so desperately need.
But rather than direct more American citizen taxpayer wealth to help these Americans, the Biden administration has a whole different set of priorities:
Wiliam Green is a Border Patrol agent and president of their organization, ALIPAC.
According to Mr. Green, the Biden administration is providing illegal immigration families with $2,200 a month in taxpayer funds along with giving them free plane tickets, housing, food, cell phones, and medical care;
Specifically: “The Biden-Harris administration is giving more money to illegal immigrant invaders, than to our own U.S. citizens. Once a person understands that, then that person will always be on our side of the illegal immigration debate, which is very simple. Keep them all out, send them all home.”
Just another example where we see that Americans in need get overlooked in favor of illegal immigrants. Insane.
3)Liberal local politicians in New York City for a very long time boasted that they were a so-called “sanctuary city” where illegal immigrants would be welcomed with open, caring arms and would be protected from being properly deported for illegally entering the country. And for years they looked like caring, wonderful people who cared so much about the suffering of illegal immigrants.
And then one of their own, Joe Biden, decided to open the southern border and has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to waltz into this country, many of whom have decided to take up New York City’s offer of being a sanctuary city. All of a sudden in a very short time the hypocrisy of these politicians have turned to terror when they realize that being a sanctuary city can be very expensive:
The current mayor of NYC, Eric Adams, recently spoke at a city town hall meeting.
Now keep in mind, Adams has been a proponent of making his city a wonderful sanctuary city for illegal immigrants.
However, in a very short time, about 110,000 illegal immigrants have decided to take him up on his offer.
And this influx has not been a good thing for his sanctuary city and its legal residents: “Let me tell you something New Yorkers: Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don’t see an ending to this. I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City, destroy New York City. We’re getting 10,000 migrants a month,”
He continued: One time we were just getting Venezuela, now we’re getting Ecuador, now we’re getting Russian-speaking coming through Mexico, now we’re getting Western Africa, now we’re getting people from all over the globe who have made their minds up that they’re going to come through the southern part of the border and come into New York City. And everyone is saying, ‘It’s New York City’s problem.’ Every community in this city is going to be impacted. We have a $12 billion deficit that we’re going to have to cut every service in this city is going to be impacted.”
It is easy to be a great humanitarian when you do not have to do anything to back up your lofty aspirations and bragging. However, once 110,000 illegal immigrants turn up on your doorstep, the hypocrisy of his and others’ stances on sanctuary cities becomes so obvious.
And of course, it is American citizens in sanctuary cities who are funding the feeding, housing, and other needs of these illegal immigrant folks and it is American citizens that are going to see their government services cut because of their leaders’ pope dream of being a sanctuary city.
Unfortunately the insanity continues, be it Biden’s constant lies or the disastrous consequences of his horrid immigration policies.
